There was a good amount of wait but theyre close by and everywhere else was busy as well. At least the wait was justified with them.Actual hand wash. I dont think Ive seen a place outside of a few detail-only places that did a full hand wash without putting the car through the machine. Car left super clean and they did more than I wanted out of a wash (they vacuumed the interior too, maybe wiped it down.) Manager/owner is a cool guy, and the person who washed my car is really good at his job. Very detailed with the work, and I actually went in because my car gathers a lot of dirt/grime near the bottom areas and its difficult dealing with that at a regular self-service wash.Honestly I think the people complaining just need to take better care of their vehicles and not expect magic when they wait way too long to get a wash.I think the photo speaks for itself. This is without wax or anything special.

This place is awesome the manager was so polite, i ask the manager can i upgrade from regular to classic wash and pay the difference he says yes and he upgrade me with NO CHARGE!I have been in so many car wash but DETAIL CENTER was something elseI recommend this place to everybody

Nice people, but horrible job. I paid $22.00 + tip for this. No attention to detail. I even asked to borrow a rag so I can clean the inside myself because there was still dust and crumbs all over center console.

West LA Car Wash has done a great job of cleaning the cat pee out of my car seats. My old Toyota Corolla looks and smells amazing now. He also has been very responsive to answering my phone call to set up the appointment. I will definitely recommend him

Big mistake for you and your chariot.1. LONG LONG LONG wait to get car cleaned after handed over to them.2. Didnt even wipe down the interior, at all, nothing, nada, zero!3. Charged my credit card more than the agreed upon price.I tried this car wash for the first time and was beyond disappointed. I was there for just over an hour to get the basic wash. I had to hunt down the manager and ask where my car was located as it never made it to the front with others. The outside of the car looked fine and the inside carpets were vacuumed but NOTHING ELSE was cleaned. The dash was dirty along with everything else in the interior. After waiting so long could not begin to ask them to finish and sit there for another hour. It appeared they were short staffed. I also just received my credit card bill and see I was charged for the next level of service to add insult to injury. There are other much better places that do a good job for way less of your cash that you could have spent on wine at Trader Joes.

5 stars for the food! -1 star because car washes arent that great. I first had their chicken Caesar salad when I interviewed for a job near there. It was so good! I dont work around there anymore, but it is still so good! I had my car detailed there once. It was prior to a lease return so I wanted it looking great. I paid a lot but the job wasnt worth the money. I dont recommend getting your car washes there.

They have one of those big machine-tunnels that you sit in your car while going through, rather than making you get out or having people hand wash your car. Some might say this is less effective, but my car always looks great afterwards and going through the tunnel makes me feel giddy like a kid!

Ive been to many car wash places in my life. I found this place by coincidence and it wasnt far from my job. West LA Car Wash is family-owned and they really care for their customers. It shows. Ive always been impressed with the wash on my cars and the courteous staff. Pierre, the owners son, is a nice young man, the next generation in a business that really likes its customers. This place is da bomb! Go and check it out for your cars.

Car is spotless!! Had years of wear on my seats and floors. Lots of tea & coffee spills and needed cleaning in all the spots I couldnt get too. Spotless First took care of all of it! Really easy and convenient.

The new owners are really great (and theyre French with a nice accent, if that incites you to visit them). The workers do a much better cleaning job than they used to (I have been going there for the past 20 years, often trying other places out of frustration with the job done). Well, they are really nice and helpful now, so I wont need to search further...

The place is quick and good. Monthly membership makes it worth it when you need a quick wash.

My car was very dirty. It had been a couple of months since Id last washed it. All I had them do is the regular hand wash, and now its super clean!

If you need a fast, affordable, quality carwash this is the place! I am a monthly subscriber, and it is an awesome value. I trust my car to this place, and havent had any problems whatsoever. I think the photo speaks for itself. If for any reason youre not satisfied with the wash, they will re-wash right away and make things right.

These guys have won my loyalty. Theyve got reasonable prices, they always do a good job, and theyre incredibly helpful and patient. My cars battery died when I went to get it wash, and rather than getting me out of the lot, they helped me try first jumping it, and when that failed, pushed the car to a safe spot to wait for the AAA guy -- and still gave my car a wash after all of that.

Im pretty surprised the reviews are so poor for this place. I have been to numerous car washes in the LA area with less than stunning results. This place was very fairly priced and did a great job. This place is also very convenient if you happen to be going to the shopping center down the street.

Great car wash with membership, quick and easy. If you live close by I definitely recommend it to you. Also the guys who works there are super nice and friendly.

Car wash staff are great and do a very good job. The bad part is they have no snack shop food or coffee. Detailing is good as well

Best car wash around. Guys are always friendly and do a stupendous job. Other car washes dont care nearly as much about their customers. I had one guy fix my bumper even while we were there. Great customer service.

In less than 5 minutes they told me 3 different prices! The website stated it one price, an employee told another price, the sign showed completely different price! I finally agreed to the sign price and they wanted to charge me $4 extra because my car was dirty?!!duh! isnt this place a car wash!!??? I ended up taking my car to another car wash.

I paid almost $30 to get my truck washed and they did a horrible job. My windows were all dirty with spots, inside they didnt even wipe the dashboard, it was as dusty as I left it. The bed completely dirty, they didnt even rinse it. I dont know why they charge extra for the truck if they only wash half of the car anyway, not even that. Outside still had bugs on the grill. Worst car wash experience ever.

Paid for one of the higher tier packages and got a very shoddy job. Did not wash my side mirrors, missed many of the interior surfaces and I could barely see out of my windshield on the way home.

Priced higher than others but good service. Just wish the guy who got my car didnt have attitude.

Lunch at a car wash?! – the deli is located inside of the car wash, it looks like a convenience store from the outside so you might not expect a deli inside, but they’re serving up good lunch food at hard to beat prices. They serve a variety of American & Mexican foods (salads, sandwiches, burgers, burritos, tacos, etc.) When I worked in the area I regularly would come here for lunch.3. Very affordable prices – you can get a sandwich and side for around $6, and the portions are a good size too. A cheaper, (potentially) healthier alternative to the Baja Fresh, Chicken Dijon, Panda Express fare you can get on the corner of Sawtelle & Olympic.4. They serve sides and dessert fresh daily – they’re serving up fresh salads (fruit, pasta, potato) and desserts (usually a cheesecake or something similar) that they make fresh daily. If you place a phone order it’s worth it to ask what sides they have that day if you don’t want their standard fries (which are average).5. Recommended – the nachos are a huge portion (enough for 2 people to split easily), very affordable ($5.50), piled high with your choice of meat (and free avocado!), and the chips are very sturdy/don’t wilt under pressure.

Came here for the first time and thought it was great. Free wifi, nice attached cafe, clean waiting area, fair prices. HOWEVER, when I went to get my car, I noticed that there were still some dirt by the trunk. I asked the guys working if they could touch it up, but they said it needed to be waxed and it wouldnt come off just with the regular wash. Not knowing much about cars, I said okay and left. When I got home, I got a rag with some water to see if I could wipe away the dirt left on the car. IT CAME OUT easily. I feel cheated and very dissapointed. Time to look for another car wash...

They do the best job! And very personable

Cracked my windshield (sure, could be heat related as claimed) but their response is why Im writing this. They did not mention any damage when handing over the vehicle, and then when I pointed it out, immediately whipped out two phones with evidence photos that it had already been cracked, despite both photos showing the resulting long cracks.If you decide to go here, add an extra 10-15 minutes to photograph every inch of your car, because they will damage it, and they will not care one single bit.

Their prices are not what they are stated online. They also charge a suv fee and didnt tell me until I paid. It was an extra $4-$5 dollars. Nice people & good wash

Very fast service, my car was really dirty inside and they did a really thorough and clean job! :) I got the regular wash and my car looks like new!Came back 3/23/13 and online they have that they are open till 6:00, I show up at 520 and all of the gates are closed! Absolute waste of time driving down here when their information is inaccurate!

Best car wash arround ! The new managers are very friendly and the really care about their customers ! The cleaners are efficient and they care about the small details ! They also have good food and a nice selection of French snacks !

Brought my truck in, got it cleaned and washed.. then a day later noticed one of my hub cap on my left tire was missing. It wasnt missing before i took it in. Aside from this company not accepting Amex, their service pretty much sucks.
