I love it, 1st-time going, and it wont be the last nail shop kept mess up my nails. They would break two days later, so I would have to come back to get my nails done over, but this was different

The nerve of the hostess to suggest to leave my 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER outside in the hot sun if she is not serviced. She could have said it in many different ways!!! I understand because of Covid! But thats not what she said!

Walked in two weeks ago to ask about pricing and services.. It sounded reasonable so I decided to come in today for full set, however, I didn’t do business with them because my KIDS ARE NOT ALLOWED to wait in seating area. I am a single mom and my kids are in summer vacation and I have no sitter. Never have I experienced this before.. a salon that discriminates children. Maybe they should’ve put a sign at their front door and I wouldn’t had driven 20 minutes to get there. Nevertheless, I’m taking my money somewhere else.

Luxie Nail Spa, is a nice neighborhood nail salon, there are at least 10+ other nail salons in a 10 mile radius from my home, I have patronized most of these at least once or twice, so why did I go back to Luxie, because Ive found an excellent technician at this salon, he is really good, today after two years, I just knew he would be gone, but, nope, I walked in and he worked on my nails today, while he worked his magic, we actual caught up on what happened over my two year absence. I would recommend Luxie Nail Spa, because the facilities are always clean, spacious, and the technicians are friendly, experienced, seeking to please the clients. Most important thing for me is prices, their prices are reasonable for this area.

I went in for a soak off something that I thought was going to be simple inside this lady proceed to yank of my nail and broke my pinky nail when I told her it hurt she just left and went to grab acetone which she should have done in the first place I had explicitly said it was a brand new set that was done 2 days ago how could they be lifting!! Never again.

Nails done by Brian, cost $53 acrylic nails with gel and rainbow chrome, Asian owned nail spa, they do a very good job and the nail tech (Brian) was making sure every step of the way that my nails look correct to mee. The reason why im giving them 4 stars because he didnt push back my cuticles before putting on the acrylic witch will make your nails not last as long, plus one of my nails lifted i fixed it tho, i would recommend this shop and they dont mind how picky you are witch is a plus!!! Looks great for the price!

Horrible service and horrible customer service stay away!

This place is horrible! I asked for an acrylic removal and manicure and ended up in a MASSACRE! They placed me with a lady who first off was rude from the jump. Didnt say hello back to me. Than she was rough AS HELL with my nails, tearing them off like she was on a mission to F me up. I told her she was hurting me until I got fed up. I had to snatch my hand back from her death grip on my fingers. I got up and told the guy up front that I didnt want her to do my nails anymore she was hurting me and tearing my nails off. He made excuses for her and she started yelling something in a foreign language to him. So he said hed do it, he was gentle (because he was nervous AF), but her still tore my whole index & thumb nail off. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, and my cuticles have been buffed quite a few times! I would advise you STAY AWAY FROM Luxies Nail Spa.

Could have done better job

I was getting my nails done and it was a set price and the woman named Jenny kept raising the price. She said small medium and she did them very short and the wrong shape. When I asked her to please remove the tips from my fingers she yanked them instead of putting them in acetone. After I told her it was painful she kicked me out and the man started yelling at me in front of all the people in the salon. She kicked me out and did not remove the tips. My pinky finger burns really bad now. I called the salon to tell them my finger hurts and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it, to call the next day because the manager would be there. They did not apologize for my nails they instead hung up on me.

Ive been to several places to get a decent job on my nails. This has been the only place I absolutely adore.

Do not let you know ahead that they do not take credit. Overcharge for quality and did terrible job with the gel polish, there’s bumps and scrapes all over. Poor attitude. Never going again.

I really love this place... Especially the guy who made them....(I have to find out what his name is).... Super fast and nice...I love the new place even though its not done...But for me it looks wonderful....I like how my nails came out super smooth and the color are beautiful....Lady in frunt help me choose them...Im happy what I paid for...They where nice and always on the lookout...I took my sister in law for the first time and she didnt like the guy who made them...she came out super disappointed...There where messy he didnt want to make them how she wanted them...He made them look fat and not even...Some nails look like they haded bumps...she ask to fix one of her nail the guy was angry that he dint even dry them...the lady who was charging us even agreed and told him to re-fix it...My sister in law dint even want him to fix it because he haded attitude... But true there where horrible...She said she waisted her money..The only thing she like was the lady who did her feets...

She nipped me on my pinky and I started bleeding really bad, and I paid $96 dollars for a gel mani and pedi (not worth the price) gel nail polish thumb already chipping its been only a day. Had me sitting in a weird position to do my nails my back started hurting. Nail tech was too lazy to get up to do my nails. Horrible experience never going back.

Went here first time here October 9th paid 55 +plus tip, for a set of acrylic nails was dissatisfied with the quality I could tell they were going to lift up it’s only been 15 days since and they’re lifting up I can’t run my hands through my hair without the nails catching on them. Won’t go back again. On top of that the guys finger nails were really dirty, that’s unsanitary, they made me wash my hands but apparently not their worker

Never coming back. Showed a 5 color design on my great toe nail before getting nails done and the lady said she could do it. After painting my other toes in the colors I asked it came to do the design on the great toes. The lady said she couldnt do it. I was upset. Then after going back and forth with her because she wanted to do my nails in the color she wanted I asked her lets change the colors similar to my manicure. She didnt want to do it. She insisted in doing it her way. So I just told her leave it the way it is Im leaving because thats why I showed you a picture.By this time I had a headache trying to explain and understand her. To top it off she only discounted $5 for the design when she had said it was $10 extra for design.

They don’t do a very good job with their pedicures and manicures. the point of them is to remove the dead skin and cuticles and leave your hands and/or feet soft as well. but in order to successfully do all that, your feet/ hands need to soak in warm water at least 10 mins to soften everything up and make the process easier. what i am trying to get at is, when i went to treat myself for my birthday, they didn’t even remove any dead skin or cuticles. they just put my feet and hands in water for a few seconds then filed my nails down just a little, dried them and painted my nails. it was $50 for my hands and feet just to be wet and painted. never again, not going back.

He is so polite and he always makes a conversation with me I went again for my birthday and it was again amazing service everyone is nice and i will definitely be going to prom it has great prices and quality and they are ALL kind. I will be taking my sister there for her first time in getting nails also I know they will do great !

If youve had a bad experience maybe it was because you were being a rude customer, being where this shop is they have to have Tiffany skin, they bring a relaxing environment to watts and sometimes b****s get ignorant so they have to set there limits for how far they are willing to go. I LOVE LOVE Louis, Kathy and Nena. If Louis isnt available John is next if Mens isnt available Michelle is good. And no Im not from watts but Im a regular here.

Not a good experience. I walk in one person ahead of me. 2 ladies came in for pedicure. They took them right away. I didnt say anything because i was waiting for one nail repair so i thought maybe there are different people working just for pedicures. But when a family of 3 walked in for nails and pedicure and they were placed ahead of me. 40 min wasted. I got the picture loud and clear. The customer spending the most money get priority. When did customers stop being valued? Especially when your spending hard earned money. Anyway I went to TJ nails in lynwood. Took me in right away. Out in 10 min flat. One nail. No time wasted. I know i will never!!! Go to Luxie Nail again..

And work is always courteous and fast. That Salon is clean and well-managed.

My nails were done on Saturday May 25th and by Tuesday the nail by my cuticle was a big lump on 8 of 10 nails. I went back and John was assigned to correct his own work. He was angry and suggested I just wanted a free fill. I told him I didn’t need him to fill my nails I just needed him to remove the extra near my cuticles. He then proceeded with a nail clipper to take off all of the extra nsil by my cuticles which then necessitated a fill. Then he snatched my hand, I stood up, went to the manager and told him that John could no longer work with me. They did get someone else to finish the job in correctly. I gave the poor score because of John’s poor work in the beginning and failure to correct this problem with good customer service.

Bad service. I took my cousin to get her first set of acrylic ever, she already had an idea how she wanted them since shes going to graduate in a few days but the guy kept on telling her not that way, theyll look better how hell do then. Therefore he took advantage that she was young so he can do any shape and any design he wanted. Also, he was in such a hurry that he cut her 4 times and he finished doing her nails in 15 min! Ive never had my nails done in 15 min! The acrylic was a bubbly and he didnt even leave them the same size! She hated them because they werent how she had in mind! Extremely disappointed! & the prices are too high for their work!!

So..... i started going here over a year ago before i was pregnant (nov 2017) to a girl named Aubry (whom after this fiasco i will be tracking down). Seeing as I had such a great experience When Aubry i decided to what i thought was a great shop for nails. I ordered it gel manicure and a French tip nail Polish pedicure. While i was making convo with Mina who did an amazing job on my toes my armrest started being beaten and a cart yanked thru the small space between the pedicure techs. After i realized she must have business shes handling( be it she was just seemingly demolishing a thousand dollar plus spa chair or just unhappy with me her paying client when i hadnt even had the opportunity to process who she was) i asked her if she was doing my mani and she just looked at me and gave me the chrome gel swatches.The nail technician was EXTREMELY inexperienced. Id say unprofessional but i dont blame her with the environment shes working in. I dont even know her name shr never introduced herself but i asked her how long shes been doing nails she told me herself she just got out of school. I asked where her license was and never actually saw it so i guess that takes a lot of figuring out. I asked for one of the chrome polishes and she told me that was extra and took them from me then gave me the cheap ones... She over filed my nails with a used e file so when the gel was applied i have ridges now. My cuticles were never pushed back only cut with the cuticle nipper that she sanitized with alcohol. Yes, alcohol. Mina told me hers were put in disinfectant but after the nail bits i saw on the nail techs nail trimmers and cuticle nippers i think thats a lie.In any case my nail started chipping over the weekend. I went back today less than 72 hours later with my 6 month old daughter just so i could let management know about the ridges she put into my nails, the cuticle not being pushed back and thr lifting and chipping that was going on with my mani.I asked for management and an asian man with orange highlights began to speak with me. I showed him my nails and told him i just wanted to make him aware and that i would deal with it for this week because i had my daughter with me and my son at home im not able to sit for a manicure at the moment but i planned to come back n the future n just wanted him to make things right.He told me to sit down now and that they would fix the 1 out of 10 nails. I reminded him that i had my daughter in my arms and that i dont want her exposed to the chemicals so again i could not get them fixed right then but that i could come back this weekend or n 2 weeks when im due for another mani.This orange haired gentleman tried to tell me that someone else put ridges in my nails or that i was responsible for thr ridges in my nails. I just had babies 6 months ago. I NEVER wore anything more than polish when i was pregnant and i maintained my own nails. All i ever did was clip them and file the free edge. Never the nail bed. I havent had a mani or pedi in literally over a year since i went to aubry in nov. 2017. He then began to tell me that i just came to complain and that they werent going to do anything about the damage they did to my nails.Now... i thought to call the california state board of cosmetology and inform them that they are reusing e files, they are cutting peoples feet with cuticle nippers, they are not sanitizing the plastic caps the use on the spa chairs, they are NOT using the right kind of glue for eyelashes, their clean bins are SOILED!!!!!!! However as a cosmetologist ive learned that in this life some times we can be outright MORONS and everyone deserves a chance and i wouldnt want state board called on me when im hustling or working trying to feed my kids.FYI they DONT do dip powder at the end of the day i paid 50 for damaged nails, chipped lifting gel and a french tip n nail polish. At least Mina deserved her tip.

If I could rate them a 0 I would!!! HORRIBLE customer service. They overcharged me by almost $20 and when I went back the next day they said I shouldve noticed it when they gave me the receipt. Ever since they changed the management a couple years ago its never been the same. I will NEVER go back there to get my nails done!l and Im definitely spreading the word.

I got a pedicure with 2 acrylic nails on both of my big toes on the 6th of October ..here it is October the 23rd why did my acrylic nails come off with my real nails attached to them so now i dont have any nails on both of my toes (((smfh ))) Never again
