Nightmare Hell-scape. Long waits. While I was there one customer found a DEAD RAT in their vehicle, shortly afterward another customer came in saying the car he had just rented broke down two blocks away. After all of this and a long wait to be helped I asked for a refund on my pre-paid rental and they refused to refund me. A disgusting place, with nasty, unreliable vehicles and unbelievably rude customer service.

Rented a car from here and it completely broke down in the desert (total power failure). I called this location right away to see how they would handle this to which the manager said he had never seen anything like this, we need to handle this ourselves, and began to belittle me while explaining the law of supply and demand. My friend had to call AAA towing and pay out of pocket where we were taken to a separate location that only decided to help us after our tow man told them they needed to help us. When we returned the car, the manager did not apologize or say ANYTHING even remotely friendly to us(did not even greet us). I will say, however, one of his employees did apologize to us and was compassionate. Word of advice to the manager - go to therapy.

The car reservation and pick up was smooth. When I got the car, the gas tank was half full. Ive asked if its normal and the agent told me just to bring the car back with the same amount of fuel. After I dropped off the car I got a receipt by email showing gas changes for the full tank. They charged 10$ per gallon, which added extra 80$ to my total bill. I called Hertz customer service, which carefully explained me that this is my problem now. Apparently when picking up the car I had to open a claim online stating that I got only half the tank. And since I didnt do it they cant do much about it now. Seriously?!I also noticed in the receipt that I drove 300 miles, while I barely used the car. Very disappointing!

Carlos was the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life ! I reserved a luxury vehicle 4 weeks in advance for my anniversary. When I got to the location Carlos and Anthony saw me walk in and did not say anything. When I walked up to the counter Carlos told me to step away from the counter before he call the police. ( I was standing where they marked for the 6 feet). Might I add neither Carlos nor Anthony had on a mask. After they decide it was time to help me, I over heard a conversation between the two of them stating I dont look like i could afford the rental and Im going to runway with the car and go to jail. ( the conversation was in Spanish) I guess they thought I couldnt understand them. I was in such shock that these employees would say those things about someone they did not know. I am disappointed in Hertz because these are the people they employ. DO BETTER HERTZ ! ... DO BETTER

On the day of the rental, I waited for more than an hour to be able to pickup the vehicle, only to receive a vehicle I did not select. The sales associate told us that they were extremely busy today and that there was only one vehicle left in the lot. Since the sales associate was overly busy, he did not do a proper inspection of the car at the parking lot, because he had no time for us.In the parking lot of the rental, we noticed a few ants in the vehicle. After we continued driving, we noticed more and more ants were in the vehicle. When we were hours outside of Los Angeles, we discovered that the car was completely infested with ants, and multiple chains of ants that were coming out of the car ventilation fans and under the leather interior. It was a huge amount of ants infested in the car, making the car unsafe to be rented out. Furthermore, since the sales assistant told us there were no other vehicles available anymore, we knew that if we would have driven the car back, we would not have received a replacement.On the return date, August 8th, the sales assistant at that time did not take my claim of ants seriously. He was again too busy for us, and did not bother to properly inspect the car and the infestation.After this point, Hertz took advantage of my situation by claiming that I made scratches to the bumper and the door too. They accused me of these damages and the ants, and I felt they just wanted to me fix the car completely. Please do not rent from Hertz, they clearly dont care about the customer.

I booked a rental vehicle online for the price of a small sedan. After spending the time walking to the location, when I arrived and stepped up to the counter, the man assisting me tells me they dont have the car I reserved. I said: That is fine I will take what you have available. The man says: We only have the SUVs available but you will have to pay the difference. I reserved the vehicle because of the price they offered me on line. I have been to enterprise with this same situation and they always honor the price reserved no matter what vehicle they give to their customer. Guess that is why I will stick with Enterprise!I left and went to enterprise.I only gave 1 star because I had to.

One star for the guy there being nice. I called reservations days before to make sure I was set to go on payment method, called the location an hour before pick-up to confirm my reservation and double-confirm that I was set to go with my payment method. I arrive and am told that the policy I was told over the phone was no longer valid and that they were no longer able to honor my reservation because it was a same day change. Didn’t have my credit card on me so i was stuck with 0 options thanks to their misinformation(unless I got an Uber to and from my house to get my credit card- which I don’t like to use for security reasons). The guy was pretty cool and talked to his manager trying to help me out. Still ended up leaving without a car but Enterprise one block over took me without a reservation and had me in a vehicle within 10 mins! Go there!

Excellent service.I was in a bind after another Hertz location left me without a car and rude service. I called Mike at Hertz and he was understanding, incredibly helpful, and did whatever he could to sort out my mess. In fact, all the staff was great. Mike was able to honor the rate I received from another location and help get me into a vehicle of my choosing. His service and rapport was exceptional. The car they gave me was clean, in great condition, and delightful to drive. I’m thankful for Mike and the rest of this Hertz location for providing above and beyond service. They made my stay in LA more enjoyable, and my business travels more comfortable. Thanks guys! I’ll be back.

Dont believe their hours...they close at SIX PM! NOT SEVEN PM! I arrived at 6:03pm and was turned away, now I am on the hook for another day of using this rental car that I dont need! What a coincidence that I would arrive minutes after they have closed the gate, just in time for them to tell me to my face that they dont care about their hours posted on Google. What a shame, I expected much better customer service from Hertz. FYI: the vast majority of the people mapping to your establishment are searching for you on Google. This is the face of your franchise, whether you would like to acknowledge it or not. Punishing your long time customers because you have failed to maintain your online image, and what ultimately amounts to a simple misunderstanding is poor business! Im very disappointed in the way this was handled by the employee I spoke to.

As a Hertz Platinum member you can have someone under 25 pick up your vehicle and you can swap it out anytime even in a different location(done it many times never had an issue). I picked up a car at lax and wanted to exchange it at this location, when I got there they didn’t want to exchange it saying I was under 25 and they had the audacity to tell me I’m not on the contract! I asked to speak to the manager and it just got worse, she was rude and said same thing, I asked her to pull up the contract so she can see for herself that my name was on there but she refused(it all starts with a bad team leader). 2 days later I called Hertz corporate explained to them what happened, the rep called the location explained to them as per Hertz policy they were required to exchange my vehicle and told me to go back and they will swap it. When I went back the same person was there and once again refused to exchange my car!!! Apparently they don’t respect they’re own policies!

I just wanted to start off by saying Enterprise down the street was just horrible and no help. I called Hertz and wow, what a difference down to the customer service! I wanted to acknowledge William for the amazing customer service he provided! Ive never felt so good from beginning to end. He truly is a good star in my mind. Amber, the manager has the most amazing team. Amber goes above and beyond to make sure that her customers are served properly and are happy.I am participating in the Lyft Hertz program. My first car, the brakes went out. I had the car towed and was without a car for the weekend therefore not able to make any money. I went in on Tuesday, it was the holiday Labor Day weekend so they were closed on Monday. Well one of her associates told me I would have to pay for the car anyway even though the brakes went out on me while exiting the freeway. I was almost killed and was livid that I would have to pay. Amber heard the whole thing and sorted it out immediately. She got me into another car and I was able to make payment on a properly working vehicle. The staff here is amazing and they go above and beyond to please the customer. I want to thank Amber for her kind assistance and understanding. The best manager EVER!

Terrible!!! I arrived before 7p only to be told that they were closed and the hours posted on google were incorrect and I was forced to stand out in the cold because they had to lock up. You would think that since they are already aware that this is an issue they would fix the problem but unfortunately they don’t care enough about their customers. Be prepared to pay for an extra day of rental if you do happen to go by the hours posted on Google and arrive late because that’s not their problem.

Had a great experience renting from them (got a great deal from AAA, who waive the underage fee). They worked with me to get the car I wanted and allowed me to drop off the car an hour late with no additional charge. Upon drop off, Nillie (or Millie?) was very professional, friendly, and made me feel like a truly valued customer. I highly recommend this location - they have a large variety of SUVs and I didnt see too many compacted, so you might get lucky and get a normal sized car or SUV.

If I could give them no stars I would. I had a reservation and the service was so incompetent that I waited almost 40 minutes and they had only helped 2 people. There were no lines, no place to drop keys, just a counter with monitors with 3 people working but they would just leave and then there would be one person, and then sometimes two. I left with no car. Couldnt take itThe place was filthy, I felt like I was in an unemployment office or something. Just funky. It seemed everyone was having trouble with their cards, but instead of helping someone else while the customer figured out their problem the guy would just sit there. At one point the one person who was helping someone took off.It was like an odd play, existential....I am now going to go out to Burbank to rent from Avis because I couldnt stand it anymore. I could have been there all afternoon!! While in line everyone was praising Enterprise and the only reason none of us were there is that they were closed on Sunday. But it got to be like an Enterprise commercial - they should have been filming. This place was as awful an experience as I have ever had renting a car

But most likely no matter who you talk to, you will get wishy washy answers. My stomach hurts after talking to both people I spoke with. The worst rental car store, after spending some time on paperwork and moving all my stuff from my car to the rental I asked the Manager William Fortenberry to follow me to the body shop so I could drop my car off. First he asked if I would give him a ride back, at first I said no because I had an appointment to go to. Since I had no other option then I agreed to drop him off, at this point he said he couldnt do it because the body shop was too far, we would literally driven 2.5 miles, but I guess he was not in the mood. A total waste of time, so I had to move all my stuff back to my car and when I asked him for a copy of a void transaction on my credit card, he refused to give it to me. Please look at all their reviews before you set foot at this place, they are all bad reviews, wouldnt recommend it to anybody!!!

This place was definitely beyond busy and when originally introducing myself and my purpose to rent a vehicle for the Lyft program I was sensing the tension but understandably so as it was near closing time and the amount of customers still being tend to was immense but quickly I was told the wait would be about an hour (no complaints I was expecting that being a late walk in) so I grabbed a bite up the street and returned to the pleasant surprise I was next and the rental process took about 10-15 minutes and I was on my way!

Ive rented from this location before, as it typically has the best value of all the other nearby Hertz locations after running a comparison of prices between various different Hertz locations.Unfortunately, this location is small, typically understaffed, and my past rental took an extended amount of time to pick up and return. For both picking up and returning there was only 1 staff member, 1 maintenance personnel, and Lyft was running some promotion which was backlogging their processing time.Overall, I will rent from here again, but be wary of its small location, and high potential of being understaffed or having to wait extra time to be processed for checking in or out.

Walked in, got a great car $25/day (as opposed to the $60/per day at the airport) and our representative Mechelin (sorry if I spelt name incorrect) let us know that we could get a better deal if we booked it online. She picked us up the next morning to get the car and returned it at airport.Down to earth, helpful, great service! We will definitely be back again and again!

Ive used this location multiple times for extended rentals. The manager and one young lady in particular always seemed the most knowledgeable and provided amazing customer service. If a car class wasnt in stock, they would upgrade me to next level. They arent pushy about up selling and anytime I had a question about pricing/extra charges they would address the issue and solve the problem. Most of the time by calling the main office an having unnecessary extra/additional charges removed. Just a heads up. This location has a very small lot with only 20-30 cars and they do not have a Hert Gold Counter. Its always best to call ahead or make an online reservation. Call the Gold Counter phone number to make the reservation and use points.

The location was closed in both cases but I spoke with people at the central location.Both times someone took all my info, and said they would email the confirmation.Never got a confirmation, I figure maybe they didnt write down my email right? Keep up the good job guys....although there was a black lady that seemed a lil obnoxious. Job matters and employee matters should never be infront of customers. If you have a problem with a fellow employee, pull him or her to the complete side with a manager and go from there. Never infront of customers.

Im a President Circle member (meaning that I rent from Hertz all over the world anywhere from 40-50 times per year). I have rented from this particular location 10-15 times. Never again.First, this is a franchise location so dont expect the typical Hertz service -- not even close. The location is extremely understaffed by what seems to be undertrained and unpaid (at least from their appearances) employees. More often than not, you will spend an inordinate amount of time waiting in their dirty lobby (how about mopping the floors once in a while or putting some decent furniture in there???). More than 90% of time, you will get a car that does not have a full tank of gas or has been poorly cleaned (lately they have been renting cars with more than 30,000 miles on them). Over the years, Ive watched them pray on foreign tourists who dont seem to realize what they are being sold. I tolerated this junky experience because I was loyal to Hertz (they have a great frequent renter program) and this location is relatively close to my home. No more.Today, my partner reserved a car at this location. It was supposed to be a Toyota 4-Runner or similar. When we showed up, they pointed us to a Nissan Rouge Clearly not the same or even similar. We asked if we could get the Ford Explorer on the lot and the young female customer service agent (who was actually very nice) called over her manager (Meshlan or Mashlan). Meshlan told us that it would be more than $100 more to upgrade. We looked online on Hertz own website and saw that it could be reserved for only $50 more than what we reserved. When we asked her if she would honor the online rate she said no. When we told her that wed just book it online, she said I will not honor that reservation or give you that rate... When we confronted on her snotty attitude she replied yeah, so... (no kidding). We walked out.I then called Hertz customer service and was referred to their loyalty department. I requested the someone call me back and the agent (Yolanda) told me that an area manager would be calling. Never happened.This might be acceptable if Hertz was a discount rental car company. It isnt. In fact, almost universally, its the most expensive rental company out there. So, in the end, your actually paying a premium for crappy service and cars. Avoid this business if you are able to do so.

Ive ALWAYS rented from Enterprise & most recent years Avis. Due to pricing options I ended up renting from Hertz, I paid in advance and reserved a Toyota Corolla (or something comparable). I ended up with some sort of gas guzzling Mazda Minivan, where the horn and charger outlet did NOT WORK (super fun to have a dYing phone when you need gps and trying to beep at crazy drivers). I had to drive all the way to the airport in the hopes of getting what I asked for as: NO 1 ANSWERS the phone at this location and apparently theres no central system where anyone at hertz can actually help you.Now in regards to this nightmare location specifically: WHO IS THE MANAGER!? This place is SO HORRIBLY RUN! You will wait a minimum of 1hr to pickup or drop off, regardless of the day and amount of staff on site. Its a cluster f**k here. You will sit here and watch the staff do NOTHING, phones ringing to no avail and witness staff asneering their personal cell phones whole theyre 10 ppl waiting (currently what Im doing). I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend anyone rent from this location and if this location is a representation of the organization DONT ever use hertz. Just pay more and go somewhere else.

The hours on Friday are from 7:00AM - 7:00PM. I returned the car at 6:00PM. The office was closed.On Saturday the hours are from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. I was there at 3:00. I was told by two employees walking out the gate that the office was closed. They did so rudely and giving no thought to the customer. Never renting from here again.

2 hour wait in line to get a prepaid car that I was overcharged for. Never again at this location. They also just let their phone ring. No one ever attempts to answer it. I called the 800 number about an overcharging issue and he tried to call the location, but no one answered. Hertz sent the manager an email to call me and in ever heard from anyone.
