Really disappointed with them. My lawn does not look good, and I requested they send someone out to check it out. Instead they sent someone to fertilize who didnt seem to know what was wrong. I also called for a quote to aerate the lawn.I liked the price and asked them to do it. Once they were done, I realized they only did the front lawn! This makes zero sense so I called again and they basically told me, I have to pay double to get the rest done. Really? I dont have time for all of this.
The first year was 3 stars, second year 2 stars and finally this year ZERO STARS, they are very good to invoice but doing absolutely nothing, I mean the TrueGreen agent even left the truck just stopped in front of my driveway probably to activate the GPS and did nothing on my lawn. I already asked customer service to cancel my next planned services. Dont waste your money with this company they will invoice you for nothing, not honest people.
Terrible experience so far. True green said they serviced my lawn 3 times and never did. They also only do the front yard not the back. When they don’t do the back yard they don’t notify you. Thank goodness for cameras on my property. I caught them repeatedly. Also they claim to spray for mosquitoes and charged me but never sent me a bill until I get a bill from a debit collector. Cancelling my service Monday Monday morning. What a bunch of headaches!!
The technician who came to service my lawn was extremely rude and unprofessional. The technician who came first didnt do a good job on treating weeds and when I was explaining the same to technician who came next, he kept yelling at me Let me do my job...I know what to do...I can easily leave your house and go to other homes ..should I argue with you or continue my job. The technician was in such a state of rage that he did the treatment very hastily and left.Dont customers have the right to say previous weed treatment was bad? Never expected this from TrugeenI thought of recommending Trugreen to my friends in future if lawn comes to a good shape. However, with a such attitude they have towards their customer, Im not going to do that.Discontinued my service with them permanently.Cautioning other customers to hire a company who are professional with customers.
Have been using TruGreen for a few years, and my yard has never looked better. Weed free, thick and green. These guys are great.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Trugreen rep sold me a plan saying that they would send someone out to consult because I have brown spots appearing rapidly in my lawn, that they would assist to set up watering scheduled etc. Scheduled the meeting and stayed home all day. Got a text saying that they had completed services. Never saw anyone although they posted a stake in front yard. Been on the phone over 3 hours and been disconnected twice after holding 40 - 45 minutes. I am on a call now for which I held 15 minutes, then they returned my call, talked with rep who put me on hold and how holding 47 min. They have a robot chat that doesnt work unless you are scheduling a service and no place to communicate. I am generally a good consumer, but cant get anyone to address issue. There isnt anyplace to contact anyone or no answers. No accountability. Want to cancel future service now...Guess I will have to snail mail write to company and CMRRR.... REALLY!
They came by on May 4 for a routine treatment. I noticed 2 days later that my grass was turning yellow and starting to die. I called them on May 6 and they said they would send someone out to INSPECT the problem. On Saturday May 8, they sent someone out very early in the morning 7:14 but they didnt inspect what they had done, they retreated what they had just done on Tuesday. Now my lawn is in worse shape than ever. They apparently dont LISTEN to the problem. They just do whatever they feel like doing. They arent the ones to answer to my very picky HOA. I am. I will call them back first thing Monday morning and will only speak with a manager! I loved my lawn service when I originally hired Scotts to care for my lawn. Its been down hill since TruGreen took it over.
By far the worst customer service department in lawn care. If you call with billing questions you get to wait 2.5 hours online. They have the option to call you back, but they never do. You just get to call and wait again. You wanna sign up, they will quickly take your money, need to ask a question, good luck.Also they are rarely on time when performing their services. Find a small company you will be better off.
They say they treat for weeds but the whole year I had weeds popping up everywhere, not sure what other companies in the area provide lawn care but I would use them.

Terrible Service!! We paid for a years service and our yard looks horrible. They came to service the yard and the specialist used a hand spreader to apply what I assume was 3 lbs of product to ONLY our front yard (never entered the rear yard) yet our service summary showed he applied 47.6 lbs of fertilizer/pre emergent completely false as I have his entire visit on camera. There is no one local to talk with to fix this issue and it takes hrs to get ahold of someone with their national call center! Don’t waste your time with this company all they want is your money.
Honestly, I had not been real happy with the patches of weeds in my back yard and I had thought about other options. However, I have been very impressed by the detail to attention used by Austin F. It was very apparent to me that he cares about his work and he knows what he is doing, Austin, who works out of branch 5057, is a very good asset to your organization and with his mindset of taking care of his customers I would not be surprised if he moves up in your company.
My aeration was done today. Very pleased how quickly it was completed. Very friendly and informative employee.
I had Tru Green lawn service for two years at the beginning of my new house and yard. Initially, yard improved but with time, they did a very poor job of taking care of my yard. I had the manager come out more than once to determine the required corrections to remove weeds and get my yard looking great. His solution was to add more dry fertilizer that did little it nothing to improve my yard. My next door neighbor had a beautiful yard startling contrasted next to mine and all he did was add a cheap fertilizer to his yard. After pointing out the differences in other yard and giving Tru Green months to correct things in my yard to no avail, I disgustedly gave up. Hthey had no solution and only cared that I continue their service. Tru Green just cookie cutters every yard and has technicians that cannot analyze anything and determine the correct course of action. Also, in the two full years I had their service, I only saw the same technician twice. This indicated they have a very high turnover and poorly trained technicians.I will never consider them again
Shouldve looked at the reviews before i reached out to them. Saw a pop up on my browser when i was shopping for lawn service, it showed about 50% less than other services. so i filled out the form for a quote. i got a call the following day & the lady called to give a quote. Apparently the 50% was only for the first service! prices compared to else where was too high so i said its out of my budget. The representative had quite an attitude, she hung up before even I finished my call!!!! Not even a thank you from her. Glad i got to know the professional standards before getting into it. There is a tone of companies with similar services & excellent customer care as well as competitive pricing.

The products work. The technicians are very knowledgeable and follow safety protocols. They are a bit pricey to me, however I have used their service for over a year.

Service: aerationResults: one pass over a 4 ft area leaving at least 8-15 inches on either side with clearly no dirt plugs. This level of service after they came A WEEK LATE when I was supposedly going to have service 1-2 weeks prior plus a 48 hour notice, which I also did not receive.I will never use trugreen for any other product. I would have done better to rent the machine and done the work myself as a novice.

Second service in a row in which they were a no call/no show. Not only do they not call, they don’t let you know when they will be coming out. Last no call, they didn’t show for 10 days. This time I was told it would be 8 days.Completely unreliable and good luck talking to someone at the branch. You go to a call center on initial call and they say, “someone from the branch will call you.” You better take the call when they finally call back because the return number on the voicemail is for the call center. I finally had enough and cancelled my service today.I hope no one from the Lantana Neighborhood uses them. The low average star rating for this branch is legit.I recommend you do it yourself or find a local company that will actually show up and answer your call.

The details of the service are available online, including products applied, etc. If there are any issues, a return/repeat service is always available without problem My grass looks better after 2 years then it did during about 14 years with a competitor.
The customer service agent who called was was pressuring me to sign up and wasn’t listening to a word I say. She was more focused on getting a sale done when I said I am driving and get give you the answer now she rudely hang up. The reason we use home advisor or any other app is to compare prices you can’t rudely pressure me to sign up with your company.

If i could give a no star review I would. This has been the most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked with. Good luck getting a manager on the phone, or anyone to call you back because I tried two times today and never received a call back. They made me pre-pay for a service in advance, never called me back to schedule the appointment, then rescheduled the appointment without telling me, showed up, spent 10 minutes doing nothing to tell my tenant they have to reschedule because they don’t have time. They didn’t fix my sprinklers, they never called me, and when I called to complain (twice) they hung up on me the first time, and the second time they assured me a manager would call which never happened. My sprinklers are still broken, I still don’t have an appointment confirmed, and they still have my money they made me pay in advance. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS. You will regret it if you do!!!! Unfortunately for me they already got paid so there’s no incentive to get the job done.

Super disappointing to pay $70 a pop, everytime this company comes to our home, and yet we get no service for our money.On Saturday, they treated my neighbors lawn, by mistake, and not mine. When my husband called, we were told its human error. Ok. Sure. One off.Nope. Last treatment, they were scheduled after our gardener mowed. True Green changed their time, without our consent and came before. The whole treatment was erradicated.Total loss $140.00!I am amazed jow they stay in business.I want an apology and my $140.00 refunded.
In mid-August, TruGreen aerated my yard. in moving the machine to my back yard, the technician tore up an area that had ground cover cloth covered with gravel. The only number I could reach was the main call center. I had no results or communication until today, when the technician came to aerate my yard again. After I sent him away, I called what I thought was a local office, was transferred and hung up on. On the second call, I was transferred to the local managers number, and got the Leave a detailed message and we will get back to you within a day message. I called the main number again, and was told that someone would come to repair it, and I should hear from them in the next three days. The lawn service is decent, but the communication with customers is probably the worst on the plane.
The work is excellent and efficient. The technician does a thorough job. He is trustworthy.

I used Trugreen in 2018 and 2019. Paid in full both years at beginning of year. I switched providers in late 2019, and did not schedule or ask Trugreen to come in 2020. They came anyways, did one service, then sent me to collections for non-payment of invoice.
Nothing much to say. The tech that came out was great. Customer service is terrible from the start. They were more concerned with getting a sale than honoring what was originally said to be the deal. Went back and forth with customer service and the sales department for days. Finally just canceled the service due to nobody being on the same page

Technician did a wonderful job in spraying my entire lawn (front and back) with weed killer. He also explained to me what lawn maintenance program I signed up for and how it would benefit my lawn in the long-term. I would say it was a job well done!!!!!
Tru Green is worth the investment. A great yard is more than June, July, and August. Your yard needs a shot every month to stay healthy. If you have never used a lawn service before, you will see the difference quickly.
Theres a reason that residents of Flower Mound and Lewisville put No Soliciting signs on their doors. So obnoxious Trugreen representatives dont Pound on our doors during the middle of the day and try to sell us a service we do not want. Recognize the request and respect it TruGreen!

The treatments work as long as you follow their directions about mowing and watering, picking up leaves etc. People complain on here but refuse to mow properly and maintain their lawns. Great service, always recommend

Since contracting with True Green to provide their services my lawn has increased in thickness and in a rich green color. Most if not all weeds were eradicated after a treatment or two and Dallas (Nut) grass eliminated after just a few more. I would highly recommend their treatment services to anyone with a lawn!
Make sure you watch what service they mentioned on ticket on my first service TruGreen guy mentioned 2 applications but actually only one so double check what they promised and what they did .
My neighbor had the same results, they blamed me and my yard for his problems. We offered to let them treat us also but they said we were to far gone to help. We used another company and it looked pretty good after a couple of weeks.
I have used TruGreen for more than 10 years in my previous house and absolutely loved them. When we moved, I gladly signed up with them again.However, things didnt go smoothly this time. It took a while to set up my account because its new construction and their Google Map didnt recognize it. I had to call twice. Then, a rep called me and everything was set. Or so I thought.I had my first treatment on 9/18. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from Trudy announcing my service would come the following day. Huh?I called and the rep said she was sorry and cancelled the service. But lo and behold, the next 4 days, Trudy called me every day to announce my service. All CSRs who said they had fixed the problem, hadnt. I had it. What was going on?The last CSR I spoke to had an attitude like you wouldnt believe. I told her there is a problem and Id like to speak with a Supervisor and she refused. I got angry and she finally relented and said someone would call me back.In the meantime, I looked at my service ticket from 9/18 and noted a Supervisors name. I emailed him what was happening and within minutes, he had solved the problem.I had been set up with two accounts based upon the problem of not finding our address. The first service I had was logged under that address but the other address and nothing logged which is why Trudy kept calling. The Supervisor deleted the blank account and now all is good. I really appreciate what he did.I do think the CSRs need to be further trained on situations like this and that last one needs to lose her sass.Its only been since 9/18, but the lawn is looking good!When

I wish they sent someone out who would have talked to me about what my grass was doing I stead of me having to ask probing questions to get what little info I got about my grass and I wish the guy who came out knew more about sod and what I needed on my grass to make it look healthy. Maybe I didnt get a good understanding of what the company does when I set up the initial appointment because I thought they did a little more than just kill weeds. For me it wasnt worth it only because I didnt know what to expect.
I had a problem with the sprinkler system and called Trugreen. Robert, the technician explained the problem and had it resolved in a short time frame. Trugreen techs are highly trained and I would be the first to recommend them to everyone!
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Never in my life have I seen such a blatant disregard for customers and employees. Trugreen strictly cares about money and nothing else! And they will harass customers to buy from them repeatedly. Dont EVER work for this company as they have zero ethics and will try to force you to make sales to customers who have told them multiple times that they are not interested in being unsold. Trugreen also steals commissions and forces its sales people to work every single Saturday and there is zero work / life balance at ty his place. They have no value on family life . They will force you to work out in extreme heat even with active heat advisories in place. And they constantly lie to the employees about being able to take Saturdays off if you meet your sales goal and its total be because this company insatiable appetite for money at the expense of its employees health and safety . This has got to be the crappiest lawn care company on the the planet ! Dont spend your money with Trugreen is the moral of this review they will shortcut you on service as their lawn techs are severely overwhelmed with long, arduous routes and little reward. Plus what Trugreen fails to tell its customers is that they auto renew your services yearly without confirming it or disclosing it to the customer upfront....I hope this place goes out of business one day and people wake up and spend their hard earned money with a company that actually gives a d**n. And that my friends is the real deal in regards to Trugreen....no holds barred
Happy enough with their Technicians and with the improvement to my Yards. However, I have a Pool, and I lock the Yard Gate to try to prevent any one coming to harm in the Pool when we are not home. I have the Truegreen App on my phone, but only ever get a One Day Before update that Technicians are paying a visit the very next day. If we are away from home we are unable to unlock the Gate. Secondly, We were getting the last visit of the day by the Technicians which was between 5pm & 6pm, which is the exact time my wife likes her privacy in the Pool. Simple fix to these issues youd think. I called Truegreen asking for at least 2 weeks advance notice of their next visit, and for them to give us am visits, not pm visits. Lady on the phone says she cant do that. Manager will call me in 3 days. I cancelled the Contract, its not that difficult to confirm scheduled appointments, or to give am/pm choices.
This company is very greedy. They repeatedly take advantage of my older neighbor. Her yard is awful but they keep stopping by to take her money. She has a yard full of Dallisgrass, or something similar, that they won’t get rid of. She has used them for at least two years, though she said she hired professionals every year to treat her lawn. I asked them last May to treat her dallisgrass specifically, but it’s still there covering her once beautiful yard. If you can’t trust a professional lawn company to make your yard look nice, who can you trust?! I hired them last spring just to aerate my lawn. One time. I got a scheduling notice this year for them to come back on a Wednesday. I never agreed to annual service. Very dishonest and greedy.
They were schedule to come last week but didnt show up. I have to call to schedule again but didnt show up again. They didt bother to call to let me know that they cant make it. Just no shows twice!!My lawn is getting out of control while waiting for them to treatments on weeds. When I called multiple times to the general number and the receptionist kept saying service specialist will be at my house. They said they will be at our home any time between 9 to 12 pm. I waited and they didnt show up. When I called again, they are saying they are little behind but they will be there for sure anytime before 7PM. I waited ahain since they could not come last time because it was gated community.Receptionist very rude and this is not reliable company at all. I do not understand who are theses people giving five stars to this lousy company..
Would prefer verbal, touch base, check up communication with my technician every month or so to discuss our wants, needs and expectations.

The only thing good about this company is their Customer Service Department, the technicians are the worst of the worst. We caught them on camera pulling up, sticking an advertisement in the yard (front and backyard), then leaving without treating the lawn. Additionally my neighbors saw this, and on another occasion when I was home I witnessed it myself. My grass is partially yellow like hay, and they were coming out from March till July when I cancelled service. The technicians have absolutely NO ETHICS!!! My grass is watered twice weekly and all they kept telling me is it takes a whole season to see results. EXCUSE ME?? Umm, no, not true. I will never use True Green again! NOT AN ETHICAL COMPANY!!
We hired truGreen to take care of our yard 14 months ago. It started out fine for the first couple months but went downhill quickly. First of all, my yard has never looked as bad as it looks right now. Not only did they kill the weeds but they also killed the majority of my grass. On top of that, I would get random calls where sales people would try to upsell me more product like treatment for my shrubs and things like that. So when I canceled they continued to come for one more treatment and billed me for it. I paid it and moved on but I can promise you they have lost my business forever. By the way, there are three other neighbors on my street that the exact same thing has happened to. As a matter of fact, if you drive down the street you can tell which yards are treated by trugreen by the dead looking front lawn.
Bought one of there higher end services to control my crab grass and weeds. Like the other reviews said started out pretty good then went downhill very quickly. Had the service done for approximately half a year and did not see any improvements. Always kept an eye out on the application persona nd always did shotty work, i.e. missing spots and being lazy. Always called to have it re addressed and they said they will send someone outta fix since they offer a satisfaction promise, but still sends out some lazy half worked guy to do same shotty work. Lawn looms incredibly worse than pre treatment, regardless of multiple notifications. I would hire someone else even though these people are the proud sponsors of the PGA tour. Turns out you arent a multi-million dollar account so they wont make your lawn like the greens on their gold courses.

The tree and shrub treatment is expensive compared to the results we expected and we already told we wanted to discontinue that service but not our lawn treatment which we have had for years. Online is impossible to reach Lewisville Denton folks and hard to leave a message. Cancel the appt. I did not schedule you called for Monday. I tried to call but not even an answering service when you are closed? Poor business. Workers did ok the issue I have was price 180$ for 500 sq feet treatment and tilling ground. So I canceled after payment. Too expensive
