The best hand car wash in dtla. Moved from Little Tokyo. Owner is all business, not much talking. They take their time to clean your whip, will continue to go back.

I love leaving my car, going home to do business or other errands knowing my car will be fine and ready to shine when I pick it up.These guys will take care of you, I couldnt find their new location and was so saddened until today. They remember you, they treat you like family which means they are going to take care of you.Larger space which is nice!

This car wash has been around for decades! They recently moved after so long due to development on the original site but they didnt go too far which is great for my family- we all get our cars cleaned here.You can get a regular car wash or detail here- prices are affordable and fair.The staff is super friendly and do a great job.They take credit cards and cash but the Wi-Fi is spotty in that area so cash is best. Check them out.

I give Little Tokyo 3 1/2 stars. They did a good job not great. I showed the lead person what I wanted as my black vehicle had been spotted over time and asked for a machine compound with and a waxing, in all, a full detailing for $180. When I returned to p/u my car most of the spotting remained including some sap on the roof of the car so what I got was a nice wash ‘n wax, very shiny I might add but not what I had hoped for in doing a proper machine compounding to remove spotting. The same attendant informed me upon my questioning that it was done by machine but logic tells me otherwise. In all I got a good wash n wax for $180 which I feel was worth not nearly what I was charged.

Good people, very friendly staff the manager is on time and he cares about his customer.Good customer service and all the time they are cleaning inside and outside and even I see several times they clean their parking lot to make sure customer has a good experience they have a small place to seat and cleaning with the air as well

The best part of this place is the reason youre going in the first place, to get your car washed. Its 100% hand wash. I added a wax and my car has never looked better.The only knock is that nearly every single sign with their name on it says that they take credit cards and the first words out of the attendents mouth after I give him my order is cash only. I ended up walking all over the Arts District looking for an atm.

Found my favorite car wash again! Ive been missing them since they moved from Little Tokyo. If you go walk accross the street to Urban Radish. Ill be back, they always do a great job on car.

I don’t think they understand what interior detail means. They didn’t even clean my panel. Forgot to do refresher too. Worst experience ever

This is the best hand car wash around! I bring my car here 1-2 times per week and they pay amazing attention to detail and get every spot on the car clean. I have taken 1,000-2,000 mile road trips with bugs splatted everywhere and you couldnt even tell once they cleaned the car.

This local neighborhood staple has been in the DTLA Arts District for many years. They were closer to Little Tokyo previously, but now they are in the heart of the AD.

I have three small children who do not value a clean car as much as I do. Our minivan is regularly in need of a deep cleaning, and the guys here at Friends are kind enough to drop me off at my office in nearby Downtown CA while they clean our filthy minivan. The prices are reasonable, and these guys are really hard workers.

Came here on Friday morning. It wasnt busy. We got the premium, which is the minimum level of service. They did a good job of cleaning the outside and inside but whatever they used to clean the instrument panel glass left it foggy.Our car was finished in less than 10 minutes.

Do NOT go to this place. We took our car here, they took a long time washing and cleaning it, then we noticed later that they never put back one of our winterized rubber floor matts that are specially formatted for our car. We went back and they couldnt find the matt, and we have to order an entire new set to replace it. Do NOT go to this place. They also did not actually fully clean the car despite the long time they took.

Been coming here for years... Even when they are slammed they are fast/efficient. Staff is super nice and the owner jumps in to help wash when its busy.

They tried to steal items that I had left in the car, including a radar detector (in case) that was tucked in a side pocket of the passenger door. After the cleaning, I started to drive off and noticed that a couple of things that were usually in the center console or door pockets were missing. I drove around the block and came back into their lot. I found that all the incidentals in the car (shopping bags, phone chargers, the radar detector, etc) were taken out of the car and put into a milk crate containing a bunch of other stuff (not belonging to me). I had to go thru the box myself and find my stuff.

They dont do an especially good job but if you just want to get that LA dust layer off your car, get the cheapest wash and itll be fine.

Yo, this wash was trash... I could have done a better job with a water bottle, dish soap, and a tooth brush.

First time here, paid $40. For a wash/wax/armor all inside & out. I rolled out with dirty door jambs, shoe scuffs remained on interior of doors, and the back window was still dirty from the I side. I went home and corrected all the issues myself by just wiping things down. Bad management, and careless employees with indifferent attitudes. Not going back!

Believe me and all the negative reviews below when we recommend staying away from this place.I live locally and really enjoyed getting my car washed here for convenience, but the last three times Ive been they returned my car dirty and its unacceptable considering they increased all of their prices by $10-20 this past summer. I paid $40 for a hand wax today.I addressed it to the owner today when I picked up my car, and while he did apologize, his staff did not seem to care and glared at me for expressing my concerns.***The cherry on top was when the owner told me they ran out of air freshener scents so instead he sprayed some orange liquid out of a spray bottle that was supposed to be Piña Colada all over my mats, but it ended up smelling like dirty water mixed with medicine instead.***I cant believe I spent my money here time after time, but rest assured, Im never coming back again. Horrible management, terrible quality and overpriced packages. Thanks, but no thanks.

Expensive for what you get and gave me the wettest seats that didnt dry and made the car smell. Service was mediocore.
