Beautiful Tray-Chella themed birthday nails by Peter!Ive always come into this place for about 6yrs now on and off and this was my first time getting Peter.I showed him inspo pics and I was lowkey all over the place. But he laid it out and told me what he could do realistically with the products they have. Keep in mind ladies that no artist can replicate an exact design but they can make their own version. Pics are just for inspiration and this is me speaking as an artist myself.Overall I rate Peter high as the length was on point, the shape, curvature, and design all came out perfect.

This place is extremely over priced for their poor service . Not only did they drill into my skin and cut me. They proceeded to pour ALCOHOL IN MY WOUND WHILE IT WAS BLEEDING. For this terrible job they charged 75 just for the hands ! And said it would be 30 dollars more for a design . They left paint on the side of my nail . Lastly the lady filed into my SKIN so now I have it rubbed raw it and it stings

Its been less than a week I paid $85 dollars the first day my middle one had broken I went back to fix them but look how thin they make them and to pay $85 its not worth it... Im a cannabis tender so my nails shouldnt be breaking at all I dont do heavy work

I called ahead of time to see if they had availability and they said yes. As soon as I walk into the door I see that is is packed to the brim with people. I didn’t pay it any mind though because I was serviced right away and the people working on my nails greeted me kindly. I got acrylics and a regular pedicure. When the nail tech started on my acrylics it seemed to be going well. They payed extra attention to the length and if they matched. Then I showed my color/ pattern when another client came and sat down next to me. I noticed that the person working on my nails started to rush. My lines are off, the color is blended together, there are bubbles in my nails, I was nicked with the drill and my nails barley resemble the photo I showed them. I understand that it gets busy and that nails don’t always look like a photo given but a noticeable effort would’ve sufficed. To be rushed because of over booking/prioritizing other clients doesn’t sit well with me at all. On top of that I payed $105 for this service that I wanted for my birthday. I saw that this place had good reviews so I came here. I was really disappointed. Something I would have appreciated was if they had told me they were busy prior to coming in when I called to have avoided conflict like this. I will be going back to have it fixed but I’d rather not come back to this establishment.

I have been going here for 5 years and they are the best in my area for pedicures and nails. My favorite people to go to are Lily or Brandy for pedicures or Lu Lu or Patrick for my nail sets. Enjoy your experience here!!

PERFECTION! When I tell you I was STRUGGLING to find a decent nail salon in LA, it was an ordeal. Personally I cant stand the thick acrylic look but every spot I went to they just piled it on willy nilly 🙃 Then I heard about Polish + Paint and decided to give them a try. My nails are looking SO GOOD, I truly have no complaints. The tech was super kind and very knowledgeable, she took good care of my natural nails underneath when she removed the acrylic mountains the last salon threw on. I am so so happy! The nails are more natural looking and have a beautiful finish. Worth every penny and I will most definitely be back! ✅

Good place to get nails done. But if you want a positive experience stay away from Michael. He had an attitude and was highly rude to me after I asked him if he could clean around my cuticle. He told me he wont be doing anything except changing my polish because its not his job and he is ready to go. Very unprofessional and rude.

Have been coming here for years and today was a deal breaker for me! I walked in and the lady that checks guests in assisted someone that walked in after me who didn’t have an appointment, serviced him before me and asked me to sit and wait! TREAT ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS THE SAME! Do not recommend this place at all!

I got a dip manicure with tips at this salon it was truly a terrible experience. I went in November of 2020, so covid was still very real and no vaccines had been administered. The level of cleanliness was not what it should have been by any means. The artist doing my nails tried to reuse the towels from her last client on me until I asked her not to. My artist also behaved has if doing my manicure was the absolute last thing she wanted to be doing. She dug into the skin under my cuticles and made my nail beds a bloody mess. As for the actual nail design I had to ask several times for her to straighten out her work because she left whole portions of my nail unpainted, and I dont even now how thats possible with a dip manicure but she managed it.I am not sure how this salon has so many positive ratings but Im not the only person I know who has had horrible experiences here and I highly recommend going somewhere else.

All the employees there are very kind and respectful. Everytime I go for my nails, I am never disappointed. They always go above and beyond for customer service. They always do their best to keep the client + their guest together. Owner is super kind and always walks around checking on everyone’s satisfaction

Do you know how you can tell if the nail salon is good or not? If its busy, its good. Polish + Paint is ALWAYS VERY busy. They have the latest nail trends and colors. Nail techs Peter, Judy and Will are excellent. They can do anything: stilettos, almond, super long, dip powder, gel, you name it, youll find it here.

My nails are always beautifully shaped and the colors are gorgeous service is everything the ladies are clean the men are cleaner everybody is always welcoming $$ but you get what you pay for

Tooooo many people inside of the shop could not even walk around made a appointment to get me ans my daughter nails done and the guy was so rude trying to make me get a whole nother nail set then what I already had and refuses to do my nails like I asked they sent another lady that was getting jack the price up from 45 to 75 I was over it being from Texas and wanting to experience me doing my nails down here to have had then half done and having to go to another nail shop smh

I took my mom out to this place so we can have daughter and mother time. I arrive, sit my mom down, get her medi and myself pedi & medi. Everything went well when I was getting charge for both almost $300 dollars. I as a young lady I told her softly why am I being charge if my mother not getting full set . She started to say I am not talking to you get out of here you don’t belong here. I was so ashame and disgusted how the owner can even say that. I am never ever coming back. I just wonder how she treats there employees.

$71 just for white tips, it’s been less than a week and they’ve already started breaking. One broke a day later.The lady very rudely said they’ll only insure their work for one nail, which obviously doesn’t help if the same technique was done for the whole hand.Won’t be back

Can get busy, but they are very fast and professional. You have to wash your hands as soon as you arrive.Very happy with my nails. I got the gel which can get pricey but it is so worth it as they pay attention to little details.

This is my 3rd time and I have to recommend “LULU” she’s the best! She fixed a broken nail from the passed service. She end up fixing the whole set.

I asked for ombre nails & they just gave me just one color & very simple but still charge 65 for them? they didnt fill in the whole nail with acrylic you can see on the sides its missing some coverage I dont think its worth it. the guy that attended me was a big ruff with my nails the drill burned me like twice I have never had that done to me before. he was really ruff when he wanted me to move my fingers almost janking my fingers & twisting them. I know they have to move the hail to see the whole nail but I have never have anyone misstreat my hands & nails like that & he still had the guts to ask for a tip? I could of gone somewhere else & had the same nails done with better service for less. never going back. pictures show what I asked for & what I got

I really like how clean this place is. I paid $110 + pedicure for this set plus tip. Brandy is de definently my go to for a pedicure. She leaves my toes really clean and my feet really smooth. She takes her time and I really feel like Im getting pampered and getting my moneys worth. This nail set was done by Rachel.

I had a really great experience at this salon. They offer many different nail, feet, and eyelash services. They did a awesome job on my full set and pedicure. The manager and staff there are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend going here for top quality nail services.

Last minute find recommendation from a friend, this place was full, no where possible to practice social distancing and temperatures are not checked, they do ask you to wash your hands and in the middle of place sat man with no mask, not even a client just someone waiting on his wife or girlfriend. I will go back when things let off a bit or maybe on a weekday because parking was the pits and the transient problems kind of make me not want to go back, saw a man sitting on the chairs placed outside the store with his pants and underwear down, I feel horrible for the workers there that have to put up with this problem but any how not their fault. The job was great so pretty much go at your own risk.

Pretty trash pedicure for $40. I slight massage and a Scrub and I went home and my nails still feel rough.They literally let your feet soak for 2 minutes before working on them.... not enough time to soften anything so they can take off layers.Will not use again.

It was my sister’s birthday and one of her wishes was for me to go with her to get a mani-ped. Don’t get me wrong, I take care of myself. But it was merely for the meme.So I’ll start by saying that parking is tough. You’ll have to be patient unless you happen to come on a good day. Tip #1, wait in the handicap spot for a few minutes but leave your car on Incase you need to move. I reversed in so that I can have full view of when a parking spot opens up. Took about 10mins max.As for the service, I don’t really know how to rate it cause yeah I’m just a first timer. I ended up just getting my toe nails cut and feet cleaned + massaged. My feet have never felt so smooth.& there you have it. Tip #2 the hot dog place next door is FUEGOOOOOOO 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

1st time here. Lulu did an amazing job. Got down with the perfect shape and size, not bulky, thin on all the right places. Cant wait to come back for my fill n see what other design or color i can get. Cool thing, they have all the major trends on sample nails that way you can choose what u want. Downer though, VERY PRICEY . I was jaw dropped, if i want design on 2 nails its 15 bucks. If i want something extra on ALL the other nails, 15 bucks. On top of that set it is like 45. I just hope they dont lift thatll be a bummer

Due to covid they are taking in people by appointment. Not sure the time they open, but I was there at 10 AM on Sunday and there was already people getting their nails done. You must wash your hands upon arrival, they disinfect your chair/area before you sit, and they ask that your mask stays on. Prices went a bit higher up, but nothing crazy and for the work the work they do...its no problem. Jesse really put in work.

Very nice place to get my nails done !! Got a pedi and my sister got full set acrylic nails ! Very kind service and okay prices. Just need to constantly remind them you wanted regular and not deluxe. Its beyond hot inside like youll start to sweat. There was so many customers inside for such a small space. Every chair was filled inside. I definitely understand the struggle of customer service and retail but the lady who was assigned to me had the worst attitude. She would slam things against the table or lightly toss them as if she didnt care. I couldnt say for sure if the equipment she used was clean, but they definitely were sterilized or new. Outcome of a full set was disappointing and very expensive.

Got a mani & pedi here. I saw that they closed late so I made an appointment for 8pm. I arrived & I still had to wait another 1hr or so. The lady who did my mani & pedi seemed like she was doing everything so rushed. She made two of my toes bleed :( The nail polish on both my feet & nails were ok. They did not look professional. I dont recommend this place. Dont think Ill ever book an appointment here again.They do take your temperature & ask you to wash your hands once entering to be seated. But everything was so crowded. Lots of people. I feel like they were trying to take as many people as they can

Plan to spend $$.This place is always packed with clients, so if you dont have an appointment, plan to wait. They offer a wide range of services here.Parking is a pain sometimes as there are other businesses in this little plaza and a drive thru Popeyes that people are always madly trying to get into.

Come here for pedicures. Theyre fast and prices are good. They open at 10 but if they get there early they open maybe 10-15 min earlier. They have parking but it is shared with the other shops in the shopping center.

Went there for my first time today since it’s right across the street from my work. Lulu did an amazing job! I’ve never been this happy with a salon before since I’ve moved to California 4 years ago!! I got a full set and it was reasonably priced also for the quality. The front desk woman is also very nice. Excellent service.

Had an appointment but still waited a half hour. Pedicure was rushed and extremely basic, even for $20. Zero calf massage (dude, that’s the best part), a tiny 10 second foot massage. They were slammed so near the end of my pedicure before it was even over someone started changing out the sanitary bag in the tub which was awkward. The lady did a nice job hence the 2 stars, everyone was pleasant. But it’s not remotely worth $20. More like $12, felt like an express pedicure. Would not go back.

I paid and got cateye gel polish 60 for fullset end up paying 134 with pedi and eyebrows they gel polish chipped and fell off the polish faded to quickly I will not be returning for nails here

Good costumer service and clean place. Be prepare to wait at least 30 minutes. I went there for pedicure and manicure $55 which I think is fair, compared to other places. I liked my pedicure but Im not so happy with my gel manicure, they could have done it better. I hope it last, otherwise Im not going back.

Just wanted to stop by and talk about this nail salon it’s absolutely amazing.I’ve been in California three years and every nail shop I have went to has a live acrylic around my fingers I’m scraping it off for three or four days or my cuticles are being cut but this place I had none of that my nails are absolutely perfect and I’ve never had that happen before Peter with my technician and he is absolutely amazing he’s very gentle and very quick thanks Peter I love my nails

Once you walk into Paint + Polish, it felt like home. There is a good vibe and a comfortable atmosphere. The employees are very friendly and provide great customer service. Mary did my pedicure and she made sure i left happy with my service. I would definitely come back again since it is super close for USC students. Recommend!

I love this place so much! I’ve been coming to get my nails done here for the past year & I don’t regret it one bit! They’re so nice & give a discount if you pay cash instead of card. Some of the colors look different than the samples but either way they still look really nice!

I got a gel mani and a regular pedi; she did a wonderful job on both and offered a great color recommendation that I would have never gone for but after nearly a week, it still looks lovely and I am extremely happy with her and her work.

Very busy place but very accommodating to us the customers it helps them and your schedule if you make a call before hand or appointment time for availability of services quality, price and staff very helpful,clean and welcoming. Get there 10-15 minutes early parking is very limited.

I actually love this place. The chairs are nice for pedicures and the nail artists are very precise, but quick. I never felt like I was getting my nails done by a hack and its super affordable. The color choices are AMAZING and they pretty much always offer you water. Make sure you are very specific about the way you want you nails as far as length and shape, because if you arent they just kinda free style it.

Marie did my nails and chatted the whole time, it never felt awkward or forced. She took her time and made sure each nail was perfect. This definitely isnt a spot for a quick mani pedi (a gel design took about an hour and a half), but sometimes you just need to sit down, sip Prosecco, and let LEAPiA work their magic. At $70 its a good deal for high quality nail art, Prosecco, and an overall good experience.

First I am from Miami and I just moved here. Michael did my pedicure and it was horrible. He did not file my toes straight. He put 2 coats of white polish before he applied the tropical blue nail polish. I told him that he didnt need to do that to only apply the blue polish, but he said I would not see it. Now you can see the white polish around the rim of my toes. I have been getting my toes done for years and I have never experience such bad service. I wish I could post a picture so everyone could see. I would never go back.

It’s a clean and friendly atmosphere. The wait wasn’t long at all even though every seat was full when I’d arrived. I was in and out with no problem. There is tv and music playing to relax while you are there.

Will never return. Was completely insulted by their manicurist (I wish I would have gotten her name so that everyone can avoid her). She did a LAZY and SLOPPY job on my manicure. I asked for a square shape on my natural nails, she gave uneven, “rounded” nails. When we finally get to the paint job, she sloppily paints my nails with the first coat. I don’t say anything at first because I wanted to see if the paint job would get better, but it did not. When I mention that the paint job is sloppy, she says I should have chosen another color because the color I chose was “too light” for my complexion. Mind you, the color I chose is the same color I just got on my toes. She starts talking in Korean and then the male manager comes by. I tell him that the manicurist was doing a sloppy job of painting my nails. She then tried to say my nails were damaged which is completely untrue. I tell him I’ll just get a clear coat of polish. She goes to the wall, and brings back a white nail polish, which is completely ironic considering that she thought I was too dark to get OPI’s “Tiramisu for Two”. I tell her again that I’ll just get a clear coat.As soon as she’s done, I grab my things and go to the counter to pay . I tell the lady receptionist about my mani experience. She offered an insincere apology and said I can come back next time and get the polish color I want. Well I’m clearly not coming back, because not only did I not get the manicure I came to get, the manicurist insulted me by saying the polish color I wanted was too light. Why would I ever come back to this raggedy business?!I still made me paid for the manicure I never received.People, especially people of color, DO NOT go to this nail salon. Go anywhere else but here.

Not consistent even when you make an appointment. Its very clean, but they are terrible at their scheduling. Not to mention its really expensive for a gel manicure, that only lasted 8 days. I had a total of three (3) nails completely break by day 9. [My gel manicure usually last between 14-21 days.]

This nail shop is great! Ive been going here for a little over a year now and Im always treated with respect by the nail techs. The only downside is the services seem rushed (even when it isnt busy), especially when doing gel manicures. My gel always chips earlier than two weeks when I dont leave it under the UV light for the allotted time. So I just started leaving my hand under the light until the 60secs is up even with them rushing me to switch hands. They give attitude sometimes but I dont care, haha, Im paying for it so yall gon wait.

I must say, it was my first time here & the people were very attentive. I paid $42 for manicure (gel) & pedicure (reg). You get $2 off if you pay with cash. Definitely will be coming back!

Polish + Paint Nail Beauty Spa is my fav nail salon in the city, hands down!! They do an amazing job taking off shellac without ruining your nails, which I havent been able to find elsewhere in CA. I absolutely love this place and would recommend to anyone! Just def call ahead and make an appt :)

I paid $74 for fill and pedicure (both gel). I pay $50 at my regular place. Just went here because they take appointments and my regular place was way too packed. You would think for such a high price theyd do excellent work. Well Ive only had my nails done for 5 days and all the corners of the acylic are chipped. The nail polish looks like it needs an additional coat. So stingy with the polish! The one who did my nails is Steve. Pedi was done by a very young girl. Not satisfied whatsoever... Definitely not going back
