I have been coming here for over 4 years now. Service is always friendly and professional. Have always been extremely satisfied with my haircut and beard trim. Wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair. Definitely recommend

This is the only place I get my haircut in L.A. and I’ve been going since they opened. They do a great job all around, their prices are good, and they’re all super nice. Usually they have throwback music or TV on so it’s always a good vibe. George is my go to barber and always makes me look good!

Amazing customer service from “Sugar” and his son. My first time getting a haircut from Sugar and he was very accommodating. He asked me exactly what type of hair style I wanted and talked me through the process in order gain my trust in his skill. We had a meaningful conversation about our lives to get to know each other. This will be the first of many visits from me to come. Highly recommend these guys. It’s $25 per cut, which is worth the experience of getting to know such professional and laid back people. They also sell different pomade brands such as Suavecito. The decor of the place reminds me of a Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodriguez films. Just an overall humble and cool establishment.

I was visiting LA for a few weeks and needed a haircut. I opted and took a chance with Castros Barber Shop, and I was not disappointed. I got a haircut with Sugar Bear and he did wonders with the clippers. The place has a neighborhood vibe and very accommodating. The $20 fade was worth it. There is plenty of street parking, and the shop is easy to find. Anyway, try them out, and youll be a fan!

Truly awful place VERY unprofessional all of there barbers look high which wouldnt really that much of problem if they werent cutting your hair! Bottom line these people charge 25$ for haircuts that will probably ruin your day Im all about barbershops trying to be unique but being terrible is NOT the way

This place right here is just always a fun place to come. They pay attention to detail give you exactly what you want. If you need a lineup or any edging done whether its with the machine or the straight razor theyll be happy to do it and wont give you any dirty looks if you ask for it. Dont even get me started on the neo Geo arcade machine inside which is on free play and has 40 or 50 games in it if not more. They have a whole selection of Joes, pomades Im case you can use from a variety of different companies and they come in different densities all the way from just giving you a little bit of shine to thick pasty wax. Basically this is your One-Stop shop for all your cutting, fading, edging and trimming needs.

Ive been seeing Drew Castro for over a year now, and I hope he remains my go-to barber for many, many more to come. His knowledge of mens grooming continues to astound me with every visit, he provides a fun space with good conversation and great music, and every haircut is a work of art. I cant recommend this shop enough--great prices too!

I like to vote with my dollar when I spend money and this is the spot. I always feel welcomed and at home here. I like classic neighborhood barber shop vibe. I drive all the way out from the sfv and its worth every penny, I love my fresh cut every time. I was stoked to hear that the owner Drew is also vegan.

Ive been here several times and my cut is always consistent. Anyone looking for a fresh clean fade you got to come here ask for Drew because hes a beast.in regards to Eddie and his one star comment Id have to disagree and say $25 for a more than quality cut is actually a deal. The going prices for nice barber shops are typically 35-40+ but I get it personal preference some people enjoy a $15 fast cut.

Been here once, overall impressed. Barber does a great job understanding what you want with your hair, the barbershop itself has its own identify and style (which makes it very cool) and I would definitely come back here again.

Castros is THE place. Ive gotten the freshest cuts ever in my life here, and excellent trimming of facial hair too (Never have I gotten so much attention from the ladies than the weeks following my visit, either).Squints and Drew are two hella rad dudes. Super inclusive environment too. Ill never go anywhere else (as long as I have hair at least haha).Rock on guys. Hope to come in tomorrow!

Defanetly a real barbershop, with its own style. They dont try to sale you an experience like the other hip trendy expensive barber shops around the area.Dont waste your time with the others unless you have more money then brains.

I was around the area stuck in traffic one or two really help myself and just relax I thought why not come to the most top-rated place on Google looking for a barber shop around me which was only a mile away from the very start on the telephone BEBO the barber at Castros barber shop was extremely nice from the very start and when I walked in I really appreciate it this nice classic looking place that is very nice with music and everything was listening to oldies and really enjoying the peaceful environment and BEBO ask me if I wanted any type of drink.... which in most cases you dont really hear a barbershop asking you that which is very nice going out of his way offering that and also I wanted to shave all 0 my head and my face and he took all the necessary steps and Beyond thing taking it to Old School and her new school in between and getting the job done putting the towel over my face warm and afterwards I was very surprised with calming down there nerves in the face with cold towel which was very surprising because most barber shops dont do that!!! I highly highly recommend this place for many of your Barber Shop needs extremely pleasant place and very friendly!
