Great facility with even better people! It didn’t take long for the staff to know who I was, which was so refreshing. The equipment is pretty new and up-to-date and they have such a large variety of tools for any workout I’d want to do. I recommend the CCBA to anyone and everyone I know!

I have been so impressed w/how CCBA has handled the pandemic.I always felt safe after i returned in Aug 2020. .They clean constantly, enforce mask wearing, temperature taking at first and social distancing.I work out on cardio equipment in a room the size of half a gym and i am usually only one of 3 or 4 peopling there so we are easily 10 feet apart always. Kind, attentive staff, online classes available too.

CCBA used the time of being shut down to their advantage! They rearranged so everyone could feel safe coming back, wonderful new equipment in the workout rooms on the second level...and we absolutely LOVE the new treadmills upstairs!! It has been great to come back to CCBA. Everyone is following protocol and very supportive.

Very close to home. Everything needed to exercise. There are weights, swimming pool, and cardio available.Only one room with privacy shower, and its a handicapped accessibility. Im sure using it is not a problem, but, I do wish there are privacy shower in the locker room. However, I am still giving it a 5 star because I never had any problems.

I am very happy with my membership at the CCBA. I especially love the group fitness class offerings. The facility is clean and spacious. The friendly staff has gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe and socially distanced in COVID times. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a member of CCBA for close to 40 years and I’ve never been more impressed with the staff and the facility. After reopening from COVID closure the staff has worked really hard to keep the building and especially the equipment in top shape and very clean. They’ve asked members to help clean the equipment after each use and members have responded to make sure the equipment is ready for the next person. They have made sure all the facilities are in top shape putting new grout on the entire pool when they needed to fix a leak in one area. The entire staff is very knowledgeable about the skills needed to make the classes run smoothly and safely.The entire building and facilities are in like-new condition even though over forty years old. I can confidently recommend membership to anyone interested in a safe and well-run health facility.

The staff at CCBA have been so friendly and helpful AND ENCOURAGING! I have tried several classes including aquatic programs and now attend 4 classes most weeks. I am more active now (in my 70s) than I have ever been, thanks to the CCBA facility and staff. A quality place and experience to be sure!

The CCBA has done an excellent done an excellent job during the pandemic: temperature/safety checks before entering, gym is well spaced out to avoid contact, new equipment, and the classes have been excellent. The instructors have been fantastic!The staff is 100%committed to members experience. They are awesome.I also can’t say enough good things about the personal training.

Thank you for being one of the anchors in the community. I dont know of any better staff or organization who has helped folks stay physically and mentally well. CCBA has stayed open as much as possible through these usual times, and for that, it has kept me connected, active and sane!

Truly a community-oriented organization, with excellent, longstanding staff and great facilities.

Supposed to be a place for the community to help them get better but, now it’s more of a business with short term goals. You will find all racists at this facility. They take advantage of the fact that their is no other facility where people can go and workout. Cheap standard and Cheap people. Would recommend not going there.

Im adding this review for folks who maybe interested in the area for access to the Northern Rail trail. You can park around the facility for access to the trail. It is especially good to enter from here because its safe and convenient with stores nearby to pickup supplies. Note that from this point out there is mild/easy climb, which is nice so one can be cycling a bit downhill on the way.

Thank you all very much for letting me come swim in my mermaid tail! I came in Saturday afternoon before Easter, and the pool was fairly quiet. Lovely facility, very bright and clean, and I loved having a 12 deep end to play in! I will definitely be back to swim again whenever I am in the area!-Echinacea Goldfish

I love love love this place! Such a great place to work-out and to top it off they have a huge pool and relaxing sauna. My favorite part of my work day is running away during lunch to come exercise here. 💕

Good facility for this small town. Great events for kids and the public throughout the year. Staff could be friendlier, but we ARE in New England ;)

Good place to go with kids or by yourself! Many programs and features, including pool and indoor/outdoor courts. The only downside is that prices are high if youre not buying a long-term membership.

CCBA is an excellent family recreation center. The staff is friendly, the exercise equipment well-maintained and ample, and the classes and programs available are top notch. I can recommend the CCBA without reservation.

My family had a less than happy experience here and I would not recommend. We took our 11 year old son here for two weeks of summer camp and he had a terrible time, the people they have running the program are miserable and it gets passed down to the kids. The first day he had camp he was bit and hit with sticks by another child, which I got an explanation about only at pick up. They also were complaining about other kids and parents during drop off and even talking about medications the kids are on. Being in healthcare that is a huge violation of privacy. I have since this experience given them the chance to fix this which they have never once reached out to me. I cancelled my family membership and do not recommend. The one thing I will say is that I think this is a management issue because a lot of the front desk and other staff I felt with was very helpful. Very disappointed in this gym.

This gym is mediocre. It has what you need. The pool is nice. Unfortunately, the AC has not worked since I started my membership, which was over a month ago now. It is the middle of the summer, but its quite ridiculous that a new AC unit could not be installed in less than a month at such a big facility. As a result, people have been sweating profusely and I got a fungal infection on my neck and upper back from the pad thats used on the squat bars in the weight room. With the AC being out of service for so long, youd think the staff would be paying more attention to cleanliness than usual. Its a decent facility but it is definitely lacking in some areas.

I really like this place. Its family and neighborhood folk. Nice facilities, clean, well maintained.

There was one staff member that was really rude. He didnt know where my kid was when I asked him. I thought this was a supervised building. This employee was so rude when I asked him where my child was. Instead of politely saying he didnt know he snapped at me. He needs to work on his attitude.

Thy do offer a good amount of activities but the prices for memberships are high. Also the Weight room can become crowded very quickly.

I come to the CCBA to take the group classes which I love, I bring a young friend here to swim, and I use the equipment in the weight room and the cardio room. The staff is so helpful, and the instructors really know what theyre doing. I love this place.

I have to say the ccba is a very nice facility, but unfortunately when you had made a reservation a month in advance and you get there about half an hour prior to your reservation time you find out that there is no place for you to set up, you get a run around that takes you from the New building to the old building, get yelled at by a tenant then get told you have space at the New building because the old building is locked up. By this time its taken a half an hour to get things all settled and guests are starting to arrive with gifts but nothing has been done because you had been dealing with a run around from the facility. you now have all the guest helping set up, very discouraging the good thing was the person that the party was for had not arrived yet, we were able to get everything together and set up a few minutes before she arrived. thank the Lord that not all of our guests came because they ended up putting us in this tiny little room for a party of 10, which 30 were invited. in the future I would hope the facility would have a better handle on things like this. Im assuming we are not the first party that they have ever had there, none of this should have happened, the organizers which Im one of them was not very pleased I would not recommend this place for a party in the future. very discouraged and displeased.

I have only used the facilities to the extent of participating in occasional drop-in futsal on one of the basketball courts. I have however toured all the included facilities and it seems to be a well appointed gym with lap pool, whirlpool, machines, weights, basketball/multi use courts, etc. It also seems to boast a good variety of other amenities such as showers, locker rooms, fitness classes, daycare and more.

Like the place and all the activities but they dont even offer wifi for there price

This place is stale. The equipment is basic, old and worn-out. The only thing that seems to animate the aloof staff is the opportunity to charge you another $600 for next year. Kids memberships are next to nothing, so its a great place for parents to dump off their kids where they can annoy everyone.
