Dave and his team, showed up within 90 minutes of our call at 8:30 pm, to take care of our flooded finished basement due to a frozen water pipe. Despite the late hour, the guys did a professional job and came back promptly next morning to continue their work. The basement was dried thoroughly, the drywall and moldings were replaced well and in a timely fashion and their interaction with our insurance company was seamless. We are very pleased with the service we received and we highly recommend AdvantaClean of Dupage County.

While there were some initial, unforeseen challenges and problems that resulted from the first visit to my attic to clean mold, the team at AdvantaClean, led by Dave Maga, was very professional. They came back soon after the uncovered issues, took a lot of time to answer my questions and address concerns. I had concerns about mold in my home based on a slight discoloration near the baseboards above my crawlspace. Jerry and Rudy from AdvantaClean performed a thorough inspection of the areas in question and very clearly explained what they would expect to see for mold growth (fortunately my case didnt show any of the signs). I appreciated their close inspection, but also their candid explanations of what they observed. Id trust them to do honest work in the future.

I would not work with this company again. They sent two guys, one had an attitude that was deplorable. They do not give an estimate, they just start working. When you get the bill there is no detail or explanation of the services they provided. When you question the bill they tell you they use a program that has no detail or relevance. I got a bill of over $2,000 for work that lasted about an hour, I did have a few machines left for drying but I see no reason I should be charged what appears to be the cost of those machines. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

We felt we had a possible mold situation in our basement. Jerry was great to work with. On time and did a great job of explaining in great detail the possible issues involved in our basement. It turned out that the situation was minor and he didnt push for some expensive treatment. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Advanta clean did a good job at our house for a water clean damage. Eric from their main office drove the project pretty well overall. Dave Moga the project manager/sales also was nice to work with since he was excellent in follow up. Their work was phenomenal. My reluctance to give five stars is only due to a bit higher pricing, extended days (took more days to finish job) and their reluctance/in-ability to get home owners insurance involved in the process.

Save yourself money and stress- USE SOMEONE ELSE!I had AdvantaClean recommended to me by my insurance agent after we had problems with our original restoration company overcharging for drying and their extremely slow and sloppy effort. Unfortunately, our problems did not go away. The most important thing to us was getting the main floor of the house livable (flooring, kitchen back together, and toilet) as quickly as possible- our family of 5 had been living in a hotel for a month at this point! We made it quite clear that speed was first priority! They did clean the mess left by the first company quickly. But, after that, it was delay after delay! We had to find and pay painters ourselves because their painters weren’t available for a week. We ordered the flooring prior to hiring them. And, in spite of having a confirmed delivery date and a promise from the contractor that someone would be able to install them as soon as they were cured, no one was available until a week later. After several extra days of constant nagging, the contractor found someone (not one of his preferred guys) to “do us a favor” and install after hours. This exact scenario happened again with the kitchen cabinets. We even did all the unboxing of the cabinets ourselves in order to help them “fit us in.” Each time “his guys” weren’t available, despite having several weeks to schedule it. We were made to feel like we were rushing him into doing an inferior job, and he was always doing us a favor by getting someone else to do it. Everything we had ordered arrived on time and they had weeks to schedule! And, again, my family had been living in a hotel for almost 2 months by that point… our dogs were being boarded! Every day was costing us more and more money and stress! We also wound up hiring an electrician friend and our own plumber since his guys weren’t available until after we needed them to come (and, there was a significant price difference). Ultimately, we decided to not have AdvantaClean continue on to finish restoring our basement playroom and office. BUT, somehow, the bill we received was almost $4,000 MORE than was originally agreed upon by the insurance adjuster and the contractor. Both the adjuster and I have repeatedly asked AdvantaClean for a more broken down invoice to see where the discrepancy is, but neither of us has gotten anywhere. Instead, AdvantaClean had a lawyer send us a letter threatening to put a lien on the house if we don’t just pay what they say we owe them. Ultimately, I was given the impression that they feel like they lost money on our job because we didn’t use “their guys” and it was “rushed.” The contractor, Dave, was actually a really nice guy- but, AdvantaClean is really raking us over the coals. Do yourself a favor and look for someone else!---- They paid it cause you came after us with a lawyer and were not willing to negotiate.. You forced everyones hands. They did not pay it I DID! Our insurance adjust never talked to you guys again your full of lies.

We hired AdvantaClean to perform a duct cleaning of our entire home shortly after moving in after discovering alot of dust around our vent registers. From start to finish, AdvantaClean did an excellent job. They stayed late to finish what ended up being a very tough job and were extremely professional. The two technicians performing the work were excellent and courteous in our home laying down rug and wearing shoe covers over our carpeting to avoid tracking anything. They showed up 10 minutes early and shared details of the duct cleaning throughout the 7 hour process. I would recommend them to anyone looking to improve the air quality in their home.

We had a bad mold problem that was getting worse everyday. They found the source of the problem, a roof leak, and then completely got rid of the mold issues. This meant taking out almost two walls in a small bathroom and a wall and a half in an adjoining room with a little of both ceilings as well.All the work was completed extremely professionally and all the workers were people that respected the rest of our home while doing the job, which included demolition, drywall, painting and plumbing.Randy Moon was the AdvantaClean contact that we worked with and I simply cant say enough wonderful things about the way in which he handled the situation. Everything was done in the time frame estimated.We now have a mold-free home and a new bathroom and office to boot. This was covered by our insurance, and Randy was helpful with communications to our insurance agent as well. He also recommended a roofing company that made sure no further leakage would be recreating the problem in the future. All-in-all an incredible experience. We wouldnt hesitate to use them again or recommend them to any of our friends.
