I have been taking our cars to Nofsingers for at least 10 years. They are great at what they do. They are honest and straightforward. The work is professionally done and with reasonable charges. They have been keeping my 2007 Infinity running great. The most recent works was to replace the head gasket and do the 100,000 mile work on our Subaru Forester. Chris usually gets my vehicles to work on. The car now runs great and we are set to have it work for us for a long time to come.

Had Chris fix my car, we at first thought it was the starter which it wasn’t. After figuring it wasn’t the starter even offered to take it back and replace it with my original starter but decided it’s best to keep the new one. Chris took the extra effort to fix my car in the cold and figure it out for me after not knowing what exactly it was causing it not to start, he had great customer service and communication on what was being done with my car and what other problems it had that were minor. I feel very confident that my car was in good hands.

I recently had my 2006 Acura TSX in for service and they did a great job. I had a spark plug kit installed to repair an oil leak and hesitant acceleration. They were honest and professional, Id go back.

Nothing but great experiences with Nofsingers. My family and I have learned to trust Nofsingers mechanics over the dealerships thanks to the regularly lower cost of repair, honest summaries on the condition of the vehicle, and more personal touch they are able to provide. Also, Nofsingers will look over your vehicle free of charge (from my experience).

They replaced a starter. Their guy told me exactly how to fix it on my own before they did any work; he was trying to help me out by telling me how to do it free. I ultimately asked them to fix it. All pricing was transparent and upfront. Very fast service.

Found the shop via Yelp a few months back while looking for a place locally to have my breaks done. Not only did they respond to my request the quickest, but they were up front and told me to only replace my front brakes and come back later to do the back. Well, I’m going back there to get them done this week. I knew I would go back there without a doubt; a small business deserves loyal customers because of their honesty!

This is the first internet review Ive ever bothered to write. Recently went to Nofsingers to have a used car evaluated for purchase by my daughter. She and I appreciated the polite and very friendly interaction we had with multiple technicians, and found that they did a very thorough job. We live about 30 minutes away, so there are many auto shops closer to us, but I am seriously considering making the drive in the future to Nofsingers.

The only honest auto shop I know. They wont suggest any work that is not needed. Their prices also beats the dealer. Ive been taking my car to them for several years now since I found them on Angies list. They must have saved me thousands of dollars by now.

By far the best auto repair shop i have been too! Not only did they fix my car a few years back, they gave me much needed tips on what to watch out for. Definitely better than fair pricing on repairs, etc. If you need a serious repair done I wouldnt go to any other shop other than this one, the best customer service I could ask for & more; I absolutely love this place and the guys working here are miraculous with their work. I definitely recommend anyone in the vicinity to this place and well be coming back later if need be.

Outstanding service! You get to speak directly to the mechanic that will be working on your car, not a service writer at a desk who will never see your car. Their pricing is fair and in line with the market and their workmanship is simply second to none. Worth every penny!

Honest Professionals!I am a very mechanically proficient customer. So I know when Im getting a good deal, and when Im being scammed. I have immense respect for any business owner (especially mechanics) that do not attempt to rope their customers into buying something they dont need.Before finding Nofsingers, I went to 3-4 shops for estimates on an engine related issue. EVERY other shop said I needed an intake gasket replacement (part=$30). It was going to cost around $800-1,000 in labor, because you need to take a lot apart to get to it. Nofsingers looked at it, and said we can replace the gasket, but it isnt completely necessary, nor hard to do, just time consuming. Your vehicle may get slightly less MPG, but it will not harm the engine. Or if you want to do the work yourself, well show you what to do. So I did the work myself, and prepared to pay them for their diagnostic testing etc, but when I picked it up they said it was free! All the other shops charge around $100 to diagnose something. (Which is fair) But Nofsingers has seen my vehicles a half-dozen times, and twice now recommended not fixing it, nor did they charge me anything! WOW. Not only is that very honest, it takes a lot of confidence in your business to not feel the need to do work that a customer thinks they need...when they dont need it. For that reason, they will always be my 1st call.THANK YOU Nofsingers.

My family has been coming here since the early 90s. They are so honest and fair here. I trust Mark and all his staff with my cars. I just stopped by today. Had a nail in my tire. Took it out and come to find out it was just the head of the nail. No puncture at all. Took to our dealership prior to stopping by Marks and they wanted $490.00!!!! Said tire had to be replaced and balanced, plus service charge. Please! There just is no one around as Honest as Mark Nofsinger. Always a satisfied customer! Called to set an apt to get my wife’s car looked at, was told to call in the morning to see when I could bring it in that day because it was a simple muffler inspection/estimate, called and was told they weren’t taking anything for over a week, the people there don’t communicate with each other properly.

I moved from the city about 15 years ago, couldnt find a reliable place to take my car, I know enough to know when Im swindled. Got to Nofsingers and I was greeted with amazing customer service by the mechanics who seem to have great pride in the operation and take ownership of the work. I always feel safe when I drive my cars off their premises because I know they have look at everything and doubled back to inspect their work, they are reliable, quick, trustworthy and prices are fair.

Nofsingers is the absolute best! I have been taking my cars here ever since I moved to the western suburbs several years ago. Nofsingers Auto Repair is very honest, thorough, professional, and overall are great mechanics!! They always put their customers first. An auto dealership which will remain nameless recommended I get some work done on my car, which seemed a little suspect to me. I called Nofingers, and asked them if they thought I needed to get the work the dealership recommended. Nofsingers explained to me why I didnt need to get this work done (the dealership was of course trying to gouge me for more money). That is just one example of how Nofingers always has the best interests of their customers first and foremost. I will continue to take my car to Nofingers for as long as I live in the western suburbs, and will recommend (as I have been) their services to friends and co-workers.

Ive taken my car in a few times there-usually they do a great job. This time, I asked them to identify what was causing the TPMS light to be on; instead they did everything else BUT that. Also asked them to change the transmission fluid; said they dont do that anymore. Overall, very disappointed.

My father has been going here for years now, and I just went in for a very minor issue that could have been worth a few dollars to them, but they didnt even charge me. I definitely plan on going to this shop next time I have a more serious issue - very honest and integrity driven place. Thanks!!
