We had to wait 40 minutes to even be seen even when we had appointments. My foot was cut pretty bad during my pedicure, and no discount was offered. My technician was very unprofessional and asked me to change my nail color numerous times. The discussions had between nail techs were rude and not professional. I was charged extra because they threw away the nail file they used during my pedicure instead of using it again for my manicure. Worst nail salon experience I have ever had.

Lilly is so amazing!!! She was so sweet and gentle while doing my nails. She also did my nail art and I love how they turned out. Definitely my new favorite nail salon😍.

I just had a lovely pedicure. It is so pretty. The tech did a great job of doing all the steps thoroughly. They even set timers so you aren’t shorted on the massage part. Which is my favorite. I will definitely return.

I love going to Big Red Nails. The staff is always professional and courteous. They are my favorite place in Lincoln to get my nails done, I’ll gladly drive across town for them every single time.

I made appointments for my friend and myself. Our appointments were confirmed via text. However, after we arrived for our appointments we were told to sit and wait after checking in. We waited for over 35 minutes before ONE of us was sat in a pedicure chair. Finally, after another 10 or so minutes my friend was finally sat. I assumed that if we made appointments we would get more prompt service. Neither of us were offered a discount or any type of compensation to rectify the situation. I would not recommend going here, especially if you have anything else to do the rest of the day because making an appointment has no bearing of if you receive service promptly or not. This was my friends first time visiting this nail salon. It didn’t leave a good impression on her and I was less than impressed too.

The people are sweet, pedicure was awesome, my issue is cleanliness. Cut fingernails were right under my hand as I was getting my manicure, . Nothing had been wiped down, during mask wearing covid.

A gentleman who works there did a special design of a swan that represented, for me, my wedding and this was for my silver wedding anniversary trip. He was AMAZING!! Beautiful! Made an appointment and when we arrived we were sat as they helped others. Ended up having to wait 45 minutes to get our pedicures. Upset that we made an appointment and they couldnt take us at that time. I understand waiting but 45 minutes is a bit excessive.

Today Might Have Just Been A Busy Day But The Fact That My Sister And I Have Been Here 4 Hours For Just Pedicures And Full Sets Is Ludicrous. Then To Charge 270 And You Continuously Kept Trying To Squeeze People In While You’re Already Tending To Us Was Very Unprofessional. We Got Here At 12:50pm And My Sister Is STILL In Thee Chair I Got Done About 20 Mins Ago And All He Had Left On My Sisters Nails Was To Paint Them, INSANE! On A Positive Note They’re Nice And Clean But Their Professionalism Needs Some Extreme Work!

Lily did a great job! I just did a classic pedicure with gel polish. My French tips look perfect! The only reason I did 4 stars was because I told her I had just gotten a spray tan the day before and she did scrub it all off my legs calf to ankle.. so that looked interesting. The shop is very clean and was apparently recently remodeled!

Never going here again. They stabbed my nail bed with their tools 4 times and cut my cuticles with the electric nail filer. I went in wanting regular nail polish on a full set and the girl insisted I get shellac or powder. They don’t respect your wants and are very pushy. Color is not good. My nails turned out extremely thick and wide. Just wasted $50 on nails I’m removing tomorrow. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Color a little more black then wanted. Used a polish with magnate and I dont think the magnate was used long enough for a brighter color like in the examples.

There was this gentleman who did pedicure and it was thoroughly professional. Every step he did it was so neat and not in a rush which I liked it. Also their closing time is 8pm which is perfect for me.At other spas - I always used to get my toe nail paint creased or smudged immediately or the very next day ... which means the coatings were not sufficiently dried.But my experience with big red is too good. I really liked their service. My toe nails looked so pretty the next day without any smudges or blanket creases. The gentleman who did my pedicure ... knows the reflexology techniques in the feet.The reason for 4 stars is the wait time. Though I didn’t take appointment, I expected the usual wait time would be maximum 15 minutes, but I had to wait for 30 min or more. It was at 6.45 pm I went and I got the service at 7.20pm I believe. So it’s always better to take appointment. Though their closing time is 8 pm, the staff didn’t bother to wind up the clients fast. I took the herbal pedicure and I enjoyed it

I’ve had a great experience the past few times I’ve gone to get a full set of acrylic nails with shellac. The people who run this business are super nice and make sure to communicate with you on what you would like to have done. They are remodeling and the place is beautiful. I’m definitely not going anywhere but Big Red Nails for my nail services. They have also implemented safety procedures during covid 19 and there’s plenty of hand sanitizer and shields around the salon. I felt comfortable my entire experience.

I think it all depends how you look at it. I enjoy soaking my feet in warm water, using the massage chairs and leaving with a little color on my toes. The price tag is reasonable. Ive been happy with the nail techs Ive gotten.
