If your looking for a honest mechanic, this is the place to go. Owner Avo is a master mechanic and is straight forward with what your car needs. No upswell. I came in because I needed my Xterra to pass state emissions test. He checked it out and told me what I would need to fix to make it pass. He gave me an estimate fixed what needed to be done and a week later my Xterra passed and I was a happy camper. I’ve been back for an oil change and i was in and out within 30 min. I will keep going back. And this is from someone driving from Van Nuys to his auto shop.

My car wouldnt turn on, so I had it towed to Avos. He was responsive and easy to work with. They were pretty busy, but he still made time for my car. They figured out the problem, fixed it, and gave me further advice on different parts of my vehicle. The prices are reasonable.

What I like about the guys are they are honest and try to help you save money.I replaced a catalytic converter on my Jeep Wrangler and they helped me spend least.They rather want long time customer than short time gain. I recently took my 97 Jeep in for an oil and belt change. The owner Avo did an excellent job explaining what he was doing and he delivered on time as promised. I know I will definitely be going back because he made me feel comfortable and he was honest. You don’t find a lot of shop owners like him anymore he’s very professional and has great customer service, I know that this is a shop I would recommend to anyone including my mom. Been going to this mechanic shop for almost 2 years had many oil changes, tune-ups and transmission replaced. Smog checks for both cars were done within 15 minutes this place gets the job done top-quality. Ask for a Avo he will tell you what your car needs to be done he would not try to milk you. He uses top quality oil and transmission fluid do not go cheap on your car, spend the money knowing your car is well taken care of. Very friendly down to earth person.

Great experience. I had the dealership servicing my car from the time I bought it, I had a hunch something wasn’t right and my money was going to waste. Took my care here and learned so much, never knew what a cabin air filter was until I came to these people. Can’t believe how dirty the filter was and what I was breathing in.

Stay away. They over charge you & tell you to do repairs that are not needed. God knows how many victims they have preyed on. Also in two occasions, they seem to have manipulated a perfectly working fuel injector which we had no problem with & charged us on it. We did complain to them to no use. We have enough evidence to complain to the authorities, including the department of consumer affairs. However, wondering how come he gets 5 stars all the time, one of his workers told me they are either fake or ownera friends. Anyway, we will never take our Honda Accord neither our Toyota Corolla there. Stay away of this place.-----------------------------------------------Yelp VS Google; To find out the difference between biased & money hungry Yelp (which receives money from business owners & tint & tilt the reviews & even as some have noticed removes their reviews all together) & Google (which so far has stayed fair & balanced), see the CBS 60 minutes last Sunday May 20, 2018. The founder of Yelp was interviewed & he proved his fear of Google but did not revel that the fear is internal & due to the fact that Yelp is loosing market share because consumers have found out about its biased tactics.

Went to this place based on the rating. When i went to have my car checked out for a gas leak i can smell. They wanted to charge me 100 plus dollars to diagnose the problem. And that money they were charging wasnt cpunting any money towards repair or parts if needed. Waste of time.

Avos a good guy and so is Jamie one of his mechanics. They spent half an hour unclogging my windshield wiper fluid nozzles and didnt charge. Also saved me money on a bad pipe that needed replacing. Solid, good people.I want to update this review and add even more good things to say:When my car basically died, I towed my car to Avos to have it looked at. I decided the price of the repair wasnt worth it so I decided to donate my car. It was during the first few months of quarantine and so life was just off. It took the donation place days to arrange the pickup. Avo let me keep the car at his place and even handled the keys and the handoff when the donation place finally came.Honestly, I didnt ask him to do it. He just offered. Id been going there for years so we were already cool - but for me that was beyond the call of duty.I wouldnt expect the same sort of treatment on the fly - it takes time to build relationships. Nevertheless not everyone is willing to do that these days. Props to Avo for his commitment to relationships and long term clients.Lastly - I ended up buying a new car so most likely I wont be going there for a while. Im actually sad that I wont be able to use their services. I think that should say a lot.

Had heard from others, this is not a good place anymore. Live relatively close by & been a client for years with previous owners, so took my chances & went there for a regular service on my Dodge Durango 2014 & was being ripped off. They thought since I am an older woman they can take advantage of me. Called & asked couple of people who were going there before & we had made friends while waiting for our cars to be repaired with precious owners & they had the same experience. Asked them about reviews & they both said, they have heard some of them get paid to write, some are family & friends of the new owner! Talking about Honesty. Stay away from this place, not worth time & money. I found an honest & caring mechanic shop not too far away already.

Avo goes way above and beyond with stellar quality work. There were complications with my clutch install and he made it 100% right and was honest & upstanding about it. I know he lost money, but he stuck to his original estimate anyways.5 stars, Id even drive the 250 miles again from my home to go to Avo because I trust his work. Highly highly recommend him

Sorry but I height when you get there and instead of been help I have to hear this attendant conversation whit probably another client about different topics that they have nothing todo with a car and when I ask if someone else can help me he respond with an actitud that there was a client ahead of me and i have to wait 39 minutes just to talk with him unbelievably!

Avos always takes care of me. Everytime i bring my car to him he evaluates before he charges me.
