The staff in the office is very attentive and they are always able to help with anything you need. Plus, the amenities are amazing and the whole building is very clean. I would definitely recommend this place!
The Midvale Apartments has been such a wonderful place to live! They have taken great precautions during Covid to make all of their residents to feel safe in the building. All of the amenities have recently opened and have been so great and clean! The office and maintenance people are always extremely helpful and responsive and make it overall a great experience. This is an excellent place to live!
Overall good apartment complex owned by a professional management group. Management is nice and maintenance is on top of any work orders, as our apartment had a few issues with the master bathroom. There is a good online portal where maintenance requests and payments can be made. Apartment is a bit on the pricier side, considering many of the amenities were shut down during COVID however once more of the amenities open up it may be worth it for many individuals.
I’ve been living at Midvale for the past four months and it has been a great experience. Then amenities are amazing but due to Covid we don’t have access to them. I wish they would open up especially since restaurants are open again. They are very quick to get back on work order submitted, or even any issue reported. Great service and great apartment.
The staff was very welcoming and the amenities are fantastic!
Nice complex with great amenities! My roommates and I have enjoyed taking advantage of the pool. I wish the fitness center could be open during quarantine. We have had some issues with items falling off of surfaces because the floor is slanted in our apartment. Otherwise it has been a great experience, and the apartment has a nice view off of the balcony.
Midvale 527 has been really good to me and my roommates. I was locked out of my apartment and they had gotten back to me in a timely manner. They have answered all our questions and given us any resources if needed. Highly recommend living here.
The office is great. They have helped me out multiple times promptly and without hesitation. The facilities are nice and I would highly recommend this apartment building.
The place is newly renovated and pretty nice. The management is pretty proactive and pretty fast when it comes to fulfilling work orders. So far, Ive had no issues with the place at all, and Ive enjoyed my stay at these apartments so far.
Super nice apartments with great amenities!
This place is overall a super solid place to live as a student in Westwood. I have really enjoyed my place here, the views from the 5th floor are spectacular! Management has always been so friendly and helpful when I need something. Work orders are done in an incredibly timely fashion, and I really appreciate the kindness shown by everyone here. Rent is a little pricey compared to the area, but honestly it has been worth it to me with how seemless my time here has been. Thanks Midvale!
Midvale apartments are a great first apartment experience for UCLA students. My maintence request orders have always been filled super fast, and the staff is always really nice. The maintenence of the building is always in great condition, there is regular cleaning of the building weekly I believe. The ameneties are also really nice, and I cant wait to take advantage of the jacuzzi, rooftop, and gym after the pandemic is over.
Just moved in and I’m pleasantly surprised how clean and neat the apartments and and facilities are. The complex are cautious due to COVID-19 which makes living here more comfortable.
I am currently living at 527 Midvale and I love it! The building itself is very nice, clean and there is a ton of natural lighting, which is true of our apartment as well. We have a unit on the first floor, but the noise from upstairs is usually never even noticed. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and gym are so amazing to have so close and are never crowded! The employees in the office, as well as the maintenance staff, are all extremely friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there, which makes the building seem more like home. They put candy outside of the office every day and even sometimes make popcorn in a cute old-fashioned machine for the residents. The apartment is slightly on the more expensive side for the UCLA area, but it is definitely worth it. You get what you pay for, and if you want a great building, unit, amenities, and staff, then Midvale is the way to go. I highly recommend living here
I completely agree with Christophers comment about the manager and her dog. By the way, her dog is so delicious. Only if you cook him properly ;)
I applied for an apartment that was free on their site from next month and there were no particular information specified, i paid the requested amount and only later they replied me that the single apartments do not rent for the short term (i applied for 3 months, not a week). When I asked explanations, they no longer responded. Truly deceptive behavior.
I have lived in the 527 Midvale apartments for the past 4 months and this is by far the best building in Westwood! From the recently remodeled units, super nice common areas, open air hallways, gated/secured entrances and security, this building has it all!It is walking distance to campus and the village and the management team led by Angie have been friendly, professional and super quick to follow-up on questions and maintenance requests. They even leave candy out on Halloween, a gift wrapping station during the holidays and host contests with prizes. The building truly has it all with an amazing and spacious gym, pool/jacuzzi/sauna, great outdoor deck area with a BBQ, laundry room, secured package drop-off area and a quiet/study room open to all residents. Thick walls and the open air hallways make for way less noise for a college town. The units are large and recently modeled with hard wood floors, lots of natural light, new appliances, countertops, sinks, paint throughout and Nest A/C. They offer one and two bedroom options as well as fully, partially and non-furnished options. I have lived in several buildings in the Westwood area and the 527 Midvale building is truly the best.
Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the Midvale complex. They seemed to have everyones best interest in mind and offered me the best deal they had. The rent may be pricy but considering the amenities, it is worth it. Overall, very helpful for first time students such as myself coming from out-of-state or international.
Lived here for a year now and just wanted to take the time to highlight my experience. Maintenance is constant and on-going which means that this place stays clean and well kept year round. Occasionally, the maintenance crew will shut off the water (if only for a couple hours at a time) as preventative maintenance. I have spoken with several friends who live in neighboring apartment buildings and it is their experience that their plumbing work is never done on time and results in the water being shut off for sometimes a period of days. So the preventative maintenance is certainly appreciated. Furthermore, they hosted a taco Tuesday even t for the whole building because they felt bad about turning off the water (lmao). The people in the office here really appreciate their tenants and it shows.
You can expect poor management, termites, loud construction, the WiFi being down for over a week, and various plumbing issues from this place. Sure, its nice on the outside, and its nice on the inside too, but once you live here you start to notice the little things that make staying here absolutely painful.
My brother and I have been living here for 20 plus years. Bottom line: The management is great, Marie is extremely cooperative and looks out for everyones benefit. Extremely high rent, but its worth it as there is a full maintenance and cleaning crew everyday. Those that are posting mean unfit immature comments are young, dumb and inexperienced who rely on mommy and daddy for everything. they will see what good they had when they are gone from Midvale. Such children!!....we love them all! :)
Looks great on the outside but the interior is definitely not luxury, plus the manager Marie is fit to manage a retirement home not an apartment complex for college students
Management does not take care of things quickly, and they are often not in their office during the posted hours.
Nice apartments, although very thin walls. Nobody uses the pool it seems.
Not only expensive, also charge you arbitrary charges. the manager is very rude...After live here for about 8 months, strongly not recommended
As most places in LA, parking sucks. Its hard to get reception here.
