Worst Airlines and zero Customer Service. They cancelled and rescheduled flightswithout any notice or message or letter. You will never know about the change if you are lucky to call in advance. It is big financial burden and great inconvenience for any family, with Disabled Parent and little Kids. No hotel accommodation, and you are on your own.If you have visa you can pay and get hotel outside airport. Otherwise stay at airport and make prayers at the Holy airport.I have to buy last minute expensive hotel accommodation and travelabout $2000 extra.I tried talking to several customer service personals but they have no authority to facilitate consumer and their hands are tight. So the GOLDEN WORD OF ADVICE IS TO KEEP AWAY FROM THIS AIRLINE AND BE SAFE AND HAPPY and spread the message.

My family was looking forward to travelling via Saudia but after their experience, never again. Not only that, I recommended Saudia to a couple of my friends, one of whom booked a ticket with Saudia. We are now in process of ensuring that his flight is changed to a more ethical airline company (glad we got cancellation policy from our agent). My wife and 2 kids (3 year old and 18 month old) travelled from Toronto to Jeddah on the 27th. The entire experience started sour and despite giving Saudia many chances for redemption, they denied every single time. The flight was late (scheduled 12:40 pm takeoff, actual take off around 3:30 pm). Okay – it happens, let’s braved through with the two little ones. Once on board and in flight, the food started being served. The flight attendant provided a meal to my wife and daughter and my wife asked for one for my son as she knew he was hungry and wanted to eat. The flight attendant then actually said that she couldnt provide the meal to my son as we hadnt paid for the full seat. “We will not give him a meal” she said. How can your staff deny food to a child? We could have easily paid for the meal right then and there but the fact that your staff actually said that we had not paid for a full seat, it’s completely unacceptable. We paid the asking price that your company set for “under 2 year old” traveler. I didn’t set those prices, I didn’t bargain for those rates. Those are your rates. My family was on a 12 hour journey. They were in mid-flight. That is NOT the place or time to deny food to anyone. Your customers spend thousands of dollars to fly from one place to another. It is your responsibility to budget appropriate portions for the human lives that are travelling with your airline.Shortly after this incident, my wife called a flight attendant and requested that my son’s baby bottle be warmed for 30 secs. The flight attendant coldly declined and said that it was not possible to warm up anything. Now this is not our first international trip. We have travelled on many flights internationally and one thing is consistent with all of my family’s other travel experiences – flight crew has never declined to warm up a baby bottle and has never declined any one food. Food shortages may occur but that will impact a larger group of passengers. In Saudia’s case, it was a flat out refusal to provide food to a child.Saudia is tooting a bigger horn than they can handle. They recognized that other Middle East airline companies are connecting Asia to North America and wanted to get a piece of the pie – can’t blame them for that. However, if your company wants to be taken seriously, you’ll need to take a course in customer service, customer satisfaction as well as human ethics.I will never recommend Saudia to anyone ever again will go out of my way to give business to a service provided who isn’t concerned about a $10 meal. I should add that my frustration only increases as Saudia left my wife and children’s luggage in Jeddah even though Toronto Pearson tagged it all the way to Lahore. That is something I confirmed prior to their departure. All in all – a terrible flight experience for the family and not worth the thousands I spent.

Worst Customer Service. We had family of 7. This was not a Umrah or Haj travel. Our Whole itinerary schedule was changed with out any notice or email. Apparently only notice, they send TEXT MESSAGE to my land line phone number which i can never get.We were forced to take transit at Jeddah Airport in transit for whole night with an infant and aged grand parents for more than 12 hours. There is no Hotel or any type of accommodation and there is no Visa. I can nt even pay and get a Hotel or room for stay because there is no hotel at all in airport. So after long flights of 16 hours from LAX TO JEDDAH. Enjoy transit and sit on floor or chairs for another 12 hours.and wait for next flight with aged parents and kids including infant baby.Airline Call center for American Travelers is in Middle East and they dont talk if you buy the ticket online. They will give you email contact for any cancellation or change of ticket. They told me they can change the schedule and forced long transit without customer consent. And customer cant even get refund or cancel the ticket.I sent message to email but I got no response from that email.I bought ticket with good faith but very disappointed with the service. They have to provide similar service like other airlines and stop forcing long overnight transit.Very Poor Service
