I needed a car rental without a credit card. Discount car rental was there. deposit was cheap for instate and i received it back when I returned the car. cars were newer models and drove smoothly. no issues as i enjoyed my smooth transaction through Shannon

This place was Horrible! The staff is very rude, especially the mechanic Dave. The car they gave me was rigged. The bumper was put on the car with Glue and they charged me saying that I damaged the car when I didn’t. A glued bumper can not withstand high winds on the highway. The arm rest was also loose. So loose that my husband pulled it down and it fell off. They put their cars together poorly as a way to scam you out of your deposit. The employee put the car in my husbands name by accident and we were charged for that as well. There are good reviews because they offer 5% off if you leave a kind review. Stay far away from this place. It’s called discount car rentals for a reason.

The desk clerk was extremely helpful and nice. Easy check out and made my visit very comfortable for my needs. .....But on the return check in the female desk clerk was still very nice....but the owner is a crook after the initial rental and paying for extra mileage I extended my rental two day in a row which should have added extra mileage supposedly 100 miles a day ...he proceeded in telling me those miles couldnt be combined with the miles already purchased charged me for extra mileage and kept my deposit I will be reporting him to the better business bureau..and I hope that his business partner cynthia has a more practical business method and mind....he doesnt need to work with customers..and your losing business because people do not want to do return business with your company. Borrow better business etiquette and I certainly will tell everyone not to use you thank you for the trip.....

Im very busy and lets just say i hardly ever take the time to write a bad review unless the service is truly awful. so here goes..... i called and reserved the car 2 days prior to my pick up. Upon arriving for pick up, i find out they had rented my car to someone else (I arrived early for the pick up). so i had to rent a larger and more expensive car that I didnt need. the car wasnt up to par. it was scratched and dinged up. there were no floor mats. the windshield wipers were faulty (which I found out later when it started to rain). The car drove ok but my big issue is with the return. They tried to charge me an extra $50 for being late on my return. I wasnt even late. When I was originally given the keys to the vehicle, we sat in the office and filled out more paperwork for another 30 min. Well apparently they started my rental time from when i was given the keys although the vehicle still needed to be inspected. My rental time should start after all paperwork and inspections are done. The lady acted as if i was lying to her and tried her best to charge me an extra $50 although i had already paid close to $400 for a compact car for a 2 day rental. Not worth the hassle. there was no reasoning with her. she didnt listen to anything i was saying and despite how awful the car/service was, they still tried to charge me extra. I will never be doing business here again.

Very friendly and helpful .. however after spending a half hour on phone and an hour in the store, jus as we were getting ready to pick up keys and go they mentioned that we couldnt have anymore than 750 miles for the 10 day rental, which I objected too, which we were sure where we were going yet and on line it clearly states unlimited miles.. after speaking to them further, their cars can only go to Nevada, Cali, Ariz, and Utah ... SO AFTER ALL THAT, WE WERENT ABLE TO RENT THE CAR SINCE WE WERE GOING FARTHER THAN THOSE 4 STATES . GIRLS IN OFFICE WERE NICE AND FRIENDLY BUT THAT INFO . NEEDS TO BE MADE CLEAR BEFORE WAISTING THE CUST. TIME AND THEIR OWN !

I dont usually write reviews but thought I would to help out this company. I never heard of them someone referred me to them cause they take cash. I was nervous but it actually was a great experience. I got a really nice Jetta and rate was good and customer service was great. It was easy and I got my deposit right back when i returned the vehicle. I def recommend this company to anyone tired of the stress of renting a vehicle they will take care of u!

They have all different type of cars for difference price range and they are willing to work with you and they also sale vehicles. The agent was friendly and got me in and out in no time!

The rental car had Low tire pressure. I was advised to take it to a tire shop and get it fixed and then give them a receipt to get my money back... Ummm no I wasnt about to do that... I have rented from a lot of different companies and this was a first time being treated like that.I dont think I will go back

Place was an absolute joke rented a car I wouldnt have paid $500 for, had it for 2 hours and it got repossessed bc they wasnt making the payments. Place only had 3 cars and they all looked as if they were in a demo derby.

Let me start by saying that I have never written a bad review in my life. That being said, I have never been so blatantly ripped off by anyone in my life either. Heres what happened. I was in Las Vegas for a work meeting and I took a couple of extra days to go camping at Valley of fire State Park with my dog. While planning the trip, I called several rental car places in the area. All of them gave me higher prices than discount rental car. They quoted me $30 a day but when I arrive at 4:30 PM on Saturday, the manager at the desk, Lana Smith, charged me $124.73 for two days. I asked her why the price had doubled, and she told me taxes and fees. I said that that was ridiculous and went outside to find another rental car place. Unfortunately everyone was closing before I could arrive. I went back in and unhappily paid the doubled price. We did a quick walk around the car before signing the contract. I will admit, I did not pay attention. I have rented cars on many many occasions and have never been ripped off like this, so Ive gotten in the habit of just sign in without looking. I brought the car back on time in the evening. The next day I received a phone call saying that the car had been badly damaged and I was being charged on my credit card for The damage. They also said I had gone over the mileage limit and I was being charged for that too. No mileage limit was ever mentioned to me during the transaction. I had gone back-and-forth on the phone with the manager trying to convince her that I had not damaged the car. She sent me some pictures of dints on a fender and then a damaged sideview mirror on the other side of the car. I was with the car the entire time I had it. After many phone calls and much thought, I have to assume that I am just being ripped off. I should have known better, as there were red flags everywhere. The place was an absolute dump and was hardly recognizable as a business. In the end I was cheated out of more than $500 and had to cancel my credit card. Dont make the same mistake I did.

Owner Andre is racist and unprofessional..After spending $600 on a rental he refused my rental because my black husband was sitting in the car waiting for me to come out in the air he then refused to rent to me again because he was only sitting in the car and said he was calling the police on us to leave is property.We didnt do anything wrong.I asked to speak with him he slammed the door in my face and proceeded to laugh..Dont rent here. Then he placed me on the do not rent list because I wouldnt leave until I was able to speak with him so he can explain the situation properly..Clear case of being sterotyped but the receptionist who I rented with first was extremely nice and didnt say anything about my husband being with me...It was all good when i spent my first $360 plus my $300 deposit..Everyone isnt capable of being managers or owners if they lack people skills
