We selected Chapman from a group of six different HVAC contractors and we are very pleased with our choice. Every representative from the sales rep Matt Vaughn, Karly office staff/ scheduling, Aaron, Brandon and Cody installers who were very competent, friendly and professional. Chris, the installation manager was exceptional in his management of the project to ensure we understood all aspects of the system and gave us complete confidence the system would be installed in accordance with the professional standards that would meet or exceed our expectations. He succeeded in all respects to include changing out the 5 wire thermostat for the 7 wire thermostat to ensure complete functionality and consistency with the factory specifications. Absolute satisfaction in all respects from sales process answering all of my questions in a timely manner as we exchanged information I requested, to include a scheduling change at my request due to weather conditions and finally a professional installation team.

My A/C stopped working on the hottest day of the season so far. I called and received prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Warren was extremely helpful and quickly fixed my A/C issue. He even double checked to see if my service or parts were covered under warranty. I highly recommend their service.

We just had a new HVAC system installed today by Cody and Aaron. Not only were they courteous and respectful but they were friendly as well. The installation seem to go like clock work. Our HVAC went out last evening during a stretch of 90 degree high temps. I called them that evening and they had someone out the next morning on a SUNDAY! Alex from Chapman surprised me with a call Sunday morning when I was not expecting someone until Monday. He was able to find the issue right away, which was a bad capacitor. He replaced it and got our unit up and running in about 15 minutes of being here. We are so thankful Chapman was able to come out so quickly and get us up and running!

Alex the technician was on time and professional. Explained what the problem was and replaced the compressor. Also diagnosed and fixed capacitor on my other unit while he was here. Recommend highly.

Our heating went out during freezing temperatures and on a weekend. Alex showed up within 15 minutes of our call and had our heating issue diagnosed and repaired within 30 minutes. Our furnace went out in the middle of a cold snap and these guys were able to come out first thing the next morning. Ended up having to replace it (older furnace so not unexpected) and Terrance was great about explaining the different options. Then he arranged for it to come to our house first thing the next day. Best part was the option I had selected wasn’t in stock, so he upgraded it for free.Will definitely be calling Chapman if I need anything like this again.

My heat went out, system blowing cold air. It was a Sunday morning. I called the service line at 8:30 am and received a return call by 9. My technician Terrance kept me informed of the calls ahead of me. He was at my house before noon and had my heat on in under an hour. This was far from our first work with Chapman, and we were reminded why we keep coming back. This time it was replacing two furnaces and two ACs with all new, upgraded, equipment in a vintage condo with installation challenges at every turn. Because the main furnace was acting dangerous, Chapmans Judd Martin arranged ALL replacements the following day, which few companies could have pulled off. Two crews led by Chris and Cody, put in a ten hour day to get our difficult job finished. Every single crew member was a pleasure to have around for all those hours, and they were all clearly good at their jobs. And the new furnaces are so quiet and responsive to the new touchscreen thermostats that were actually amazed. Theyre even nice to look at! Thank you, Chapman!

Miles has been maintaining our heating and cooling system regularly for years. He is always prompt and courteous. He knows our system well, and we trust him completely. These guys did an awesome job, arrived early, tore out and replaced a heat pump, air handler and thermostat in around 6 hrs. Explained everything about the new system to me and we’re very courteous, it was raining the entire day and there was no mud or grass in the house, and cleaned up all the mess from the old system. I recommend Chapman to everyone.

Chapman responded very quickly to my Christmas Eve day without heat. Joe C was very courteous and through in the identification of the heater issue. Within less than an hour I had heat restored. I am very pleased with Chapman and the professionalism of their technicians.

Overall I had a good experience with the installation of a new heat pump and gas furnace. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. My only concern would be the scheduling of the job. This job should have been done over two days or they should have scheduled multiple crews to be there to get it done in a timely manner. They were at my house for 12 hours to complete the job. Ask for Joe if you need work done.

We used Chapman to redo the HVAC in our full home renovation, including two new furnaces, A/C unit, split A/C, and entirely new ductwork.Their pricing was competitive and knowledge was great. They came up with an awesome plane for our place and did all the work quickly, well, and very professionally.A few months later, the larger A/C unit that they had not installed personally had an issue with the motor. This was in the middle of the crazy summer heat, and our main floor was over 80 degrees.I called that evening, after hours, and Terrance, the service supervisor took my call. He got us scheduled for the next morning and he personally came to check it out.He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it up and running in literally no time. Chapman Heating and Cooling came out to service my furnace that had been having issues staying on. Derek identified that my fresh air intake pipe was insufficient. Chapman dispatched a repair crew the next week and Joe C. was a real pro in explaining how to best fix the problem. He and Cody worked hard to replace and re-route the exhaust pipe correctly and to correct the fresh air intake problem. I am very happy with their work and highly recommend them to others!

Chapman installed my Trane Heating and Cooling System in 2014 and it has been working without any major service needs. This major service call ended up because of a faulty factory weld that they detected and repaired pretty easily. As like most service calls it was higher than like to see. I will be continuing to call them in the future if needed. Office staff has always been very helpful when needing assistance.

Derrick called when on his way...wore booties upon entering the house . He went right to the problem, showed me how condensation pump worked. He cleaned it up and got it running again. Met with Judd Martin on July 2. Had a good discussion concerning rezoning the system his company installed for a previous owner in order to meet our needs. It is now July 16. Have called him 3 times and left a message for owner to call. No contact at all. Very unprofessional. If they didnt want our business it would have been helpful to tell us instead of promising an estimate. Would not recommend this company based on lack of professionalism.

We have been using Chapman Heating & Cooling since we moved to Kentucky two years ago. They contact me every six months to remind me it’s time to service my two furnaces and air conditioning units. We were made aware last summer that one of our air conditioning units would not be able to be repaired if and when it breaks down because it still uses out dated Freon. We decided at that time that the winter of 2020 we would ask Chapman to quote new furnace (old one was end of life) and air conditioning. The time came, we got a quote and great explanation of the difference in unit options and assistance in deciding which options would be best for our condo.One week later, right on time Joe C, Cody K & Jacob arrived with our new units. They had to carry the air conditioner up six flights of stairs to the roof and they had to climb into a crazy little second story cubby hole to remove and replace the and replace the furnace. Everything that could go wrong did that day. Starting with the wrong air conditioning unit was delivered and taken to the roof, brought back down, the correct unit delivered and carried to the roof, the old unit carried back down. The furnace had been attached to a interior wall after the original unit was installed in cubby making it necessary to cut, disassemble and pull it out. The guys didn’t share any of these stresses until the end of the install and by then they were chuckling about it. They stayed until the job was complete so we would be assured of having heat as the temperatures are dropping below freezing most nights right now. They worked through lunch & dinner and never showed any outward signs of stress. Another wonderful interaction with the fantastic guys from Chapman Heating & Cooling. They are out HVAC hero’s.

After using this company for a couple smaller-jobs (tune ups, duct replacement), I thought I had found my go-to for any HVAC needs. I had them assess installing a mini-split unit on the third floor of my home. I was told it was going to be a little more complicated than a typical install, which I was fine with -- I knew Id have challenges like this when I bought a circa-1900 house! However, after multiple contact attempts (calls direct to the sales rep, calls to the office, even submitting an inquiry through their website) I have yet to receive a quote (assessment was about a month ago). I mean, if its not possible, just tell me! And ideally offer an alternative solution :) but I feel like Ive had to literally harass them to give them my business. So, I guess Im back to square one on finding a reliable HVAC contractor. Bummer.
