The staff were amazing. I am from out of state and was left stranded in a parking lot. Almost superhero like, they were able to have me towed to the shop and rapidly find the necessary parts to repair my truck and have me back on the road within a couple of hours. There are not even words to express how grateful I am for the service they provided me. It was far more than just repairing my vehicle. They gave me the ability to get home to my family. They went 1,000 times beyond what is required of an auto repair shop. I highly recommend their business to any and all customers in the area and out of town. Friendly, fast, and quality work. Mike Cork is a super hero. An oil change at my car dealer revealed a seriously worn tire. This was a day before a planned trip to see family now that we’ve all had 2 shots. I called Mike on the way home from the dealer. He immediately went to work and found 2 tire options. I selected the Michelin’s and then he worked on getting them delivered the same day. He squeezed me into the schedule and I was able to make the trip as planned. (Incidentally, I love the new Michelin’s.) Every time (over at least 20 years) I’ve needed help, Mike has come through for me or my friends and family. I trust his judgement when making a tire decision; he has never been wrong. A rarity today.

I have taken several vehicles here and every time they have done a great job. The owner, Mike, knows his stuff and is honest. He takes time to explain things and tries to find the best fit for you. I brought one car in for tires and brakes. They looked at the brakes and told me I probably had 10k more miles on them and saved me some $. This last time I was in and had my young son with us. He gave me a “new family discount” just because. High recommend for any service.

My tire was low and I stopped in for air. The man in the office helped me and got me on my way without one issue. I surely appreciated him and his great service.

I recently became stranded in Lombard on a Monday when the alternator in my 1997 Honda Civic went out and the bottom bolt was too stripped to get it off so I took it to the closest mechanic I could find which happened to be Tire Connection. On THURSDAY I got my car back with a bill of $434.05....Alternator: $195.32Battery: $81.00Labor: $134.94Ive changed probably 30 alternators in my lifetime and the Alternator for my Honda is closer to $100 with a $60 core charge that I usually got back after purchase at most overpriced auto parts stores... Im pretty sure the battery was fine because we were able to charge it up and drive the car to them over a mile away but I was smooth talked into buying one in case. When I called to see how much it would be they tried talking me into repairing a bunch of things as is par with most of these places. Labor was $89.95 an hour @ 1.5 hours on top of paying 3x retail for parts. removing 3 bolts with the proper tools and a stripped bolt socket does not take an hour and a half... I only make $18 an hour, I guess I chose the wrong profession.... When I approved the repairs I specifically told them not to replace the belts because I just wanted to get it home at that point but when I called to check on the car they said they were waiting on parts but my belts were there... Really happy I didnt see an overcharge on my bill for belts... Im guessing most of these other reviews are friends of the people running/working at this place because its all a bunch of malarkey drummed up to get ratings.After all this I did a little looking into this shop and also found a post on ripoffreport dot com

Every time I go there, whether for maintenance or a problem, Mike and Tony will make it happen. They call when they say they will, the prices are fair. The atmosphere of the office/waiting area is like Cheers without the bar...all regulars and friends. It is great to have complete trust in an auto service shop!!

Tried to get new tires, called and visited with no luck. No answer and shop closed on a Saturday. Not sure if they have closed due to the Pandemic? I hope not.
