Haas is the best barber in town! Super friendly and talented. He treats his clients like family and that’s the reason he’s always booked up months in advance. The whole staff at Gilt Edge are super friendly, professional, and inviting. I highly recommend them and if I could give more than 5 stars I would!

While I understand that this gentleman runs a appointment only barber shop and gives his clients exclusive attention I am giving this a 1-star rating because without knowing the aforementioned I tried to be a walk in and his ego was over the top. I explained I was not from the area and he was not willing to tell me where any other barber shops were he says he only refers himself. He was very arrogant and not welcoming so I did not book an appointment with him I went a few miles up the street to Ivy League Barber and Beauty where Eric was more than amazing and accommodating they had a very comfortable environment with great music laughs and conversation

HAAS is the man and has been the only barber that touches my hair for a couple of years now. Gilt edge gives great service, takes care of their clients, and my wife loves seeing my fresh cut when I get home. 5 stars all day. 👍

This place is just the best. All of their barber and stylist are amazing and they treat you like family. I have 3 teenage boys and they love when lacey does their hair and we have had the pleasure of having another barber their also and never any complaints. Best place ever and I will never our barbershop

Gilt Edge Barber is a very professional, friendly, clean place where I get my hair cut. Kendra, the owner always has a smile on her face and is the only person in the world who can cut my naturally curly hair the way I like it. Plus she is so fast, a real natural!! My stylist was Tyler, and he is the absolute best! I wanted to chop off 13 inches of hair (scary 🙈) and instead of going straight into it, he took it step by step so I could decide how much I wanted to get cut. He talked to me the entire time and was super patient. He made me feel like every client should when getting their hair done, and I would recommend him to ANYONE. Everyone loved my new hairstyle! I have been coming to gilts edge barber every since it open. Once my Barber left Columbia for good l needed somebody new to go to. I am very picky so I needed it to be somebody great and that I trusted! Thankfully I found Kendra at gilts edge barber. She is absolutely the best. I trust her to do anything to my hair and have confidence it will be amazing. I have since moved to Charlotte and drive all the way back to Columbia for her! I have seen several of the stylists there when I have needed to squeeze in and Kendra wasnt available and they are all amazing and talented. I will be back for sure

The owner of this barbershop is the best barber I have ever had. Ive had over 25 barbers Id say. The shop is always welcoming and the staff are all timely. Not only is their an area for the little ones, the shop also offers snacks and refreshments. Highly recommend.

Jennifer is fantastic and always does a great job! The whole team here is always very personable and they seem to always take care of their customers. If you want a fantastic cut with a top notch straight razor job I definitely would not hesitate to recommend Jennifer. Hands down top notch!!

This place is amazing Haas really cut and edged me up right. They have a cool place for kids to play and the even have snacks and water. Its really a new style shop with an old family style vibe. Kendra and her team(family) is amazing. If your looking to get right or something new for your look, or even just looking for a new barbershop home this is the place. Go see them them will treat you like family. But dont just take my word for it book an appointment or just walk in, but be patient if your a walk in they have appointments I guarentee they will get to you as soon as possible they will do you right.

Its hard to find someone who you trust with your hair but Kendra main concern is hair care! I love her. My mom and I both trust her with our hair. If you go for a trim.... you not getting a hair cut. Prices are also fair and reasonable.
