The office is well-organized and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lily did a wonderful job with my cleaning and she is very knowledgeable. I had to have two fillings and Dr. Drake did a wonderful job. I appreciate his attention to detail and quality of work.

Going to the dentist always gives me anxiety. I saw the hygienist lily and she was very careful and gentle with me. She did a great job explaining how to further take care of my teeth. Dr drake did my exam and I explained to him the bad experience I previously had with my last dentist. My bite was still off from before, he did a minor adjustment and fixed my problem! I felt listened to and cared for. I highly recommend park west!

I have had the opportunity to have been treated by several dentists here in Idaho falls and a number of dentists back east. Dr. Jacobson has put together a team that I have not found before and frankly didnt think existed. Very professional. Courteous. They give you all the time you need to ask questions or share concerns. Dr. Jacobson is one heck of a dentist. Now, many dentists are, but he has passion. And that I think is the difference. Easy to talk with, he truly has your care and health priority one. State of the art equipment sure gives one peace of mind. I hand approximately 8 teeth pulled and elected for the sedation. Best choice I ever made! Before I knew it, I was on my way home! Never felt a thing. Thanks Dr. Jacobson. Thanks for all your studies, keeping up on the latest technology that ultimately makes for a relaxing dental experience for me and others.

Made appointment for 89 year old mother to fix tooth and get teeth cleaned while she was there. They cleaned teeth but would not fix tooth because they want 1/2 down before they will schedule it... did not say that when I scheduled the appointment.... so even when you are going to pay in full they wont fix you tooth. THIS IS HORRIBLE SERVICE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! After the Owner Responce... paid 100% and said i would pay 100% when done... they would NOT schedule unless 50% paid days before you were going to do anything... My guess you hope people cant make it and you can keep the money without any service. Shameful!

I went in for some work on me teeth. They new my insurance plan because they had to look it up when they did my husband and my cleaning. When I was getting a root canal they asked if I wanted to do the crown at the same time I said it depended on how much it would be. He went back and came back out and said about $700. I said okay perfect let’s do it all today. A month later I get a bill for $2000. From that appointment. I called and asked about it they said they would call me back and I never got a call. I called 3 week later after I got another bill for $2000 and the girl on the phone was walking me around in circles. I told her I’ve already contacted insurance I’ve already been threw all that then she tells me that they didn’t know my plan and maybe that’s why. I told her that she had already looked it up when we had the cleanings shortly before the other work. I’m switching dentist. They knew what they were doing. Going from $700 to $2000 is not okay and it is not what was agreed upon when I had the work done. Would never go back and wouldn’t recommend anyone here.

I had tooth pain for a couple days. We’re visiting for the summer and so I had to choose a dentist to look at my tooth. I based my choice on the google reviews. I am so grateful to those who reviewed this practice. Dr. Jacobson was very patient and skilled and took almost 2 hours to care for me, I have a bad infection and had to have a root canal. If I lived in Idaho Fall, this would be my dentist office.Payment options were offered, insurance was filed, I was only charged the balance of the bill my insurance didn’t cover. No surprises. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr Jacobson is awesome! He and his dental hygienists are so nice, friendly, and welcoming! But don’t expect to be greeted with so much as a hello. The front desk receptionists ( the two I’ve met) come across as standoffish and rude. They don’t greet you first like a receptionist should and they act like you’re an inconvenience to them. However, don’t let their unfriendly receptionists stop you from coming in to see Dr Jacobson. He and his team make it all worth it!

The denturist was extremely rude and refused to fix the dentures he made after several trips back and forth from Rigby the dentures were ill fitting and made sores in my mouth. He said I would have to get used it and use salt water rinses I had to get a new set made Do not waste your money. I can’t wear them

This was my 1st time at park West. The staff was very friendly they got me in quickly. The doctor gave me multiple options to fix my tooth. The doctor recommended one over the other and gave me the reasons why he did. I appreciate the honesty, and he put a temporary filling in to get me through the holidays until I figure things out. Over all it was a great experience.

This was my first cleaning with Park West Dental. The team was wonderful. They explained every procedure fully and also the cost. Dr. Drake examined the teeth and X-rays then explained that in the future several things would need to be done. He explained procedure and price. I can plan for the care.

I had a great experience with Park West. I had a filling fall out and they were able to get me in very quickly, they were friendly and efficient, and my new filling feels great! When I felt a slight pain from the drilling I raised my hand and they immediately stopped to let the anesthetic further numb me, and adjusted the suction when I said I was having some cold sensitivity in my other teeth from it. They allowed me to stop several times and rest my jaw when I needed it, and readjusted the bite block for my comfort as needed. They answered my questions and were very helpful in deciding the best course of action for this visit. Ill probably be back, this was one of the best dentist office experiences Ive had!

I was on vacation in the Idaho Falls area and had a dental emergency. I spoke to one of the dentists and was told to come in and they would fit me into the schedule. When I arrived, the receptionist already knew to expect me. I was in an exam room within fifteen minutes. My dental emergency was fixed successfully and I was on my way within a short amount of time. I was very pleased and impressed with all the staff that I interacted with.

I have some problems with my teeth that I didn’t know about and both the assistant and the doctor explained everything to me very thoroughly in a way that was easy for me to understand and not frighten me. Billing was very kind in figuring out my insurance and if it would cover everything in one go or two. In short they actually care. Would definitely recommend!

We are so incredibly happy with our experience with Dr Jacobson and Park West dental! I took my daughter in for a consultation on a lip tie - and Dr. Jacobson was able to do the procedure right away. It would be hard to imagine any improvement in the experience I received at Park West Dental Care yesterday. I am new to the area and badly needed to get my teeth cleaned. Im so happy that I finally found a great dentist! For the first time ever, Im not terrified of my dentist appointments, & the cleanings are very pleasant! Im especially thrilled about not having to be numbed before cavity removal now with the laser! I was thrilled by how easy & painless it was, & thrilled that I didnt have to worry about a fat lip feeling while waiting for a numbing shot to wear off!It made it so much easier to go back to my regular normal life as soon as I left the office!EDIT 6/11/2019:I still love this place! This dental practice is great! Dr. Drake is very gentle and professional and all of the dental techs are super (Janet is my favorite). This week I had pockets of bacteria removed in all four quadrants of my mouth and a filling fixed. It sounded like it was going to be a bad two and a half hours, but I was quite comfortable and pain free. TV and nitrous oxide=no worries. I highly recommend Park West Dental!

I have been told by dentists in the past that my gums were receding and I would have to have surgery someday to fix it. I was never offered any kind of treatment option. The wonderful staff at Park West Dental offered an alternative - Periodontal root scaling and Cleaning. I have never heard of it before. After one treatment, my gums are healing up and the recession is not progressing. The staff are all very competent and friendly.

The quality of the dentists, dental hygienists, and support staff are far superior to those Ive encountered elsewhere. I went in for a cleaning, which was very thorough, and Dr. Jacobson spotted several fillings that needed fixing along with a tooth that was starting to crack (eek!). I feel confident that my teeth are in much better hands now that Im back at Park West Dental.

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Drake. Im new to the state, had a semi-emergency, and was seen really quickly. The appointment required tissue biopsy and Dr. Drake handled this extremely stressful situation, very well and delicately. He called the evening of my appointment to check on me and again as soon as he received the lab results. I was never rushed and I enjoyed the warm professionalism that I received.

I have been a patient at this dentist office for over 40 years. I was a patient with the previous dentist at the previous location. You never know what a change will bring but I have had work done by both of the current dentist and a number of their staff. It is a larger office and they are very timely with the appointments. I currently live a couple hours out of town but continue to use this office for all of my dental needs. Yes, I recommend this dental practice.

We were traveling through Idaho Falls when we were in need of dental services for an emergency. Going only by their website we chose PWDC. Everything on their website is completely true! They were friendly, caring, accommodating and exceptionally competent! They worked us in at 7am and the cost was very reasonable. We recommend them without hesitation. As a matter of fact we would use them as our family dentist if we didnt more than a thousand miles away.

We love Park West Dental Care- the staff and Dentists are great. We especially like Dr. Drake. Our 4 yr old had to have cavities filled twice- we didnt have him floss well enough- and the experience was great both times. Once with the needles and numbing. It didnt even hurt. Best of all, when our son brushes and flosses now he likes us to practice using Mr. Bumpy and Mr. Whistle just like Dr. Drake did. The second cavity filling they used the laser and it was very fast and it turned out great! Dr Drake also replaced a crown for my husband. Park West doesnt do one-day crowns, only high quality ones! The hygienists and staff are all very knowledgeable and address all our concerns.

I am always satisfied when I go to see Dr. Drake. The Dental Hygienists are thourough and make sure you leave with next to no tartar on your teeth and Dr. Drake always takes the time to answer any questions you have as far as maintenance of your mouth is concerned. Very professional staff and warm staff, overall. I really feel like Dr. Drake has my best interest at heart as a patient.Lets be real here. Our teeth break down as we age no matter how well we take care of them. But whats great about Dr. Drake is that he has integrity and wants you to get the best mileage as possible out of your teeth. My wife and I trust him. And when something goes wrong with our mouth (it will eventually) well know where to go.

I felt a cold sore coming on and I was able to get an appointment right away. They were quick and the procedure was painless. Almost 3 days after the onset cold sore and it is now almost gone. Not only do they have great technology for dental work but also for problems outside the mouth. Its by far the best dentist office Ive ever been to and I will definitely be going back in the future

I am completely satisfied with my experience with Dr Drake and his wonderful staff. I enjoy my cleanings again. The billing department is very accommodating for us, tailoring the payments to fit our budget.

Again, the staff was so professional. My favorite technician Janet, was out, so Essie (sp?) took over and she was gentle, fast, and thorough with the cleaning. Even the polisher was gentle with the flossing. Dr. Drake was great as usual.

A lot of previous dentist and physicians that Ive used in the past seem to not care about seeing right at the time your appointment is scheduled for. Park West is really good about seeing me right when I arrive, even when I arrive early. That means a lot for me.One unique thing about this dental office is the tools that they use to educate their patients about their health. Dr. Jacobson and his dental hygienist both used several videos, as well as pictures of my teeth, to explain what I needed to work on, treatments they recommended, and what I was doing right. I definitely learned something new about what dentists do on my visit!Ive been going here for almost 2 years now, and they follow up with questions from previous visits and keep good notes from previous visits to give long-term recommendations. I have been pretty happy!

My hygienist and Dr. Drake are fantastic. I have had an issue with my jaw popping lately and I never really brought it up because I didnt really have the money to deal with something like a surgery, but it was acting up at my last visit. They explained that its super normal and the way to treat it is actually pretty simple and very common in females. It was super relieving to know, so Im on my way to have a popless jaw!

I am always nervous going to the dentist but the hygienist was gentle and for the first time I had a pain free cleaning and check up.

Had a very long appointment by design to get everything completed at one time. Great work completed in a very professional manner. No problems ever encountered at Park West Dental. I recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Finally! We were giving up on dental care in IF and then I tried one more time, and so very glad I gave this wonderful dental team a chance to show that they can indeed make life easier. They fit me right in, and EVERYONE, from the receptionist, dental hygienist, and dentists themselves was so kind and professional. They are efficient, low pressure on extra work, nonjudgmental, and extremely flexible with payment options. So glad our family now has a permanent dentist!

The staff is excellent. Very thorough and they take the time to explain everything. There was a mixup and I was going to be late to work but they worked with me and I got there. Great family friendly environment!
