They were fast and efficient. They arrived within an hour of our calling to diagnose the issue with our heat. The service call fee was reasonable. They diagnosed the issue quickly and were able to order the part. They ordered it on a Friday and were back on Monday to install it. Both technicians were courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

We got a furnace through them in 2012. I was home on leave from Afghanistan at the time, and leaving the next day. They convinced us (because we were desperate) to buy a $10k furnace and air for a $50k house. This is not the problem.We got the full 10 year parts and labor warranty. Here we are, about 9 years in, we have a problem with the AC. Its a good thing we have a warranty! Except they have been out somewhere between 8--10 times. I dont know exactly how many, because I have been there for it, my wife has been there for it, the tenant has been there for it. We have all taken off work multiple times. It is getting ridiculous! Are the incompetent? Is it some expensive problem they are trying to patch in hopes that they wont have to pay for it? Either way, it is costing a lot of money just in missed work at this point.Edit: The installation manager Mark just called. seems confident about the problem now, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Today, great customer service is rare. . . with Bryant Heating and Cooling it is with every visit and has been for over 16 years. They were there for me years ago when my system went down on the hottest day of the summer and they were there for me today with my annual cleaning. Denzel took the time to address questions and give advice on ways to prolong the life of my system. Thank you Bryant for always being there for me!

Bryant installed my heating system in 2008. They installed a heat pump in 2019. I have always had very quick response when needing a check-up or maintenance. Their technicians are knowledgeable and explain what they are doing to the system. Recently (Aug 2021) I had found out the control board needed replacing in my furnace. I was without A/C for almost 3 weeks due to a part shortage, not their fault. As soon as it was known (Sep 2021) the part would arrive, they called to set up an install appointment. What I dont appreciate is the cost of labor. For being a customer for so long, prior military and a senior citizen, it would have been nice to receive a discount on the extremely exorbitant labor cost for an hour of work and a 10-minute job to install the part. I guess I didnt express myself loudly enough. I did my research. The part was a couple hundred dollars. The labor was 5X that amount. Not that I could have bought it and installed it myself; therefore, I did not have a choice but to have it professionally installed. But to charge that amount for labor is ridiculous. Be aware.

Absolutely fantastic and efficient service. Called when my AC went out, and they were able to come that afternoon. The service rep on the phone was able to tell where the tech was and that he was finishing a job, and even called to let me know they were delayed at the previous call and would be a bit late. For same day service they literally worked me in within a few hours of the call, so no worries about the technician being late. Service was quick, effective and safe. I will definitely have them come for routine maintenance of the furnace this Fall.

Within 2 hours of calling Bryant, Tim S was at my house, presented me options, found components, arranged for a crew and I had ac (& a total new HVAC system) that afternoon. They Came on time! Even with rain.The Entire tear- out of 29 year old furnace/AC and replacement with new efficient Carrier system, was met by totally professional techs. Along the install, explanations were made and questions answered. An inspector/ engineer came to approve work, make suggestions.All health and safety protocols were followed. They laid a heavy pad on the floor near the front door, wore shoe protectors and masks. They cleaned up completely - inside and out! Our home feels wonderful- we can breathe better, no more humid feeling. The system is quiet, no more whirring vibration . We were going to be using them to replace our entire HVAC system until we found out that they were trying to over charge us by $5000. We got 4 other estimates 3 of them were $5000 less than what they had initially tried to charge us. Needless to say we used someone else, saved a lot of money and are very happy.

My unit needed R22 refrigerant. The Bryant technician said he did not carry it on his truck and that it would take days to get it and would cost $250 per pound. He instead recommended a new unit. I called another company (Baker’s heat and air). Their technician carried R22 on the truck for $125 per pound.Edit: Bryant fully refunded my service call payment, so I have changed my rating from 1 to 4 due to the company’s customer service and integrity in response to this situation.

I could not be happier with the prompt, courteous service I received. My A/C died Monday evening and by Tuesday afternoon I had a new A!C installed.The technician gave me options for repair or replacement.The only negative part was I had to leave during install and when I returned home they had left my back door open.I would use their service again and I highly recommend them.

UPDATE: one of the managers called to discuss the issue and was very apologetic. She even said they would refund the service charge. She was very polite and helpful.We had Bryant come out because our AC quit working. The unit was only 5 years old. Upon inspection, they found that a coil was leaking and I was told that it would not be covered under warranty because we didn’t purchase the unit ourselves (the previous owner of the home did). They told us it would be almost $3,000 to repair. However, the tech was very pushy and kept telling me that we just needed to replace the whole system because it wouldn’t be worth it to do the repairs. This was going to cost $6,000. I told him I thought we would just want to repair it, but he was insistent that we needed to replace it. I finally told him that I had to talk to my husband about it and we would let him know. We called another company who found the same issue BUT they said they could cover it under warranty and it would be about $1200 to fix it, or we had the option of replacing just the outdoor unit (the part is backordered for months) which was STILL less than Bryant was going to charge just for the repair! Bryant was determined to rip us off and I will never recommend them to anyone or use them myself again.

We had a guy from Bryant come out to perform an inspection and cleaning of our HVAC in order to close on our house. After their “30min heads up call” I was a few minutes late getting to the house. I apologized and the guy said “I don’t care, I get paid by the hour. I could sit here for a while.” (First red flag) I showed him the HVAC unit and he was done with the inspection in less than 20mins. When he told me what was wrong, he flashed a blurry picture saying my heat exchanger was cracking and was producing carbon monoxide and that he had to turn off the gas for safety. I could not see anything in the picture due to him flashing it so quickly and it being so blurry. He then told me my unit was so old it needed to be replaced anyways. I could either replace the whole unit for roughly 5k or change the part out for 1k (after he said “good luck finding that part on your ancient unit”. I know it is old but we have maintained it very well over the years. After I told him I would think about it, he went outside and sat in my driveway for roughly 20mins. After I walked out and got in my car, he sat in his car even longer. He obviously takes the “i get paid by the hour” statement seriously. I circled back around to my house minutes later and he was still sitting there. Thank goodness I got a second opinion because they did not find a crack and the gas was never turned off! The inspection did say my unit was old and loud but it was working perfectly as it should. I believe they just wanted to get me to pay them to install a new system. Rip off!!! I will never use this company again and I will tell everyone else not to!!

Gary came and looked at our 1996 air unit on Wednesday we were informed we would need a new unit. We had to contact our warranty company to get it approved. Our ac unit was leaking water really bad to the point we had to put a plastic tote under it so it wouldnt cause water damage. We called Bryant heating and cooling to make an appointment. The tech called before he arrived to let us know he was on the way, he was very friendly and patient with my 3 year old who kept asking him what he was doing (LOL). He drained the line and installed a clean tee and pee trap (sp?) Quickly and was very professional. It fixed the issue thankfully and Im so glad we called this company. I woulddefinitely recommend this company to anyone and if i need any HVAC services in the future, ill definitely call Bryant Heating and cooling again.

We had our heater go out in December for a few days. Bryant Heating sent out a tech who was able to to give us a thorough run down on the problems and really did go above and beyond trying to resolve the issues. I threw in the towel before he did and settled on getting a new unit installed. The removal and installation only took about 6 hours and the team who installed the new unit did an amazing job. They even installed a new pump system and removed old pvc pipe that handled the old drainage. Very impressed and please with this company. I would go to them again in an instant.

Our A/C went out and luckily we were able to get someone out to look at it the very next day. The unit was not that old and was still under warranty. The compressor had gone out. They called the next day and said they had gotten the compressor but it was going to 5 days before they could get someone out here to fix it. We were not happy with that period of time but nothing we could do about it. It was a horrible 5 days The two service people that came out were very professional and helpful which made things a little better.

Thank you for the opportunity to share that Sean and Nick were the two people who installed my new furnace today. Sean what is the lead person and Nick is in training. They were a few minutes early, they introduce themselves they were very pleasant and explained what they were going to do and got right to work. They worked almost all day getting the furnace installed at a variety of intervals explained what they were doing. Sean explained about the operation of the furnace and the thermostat. He was very professional with Nick explaining things to do, giving him things to do very respectful of Nick which was a very pleasant experience. I appreciate their work ethic they are personable interactions and thank you for a job well done.

The Bryant repairman or mechanic suggested I replace both the a/c and the heating unit due to its age for an estimated cost of around 10 grand, but said that he could repair the a/c for around $1000.00.Later that day a mechanic from another company came by as I sought a second opinion. He said the unit only needed a new 45/5 capacitor and cleaning, work he performed for only $185 (contrast that with the $1000.00 I would have been charged by Bryant!) The repairman estimated that I had four (4) years left on the a/c unit lifetime, something Bryant didnt tell me. Since then, my A/C is working like a gem.. Thank god I didnt use Bryant and got that second opinion!

Short version - lots of reviews looks good. But as quantity goes up, quality goes down. Theyll do the big job poorly and stick you for adjustments.Needed AC installed in our house to replace window units. Guy came and gave us a quote. Super nice, professional, made it all sound easy.That was the end of everything going well.Lots of miscommunication between crews, electrician showed up a day early. The guys who installed the system were great, but there was no communication between the quote guy and the install guy, so they had were confused about where and how the install would happen. Kudos to them for getting it done.The really bad part - they just threw the system in. Didnt actually check how anything was working. Ventilation was all messed up and when I called them back, they came out, quoted me another $300 to seal up some vents.Talked to quite a few HVAC companies since then - everyone says the same thing. These guys take the big money for the big work and then run.They dont have the care and attention to detail you get from the smaller family run places.

I had been having problems with my A/C from the beginning brand new home. Production Heating and Cooling did the initial install. Now 11 years later I decided it’s time to replace my unit . The unit looks great, big and efficient. The installers were excellent. I hope my problems are solved. Thumbs up Bryant Heating and Cooling . Update I had problems with the A/C after about a month it was hot in the house and we wasn’t getting any air . I cleared my Nest thermostat like brand new . Just a reboot is not enough. After working with Nest over the phone, they are so professional, I got back cold A/C and everything is more quiet while operating. Remember clear your thermostat when replacing a A/C unit so they can work in harmony.

The only reason I gave them one star is because I couldn’t give them zero. They were very unprofessional. I had to have someone come to fix our AC 2 different times after getting a new AC and furnace installed a week ago. It worked fine for 2 days then stopped working correctly, freezing up not cooling blowing hot air. They came the first time to fix it and it worked a few hours after the tech left then started doing the same thing. Called back the next morning they refused to send anyone until the next day. Meanwhile I haven’t had AC now for a week. We paid them $9000 for stuff that doesn’t even work. The girls that answer the phone were smart and rude and didn’t even try to help just kept telling me someone would call which never happened. If I could make them come back and take all of their stuff and go with someone else I most definitely would. It’s been 90 degrees the majority of the time we have t had our AC working since having it installed. This was all supposed to be new equipment so why have they been out there 2 more times to fix it?! Choose another company!

I paid the 60 dollar diagnostic and the guy said it was a blower fan relay and he could fix it for 681.00 I called the supply house and got the exact part for 23.53 had it put on and still nothing...does that sound ok... what if I would have paid 681.00 for nothing.🤔

Our central air system started freezing up 2 days before we decided to call Bryant’s. We called our original installer twice over the holiday weekend…he never called us back. We thought we could wait a few more days…but the house was too muggy and uncomfortable….even for our pets. I called Bryant’s on a SUNDAY MORNING around 10:30 am….and David…their technician arrived less than 2 hours later from Louisville….and we live in Bardstown. David got to work right away and found the issue. The repair is not yet complete since a dye test needed to be done to find the source of a freon leak….but David was knowledgable and let us know our options and the repair cost range once the leak is found. The total cost is expensive….but I don’t think using a smaller, less-reliable service company would be worth the difference in this case. I like knowing I can call Bryants at any time for needed repairs and maintenance.

Bryant did a great job for us. Our furnace went out this past weekend and they made a service call on a Sunday morning. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and laid out several options for our consideration. Once ever decided on the best option for us, he even found a rebate that helped take some of the sting out of the cost of a new hearing system. They were able to install it the very next day. All of their technicians were prompt and courteous and extremely mindful of COVID safety precautions. They also were very neat and wore shoe coverings when they entered my house with masks on the entire time. They answered all of our questions and concerns and I will definitely recommend their service to others. Our house is now cozy and warm again!

AC stopped working on a late Friday afternoon. We called the company we had been using for 3 years and they said they might be able to send someone out tomorrow, but no guarantee. I heard great things about Bryant, so I called them and they were able to get someone out at 8am the next day with no additional weekend rate. Ro was our tech and he was great! Explained all our options for repairs or replacing the unit. We knew the whole HVAC system was on borrowed time, so we decided to bite the bullet and get a new system. Ro found us the perfect system for us at a great price. They had guys out there the next day (Sunday) to install the new system. The two installation techs were great and professional. Had the new system installed in 4 hours. We couldnt be happier with our experience and Bryant H&C just made 2 new lifelong customers.

Rip off and would not recommend this company. Got a brand new air conditioner installed and it isn’t even 4 years old and has already broke. When it was less than 2 years old they had to replace a compressor. The part was covered but the labor was over $1,000. They are a bunch of crooks who slack off and just want money.

It was during the regular maintenance of Bryant’s top of product line HVAC SYSTEM UNIT AND THEIR AC UNIT we had purchased three years ago, that I informed the service man that was there that during our home’s remodeling we became aware of the extremely poor installation of the HVAC system (the exact contractor’s words to us where “….I understand it’s common in the industry for large heating and air company to hire out other companies “scab labor” to perform the actual labor part, the installation of your purchased system which may be what they’ve done here idk but I’ve never in my 30 years seen such a worse job. They’ve basically just connected your 9k plus 6k AC systems purchase without regard for correctly/ properly insulating the unit to your home!) Upon hearing that we were shocked that was done so poorly as was he to see how bad it was. It’s not his line of work but none the less has been in a lot of properties and it was glaring to an educated skilled craftsmen what he was seeing was an extremely poorly installed system.That was a complete shock to us as one of their “valued customers.”So for the past 3 years we’ve been using a snottily installed 9k plus 6k $$ systems, their top of the line their SALES MAN called it. How do we calculate the energy loss we’ve been paying to LG&E for 3 years?We trusted him and choose to go ahead and buy from Bryant Heating and Air salesmen we welcomed on our home as we listened to how we would benefit from choosing Bryant over other companies and his many advantages Bryant offers verses other competitive companies.We regret that day we invited them into our living room to sit down and discuss how they were the best company for us kinda talk. That and their commercials with such a kind and seemingly astute actual lady customer on TV and how she made us feel like choosing them made us feel like we had found a “family” for all our HVAC needs.When the man finished his work and was ready to take our 300$ payment, he mentioned to me my filter needed replacement WHICH WAS WHAT THE APPOINTMENT WAS FOR! I told him the day before the man from his company came out to do that but had to reschedule because he couldn’t perform the AC check because it was raining and he was the one that carried the big Amazon prime 2 pack filters in box into the house for me off my porch. This second tech was very kind not only to check if the report I’d received from other contractors working on the homes remodeling was in fact correct in his assessment of Bryant’s initial new system(s) install and he verified that yes Bryant would need to come out and correct the original installation issues that were never performed as they should have. He also went back in an put my newly purchased 16x24x4 filter.As far as my husband and I are concerned we wish we never would have believed all their words and the big money advertising (their commercial time in tv is extensive) and chosen another maybe smaller, family owned company that would have really cared about each and every system(s) they sell and install as their income and integrity matter more than getting bigger and growing larger as it seems when I’m on hold when I call Bryant now, my they have grown so large even in 3 years, now all the way up to and including the Cincinnati area.

A/C stopped with error message smart thermostat. I called the firm that installed A/C 2 years ago(not Bryant). They diagnosed problem with main circuit board, replaced that and then decided problem was compressor. While waiting for compressor to be delivered and installed, I called Bryant for second opinion. Denzel from Bryant came, identified problem as a bad connector. He replaced that part, turned everything on and it worked fine. Denzel’s good problem solving saved me from $900 charge for refrigerant in compressor that I would have to have paid despite unit being under warranty.

Service technician was here for 10 minutes to open the outside unit and tell me it was a defrost board and proceeds to want to charge me $650 for a $32 board. The board wasnt even the issue. Please get some better technicians and maybe not charge your customers ridiculous prices.

Edit: Bryant did refund the service charge for this appointment. They also informed me about the incorrect thermostat install fee.. it would be more around $350-650, depending on thermostat. Again, I was able to change out the thermostat and repair the defrost board for $100 total. A big difference from Bryants quote. Hearing similar stories from other people, I will keep the 2 star rating, but am grateful for the refund.We chose to go with Bryant because of Google reviews and being open after hours. However, Bryants pricing was outrageous and Chris missed a blown fuse that should have been replaced then and there. First, they recommended upgrading our thermostat, which they quoted at $995... for a $100-200 thermostat, are you really charging $800 for labor?? Chris was able to clean up some wiring issues from when the furnace unit was first installed and tracked the issue to our defrost board, which needed to be changed. Another $995 charge. With a warranty on our cooling unit, I thought this price was absurd, so I called a local HVAC shop and they literally scoffed at Bryants quote.Well, it was an easy fix and only cost $100. Will not choose Bryant again.

My name is Connie Clark and I paid over $14,000.00 Cash for a new heater/ AC unit for my boyfriend Lane Smith home. When they installed it they did NOT bring a new air filter for the brand new expensive units! I was told they would be out to put a new one in in a couple days. Two weeks went by and I had to call them and they said they would send a tech out to put a new one in and leave me a few new filters for my inconvenience. They showed up with one filter and still have no idea what size I need for our new units. I went with a reputable company and am very unhappy with what they didnt do! I have always been a believer you get what you pay for. Not always true!

We payed Bryant Heating & Cooling to come and check out an air conditioner and when the guy came out and informed u s that the fan was on backwards and thats it. Didnt bother checking the freon or anything, so i called and the lady says that they will send someone out the next day free of charge... the next day... no one shows up, not even a phone call...

We purchased a new 95% furnace from them Bryant less than 2 years ago. To drain the new furnace, they cut my AC drain pipe BELOW the shut off sensor and left it open to the air (see pictures). Well.... on Saturday we came home to a leaking ceiling in the kitchen!Unfortunately the AC drain pipe had backed up through their open cut in the pipe and leaked down to the kitchen....We called and they came to inspect their furnace. They saw how the installer cut the AC drain pipe but said since we didnt purchase the AC unit from them, they refused to fix the problem.I made a terrible mistake by hiring them, but have learned my lesson. I will now fix the drywall and their plumbing myself. Im posting to share my mistake and to strongly discourage others from using them.
