Solid company for yard maintenance. The landscapers work hard and try to ensure they do a good job. You may want to be onsite a timenor two, too make sure any special needs are explained. My yard has never looked better and with the heat 100+, I am happy not to be sweating or hurting myself pushing a lawn mower around. My lot is 12000 square feet and they charge 40 dollars a week. If I cut my own lawn it takes me 1.5 hours and another hour to recoup. They do as good a job as I would so 40 bucks of my using my time focused on other things, its well worth it.Thanks to the team at Meiers!

We have used Meier’s for two years. We feel that the price is fair for the work done. We have had them mow and spray for weeds and have been happy with the outcome. I have had Meiers handling my lawn for a few years now. They offer good, competitive rates for a solid service. I am only leaving them because I am moving.Their trucks & trailers are professional looking, and it is definitely not a 2-guys in a truck type business. The Meiers team showed up on the same day every week, and as long as I left the back gate unlocked they took care of everything by the time I got home.I would never have to worry about problems with their crew. I have 2 large dogs, and we never had an issue with the workers being able to complete their work. Their guys are all friendly and respectful, and they are reasonable to boot. They always have the yard done super quickly and clean up well after themselves.These guys handled a number of the houses on the street, and we could watch them knock the houses out the whole way down. They are definitely known and trusted in the community. I even shared their woes when I saw one of their beautiful trailers got wrecked into on 3040.100% do recommend.

We have used Meiers Landscape for years for our lawn maintenance and they are very professional, competitively priced (we check), and we get quality work done by long-term employees! Mace Meier owns the company and manages the fleet of trucks and equipment, plus their employees and schedules. He is very professional but has a kind of military vibe when you talk to him, that may make you think hes being gruff, but he really isnt. Just ask him, or let him know. I also believe he probably does well to have that demeanor when directing his crews and running his business. I love doing business with a responsible locally owned company, and they have always been the very best in lawn care!

We had Meiers do our lawn mowing and trimming for over 6 weeks. They did a fantastic job. We also paid them to do general yard cleanup to help get rid of all the weeds in the flower beds etc... Very happy with their service and their price is much lower than other quotes we got.

Pretty dismal customer service.Its rare that I will take the time to do a poor review. Honestly, its usually more trouble than its worth, and I prefer spend my time somewhere other than in front of my computer after a long day at work. However todays experience required a review.The TL/DR version: Service was not given at the usual time. The dispatch came off irritated and rude when we called to let them know we had let our dog out at 5:15pm after being cooped all day waiting for them, and in an effort to coordinate service while keeping our dog safe, we were treated like an annoyance and subsequently cancelled as auto-paying customers by the company for calling too many times about the dog. Seems previous poor reviews are probably more accurate than youd think. Be aware.___Meiers Landscape was contracted by us a few months ago. The service given so far was mostly acceptable. Enough to get us through the season. Today however, after being serviced at 7am for the last several weeks, I arrived home at 4:30pm surprised to find no service had been completed. By 5:15pm when they still had not showed, I assumed they werent going to and let our golden retriever out to eat, potty and play, and left again for time sensitive errands. My husband called to check in, and was told they were behind and still coming. Concerned for our dogs safety, we told the dispatch that he was outside and asked if the office would call the crew to warn them. The dispatch stated they couldnt promise anything, that they sometimes dont talk to the crew for hours at a time, and couldnt promise the crew had their phone with them.We would have perfectly understood if they had tried to be remotely friendly about this, but were a little taken aback at what came off as an uncaring/unhelpful attitude. Still, I dropped everything and rushed back to our home to put our pup away again. During that time the crew had come and mowed the front. A note was on the door (attached.) I was a dispatch myself for a vendor service like this, and was surprised at poor wording of the note. Mean dog as a general reason is likely to be inaccurate as clearly not all dogs are mean, it was passive aggressive in tone, and simply unprofessional. I could only imagine what my customers would say upon receiving something like this.As per the notes instructions, I called asking for a return to complete the backyard since I had gone out of my way to rush home and put away our dog. I was told by the dispatch (who pointedly did not give his name) that theyre in our neighborhood only on Wednesday or Fridays. It was very much implied that I shouldnt bother with it, or bother them. I was surprised by the annoyed tone, but asked him to please put us on the schedule anyway since they clearly offer the service to do so. I was upset at his irritated and uncaring manner, and tried to explain how that note made me feel as a customer. I made the suggestion, in the interest of better PR, that they change the mean dog to something along the safety of your pet. That was met with what felt like open contempt. My husband, frustrated that I was upset, called again to figure out why we were being treated so awfully, and was subsequently told WE were being cancelled for calling too many times about the dog.Judging by the owners response to one of the poor reviews below, Im willing to bet that dispatch was the owner himself. The attitude was identical. If he wishes to respond to this and complain that we talked down to him or were too annoying because we were simply trying to make sure possibly the goofiest golden ever was safe, then that should probably give you more than enough clue of the type of service they DONT offer.

I chose Meiers because of the quality, cost and responsiveness I had witnessed from other neighbors using them. They exceeded my expectations when I called them for help. Meiers walked me through all different kinds of lawn care options and helped me setup something within my budget. Once service started they were always on time and schedule and would give me courtesy calls before they came over for their monthly lawn treatment. I was recommend to them by my neighbor, and they have reasonable prices, with a variety of package options. I regret not going to the higher package with weed control, just by looking at my neighbors lawn who is also taken care of by Meiers. Still, the package I got was very good price and my lawn always looks great. Mace, the owner, is really great and understanding, and I have enjoyed each time I talk to him on the phone. I am very happy with the service I have received over the past 12 years (2006-2018). Meiers mows and fertilizes my yard. I have one of the best looking yards in the neighborhood. I am now adding bed weed control and shrub trimming service.The crews are always friendly. From time to time, I park in front of the rear gate. They are always understanding and friendly, when they ask me to move the truck. The crews do a thorough job of cleaning up after they mow. They never leave a mess of cut grass in the street like some other crews in the neighborhood.Update: I added the bed weed control and shrub trimming. I am very happy with both services. I am also very satisfied that despite all the rain recently they were able to stay very close to the regular schedule.

The communication from this company is poor at best. If they mow half of your yard they will still charge full price. They just blow everything into a corner of your yard leaving a huge mess. They do not care if you have a pool they will blow stuff right in the direction of it.If your thinking about using these folks save yourself the frustration and find someone professional.

I have been using Mace and his team Meier’s Landscape for the last 11 years.Historically, I always had weed issues and inconsistent lawn care but never with Meier’s.A few years ago, some other crew promised lower prices and better services, so I gave it a shot, I ended up having to terminate their services and go back to Meier’s before that summer ended. The Weeds were horrific because they did not use high quality pre treatment and constantly butchered my grass by scalping it every week in certain areas.Save your headache and use Meier’s! I have had one of the nicest lawns in the neighborhood and it was a lot less hassle than you could imagine.I would highly recommend Meier’s to anyone with a lawn!

Meiers Landscape Maintenance is an excellent company to work with.Ive lived in my current home in Lewisville for 21 years. I tried several Landscape Maintenance companies before I found Meiers. Ive been a customer with them for about 15 years now and have never had a problem with them. In addition to the lawn care, they have pruned shrubs and trees, and I also use their weed control and lawn feeding service. Several years ago during a bad storm my Bradford Pear tree in the back yard split and almost hit my house. I called Mace (Meier) and he had a crew at my house to cut the tree down for me within a day. The guys in the crew cut the wood to enable me to use it as firewood and stacked it for me. They chipped the parts not usable and cleaned up afterwards. If youre looking for a reliable lawncare company Meiers is the one to choose.

Not very friendly and the company is only 7.5 miles from where we are.... but they don’t service my area. Must have been the owner bc I can’t imagine an employee being that way.
