The spot was so nice. The barbers gave my teenager an awesome hair cut. He was so happy. It was clean, friendly and very cool 😎

Alex did a wonderful job, this was by far the best hair cut experience I have had to date. He was gracious enough to see me, even though I was late for my appointment. His skills are amazing, the entire team are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Great service by the team, but too expensive for the service I received. Only got a simple haircut and a line-up, but I was charged $60. I think it was too much and I still got home and fix the haircut.

Just moved to Miami and got a cut from Nelson - super nice guy and gave an amazing cut. Cut exactly how I wanted and gave some good recommendations. Whenever I move somewhere new I usually have to try a few times before finding someone I like - definitely coming back!

This is supposed to be a professional barbershop that’s charges 53 dollars for a haircut but each time you book a haircut appointment with them you either get double booked or the barber is late. Don’t go to these clowns.

This is the worst experience with my hair. Is the second time I go. The first time the haircut was barely ok but I just did a fade. Today I tried something new because I had my hair long enough to do it. Anyway it was just another fade but the guy Nigel just cut part of my hair almost to the middle of head I didn’t realize until I get to my house. This place is a disaster, I won’t go back anymore and i won’t recommend anyone from here. They need to learn about hair stylist too, or just do barbershop but the worst experience ever.

After waiting 10 minutes finally someone ask if I had an appointment and my barber took me for my hair cut. (Im assuming that the hostess is off or there is no more because of the pandemia). My barber was vey good when cutting and styling, but during this time, the place is lazy on cleaning and disinfecting. My baber did not sanitize the chair I sat down, from his previous customer. Customers are not wearing mask during the hair cut. And a couple of barbers where wearing chin mask all the time.They offered a drink, which I accepted. But it lasted me 5 minutes before my barber decide to blow my hair and all fell on my drink. Other locations have better standards during this time of virus.

I walked in at 7:30pm without an appointment. Within 5 minutes, I was attended by Rigoberto. He was good with the straight edge, and I really like how the haircut turned out. I’ll be back.

Great cuts everytime!

While visiting Miami this beautiful Barber shop called The Shop caught my eye, so I decided to go in. As soon as I walked in I felt so welcomed. There was a sense of pease that passes all understanding. I only planned to get a shape up but Victor, the barber had other plans. Victor displayed the most outstanding customer through conversation, and by going above and beyond what I asked for. While getting pampered 😁, I noticed the other barbers customer service skills as well. I think it’s is wonderful to see an establishment that goes above and beyond to provide satisfaction. We never know what someone may be going through, so it is extremely important to treat them the way you would like to be treated. God Bless “The Spot”.

Very pricey but probably worth it. They took their time on me and my brothers hair cut and did a fine job. They attended us quickly as I was probably in a hurry, but in the meantime they gave us water, ginger ale, and Cuban coffee! Amazing Cuban coffee might I add. My cut was 30 bucks and I tipped 20 percent because well, it was a nice experience. My brother is 9 but they charged me 30 also, it was a mistake and should have been 25 but I didnt mind because we were taken care of and his barber was patient. Probably not my first barbershop of choice but happy I went. Thanks again!

Great place! I am heading out of town to go to a concert and needed a good barber to execute what i wanted to do with my hair. JP executed every little detail and even gave me pointers on how to manage my hair. I have totally found the only place i will go back to and get a haircut. One of the worst haircuts I have gotten in ages. I had a haircut and a beard trim. Brendan was my barber, as soon as he started cutting I realized he was not going to do a good job. He was not paying attention at all. He had a familiar client walk in and was distracted. I told him several times (as I realized he is not paying enough attention) on how the cut needs to be and he just started using the clippers with a number to cut. Once he was done with the sides, no wash, nothing, went straight to scissors to cut. How can you cut without washing specially if gel was used earlier.As one other review mentioned, I could have gotten a better cut at a $10 salon.Then came the beard trim. I had specifically told him to leave my mustache and beard natural. But in an attempt to style it, he completely messed it up. I am.a professional and looking clean and professional is important for my job. What he did was utter carelessness with his job.The Spot and some other fancy barbershops in Miami, make.the place look good and serve beer/drinks to clients to make it look fancy. But when it comes to haircut they dont get their hairstylists to provide good haircut. The attention paid in marketing/instagram etc could be paid in getting better hair stylists or training them well.I usually do not write too many reviews but I feel the need to write this review as it was so bad.I will not be visiting The Spot anymore.Update 5/30The owner of The Spot called me and apologized for the experience I had and offered to make it right. Although it does not change my experience, I appreciate the effort he made in trying to make sure my concerns are heard and offering to make efforts to rectify them. I appreciate the effort and so have changed my rating based on that.

My favorite barbershop of all time. The staff is friendly and professional. The space is big and nice to look at. Cuts are very good. Good environment overall. The only downside is that there isnt a lot of parking in the Gables and the price is reflects all the good things mentioned above. You get what you pay for. :) David is my preferred Barber there.

Wow what a great place! Walked in and was offered a drink. Felt taken care of even if I was just a walk in. And I instantly knew I wanted Bobby to cut my hair. Told him to do what he thinks is best and walked out with exactly the kind of look I was going for. Bobby is among the best and I will definitely go back.

Great ambience, professional personnel and a greasy experience all around. I was welcomed with some coffee while i waited my turn, got my hair cut by Tony, of whom Im now a regular. Would recommend and already have in fact to my friends

I had a awful experience with a barber Leo. He ruined my hair style. I asked for a specific hair style and he did what he wanted. Made a donation to the spot that day, because as soon as i left i went and paid for another haircut. I wish the website would have a rating system on the barbers so its not like playing Russian roulette. Thought i was getting an expert barber (for that price) but just got a guy that could work at any $10 barbershop. Also gave me a shave without a hot towel, nightmare. Will have to wait a while before i can get another haircuts. Needless to say, i wont be going back.

This place is amazing!!! As soon as you walk in, youre greeted and offered expresso, water etc. The bathrooms carry listerine. The whole barbershop has a retro look to it. I love their slogan, God is good.. if you go in there, ask for Danny. Hes amazing. The great thing about him is that he can cut hair and do a great shape up on your beard. By the way I live in boca!!! I drive an hour to see this guy. Theres absolutely no one else i would trust that Danny.

So, this is my second time there - first time went well - hence the second star.DISCLAIMER: I have poor eyesight so I can’t really see when they put that mirror behind you and ask if it looks ok.Walked in this morning (Thursday 9:45am), with no appointment, and the guy who cut my hair last time was not there. I figured no biggie since I didn’t have an appt last time and I took the next avail barber - mistake #1.I asked for a #3 on the sides and no more than an 1/8” off the top - simple instructions and a simple hair cut. WRONG.End result: a #3 on parts of my sides, hairs still long around my ears and god knows what up top.How can a barbershop employ someone who can’t cut hair properly?!?!
