I used Jiffy Lube on my lunch break from work so I was not in my usual neighborhood. The team was efficient and helped me decided what service / product was best for my older, high mileage vehicle. I especially love that this location (Roosevelt Rd in Glen Ellyn IL) employees a person with disabilities. This employee was hard working, focused, and performed assigned tasks very well under the direction of the team lead. Kudos to Jiffy Lube for responsible and community-focused hiring and maintaining a team with such high standards and commitment to service!

Zero Stars but I had to put one! I got an oil change at the Lombard, IL location, store #194. It was a quick oil change but done extremely poor. The wait was forever and once I got pulled into the bay, they started working before they can even ask me how many miles I have on my vehicle. The oil change was SUPER PRICEY. And the mechanic person told me my coolant tank was low and if I wanted it filled for an additional 5.99. I said yes, BUT he also said the same thing to the other two vehicles that had been in the bay parallel to me...not only did I get the coolant top off but they spilled anti-freeze all under my hood. When the man told me to start my car, it began smoking from the burning anti-freeze. Not only that, they we in such a hurry due to the line being long, they did not reset my car oil life to read that I have an oil change. When I called the store to inform them of that, the man said we changed your oil, we have cameras, but if you want us to reset the oil life of the car you need to come back now or another day because we close in 30 minutes I was already miles from the shop. I was unable to get into the shop because I worked the weekend and customer service was closed, so I called Monday. I informed the customer service rep that I was highly unsatisfied with Jiffy Lube and their service done to my NEW car, I barely had the car a year and never had a problem getting oil changes at other oil change shops...but the one time I take my new car to Jiffy Lube I have to deal with my car saying I need an oil change when I JUST got one and the smell of burning anti-freeze THREE days later. It scares me and never again do I trust the Lombard Jiffy Lube location.

Rude. I showed up at this location and of the 3 oil change stations, only the middle one was open. I was asked to park in the middle, behind a car that was getting work down. I was told that they were emptying or cleaning out the oil in the right-side change station and when that was ready, I could drive in. Wait time would be about 25-30 minutes which was fine.After maybe 10 minutes, another customer drives up and parks behind the right-side station. He runs inside and they opened the door for him, he drives up and gets his car looked at.Really? I had called earlier in the week and asked if this location took appointments and I was told yes but its better to just show up since its first come first serve. But I guess that didnt apply to me.One of the older gentlemen JL techs (tall, white, beard) kept looking at me while doing signal checks on the other guys car lol idk what that was about.I drove off after trying to wave down the JL tech who initially talked to me but he was busy so fine. I went to the JL in Oakbrook Terrace on Summit and they were polite and much more attentive.

Domingo, Glenn, & Marcus (gosh I hope I got your names right!) were all super helpful! My wait was short, and I was certainly entertained while I waited. They were attentive and honest. Told me what they recommended but made sure I knew my options! 10/10 would recommend :)

Domingo, the general manager, was thorough and explained a situation regarding a PT Cruiser my mom has about her cars oil filter. He said that he was able to install one, whereas another oil change service location told me that the year of the vehicle she has made it difficult to do so. I appreciated his honesty.

It was my first time using jiffy lube as my husband usually does the whole car stuff for me but I was super impressed with Glen & Domingo!!!! Both were very professional and carefully explained everything to me not only with their service but their knowledge and answered all my questions.They were very safe with covid restrictions and very quick and efficient in service. The staff were managing the limited staff available with 2 bays open. They appeared to communicate well with each other considering the high humidity.The services were explained to me b4 any work eas performed. I was explained the Covid protocol of touchless interactions and my reciept was emailed to me. Staff appeared patient with customers who needed more explaining. I was able to use my $10 off coupon which helped.

Elderly friend of mine got an oil change, and the business must have not screwed on the oil cap or something, because in the evening of that same day, the car died on a crowded freeway. The owner of the Jiffy Lube agreed to have the car towed to a mechanic who said there was no oil, but has then blocked the mechanic, and my friend from making calls. Meanwhile my friend has had to rent a car.This business is not taking responsibility for this mistake.Edit: We have contacted JiffyLube repeatedly using the email in the response by the owner. They responded they sent the complaint to the department head, but still no answer. Like Gabriel Gonzalez who had a similar experience, and has not had a good response, we are very unhappy.I suspect the positive reviews are paid reviews, as Mr Gonzalez and us have had the same awful experience.Avoid this place.

This will always be my go-to place! Everyone here is great. Domingo is always so professional, kind, attentive, and makes sure I leave with a full understanding of what they did with my car. Since Covid, they have you pull up and stay in your car while all the work is getting done. They have always completed work in a timely manner and are always sure to update you along the way.

I had a great experience with Domingo and Oran! I stopped here shortly before they closed on a Thursday night and I fully expected them to turn me away but they accepted me with a smile. I couldnt have been there more than 15 minutes as the service was very quick and the guys were very kind. They even cleaned my windows and mirrors while I waited, which in all my years of getting an oil change has never happened before. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was due to the price of my oil change being over $100 but the customer service was outstanding

I have come many times to this shop now and they have managed to break something every so often, from the oil dip stick of one of my cars to the tire air stem as well as the undercarriage cover of my new car.They are sloppy and do things quick and in a hurry and do not take the appropriate time to put things back correctly, so they dont fall apart later on.Not sure if this is a company policy, to do things quick and in a hurry forgoing quality, or if their employees are careless or not well trained.They did fix the first two items, but have not fixed the undercarriage cover yet. Their techs did not put all the screws back, which would hold it in place and the cover fell off on the highway getting damaged. They promised they would fix it, but still waiting.I would not recommend this place.UPDATE 6/29/2021I was contacted by Jiffy Lubes corporate office and was assured that a district manager would contact me to get the issue resolved and several weeks have past since then and have not received a call from anyone and the damage to my car still remains unrepaired.

The oil change took a half hour. They filled my oil half way, then told me to come back in a month to top it off for “half price”.

Came here on a Sunday, 1/17/21, only one man working. He explained that the oil change would take longer because he was alone. Being Sunday, I had no problem with it. He worked as quickly as possible and knew what he was doing. Noble for him to press on considering a co-worker probably called in sick.Give this man a raise or bonus! He deserves it for his dedication, a rare quality.

In the previous visit, I didnt have a good experience. The valve caps on two tires were not reinstalled and the maintenance minder was not reset. I visited again last week. But, this time the service was great and everything was taken care of very professionally by service technician Domingo. He is thorough, diligent, professional, and courteous. Im happy. Ill return again for service.

I took both my vehicles in for oil changes. I’ve been going to this location for years. Mr Domingo is the manager and I got to tell you, he runs a great location there. He is professional and treats the customers and his employees very well. Jiffy Lube, this is the kinda guy you need to keep and give him multiple stores. Went for a standard oil change recently and when they finished, they did not remove the jiffy lube wheel cover from under my car hood when they shut it. I couldn’t see it until I was driving away and it started to flap up and down and I had to pull over and remove it.... as I did this I thought, what else did they forget. Only to see they barely screwed my tire valve caps back on... to be honest I’m sure they missed a few more things but I won’t be returning to have them look at it

The guys there are super chill and helped me out a lot. Thought I needed an oil change but they let me know I wasn’t due yet so they just topped of my car with no charge. Fantastic service!

I wont knock them on long it took because of the circumstances but prices for my 2011 Toyota oil change was too much, should have just went to the dealership. $100 for 5 quarts of 0W-20 and a filter, plus service...am I tripping or is that too much??

If you have all day to wait this place is for you. I have never seen slower employees in my life. It is embarrassing. Update I left after a long wait. They never sent me my invoice through the email as promised. No new sticker put on and charged me $83 for a semi synthetic oil change and topping the anti freeze. After looking at what most Jiffy Lubes charge I believe they cheated me out of money. Definite overcharge. Without sending me the receipt no way to check. Its because of their no get out of car COVID policy. Stay away. Much faster and less expensive options. I learned a lesson.

They took care of my issue in a quick and timely manner. The price was comparable and I was satisfied that my issue was resolved.

The location in Lombard was worth the trip. They were open, had what I needed. I was in and out quickly and the techs make it worth it. This is my spot to go to.... its worth the drive.

Despite the fact that it was open, I did not change the oil in my car because the employee refused to perform the service. He told me to come the next day because he couldnt use the computer. He agreed to change the oil in my car, if I would pay him cash!

Im from out of town, getting ready to take a road trip and needed a quick oil change. So I decided to take a chance with the national chain. My experience did not disappoint! Domingo greeted me immediately, was very helpful, and within 20 minutes, I was on my way with fresh oil, correctly aired tires, topped fluids and a vacuumed interior! Convenience is what you pay for here, Oil change is Overpriced ..go elsewhere if you have time, my dealership was booked up so I had to go here ...charged me 90$ for full synthetic oil change and said he would add a $10 coupon but he never did .

Night and day difference from last time I was there!!Last time I stopped by I was greeted by a guy who clearly didn’t want to take care of us. Apparently that whole team is no longer there. Domingo (I think that was his name) and his team did a great job this time. They were super friendly and got us in and out.There was a lady in front of us with two kids and Domingo made them feel special and let them “help” out.

They promise me for Tier Rotation is free with oil change when I was there after change oil he declined to Rotation. I dont like this place.

He did not push on me things that I didnt need, but instead recommended what I should do now and/or what time frame I should take care of certain things. A very pleasant and knowledgeable person.

This time I went in for a Signature Oil Change, new air filter and new window blades. I always feel better when they show me that they taken out the old and put in the new. ( now a days you don’t know if people are doing what they say they are going to do) I was in and out in no time and the service was great. Thank you Domingo and staff.

Ive had my oil changed several times at various Jiffy Lube locations for many years. I believe they provide reasonable prices and offer great service. This was my first visit to the Lombard location and it wont be my last. The staff greeted me kindly and here was very professional. They were quite helpful and honest about telling me what my new Nissan Murano needed. The customers waiting room was very clean also. My car was ready to go within 20 minutes or less. What a great shop!
