Very satisfied with service and professionalism. Very responsive as well. Example - last year during the height of the pandemic, our AC went out. They came out right away and offered a reasonably-priced repair. Since the system was old we decided to go new. Unfortunately some of the parts were delayed due to supply chain issues. The installers however figured out a brilliant temporary fix so we still had cold air until all the parts came in. They did this at no extra cost! We highly recommend them!

My AC didn’t seem to be working so I called my dad to see if he had any recommendations on a company to call. He has used John Waters for years and has been very happy with them so he recommended I call them. When I called, they were extremely courteous and accommodating, and got a tech out to my house the same day. Dylan looked at my AC and apparently the filter was just filthy. He also was able to inspect my system and perform routine maintenance after I decided to go with a yearly heating and AC maintenance plan. He was very kind, professional, and courteous and did not try to upsell the maintenance plan (there is more than one to choose from). All in all, a great experience. Would highly recommend.

I had my service panel replaced, an exterior outlet added, and a tankless water heater connected through this company. Although the work was performed satisfactory, Im taking stars off for the following reasons:1. Cleanliness - Every where they worked they left remnants. Its like they didnt care to clean up after their work. They even left tools in multiple locations on different days, requiring them to return to collect them. It was obvious they did not inspect their own work spaces.2. Lack of communication/involvement with customer - I just moved into the house and there were random 2x4s on the wall from previous owners. It would have been nice for the installers to come and say, If you remove this block, we can mount things flush or make this work for you a little better. Also, no final walk through was performed. I was teleworking and crew said they were done and just up and left.I did have an HVAC quote done by them and the gentleman was very thorough and professional, it just did not fit the bill.

Last fall, John Watters repaired our HVAC system for us. They took the time to research our warranty and discovered that our nineteen year old system had one year left on the warranty. This save us a lot of money. They service our HVAC twice a year and have always been great. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I have used John Waters a few times including for systems inspection when I purchased my home, and I cannot say how appreciative I am for the professionalism! Tim & his team always take the extra step especially when it comes to the explanation of the problem and how to proceed. Always arrive within given time window. My wife, young son, and I have always felt comfortable & pleased with them. On a 99 degree day I’m very happy to have my a/c issue resolved!!

I was notified when the tech was on his way, and it was within the window of arrival. John did a thorough job and explained things as he went and had no problem with me hanging around and asking questions. The big concern for me was the 14 year old furnace and its status. Replaced the coil and other things in 2019 but the metal pan and such was showing rust.John was able to allay my concerns. The next concern was the blowing out of dime size dust flakes out of my split unit. He explained how the split actually was structured and why that occurred and what was needed to fix the problem. He also explained it didnt hurt performance and even if cleaned it would come back in a few years and we would need to do it again. Or I could just keep vacuuming the particles. He called into the office to schedule a cleaning of the split unit.Made my part easy.Great experience. John was patient and considerate of my questions and concerns.

We lost our power due to a tree limb,we called John Waters and they were very quick and attentive on getting the issue resolved so that the power could be restored. They were very kind and courteous and would highly recommend them for any work you need to be done. And I appreciate that they followed up the next day to see if everything was done to our satisfaction.

UPDATE:I had another company out this morning, to look at the unit again. They took the time and traced the power issue to an actual transformer problem. The circuit board that I replaced on the recommendation of John Waters was in fact fine, as it was not getting power to the board itself from the transformer. Thus no power at the time it was tested. Also this company did not charge me a penny after I showed them the receipt from John Waters, they offered a free second opinion. I wish you all luck in the future.4 days ago I had a technician come to my house to diagnose an issue with a PTAC unit in my sun-room. The tech came and was here for about 20 minutes and informed me that the circuit board on the unit was bad as some of the connection posts where not getting voltage. I assumed they were correct thanked him for his time and paid $79 for the diagnoses. I ordered the part i needed and in two days installed the new board myself and the same problem persisted, no voltage to the thermostats posts on the circuit board. I called John Waters and explained the scenario and was told that because I did not let them replace the circuit board that I would be charged again for a visit. Now, I will preface my criticism of the company with I have used John Waters multiple times in the past without issues and great service provided, but I can no longer recommend nor procure service from a company that does not stand by their work.

John Waters techs are great and the pricing is reasonable. Just serviced my new home and found a capacitor that was on the edge. He didn’t push to replace it but I want to prevent problems.Love the honesty I have seen in their techs for the 10 years I have used them in Louisville.

AC went out, service tech came out within a couple hours, diagnosed and fixed unit! Fully functioning AC within 3hrs of it quitting.Highly recommend! Professional and efficient.

I have a PTAC wall unit that was making a lot of noise. A technician came to my home and he was very inexperienced. Could not find the reason for the noise so he stuck cardboard sheets between the wall and the unit to try to reduce noise. Did not service the unit or clean it. Could not offer advice for replacement. This totaled 160$ for 30 min of services rendered. I ended up taking the unit out the next day by myself, to find that 2 important screws were missing from the fan casing which was rattling and causing the noise. After discussing with the company the possibility of a discount I was promised a call back but did not hear back.Addendum: As a response to this post the company did call back and offered a 50% discout for the services offered.

They trouble shot wires at several outlets within my kitchen one of which was affecting my refrigerator from not operating. They were able to correct problem. Received excellent service. I am giving 4 stars because we couldnt get together on the price for a new unit. The gentleman was very thorough and methodical in his load calculations, and called back later in the day with a firm price. I thanked him for his time but explained we have a budget we have to stick to, which he understood but didnt really seem interested in what that budget was or in making the sale.

This is the second time that Ive used them for an issue with my AC and both times the staff was very professional and efficient. I will only use them in the future! They could have ran up a pretty large bill doing various checks, but instead gave me a couple options that I could choose from. Troy was very personable and professional! My heat went out late Saturday night on one of the coldest nights of the year. A tech was able to come out within a couple hours of my call on Sunday morning. He was able to get me back up and running within 30 minutes. Fantastic service!

Very prompt. 4 hours from my initial call for service, my AC was up and running again.Efficient, fiendly, knowledgeable technician diagnosed the motor as the culprit within moments of looking at the machine. He got the cost for parts, picked up the new motor, and had in installed in a hour.I have an older system and he provided some wonderful advice on maintenance. Never pushed for a new system (like others Ive had out before), completely understanding my desire to keep our old behemoth running for as long as possible (and financially feasible).Will call again if I need anymore work done on our system.

John was very courteous throughout his time in our home. We had to call him to look at our AC unit after my husband cut a line to it on a Sunday (one of the hottest days of 2018 so far). He was fair in his pricing considering it was a weekend, a Sunday, and hot. He got our unit running again pretty quickly. We will call them again when / if the need arises.

He answered all my questions thoroughly (and I tend to ask a lot of questions)In regards to price John Waters prices were competitive with other quotes I had gotten and they were able to work with me regarding financing (They had better financing options than other companies).Kevin was the technician that came out and did the install. He was very professional and did an excellent job as there were zero problems during the install. Kevin also ensured that the workspace was cleaned up afterwards as well.I would absolutely use John Waters again and plan to for any more HVAC related services.

My air conditioner froze up and it was a scary situation. I called John Waters who I had recently contracted with to do my semi-annual maintenance and they sent someone (Joe) quickly. Joe was very professionally and explained what had happened and the cause. He worked to fix the situation, all along, patiently informing me of the next step and how my unit was responding. Joe was able to reach a successful outcome and my 10 year old unit has more life left in it.The cost was not as high as I had expected given how long Joe worked and that he made multiple trips.Very appreciative for Joe explaining everything so clearly so I understood my options.I have no problem in recommending John Waters to other homeowners based on my experience this week.

We discovered that our home AC was out late one hot afternoon. The office was due to close ten minutes after our call, but the people at John Waters Inc. couldnt have been more pleasant and cooperative. John Waters Inc. was absolutely wonderful! From the lady who set up my appointment to the technician that was very knowledgeable and efficient! I am not very experienced with hvac systems, but the technician was patient and very kind while working! He showed me how to change my filter in the future and walked me through what he was doing and why he was doing it to help me understand what was going wrong with my unit! He also fixed the unit very quickly and stuck around after he reset to make sure everything was working correctly. I can not recommend them enough! Great experience and I will definitely be reaching out to them for any other Hvac issues or maintenance!

Great experience! I had a long list of electrical services to be done - from bringing closet lights up to code, adding coach lights by the garage and another outdoor outlet. Because of the age and design of the house, some of the wiring took a great deal of time. John Waters sent a second technician and a supervisor to complete the work, and to look at what would be the best option. Work was done professionally, in a timely manner and at the rate quoted. The electricians took great care with my home, and cleaned up throughout the day so I hardly knew theyd been there. Highly recommend!

This company has the most qualified technicians. Our recent issue was due to something I would never have thought about and the technician took the time to explain how to prevent it in the future by keeping the cold air returns unobstructed. I used to have them do the 2X per year maintenance and had accidentally dropped it. I never will again. This place is great. I picked them because of the average google rating and Joe did not dissapoint. I called at 4:45 on a Friday and he was here by 5:15. He was fair, honest and explained everything in detail - you could tell he genuninely likes what he does. We had a different outfit in here a few months back and they screwed some things up. Fantastic service! A technician quickly responded to my emergency call over the weekend when my heater stopped working and the outside temperature was low! Instead of paying the emergency rate for a house visit, the technician spent time on the phone listening to the issue and provided suggestions that temporarily fixed the problem. John Waters called me yesterday to remind me of my scheduled 6-month service appointment. the service tech showed up today on time, professional and friendly, quickly resolved my A/C and furnace issues, and answered all my questions. several years ago, both my furnace and A/C went out simultaneously; John Waters handled the full replacement and installation. I signed up for the annual service contract, well worth the cost to keep my equipment in proper working condition, extend equipment life, and reduce/eliminate future breakdown costs.

Were able to come same day. They called to ask if it was OK to come ahead of schedule and again to inform he was on his way. Quick and clean. Cost of repair and call fee was very reasonable.

Absolutely love these guys and gals, cant recommend them highly enough! I had a whole new system installed back towards the beginning of the year, and the AC was struggling to keep up with the recent heat wave. I called them when I came home to the house in the 80s (after hours), and a tech was at my house within half an hour, identified the issue, and had my system strung back together for the next day until they could get the parts for a permanent fix. Everything was covered under warranty, but that didnt stop them from going the extra mile to make sure everything was fixed, cleaned up, and in absolutely perfect condition before they left!

As always I knew I could depend on John Waters. Our furnace was incorrectly set up from the initial installation. We had the installer come in twice to fix it, and it was never fixed. I really appreciRe their annual service plan. The twice a year visits make sure everything is in tune seasonally and provides a discount on replacement part. They replaced our AC a few years ago and did not to to over-sell on the new equipment. The service techs have been friendly, timely and always clean up after the job.

Our AC went out on a very hot night. I emailed them through their website and they called at 8 AM. The repair was done by 9:30 and at a reasonable price. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable.

Workers call before they arrive and arrive in a timely fashion. They are friendly. Work is completed well. I have had no complaints with this company except I feel they are a tad overpriced. However I dont have other companies to compare them with (except prices my neighbors have quoted from other similar companies) so I would recommend them.
