We discovered we had a water pipe break this past Sunday morning. I called Aaron and he arrived within a couple hours. He and his team worked straight through for 8 hours and returned the next day for additional work. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. Aaron handled all paperwork electronically and documented everything with videos and photos. He demonstrated excellent communication and helped me tremendously by contacting a plumber, flooring expert, drywall expert, and content packout company. All the professionals were there within days to do any immediate work and give estimates, etc. Aaron returned each day to check on the drying equipment and communicated with me each day about his arrival time. By the fifth day, the drying mats, humidifiers and fans on the hardwood floors had done an excellent job and they had everything cleaned up within a couple hours. That same day he had all the necessary documents submitted to the insurance adjuster and insurance company. Aaron and his team made my home water disaster feel seamless. Exceptional service was provided from beginning to end.

Company was great. They arrived very quickly to help out with our water damage in the kitchen. The crew was knowledgeable and nice to talk too. I had mold from a second floor toilet leak and missing drywall from the water leaking onto the first floor ceiling. I liked that they did the complete job; mold remediation, replace drywall and painting. They did it all at a reasonable price and my powder room looks better than before the leak. And Aaron was pleasant to deal with.

Aaron at Water Medics was very responsive to my immediate mitigation needs for ice damming that occurred due to the harsh winter. Not only did he arrive the same day I called him for an inspection, he and his crew showed up 2 days later to begin the mitigation process. He worked directly with my insurance company and let them know exactly what would be done to prevent further damage. His crew was polite, responsive, and cleaned up after the work was completed.

We experienced a burst pipe in an inner wall and resultant flooding throughout our laundry, kitchen, dining room, and basement on a Sunday night. I quickly researched water mitigation companies and saw that Chicagoland Water Medics’ reviews were excellent. I called and left a message, and within minutes I received a call back from Aaron. He quickly gathered his team and they arrived within the hour. He and his team were extremely efficient, professional, knowledgeable and empathetic to our plight! They worked until midnight, were careful to work around us and our big dog, and Aaron patiently reassured us and answered any and all questions throughout. He tested all areas for signs of water, stripped baseboards where needed, moved appliances, moved ALL our storage from the crawlspace, opened drywall, removed insulation—removed remaining water and set up industrial fans throughout to adequately dry everything out and to completely guard against rot and mold. He suggested an excellent plumber and carpenter/painter to followup. He spoke with each of them personally for me the next day, shared his pictures and report, and they both contacted me immediately and scheduled visits. You know, I just can’t say enough about Aaron’s work ethic, his team and network, and the terrific job he did for us in a very trying time. And he’s a great guy! I am a stickler for quality, and I recommend Aaron and Chicagoland Water Medics highly and without any hesitation whatsoever. Amazing service. Had a bad problem on my hands in my basement that needed attention right away. I called a different company and they didnt show up when they were supposed to and I also didnt trust their pricing and what they were suggesting about using my insurance. I called Chicagoland Water Medics and got Aaron and he was at my house--at 7:30 at night--within an hour. He stayed until 2 am cleaning things up! I had the pleasure of working with Aaron and his team this week after discovering significant water damage from an unknown source. He was initially very helpful over the phone, but with discovery and remediation well beyond my capabilities it was an immense relief to have them onsite the next day. Everything from his estimate/invoicing system to equipment to mannerisms is the level of professionalism you would expect from a Deloitte or Ernst & Young, not the one-off contractors you typically find for jobs like this. Helps that Aaron is just an all around good guy, so I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Aaron was highly responsive, the team came at the scheduled times including late on a Friday evening. They worked quick and took care of all the water damage, leaving equipment for 2-3 days before returning to pick it all up. Would recommend Chicagoland Water Medics to anyone and everyone.

April 8, 2020...my parents basement flooded in the main laundry room. They called Aaron for help. By the time i arrived, he was already on the scene. My parents proved to be quite hesitant in retaining his services. Aaron patiently (for 2hrs!!! ) explained what needed to be done and why. He showed an uncommon level of concern for my parents well-being. He also provided a very detailed estimate of the damage. I had the opportunity to review the estimate myself. I felt as though I was throughly informed about what needed to take place. Unfortunately they declined his services. Nonetheless Aaron showed that in times of emergency he and his company are highly efficient and I would definitely recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about Chicagoland Water Medics. We had a pipe burst unexpectedly which left our living room and floor vents full of water. I called CWM and they were there that same day and had the floor up and the fans and dehumidfier running right away. CWM removed all the debris, cleaned up after themselves, dealt directly with our insurance and were 100% professional. I wouldnt hesitate to refer anyone to Chicagoland Water Medics!

The sky was falling..into my kitchen! Came home at 6pm to water pouring out of the ceiling, and most of the ceiling on the kitchen floor. Aaron and his team were at my home within the hour, starting a complete cleanup while continuing telling me the game plan for the next 2-3 days. A team of 4 showed up the following morning to complete the demo job for the insurance adjuster coming in the following day. They stayed until 8pm and left numerous industrial blowers to start the ‘drying process’. Aaron knew exactly what the insurance company would want to see, and kept samples of cabinets, flooring etc to insure a quick turnaround on an insurance estimate AND PAYMENT! I appreciated their fastidious clean up too. Very thankful for their professional and compassionate demeanor during the initial 72 stressful hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
