Getting a haircut at this place is always a great experience! The guys are cool, the conversation is great, watched the Canelo fight while drinking a complimentary pabst. The haircuts and line ups are always on point. And the hot towel and clove after shave finish is phenomenal.

Set up an appointment for a cut and shave. Got there a little before my appointment. Waited and waited and waited. Finally got in the seat. Ended up with a garbage haircut and no shave because he didnt have time. Havent been back since then and wont ever go back.

It was awesome. Walked in, they handed me a beer, cut my hair, styled it. The hot towel and the massage thing after was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and chill group of guys. Definitely going back there

A great place for a great cut. My only problem is they go by appointment. Which isnt a bad thing but for as long as Ive been coming here, which is long, they arent too consistent with their appointments. Besides that cool place to get a hair cut and free beer haha.

Long Beach is lucky to have a few Outstanding Barber shops. Hawleywoods is about as real as you can get. Just by walking through the door you may sprout chest hair and wish your ride wasnt made in the last 40 years.

BLOOD all over my neck. I walked over 7 or 8 blocks to get my beard styled for the first time. I show him 2 pictures of what I want. Hes like OK and goes back to talking with everyone else who works there. I assume he knows what hes doing. He spends 15 minutes doing it and then decides to finish by shaving me quickly WHILE CUTTING ME everywhere.I look in the mirror and am like OK, yeah thats fine. The style was absolutely TERRIBLE and not at all like the pictures and at this point Im irritated and just want to get the f out of there. And then he says thatll be $25. Im dumbfounded. And I go OK, I only have $20 in cash, Ill do card. And he said We dont take cards, go across the street and get money from the ATM. Im shocked, but I go across the street figuring that I can just get out of this situation quickly by hitting the ATM.Guess what? No ATM. I go back and tell him and say lets just call it even at $20 He says, Did I cut half your face? The price is $25 And he said this now like it was a threat. And as he says that all other 3 employees just give me a weird f-ing look. Its just me and them in this place. Then he tells me to go 2 blocks down the other direction and get cash back at the liquor store.I dont know why I did it. Im the type of guy where if the service is terrible, I tip 10% and just leave. I like to be a bigger and better person than everyone else. So I do this, it costs $1.50 to get cash back. And now Im back at Hawleywoods 30 minutes later. I hand him the $25 and he says OK, thanks.Thats it. OK, thanks. Not an apology. No cares in the world. And remember, this is all for a BLOODY beard trim that he completely screwed up.If I could give 0 stars, I would. I hope they all die in a fire.
