Id give more stars if I could! Totally found this place on the fly as another local auto place that we called couldnt fit us in to look at a used car we were interested in. Monro Auto was super accommodating and helpfully took us in promptly. They test drove the car and got it up on the hoist, revealing the horrible water damage under this nicely polished lemon. The mechanic took the time to professionally take us under the car and explain the issues. Needless to say, the said used car was not bought and years of hassle, money and stress will not be spent. We spoke with the new manager/owner, Jared who was very upfront and personable. They didnt even charge us for the evaluation! (normally a $45 charge). We will definitely be return customers and support this honest local business!

I have been going to this tire facility for well over 20 years way back when they were Harlow tire. I Probably have bought well over 25 sets of tires from them over the years . Ever since Monroe tire took over this facility customer service has slowly gone downhill. Last year my wife had a slow leak on her new tire and I had to take the tire back four times before it was finally replaced ( with a non matching tire by the way ) as the patch was ground down to the steel belt and it would not seal. Also my wifes wheels on her car and mine have been nicked apparently because the technicians are not careful enough with their air tools.My last visit here was also for a slow leak in one of my tires recently purchased from you. As I inspected the car after had been pulled out again another nick on one of my wheels. I Called the manager out to look at it and he called the technician to look at it and he says he didnt dismount that tire. Well they were all taken off for balance so it came from somewhere. The manager just turned around and walked away from me not saying a word.I paid extra for lifelong balancing and rotations but I can tell you this last visit was my last to Monroe tire. The Small shop concerns and care that Harlow tire exhibited is long gone since Monroe tire took over.I used to recommend this place to all of my friends and all of my family members came here. Not anymore. Ill find another tire dealer that seems to care more about the customer.Rick G

The employees at Monroe are very good at explaining what you need and do repairs in a timely fashion. Very satisfied with my service at Monroe.

People are generally nice but they do not know how to do their jobs well and dont quality check anything. Took them 3 days to change a serpentine belt which was being done for free due to a shotty exhaust job. I drove to Ann Arbor the next day for work and the belt came off and left me stranded in Ann Arbor about 30 minutes from home. Took another whole day in their shop to put the correct belt on. I would never suggest anyone ever go here.

Went to the Lavonia and Plymouth location last minute for an alignment nervous about having to take my car in. Jordan and Moe got me right in did a wonderful job and were very honest courteous and knowledgeable. They wont try to upsale you a bunch of services that you do not need and that is so important in this industry. I will be returning for all of my car care needs. Thanks guys youre the best.

I made two attempts to get a wheel alignment done at this shop.I made an appointment, went to the shop at my appointment time. I was the only customer there, but I was told that I would have to reschedule.I made another appointment, on a different day. I was turned away again without explanation or any apparent reason.I don’t think they actually do wheel alignments here.

I am quite perturb with this Monro location. The manager/technician attempted to sell me lug nut at $19/ea. They wanted $700 for tie rod job. I understand upsell but they were ridiculous. I asked for 2 front tires to be put on 13 Ford Fusion. I already had the brand new tires. Looks like I will go elsewhere to have wheel alignment completed

These guys at monroe are top notch. Not only did they get me in same day but they had my car back to me by end of shift. They saved me from crawling around on my back and knees for hours doing my suspension. I would highly recommend Monroe to anyone looking for an honest shop that knows their way around any car.-Matt

I had an Allen Wrench stuck in my tire and Ryan helped me by removing the foreign object and plugging the tire for me. I was so stressed out and in a jam, he was so kind and got me going on my way.Definitely 5 star service, these guys know how to treat customers! Thanks Ryan!

I went to Monro Livonia off the recommendation of a family member. I visited the repair shop for a check engine light. I ended up getting my thermostat, rear brake pads, and air filter replace for a reasonable and affordable price for part and labor. Would definitely recommend Monro Livonia. I will definitely use them in the future

I cant thank this center enough for finally putting an end to my tire shopping experience miseries. I ordered tires from Amazon on 6/23/2020, had them delivered to another Monro shop in Ann Arbor. This was an absolute nightmare with that shop and that shop doesnt really follow their posted hours. Without going into too much detail, I ended up contacting the Livonia Plymouth Rd location to see if they could install those tires for me. They agreed. I ended up picking up those tires, and it proved to have been a nightmare picking up the tires from the Ann Arbor shop. Anyway, the Livonia crew installed them for me today 7/2/2020. Very professional crew. I cannot thank the team enough. Great customer service. Professional service. Courteous service. Excellent service. I definitely recommend this Monro shop. I have sent a written lettert to both Amazon and Monro corporate offices to express my sincere dissatisfaction.

Honest mechanics. Our car started shaking at 65mph. When we pulled over my husband said the lug nut was burning hot. Drove into this shop and they took care of us right away. They were detailed in what was going on and took care of us. Highly recommend.

Monro is an exceptional place! They went above and beyond to fix my car after being told by another place to go find a different repair shop because they couldnt get the part out to fix it. Just had my back breaks done. Went to other places and they gave me the run around because I have drums on the back. Very professional and efficient. Price came back a few dollars cheaper than quote. It was only a couple dollars but every little bit counts. Clean waiting area with air. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

The owner Sam is a great guy, and he gives very fair prices and tries to get you in same day or as soon as possible. Ive gotten my oil changed here many times, as well as tire rotations and a transmission flush. They do quality work. Ive also gotten tires at Monro due to their very good lifetime balance and rotation service and warranty.

I am so grateful for the moment I decided to stop into Monroe last week! I had constant shaking in the front end of my Cadillac ATS, and I took it to three mechanic prior to stopping in at Monroe, in which they could not determine the problem. I got there at 5p.m. and by 7p.m., my car was as new. My front strut was replaced, and they determined that the caliber was rusted. After 2 weeks of searching for a solution, Sam was able to determine what the issue was. Sam was very hospitable, as he offered great coffee and carried a great conversation! Thanks Sam!

Sam and his crew are very accommodating and took great care of me and my vehicle. They take their time explaining things and make you feel like you are part of the diagnostic/repair process. Sometimes it is tough to swallow high dollar maintenance and service for an older car with a lot of wear, but Sam and the team at Monro make it easier...make you feel like you are family!

I noticed my 2014 Ford Escape SE making an ungodly screeching sound when I hit the breaks. I knew it was about time for my pads so I stopped in. I not only actually needed my pads but the expected rotors as well, additionally my rear calipers had gone bad. I had entered just as they were closing and they still looked at my car yet told me they wouldn’t be able to complete all the jobs tonight. That was fine, we scheduled everything for the next day and I had my car back before noon the next day. For all the work I had done, I got a great deal and the customer service was on point. Brought the car in for a brake check an replacement, but apparently everything looked good. They told me they werent going to try and sell me something I didnt need. I really appreciated the honesty and would definitely come back if I needed something.

This place tried to charge me 3 times the amount for brakes! They r scamming people. Do not go there. They will rip u off. He told me I needed almost 700 dollars in repairs. I told him he was a scam. And i went down the street and paided 250 and my brakes r perfect.

I walked in one day to see if they could tell me why my car was making a strange noise. The mechanic took it for a test drive and put it up on the hoist. I was actually brought into the shop and shown what was wrong, and the mechanic explained why the noises came up in terms I could understand. I came back another day and still received fantastic service. They even offered in store coupons that I wasnt aware of when I called. Definitely coming back here if my car runs into trouble again!
