One of the employees here was a little rude to me telling me that before I can use the gym i would have to transfer my home gym here.... Ive traveled to 30 locations across the us while traveling and never had this issue. But it still gets a 5 star from me because the location is nice. Only 24 hour location in the city and In a safe neighborhood. Gym itself is nice with good showers. Shower is a little rusty and could use new fixtures. Gym goers were nice and social though. Attractive people here

Planet Fitness is a great place to work out. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The place is clean and pleasing to look at. I love the way the machines and equipment are spaced out perfectly!!! You dont feel crowded in any way.I highly recommend this place.

It says open 24 hours but was told you close at 10pm, I got so excited that you guys went back to normal hours again! Haha

My particular gym is bigger than others I have been to. But in pandemic times I am REALLY grateful that my gym put up plexiglass between the treadmills. PF has made it a point to keep its patrons safe. THANK YOU!!!!

The place is well run. There are a number of options for your work out. Also it is not too crowded.

The staff is friendly and always smiles. And - they take time to keep the equipment clean.

This equipment since 2 weeks ago that they do not fix it.

As of today I’m done with this gym.I pay a black card membership so I can go with my sister (who’s 16)We got a notarized letter and submitted it. And they never seem to have it on file. And it’s always the days when it happens to not be in my car that they need it. It’s very inconvenient to drive half an hour out just to be turned away when I pay for a membership, because of their mistake.they have better equipment at other gyms, coupons for treadmills on amazon, don’t bother with them.

I love it here. Everythings very clean and spacious and the employees are nice! I have anxiety and its nice that nobody approaches me including the employees when Im there.

Some much to love here...great staff, clean, super affordable, get a lot for your money!! I really like the red light therapy they offer here for black card members ($20 monthly membership). The only thing missing here is rowing machines.

This place has a great location and is clean! If anyone there reads this, PLEASE GET ROWING MACHINES! That’s the one thing they’re missing that a few other places I’ve been to have that I’d love! Other than that, no complains. Staff is always friendly, it’s clean, I feel safe there with COVID with social distancing.

I have been working out here for a few years now. I’ve noticed this location has slipped significantly. Machines often go 2-3 months without being fixed. Since the start of 2021 this has been an increasing issue. There are at 10-15 machine constantly out of order. Water fountain seems to be constantly in and out of use. With the amount of people that go here this increase wait times on many machines. Machine maintenance in general is poor as many aren’t lubricated. I worry some inexperienced gym goers may get injured due to these problems. They could really use some help maintaining their gym as it seems like more and more people are complaining about these problems. Hopefully it will change soon.

So grateful this location is open 24 hours during weeknights (normal closing hours Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and that the overnight crew is super chill. Just happy to have somewhere to work out after I get out of my job. THANK YOU.

I have been trying to cancel my membership ever since I lost my job back before Thanksgiving because I knew that I was no longer able to afford to pay for it and they were in no means allowing me to cancel via phone. I told them I no longer live anywhere close to the gym and unable to get there to cancel. This experience will remind me to never join a gym again.

Pretty decent gym for the price, and one of the better PF locations Ive been to. Equipment is pretty new, the place is big, and the patrons mostly behave themselves. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is that they need more bench presses or need to put a time limit on them, as they are never available.Edit: since I cant respond to the response, let me add that I usually go during off-peak hours, so the crowdmeter doesnt help. They simply need more bench presses (they only have 4) or a time limit. Ive been there for 3 hours before and have seen the same person at the same machine.

A friendly, helpful staff and a clean environment add up to a great experience overall. Ive seen some members that go through the gym using multiple machines and equipment rapidly without cleaning them afterwards. During this pandemic it is wild to me that there are people behaving like this (especially considering that there is always disinfectant provided somewhere nearby, no matter where you are within the gym) but there will always be someone somewhere misbehaving. Its unavoidable.I understand that its impossible to keep an eagles eye view on every person working out, and the one time I did taddle on someone, the employee immediately went over and handled the situation. Not only that but he seemed to WANT to do this for me and the club. The understanding shown to me and the immediate action taken was impressive and appreciated.All of this combines into an atmosphere of respect and healthy living, and the care extended to me makes me feel like Im not just another number on the bankroll, but a valued member.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing a place to safely and affordably improve the quality of life for me and my special lady. We couldnt be happier with our experience in your gym, and thanks to your business we are both in the best shape of our lives. Please, keep up the great work and you have members for life.Only suggestion I can really think of is to PLEASE provide a news station other than FOX. Please.... lol.

The place itself was nice however I did not like the fact that I was forced to leave the property because I am a truck driver and the property manager did not want me parked with my reefer trailer on. I would like to kindly remind that property manager that I was a paying customer at Planet Fitness and I refuse to be fat like some of the other truck drivers out there. I got a family at home too and I am a human being just like everybody else. I did not appreciate the way the guy banged on my door like I was some homeless guy that dont work for a living. The lady at Planet Fitness was the one that told me that I could park my big truck and my 53 foot trailer in the parking lot as long as I wasnt park in a red curb blocking the fire department. If I would of known the property manager was going to give me problems and force me to leave the property, I would of never had went here in the first place and I would of been 1,200 calories fatter.

It’s a decent place to workout. Crowded and sometimes cleaning supplies aren’t replenished in a timely fashion but you can tell they’re trying to improve. They’re missing some of my favorite machines that are found in the Overland Park location. Overall, friendly staff and value for money.

Wayyyyy to crowded. They have got to limit people if they are gonna close down machines for social fitnessing - which by the way sounds like a group of people going to workout together.

At the the mission one. Only 10% of the people working out are wearing masks vs 90% at the plaza location.Otherwise both planet fitness locations have been great. I keep going back.

There is a staff guy named Jason at the ks mission location he is so friendly to all the customers coming and going and he keeps the facility super clean.I love this location of them all.

Always very clean even before the pandemic. Like when they are open the regular hours. Usually all equipment is in working order. Feel very safe. The staff are friendly and do a Great job! Ive been going for 2 1/2 years. Love my Black card membership!

This place was great until today. They require masks to enter but apparently you can work out barefoot and walk around in flip flops.

I like the Planet Fitness equipment. Restrooms are nice and clean. The employees are nice and helpful. I have a workout plan from a trainer for six weeks, we will reevaluate from there.There is a new station to work as a group with a trainer at specific times. When Im physically ready I want to try. It looks interesting and fun.Also new, is the total body enhancer. If you are a black card member give it a try. Im on my third week rejoining and this is great for my winter blues and muscles!Last but not least, the hydromassage bed/chair. It feels like warm rolling waves of water up and down your back side. You can control the speed, pressure and hold to a certain area. This is my immediate reward for working out.I love Planet Fitness!

Very nice gym!

Can be a bit busy, try the 30 minute circuit in the back. Run through each station twice with a bit of effort and youll end up with a great workout. Some things could stand better upkeep, but good value and staff always friendly.

Great workout! I just dont get the Pizza Mondays on the first week of the month

I was a member of this location since it opened. I had no idea that I had two memberships for over 3 years! Both accounts attached to my phone number with two different cards. I had issues where they had to pull up my account by my phone number and was not told about the two accounts. I did not think it would be a problem for the company to correct the error! They gave me a refund of 6 months and the annual fees! I was being duplicate charged for over three years. I thought this was a reputable company who would have made this right. They did not! I spent over 3 hours on the phone with the gyms manager and corporate and i would have never thought that A gym that I was a member of since they opened would not correct an error! Make sure to check your account because I had no idea that it was going on!

Great place, clean. Friendly workers. The trainer is kind and informative. Clean ladys room.

Good Covid precautions

PF can be a bit lackluster when it comes to free weight selection. The little they have is often super crowded. That said, the KC area has super expensive gyms, and incredibly run down gyms. PF might not have the selection, but its a good price and well kept in a market that lacks the perfect all around gym. This location in particular is probably the best PF in the area when it comes to size.

Is bery good

Good place, clean and good staff. However, it is overcrowded 5pm-8pm. Perhaps, the real issue is that they dont have enough space and equipment to do free weight lifting, and men they took like 2 o more hours in those areas. It would be nice to improve that part. Otherwise, I think is worthy.

Planet Fitness is always a great place to get a good workout in. From state of the art equipment to convenient locations all over the U.S. This location has a very large floor and tons of options. Sadly there are times where it is packed to the brim. This can make it hard to get all of your work out in a timely manner. If your like man and want to be in and out, Then I suggest going during off hours. Between 3pm-7pm is the most packed.

Friendly place pretty big but when it’s peak time it’s packed beyond belief.

Love the gym the people are nice and they put the ego sign back up. Theres a super cute girl who works there too and shes always super nice. I wish there was way more free weights or a pool but I mean you get way you pay for. The massages are really nice but the total body enhancement seems bogus.

This is my local gym I go to about twice a week. I like almost everything about it except for the fact that there are only 4 squat racks. There are enough people who want to use them to warrant at least twice as many. I have to figure out what time to go just so I can be able to use a squat rack. Other than that, I have no complaints! Very friendly staff and the place is always super clean. Lots of great equipment.

It sure would be nice to hear something from the club as to a reopening plan? Poor communication continue to get emails says other planet fitness locations are opening but no communication what so ever from any of the locations in the KC area especially since gyms have been allowed open for a several days......

Very clean and affordable gym! I highly recommend taking the classes with Andrew! He is such a genuine and kind trainer. He wants to see everyone succeed in whatever it is they are working on personally. Huge asset to the company, I have never seen someone work as hard as him.

I call them multiple times to cancel my membership since i moved to a different place. but they keep on charging me for 6 months then i realized and send letters to cancel my member ship couple of times finally, they told me they cancelled it after 10 months of request. still dont know if they cancelled or not until my next bill is generated. worst management

I really enjoy cooking to the Mission gym. The employees and clientele are very polite. There are definitely busy times and slow times, but theres always room to workout.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The trainer went out of his way to make me a personalized program around my crazy, hectic schedule. Clean facility. Plenty of equipment, Ive never had to wait for anything and I go during lunch time usually.

Clean and great atmosphere

I have gone to Planet Fitness for years. Made a lot of progress and I still push to find more progress. People are easy to work with. They will need to do something about how crowded it is at some point or you’re gonna start losing memberships. I don’t know what you can do, build bigger facilities maybe? Either way, gotta do something.

I was shocked to see approx 85% of people not wearing masks or wiping down machines and equip. I am a molecular biologist & pre-med on the front lines of Covid-19 testing, I know how to protect myself. After an impassioned conversation w management, and offering to come educate staff and answer Qs as free public service, I froze my acct. It saddens and scares me bc yesterday I sent a 40 male ER bc he couldn’t breathe to speak. Please wear masks.

This is my favorite Planet fitness. I usually come in the evening/late at night and Jason is the absolute best. He recognizes you and makes sure you have everything you need even when hes trying to get the cleaning done at night. Highly recommend this location.

You get so much for the price compared to other gyms. I like the laid back atmosphere and the staff is always great. My only issue would be is that it can get a little busy during peak hours and thats the only time I can get in. I guess just like everybody else.

My home away from home. Wish the faces if the staff didnt change so often but I get it. Great place, great value.

Completely satisfied with Planet Fitness! The exercise classes are an added bonus-LOVE Core, Legs & Shoulders, PF 360 Burn & PF 360 Refresh. The Mission, KS location is ALWAYS clean and there is plenty of exercise equipment available for use.

Have been to about 20 PFs and this one is my favorite. The space, equipment and set up are perfect. It is very clean here too. The staff is great, Jamey is awesome!

I think this is the largest Planet Fitness in the KC and KS area. I send up for a KC but have been going here because its 24 hours. The locker room has a private changing area. Ive been to 4 locations. This one is my favorite.

Its a gym. You go in, get geared up, and start to raise the old heart beat. The place is clean, and they have a locker room to store your stuff, though you must have your own lock, or buy one from them. There are other services as well like tanning booths and massage chairs. They have dozens of the core exercise machines and a nice quantity of the rest. They even have side rooms with targeted workout configurations, like whole body and core work outs. The staff is friendly and the location is clean.

The gym is nice; large and kept clean. But the parking lot is nearly always full due to a Drivers License Station and other local businesses. It also had (at least when I was there) two massive speed bumps right in front which were really annoying.

Love planet fitness, specially this location. People there are nice. Staff is helpful. Water fountain broke the other day, so they didnt let me pay for water bottles. Free water bottles for everyone. I call that good customer service. Also, its nice to feel that you are not being judged when working out. I think thats why they attract so meany people. Love all the body weight exercise options too. Plus their prices are great.

This is my favorite Planet location!! Everything is always cleaned and in good condition. The locker room is huge. The staff are always laid back and friendly, and good looking. The gym itself is pretty big as well and has everything organized in an amazing way. Its also in a nice part of town.

I always enjoyed going to this planet fitness, until I had to cancel my membership due to relocating to a new state. I came into the facility to cancel my membership and filled out the form. Months later, it turns out PF was still charging my bank account. When I call into inquire why they were still charging me, they retorted there was nothing they could do since they couldnt find the form. On top of that, they required me to mail in a letter or come into the facility to cancel my memebership, which is convenient for PF considering the bill cycle for me is the 17th (which is in a few days) and I live 9 hours away. Regardless, not sure how its a customers fault that PF misplaced a cancellation form and wont refund my account for services I wasnt using for MONTHS. For that reason, I am leaving this facility one star.

Bought $20 membership so I could go tanning . Due to lack of child care I cant utilize during the week so thought I could go Friday, Saturday, Sunday when I had more flexibility. Nope. I was turned away from tanning because it was 23 hours since my last tanning session and it had to be 24 hours. So much for this working mom actual getting to be able to utilize what i pay for. Waste of the extra $10.

Clean gym, great equipment with friendly staff.

For the most part there seems to be an overhaul in your attitude; particularly how staff interacts with members. The staff is friendlier. This makes for a more enjoyable experience. I have ALWAYS liked the fact that you are open and available 24/7. That flexibility with my schedule is a must!!! My only concern would be the hiring of the high schoolers which to tend to be abrupt, impatient, inattentive and unavailable when needed. Again though I would totally recommend.

Ok for 10.00 a month plus a one time fee of 39.00 for the year, pretty good bang for your buck. Now to get there consistently!

Wonderful environment, judge free gym to go and do your own work out at your own pace. Never asked when I come in if I need/or want a trainer to help me lose weight.

Nice clean place to workout. Like the combination day lockers that you can program without bring a lock. Would recommend they tighten and lube the equipment. I even found one with missing bolts. Missing an indoor walking path, a rowing machine, trash can or soap in the showers area.

I really like this gym. It helps keep me focused and lets me wind down at the end.
