I been coming here for a year and everyone is very professional, and kind. My hair was very dry when I first came in there. They taught me so much about my texture of hair and always recommend high quality products that I love. Thank you so much for your expertise. I always get treated like a queen. I have been trying to find the right cut for my head at a few different barber shops now. I explained to the stylist at Sport Clips that my last one went very badly. I couldn’t imagine it getting much worse. I was wrong. Explaining that my last cut pushed the part in my hair too far over to one side, the plan was to style it back to where it normally should be. On the first cut, this stylist took a pair of clippers directly into the center of my part. I’ve never seen that before, on anyone any where. The rest of the haircut was probably the most stressful cut I’ve experienced. She was a nice gal and definitely tried to make something out of her blunder, but it wasn’t enough to keep me from walking around with my hat on for the remainder of the summer. She offered half off my haircut but honestly, Sport Clips should’ve comped both my haircut AND my son’s (and his trim turned out just fine). Either way, I don’t plan on coming back again.

Clean shop and the stylists were socially distanced, i felt safe. My haircut was great and the stylist was friendly.

Let me say this was my first time at Sports Clips and Stevie hooked me up!! She was friendly and professional and made me feel very welcomed. I will most definitely be going back!!!

Nice location in Long Beach but the stylist I encountered didnt show a friendly attitude towards me. My questions were not listened to and received negative sarcasm. Perhaps some training in courteous and professional customer service should be revisited to every employee despite what kind of day they are having. Perhaps then this place can be a better salon to visit and create a better experience for other customers who show up for a haircut.

I had my hair cut for a job interview here by a woman with large gauges and dyed hair yesterday. She didn’t seem too happy to have a customer, and she rushed my haircut so fast, she cut above my right ear WAY higher than the other side. She also left the bottom of the back of my head with a small chunk gone. I guarantee she noticed the mistake, but chose not to say a word about it. She clearly just wanted to get me out of the store. Time for me to find a local barber.

I wish no stars were available simple mens haircut cut of half of my side burn VERTICALLY and then missed a ton of hair around my ear. I didnt notice untill I got home I will be returning tomorrow to try to at least get my money back for this HACK JOB

Ive been going to this place ever since they opened and I love all the employees there. They seem happy and enthusiastic about their job. They all cut well and seem like theyre enjoying themselves. My favorite hairstylist is Hannah but she hasnt been there for a while so I have been letting the other ladies cut my hair. A few weeks ago I had gone in before school for a complimentary clean up to keep my hair cut looking sharp but it came out looking worse. A lady named Carla seemed like she was in a rush at 9:00 am, even though I walked in right as the doors opened and there was no one else their. She was very violent and rough with the clippers, when she was done my left ear hairline was noticeably higher than my right. I just let it go because I figured she hadn’t had her coffee yet. I went less than 30 minutes ago and Carla cut my hair again. For the second time she was lazy and rough with her clippers and trimming. While she was trimming the sides she was just slapping the clippers on my head. She put so much force my skin is now all red and irritated around the edges. When she trimmed the top she just evened everything out rather than layer it like I had asked. She also trimmed my side burn crooked and uneven. To top it off she didnt even put the toilet paper wrap around my neck so Im writing this with my back filled with little hairs making me itch. This is a review of the particular stylist I had not the place as a whole.

Great place to go

I went here because I got a free hair cut from the Red Cross. There was no waiting and Tamara was very helpful and, she kept asking me if it was ok . When she finished she ask if I liked it and I told her I wanted it a little bit more short . She did a great job.

I had a pleasant experience at Sports Clips. No waiting, got a prompt and pleasant greeting, free upgrade (for first time customers) and was in and out with a smooth cut in 25 minutes.

Love you this place. They are following all of the sanitary steps to help make customers feel safe. Thank you do your best.

If I could give the manager Ashley Glenn 20 stars I definitely would she is very thorough and attentive with her customers. I have never had a haircut experience like that in my life. Her people skills are amazing.

I love the online check-in. You can check yourself in on their website and also see how long the wait currently is. Im not one to choose a particular stylist. Ive had several had this location and they have all been super friendly and they have all given me a great cut.

Pretty sloppy cut, but it was fast. I got a free shampoo rinse afterwards, but guess what they dont even dry your hair they just let you walk out w/ a wet top! So classy...

Got a decent hair cut there awhile back. If I planned on cutting my hair I would more than likely go there to get it done.

Haircut wasnt bad but Id expect the manager to be way more professional. I was waiting to get my haircut while she was on her phone for a couple minutes while other worker was cutting hair. Wasnt a big deal. Fastest haircut Ive ever gotten. (I think she had important business to get back to on her phone) Then I asked her to line my beard up so she did that but SHE LEFT HALF OF THE HAIRS STILL ON MY NECK. Like the hairs were clearly visisble once I had my glasses on. I didnt notice the unshaven hairs until I got home. And her additude was a bit off as the guy below said. Never going back again
