Kevin from Fast Response was a pleasure to work with! Used this company through my home warranty and was honestly a little skeptical. Kevin alleviated all fears. He caught an error that was made by our heating/air company that we have come out twice a year for tune ups. Thinking about cancelling them and using Kevin from now on. He came out twice, second time free of charge (and quickly) to ensure our house maintained comfortable and cool with two small kiddos. Highly recommend! Kevin really is an honest and hard-working individual!

I really like Fast Response Heating and Cooling. Their Technicians are honest, extremely efficient, skilled and provide 1st class service. Fast Signs only shortcoming is their automated phone service... at best its challenging. However, they make up for it with great service and Technicians like Kevin who care about the customer. They get the job done!!!

Do not ever use Fast Response Heating & Cooling. The customer service is terrible! The scheduling is terrible! My AC has been broken for 9 weeks now with no resolution or time frame on when the part will be in again. They have had to deal with American Home Shield and both companies have just blamed each other for all the issues. Both just keep telling me there’s nothing they can do until they have the part. Initially the first part was sent to the wrong place, then lost, then had to be reordered. It took from 5/18 to 7/6 for the part to come in. The tech installed it and not sure if they checked it or what. That day it was not working. I called them back and a tech couldn’t come back until 7/9. The part was bad so they have to get another one. They sent two more people out just to take pictures of the compressor that failed. It’s 7/21 now. Almost 2 weeks after they installed the bad part and I’m still just being told there’s nothing we can do. I have been told different stories every time I call customer service and nothing by American Home Shield who chooses the HVAC company and who I pay for service! I will never recommend either company. I have had to call every 3 days myself just to keep things moving along. Usually nothing is done until I call which is how they found out the part was lost. Why are they not following up on their jobs and outstanding jobs? It’s been a horrible experience!

Fast Response was great to work with. We’ve engaged with them annually for seasonal maintenance and recently to replace our old air conditioning unit. We’ve worked specifically with Kevin a couple of times now and he’s extremely knowledgeable, honest, and on time. We also, liked that the employees we’ve had out have typically been with the company for several years.

They have come 3 times and still have not fixed the my A/C unit. They took over 3 days to arrive after my first 2 request, then for the third request they forgot to schedule it, had to call again, and took 5 days to return. It’s been over a month since my initial call. Did not live up to their name.

Kevin O came out to my house and immediately found out what was wrong with my A/C unit. He came around 9PM (which is late for a lot of people to still be working). He was very positive, upbeat, and a pleasure to talk to. He was very profession and did a great job. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone!

Our A/C was not cooling the house to anything near the set temperature so I called our home warranty company and they assigned us to Fast Response.The first available appointment was a few days out (which I totally understand because we are approaching summer and it has been really hot which makes it a very busy time for them).On the day of our appointment, the technician, Kevin, called to let me know when he was on his way and once he got here, he got right to work checking the various components of our A/C unit, found the issue, fixed it and checked a couple more things to make sure it was all functioning as it should.He explained the things he was doing and he was professional and courteous. Thanks for helping us keep our cool! 😎

I was not very happy with the office staff and it did take 3 days to get my AC looked at... but...the tech was great! He was outgoing, respectful, personal, patient, and efficient. He explained what he was doing, what was wrong with the unit and more. I would use this company again based solely on my experience with this tech.

Was scheduled for AC service through my home warranty. I paid my service charge, a technician came out, didnt even come into the home to look at the AC, then left without telling anyone. I had to call the next day to ask what the technician found. Was told she replaced a part on the outside unit and you guys should be good now. The AC is still blowing warm air which wouldve easily been noticible if the technician had taken 30 seconds to come into the home and feel that the AC was not blowing any cold air. I called again for them to come back out but was told they didnt have anything available for another week. This has been anything but fast response. Had to reach back out to my home warranty to try and expedite an appointment since I wasnt getting anywhere when I called fast response. Very dissappointed, do not schedule these guys if you can avoid it.

EDIT TO ADD: I am not one to leave these type of reviews, but since I was asked multiple times to leave a review from our initial visit, in which I was happy to do so considering I trusted the situation.. however I was not able to delete that review, so I have decided to update it as best as I could with our experience.we are now going on our fourth attempt at getting them to correctly diagnose and fix our AC Unit. What started out as a promising initial visit, has quickly turned into additional breaks and runaround reasons as to why we’ve had technicians to our house, and no fix has been able to be made. Originally, I was told we needed our coils cleaned and Freon. We paid additional on top of our service charge for the cleaning. After cleaning, our Disconnect piece broke off and he was unable to fill with Freon. We had to wait a week for that part to be ordered through our warranty, then put back on the schedule for a follow up appointment. This time, a guy showed up to our house unannounced, stating that he was in the area and wanted to go ahead and fix it.. Thankfully, my husband was able to stay home as I had to leave for work, and the guy told him everything was fixed. The next day our unit was still doing what it had been doing for weeks at this point (set on 69, reading at 78-80)... I called back and they sent me to scheduling again to do a revisit. Kevin called me back apologizing, and informing me that the second technician didn’t read his notes properly and didn’t actually put Freon in our unit.... Kevin assured me that he was coming to fill that up and we would be good to go. Fast forward an hour into this visit and we were told that yet again, that no Freon could be filled at this visit, and that it was determined that our condenser was bad, meaning another order had to be placed with an estimated wait time of up to 14 days, then they would put us back on scheduling to get that replaced. At this point, we’ve been out of air since the first of April. our claim was submitted upon returning back to town the last week of April, we’ve had three unsuccessful visits with what seems like (according to previous reviews on here) runaround reasons to keep returning/replacing parts, due to what I can’t help but feel like is because of our requests being under a home warranty. We are now facing a timeline of them coming back in HOPES of an actual repair at the same time our third child is due... go figure. In the meantime I will be attempting to work from home with a 1 and 4 year old in 80+ degree weather, thanks to this service..————————ORIGINAL REVIEW :Kevin went above and beyond to get our AC fixed from the moment he arrived. From being so understanding when our dog kept escaping her leash to visit him, the muddy yard post rain, a talkative toddler, and all of the in between. He made sure to discuss options with me on repairing our unit, he showed me the before and afters of the unit explaining what it was that he was doing, and even went the extra step to help us label our breaker properly/figure out the correct connection, to ensure safety for my family until his team was able to come back out with new parts and finish repairing our unit.

Great customer service! Great work but fast response is a under statement...they are not fast at coming at all! They dont do appts they had us waiting all day after they called and said they were on the way never showed up so a whole days work gone on day day two did they same thing missed work cause they came really late in the day...it doesnt take nothing for them to have common courtesy!

My home insurance was sending this company and I am glad did it because they send Kevin and he did a great job he checked everything inside outside and change my filter inside and added some Freon outside . Kevin was polite and professional it was nice to do business with him

**Update 3/17/2021** After posting this review, the company did reach out to me to try to remedy the situation. I was assured this was not the way they do business and they would address the issue with the staff involved. While it was too late for me, hopefully Home Warranty customers will be taken care of going forward. I bumped up the star rating for the effort.If you are assigned to them via your Home Warranty Company, just do yourself a favor and request a different contractor.Fast response sent a tech out who told us our unit was 11 lbs. low on Freon and it was going to cost us ~$1100 out of pocket because that was not covered by our warranty. They also offered to replace our unit at a cost of $3600 and said the warranty wouldnt cover the cost because the unit is technically repairable. I questioned the tech because if it is that low there is a serious leak to which he said yea, Ill probably have to come back in the summer to refill the unit again. Then that is a band-aid fix and the warranty would cover a replacement. They still would not report to the warranty company that the unit needed replaced.I didnt feel comfortable with this diagnosis so I had another company (outside of the warranty) come out an evaluate the system and was told my unit doesnt even hold that much Freon and even if it did, if it was that low it wouldnt even turn on! He also advised that the previous owners upgraded the inside unit but not the outside unit and the two used different refrigerants that were not compatible. Even if they repaired it, the units would never work correctly.When I called Fast Response to tell them this they told me they would not send a tech back out to evaluate, I could either buy the new unit or contact my warranty company for a second opinion, but they didnt care.Thankfully I was able to get a second opinion through the warranty company and the new contractor said, Was your other contractor Fast Response? We clean up their messes all the timeAvoid this company they will try to scam you out of as much money as possible.

Our AC was not cooling. I called our home warranty company and they assigned the job to Fast Response. Kevin O’rork was assigned the job. He called to give me a time frame of when he would be there. He came right at the time he gave me. He was friendly and professional. He assessed the problem and had it fixed in less than an hour! He explained what was wrong and what he replaced to fix it. I will definitely use them again if needed. I would recommend them. Ask for Kevin.

On 4/3/21 I called my Home Warranty American Home Shield and placed order for service. Fast Response Heating and Air told me on the day that they had the service order and that they would call me back on that day to schedule a time to come out. This was a Saturday and I called about 9 and was told about 1030am that she would call me back to tell me when they would be out. Saturday came and went and so did Sunday no call. On Monday I called and on Tuesday they came out. The guy that came out said my inducer was bad. He told me it would be 5-7 business days for the part or I could pay 65 or so for faster shipping. I said that I would do the free shipping of 5-7 business days because we werent going to be closing on our home for a couple weeks. ( In the process of selling our home). So On Wednesday 4/7/21 I get a call from Courtney and she tells me that the part is on order and it would be here in 5 to 7 business days. Great! Well the following Thursday I called on 4/15 and was told by Courtney the part was not in yet and as soon as it came in they would get someone out. I have called everyday since then. Been told the same thing everyday and they offer no estimated day that the part will be in BUT let American Home Shield call and Courtney or Rachel will tell American Home Shield that the part is expected in that day and and or this week. This is not how business should be done. I asked if they had a tracking number for the part and they said no. I asked if I ordered the part myself off Amazon with next day shipping could they come put in on was told no. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They keep blaming shipping on COVID. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Amazon has the part I need and it can be here next day. I would not recommend them at all for your needs. Also just a side note. There phone system was messed up one day when I called last week and some guy who was also a customer and my call merged. We were talking and he said well I have been waiting 2 months. I told him at that time that I had been waiting a week. He said that hope I have better luck than he had but I can see I am not. Seems like this is a reoccurring theme with them.

Dealing with Fast Response Heating And Cooling was one of the most horrific experiences of my life. They went for weeks without calling when I caught them in their fraud they would not pick up my number after that. long story short I have a 2 1/2 ton AC unit that requires 4 to 5 pounds of refrigerant and they wanted to put 7 to 9 pounds at 125.00lb in which had I done that would’ve blown up my unit so it was Either incompetence or downright fraud either way this might be the shadiest company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. avoid at all cost.

I would give this company zero stars if possible. We have had a non-working HVAC since we started dealing with them in April, they were out within one business day to troubleshoot it. Since then, it’s been like pulling teeth to get them out. A tech was scheduled to see us today, was a no call-no show. I’ve placed 11 calls in 7 days to this company. LITERALLY every call is ended with them saying “we’ll call you back”, and never one time have they returned the call. They say they can’t get ahold of the tech, or can’t get ahold of the people in scheduling, etc etc etc, and then never follow up. They took 2 months to get our part in when they quoted us 5-7 business days, and then any time we’d call for more information, they would just say “it’s on it’s way! We’ll call the minute it’s in!” Had to follow up with our home warranty company who called to find out the part was actually back ordered and hadn’t even shipped. They even made an appointment for a tech to come out, I came home from work early, and then they called and said “oh, he doesn’t even actually have the part! Sorry!” less than 20 minutes before he was supposed be here, and I was out 4 hours of vacation time. The day the part came in, they called and told us it had arrived and a tech could come out that day, we told them we were almost 2 hours from home and would be home at noon, she said that was fine. We then got a call within 15 minutes from the tech saying he was almost to our house, and we told him we had just told someone we weren’t going to be home until noon and weren’t sure why that wasn’t relayed, he acted annoyed with us, said he likely wouldn’t be in the area at noon but to call when we got home. He then ignored our calls the rest of the day. Our house has been sitting between 80-88 degrees for weeks on end and I have a baby at home. This has been the absolute least professional business I’ve ever dealt with and I will make sure to tell everyone I know to steer clear of them. Fast Response should be changed to Last Response.

Outstanding, professional experience that saved me thousands! I had another HVAC company tell me our AC compressor was burnt out and the entire unit needed to be replaced (including the furnace,/blower) for a cost of $6200. Decided to have Fast Response also take a look and our tech (Kevin) said this was absolutely untrue. Said the compressor was fine, but that the contacter was shot, that the unit was a little low on refrigerant, and badly in need of cleaning. After performing this work, the AC unit started running perfectly! Kevin was very thorough and precise and took the time to explain and show everything clearly to me so that I fully understood what the issues were and the work that he had to do. I am disgusted with the other company that lied to me in an attempt to sell me an entirely unnecessary new HVAC system. I will absolutely be using Fast Response in the future and will specifically request to have Kevin as our tech. They/He have earned my business going forward and I will tell anyone that I know needing HVAC work to give Fast Response a call. Great job!!!

My hsa warranty assigned this company. The first tech that came out was informative and very nice. Stated what part was needed and they would order. Spoke with Candance who told me 5-7 business days. I asked her if there was any other option since my warranty company made this an urgent request. She said she would check and get back to me. She did not call me back. When i called her again she stated she never had that conversation with me. Complete lie. Part finally arrives yesterday. 2 guys come in and state it is now working. Hours later the temp in my home is even higher. I call in this morning and speak to Tish who said the next avail appt was tuesday or wed. Keep in mind i have been waiting for repair since 5/20. When I told her it has to be sooner due to medical she stated it would not be fair to cancel an existing appt for other customers. What was not fair was to throw me at the end of the line due to the failure of previous tech. I told her I was going to ask warranty company for a different company.To my surprise I received a call from a tech named Kevin. He is the ONLY reason I am giving a 5 star review. He took the time to listen to my concerns, apologize for how this was all handled and stayed long enough to see the tempature start to.drop in my home. He owned the mistakes. While I appreciate that Tish did reach out to him to get me the service I deserved it would have been alot less frustrating had she showed some compassion to the situation during our call, or even picked up the phone to call me back stating she was going to try and get me service.Kevin, I thank you again for all of your help. As another customer has reviewed, it seems they put home warranty customers on the back burner. I called my home warranty company 4/7/2021, they contracted with Fast Response to come out and check our AC. I ended up getting a text message saying a tech would be in our area on 4/12/2021, to which we agreed was fine. 4/12/2021 comes, no one has called or showed by 1:30pm so I called, talked to Courtney, she advised we were still on the list to be serviced, 4:45 comes, I called back, talked to Courtney again, her response “hmm I’m not sure what happened, Our techs work until jobs are completed, let me try to reach out to the tech, if he answers before we close in 15 minutes I’ll call you back.” Of course no call back. I call my home warranty company to ask for someone else to be contracted but apparently they don’t want to do that because it would further delay scheduled service. Here we are Tuesday 4/13 9:45am, I received no call from Fast Response. I called them, talked to Alison, she told me she’s not sure what happened, she apologizes and says they can have someone out tomorrow 4/14. Absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. Like I said, they don’t care about home warranty customers, we’re last on the list. Seems to me they shouldn’t even work with home warranty company’s if this is the type of service they intend to give.

I have a home warranty and this company was contracted by them to be used. It took me three days just to get them to make an appointment to come to my home . Yesterday after waiting at home all day for the service call, I called at 4:45 before they closed for the day to be sure a tech was coming. They assured me I was on his route and I would receive a call 30 mins prior, she offered to extend it to an hour but I did not need that. In a matter of 12 mins I received two phones calls one from the tech and 5 mins later from the company telling me the tech couldn’t reach me and I needed to call them . I was on the phone leaving a message for the tech when I got a message from this office telling me to reschedule. I was not giving a 30 min courtesy call and the tech did not knock on the door . I have video of him from my security system walking to my door sticking a flyer on it and leaving . My son was home ! Here we are almost 24 hours later and no one has yet to return my call. Thankfully I was able to get ahold of another company this morning and will have a complete new system installed tomorrow. I understand no one enjoys contest work but this was very unprofessional. I filed a complaint with my home warranty company and asked for my service call refund back as nothing was serviced .

Im so glad I called Fast Response Heating & Cooling to resovle my HVAC issue!!! Even though I live in Lexington, KY they responded sooner then local companies and sent a professional technician to fix my unit. So glad to have AC, highly recommend this company. Kevin, the technician that came to work on my ac unit, was great, but thats where the positive comments end. Entered a service request via my home warranty company. After waiting 48 business hours and not hearing from Fast Response, I spent 3 hours on the phone between trying to call the home warranty company and Fast Response. When I finally called the corporate office, they said they tried calling and got a busy signal. I have call waiting on my cell phone and Im not on my phone that much so I think it was an excuse. Then I was told I was on the schedule for the next day but again, no one had called me yet. Also, the (859) either rang and rang, or the message said I was calling after hours. It was the middle of the day! Fast Response is not an accurate name. 😡

I wish I could give less than a one star review. We had AHS home warranty, started having issues with our upstairs ac. Took fast response 3 days to come for the service call, then sent out a tech who refilled our freon for of course $110 per lb and said you have a leak, someone else will be back out. Fast forward a few weeks, another tech comes out says we need a new coil, ok great. NOPE get an email to state yes they will cover the coil but we will owe $2,400 for random repairs. For presepctive this is a 2 ton unit, I could purchase a new unit for this cost instead of band aiding the old one. I have contacted them and of course neither are going to do anything. They work with the home warranty company or really for as this is the work they do. BEWARE of both this company and AHS both are frauds.

Terrible service. Used them in the spring and technician pored some type of oil in my toilet bowl (HVAC unit is in a closet off bathroom), and for some inexplicable reason turned off the gas line into the furnace even though he was not working with the furnace whatsoever. Even if he felt this was needed there was no reason he could not have turned it back on. In my opinion, he turned the gas off in the spring hoping when I turned the furnace on this winter I would have another service call. They do not do what they say they will do and it took 3 visits to get the repair right in the first place. The technician I had from another company today, without any prompt from me, asked if it had been Fast Response that had been out before. Apparently, Fast Response has a habit of creating problems to get repeated service requests.

Jordan fixed the issue in no time and when it went out again a few hours later he came back same day and fixed it again, thankfully because it was 20 degrees outside! Had an appointment with them on 6/28/2021 took off from work they never showed up never called to let me know they werent coming!!! To me thats not a FAST RESPONSE!!!. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AND NO RESPONSE MADE ME LOOSE A WHOLE DAYS PAY!!!

First time working with Fast Response and I couldnt be more pleased. My tech was polite, friendly, safety minded, and took the extra time to explain the issue and what he did to resolve it. He also arrived wearing appropriate PPE and mask and maintained social distancing while we talked.
