I very rarely do you reviews, but this company deserves praise. I had no idea Econobug rebuilt houses, but that’s exactly what they did for us. Dave Stout, contractor, and his exceptional team tore out floors, and basically rebuilt our house from the ground up. Encapsulated our crawlspace, even during torrential rain. Showed up on time every day, and they are the best price around! I highly recommend Econobug. They stand by their work & even came back months later to ensure everything was perfect. Thank you, Dave - you deserve a raise!!

Have had trouble in the past with other bug companies but Wayne out of the Lexington office has been amazing. He has gone above and beyond to help me and to make sure things are done right. So much so that I signed up for their mosquito services which have been great. Wayne even checked up to make sure I was happy with that service also. This is a great company that obviously truly cares about their customers.

They provide their services at our home and business on a quarterly basis. Since they have started we have had almost insect issues or sightings. The few times we have they were quick to come take care of the ants or whatever else we may have called them to take care of at our locations.

I would not suggest this company, The seller of my home hired them to do some repairs to my house before I closed and needless to say 4 weeks later it is still not completed, I have spoke to 4 different people and each one of them do not know the other to tell me anything about my repairs, I cant even use my back door because it will not stay shut unless you dead bolt it. One hand is not speaking to the other as you may say. The quality of the work that was done was unsatisfactory and had to be repaired from the first person doing the job. They came out unexpected ( no phone call just showed up) to do the work with the wrong material was going to come back and never showed back up. I have called the office to speak to a supervisor or manager and no return call as of this morning. I have also had to contact another pest control company to spray the inside of my home as they stated they sprayed and apparently it didnt work. Very unprofessional. Very poor quality of chemicals to get rid of pest. Very unhappy and unsatisfied customer

By far the worst company to have fix water damage. The things they did arent even code. They left out flashing, covered up other damage, in properly installed doors and the use of improper martials. Iam haveing to go back and fix everything they did its that bad.They also sprayed for carpenter bees. The bees never died. I had to have a different company come out spray. after the other company sprayed the bees where all dead on the ground the next day.

Great company and very professional. They were able to educate me while performing the service, explaining why they were doing what they were doing to help protect my home and family. I highly recommend!

TLDR: They came to do repairs on my house, fixed one problem, made another one much worse, then sent me to collections without any kind of notice or effort to fix the problems. -- FULL STORY: I called them out because my floors felt like they would sink when you step on a few spots. I asked them to fix the bathroom and the kitchen. They installed a drop sill and said someone would come by to quality check the work. The bathroom felt much better. The Kitchen felt worse. I waited 3 months and never heard about a quality check or received an invoice. Then they called me and said I needed to pay my bill. I told them about my issues and was told someone would contact me soon to follow up about quality. Magically 3 days later, invoice showed up at my house, but I still never heard back about someone coming to check the work. My original quote from them said to pay an initial down payment, followed by 3 monthly payments. I went online and paid more than 70% of the total balance over two months. When I logged in, my online balance said $0 which seemed strange, but at this point I was working out of the country and managing everything online. Then 9 months after the repairs, I get a call from a collections agency asking for the remaining balance or else I would be sued in the next 2 days. I never received a call, email, or snail mail invoice or notice. Since the repairs, my walls have started to separate from the ceiling and Im waiting for a call back from another company to look at the issues.

We havent seen them this month. Usually they leave an invoice on the door. Maybe the weather has been to bad for them to come out.

Weve been working with Econobug for at least 3 years now. We live on a heavily wooded lot, which is extremely inviting to bugs and rodents. Although our home has proven to be a challenge to keep insect free, our technician Corey has truly provided great service time and time again. He always explains what services he is doing during service calls, what options we have, advice for pest issues that pop up being in the woods and has always been courteous. We have children and dogs in the home, so I appreciate having multiple options for pest control. Prior to having Corey, our lo g time service tech David was also outstanding. This company has great folks in the service field who have great training and experience.

Great place Lacy the office receptionist is friendly and accommodating. When ever I called I have received quick response. Thee technicians are very thorough. The company is awesome. HighlyHighly recommend.

Econ-o-bug had the best prices and most accessible and responsive service in the area that I could find shopping around, to include regular treatment and also termite bonds. I liked how they have quarterly treatment when other companies have monthly treatment only. They treat military very well too.

Friendly professional accounting is a bit off but overall good experience working with this company

The very first time they did work on our house the state inspector caught some major problems and they had to come back and finish it. The impression was that they would cut corners whenever they could.The following years every time I scheduled with them about a month before for an appointment at 4:30 pm (as thats the only time we can get home) the same technician would call 2-3 days prior to the appointment and said that it would not work as he had to pick up his kid from school at that time. Then the lady would call me and we had to reschedule.This year (2020) we scheduled it for January 23 at 4:30 pm and, as always, the technician called two days prior and said that he had to pick up his kid. Then the lady never bothered to call to reschedule and I got busy and forgot it for a while. Finally, today - 4/22/2020 - I called and she said that they could not do it for concrete slabs like ours because of the virus thing. Well, SC did not start the stay-at-home order until late March. Maybe they were so prescient they could advise the governor on what to do.An follow-up on 5/29/2020: we rescheduled in mid May and today a gentleman called Nathan came. He was very professional and fine. Despite his youthful looks he was actually the owner of Econobug, and he told me that he had let go the employee who used to cause problems to our appointments. Nathan did not ask me to revise my review but I feel its warranted.

Who knew they did more than just pest treatments! We are renovating our new house that had major termite damage and Eddie’s team overheard that we had a bad experience with a drywaller and they told Eddie and he quickly sent someone out to repair the previous damage. One thing after another happened and each time they were there for us. I’ve never had a company be there for everything we needed and had such wonderful employees, especially Eddie! Thank you all so very much!

One of them; (Chris Lykes), recently moved into my neighborhood and recommended the service. I was hesitant and reluctantly gave them a chance. The results were phenomenal. Not only is the cost for service reasonable but the service is excellent.After the treatment I told Chris about a few home repairs and he again recommended Econ-O-Bugs service. I wasnt aware this was offered and am pleasantly surprised. He stated that he would probably be the one to do the work of closing all possible entrances for pest and if there is termite damage, he is capable of repairing that also. Econ-O-Bug came out about a month ago and sprayed my yard for mosquitoes. I couldnt even go outside the mosquitoes were so bad but after they sprayed they just disappeared. The treatment really works! its been over a month and still no mosquitoes. I would highly recommend this to anyone and the cost was very affordable. The office personnel and technician that came out were very friendly and also showed up right on time. Best experience in years! thank you Econ-O_Bug!

Set up an appointment for a technician named Chris to come out and waited for two hours with still no word. Finally called the front desk and they said they had our appt but with the wrong address, and the office manager had the nerve to say we made the appt and gave her the wrong address. WORST cut service I have ever experienced. The office manger was rude and thought it all to be comical.

Sent a message online requesting a quote/some more information over a week ago. Got left hanging, never received anything back. No thanks.

We’ve had them come out more than 6 times and they have failed to get rid of our problem, it is very unprofessional of them and we’ve had to fork up money elsewhere to rid the problem ourselves. I will never do service with them again and I will never recommend them.

Worst treatment of pests the first time Aug 8 charged me 125.00 dollars no dead bugs back Sept 6 earliest available appt he used stronger treatment and 50 more dollars now seeing results! I will no longer recommend this company poor service

After realizing that my home had a bed bug problem, I asked around and heard a lot of good things about Econobug. After calling and speaking with one of the ladys in the front office, I felt optimistic that my problem would be handled and made an appointment for a $50 consultation/inspection. On the day of the scheduled appointment, I received a call from a supervisor/technician. He had reviewed my file and had noticed that my particular situation was not perfectly suited for the services they had to offer (possible infestation in hard-to-reach furniture). So instead of taking my money and then offering a treatment plan that wouldnt really take care of my problem, he was up front and gave me great advice on how best to proceed. Disappointed that they couldnt handle my issues, but they earned my respect in how honestly they handled my particular situation! Will be calling them first next time I have any pest control needs.

Great customer service, friendly technician, oh and no bugs. Had a problem with water bugs outside and spiders inside, since i started using this company i have seen zero bugs inside or outside!
