Lived at Oakwood Terrace for 2 years. John, the onsite property manager, is a great guy and we really liked having him as our PM. He was always understanding and willing to work with us on stuff. Hes an incredibly hard worker and was always very nice to our two dogs. The unit itself had been redone when we moved in. My understanding is that the corporate owners had John redo each unit on his own with very little assistance from contractors. Poor guy was ALWAYS busy and stressed out because of that.Compared to other rentals weve had - in states across the country - Id say they were decent enough. However, I felt that the rent was a little high for a semi-rural area...and it was one of the more affordable rentals we found at the time we were moving.
When I called lady was rude all she said HELLO when I asked her to email me more info she said. Well what other information you need. You really rude.
My boyfriend and I were wanting to look at the townhouses they had for rent, before we put in an application. I called and the woman that answered told me that she takes calls for the manager. I told her that were wanting to schedule a walk through, she advised that the hours were Monday to Friday 9-5. She told me that I can go between these times and there would be someone to show me a unit. This conflicted with my work schedule a bit, so made arrangements to leave an hour and a half early. When we went I looked up Oakwood Terrace Appartments in Google Maps and it took me to 2634 S. Seventh St. (on the Craigslist it had the address as 900 S. Oak St.) When we called at 4:30 she gave us the address on 10th street. When we pulled in we walked up to the management office and there was a closed sign. I called her back at 4:40 and told her that no one was there. She told me that he might have ran to the store, or in town. She said that we can check a unit that he may be working on, so we checked and again no one was there. She told me that after 5 the phone number would go directly to him. So the option we had was to wait 20 minutes to be able to reach the manager directly? There apparently was no way she could have called him? Or let him know we were on our way when we called about 10 minutes from being there? I find this very unprofessional.
