Wife and I missed our flight home from Las Vegas to Orange County at about 10pm and opted to get a last minute rental car to drive home. We went over to the rental car lobby of Las Vegas Airport and checked with 5 other rental companies for available cars however only Avis had cars available to suit our needs. The concierge was kind and understanding to our difficult situation and offered an available car at a fair rate. Transfer of car was quick and easy, as was the return the following day. Receipt came in to my email shortly after returning the car in Orange County and there were no surprise fees. Would highly recommend Avis.

The worst customer service imaginable not only do They ignore you there. They also try to intimidate African Americans with Very very expensive prices. the associates jerod and akita..are very uncomfortable... The Establishment is very uncomfortable... Therefore The whole Avis experience is also very uncomfortable!!!!

MY HUSBAND TALKED TO THE MANAGER (WHO BY THE WAY WAS ABSOLUTELY NO HELP AND I AM SHOCKED AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SHE PROVIDED) THEY CHARGED US AN EXTRA DAY CLAIMING WE WERE 4 HRS LATE.... MY HUSBAND WAS LATE BY MINUTES.... THEY STATED THEY STARTED THE TIME OF WHEN WE MADE THE RESERVATION.. WE DIDNT GET OUR CAR UNTIL 1PM... NOT 10. I HAVE VIDEO PROOF. MY HUSBAND THEN FILLED THE VEHICLE UP TO A FULL TANK... THEY THEN CHARGED US AGAIN FOR THE GAS. CLAIMING WE HAD A 16GALLON TANK, AND WE ONLY FILLED UP TO 15GALLONS.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? AGAIN, WE HAVE PROOF. WE WILL BE DISPUTING THIS AND TALKING TO ATTORNEYS. NOT BECAUSE OF JUST THE FACT THEY CHARGED US EXTRA... BUT TO BLANTLEY LIE TO US AND STEAL OUR MONEY. They will not process my automatic payments for Uber rental even when I have hundreds of dollars extra. In the last 3 weeks Ive had over $600 in my account at all times and they keep making me come in to manually swipe my card for $275. I have switched banks, I have sent emails, I have called and they are no help. To top it off I came in to make my payments manually and their computers were down so now Im being sent texts saying Im at risk for being Repod. They are inconveniencing me every step of the way.

It was the most eloquent service provided, from collecting the car and until return. The car was as clean as it can be and it felt premium. The individuals who helped with instructions at the west sahara branch were very polite and open to questions and patient to explain. The return was at the Airport and it was smooth. The first car we received at the Las Vegas location was filthy. The second car they gave us was even more dirty. The last car they gave us was dirty but we ended up cleaning it ourselves. I have never had a worse experience with a rental car company in my life. With COVID you would think Avis would take extra precautions to ensure their cars are actually clean but it is definitely not the case. Before we got in the car we walked down the road and bought cleaning supplies because of how gross the car was. I would suggest never renting a car from this Avis unless you want to spend your own time and money cleaning your car before you ever step foot inside it, a job that if Avis was a reputable company would do themselves!

The vehicle that was given to me had so much damage it was crazy I would of thought the vehicle would be at someone repair shop the way it looked. Secondly the vehicle oil light stayed on the ENTIRE time and when I called the local office it was closed. I wish I could have given 5 stars.

Stuck at las vegas airport, rental pickup was at6pm and its 7:10 pm now and said it will be another hour or two wait as they do not have any cars. overbooking is a very bad practice and have no plans to use avis again n the future .they told me i can always come back in 24 hours if i dont want to wait.....Status Update:Just received a collection notice that I owe 954.13 for damages to car rental when I returned in same condition. There was damage that I pointed out before taking possession of the rental car and the Avis employee just nodded and said thats already been taken care of and of no concern. So if that is the damages theyre trying to collect, thats my fault for trusting their integrity. Ill chalk this up to my own $1000.00 mistake for going with Avis and not ensuring all damages are properly documented before pickup.

Careful when renting here. Rob always seems nice but the girl he has working in the front is a nightmare!! Was supposed to go in for a simple extension and some how renting a compact car for 2 weeks and 4 days is $783 plus the $260 last week. I was charged $108 and a second transaction for $675. Its a camry, not an escalade. When going in to ask and see what she did wrong she said she didnt know why she charged me or for what reason but that Id have to call corporate then she placed me on a do not rent list cuz her charging me wasnt worth her risking her job. Noone asked you to risk anything, I questioned u sliding my card and charging me twice.

I would give more stars if I could! We were helped by the agency owner Rob, who was extremely helpful with exchanging our car because the battery had died, low oil pressure, and had a huge gouge on one of the tires. He was very understanding and did not hesitate to exchange our vehicle quickly. We had to backtrack more than a 100 miles to get the vehicle exchanged so we were extremely exhausted and frustrated with Aviss service at that point, but his upbeat attitude and willingness to help however he could really made a difference! Thank you so much again and helping us with a vehicle that got us home safely!

My rental experience was great! I did have an issue when speaking with the agents handling customer care, I had to call several times (got hung up on on of those times) All I wanted to do was extend my contract,🤷🏾‍♀️. The actual location I rented from was awesome!

Rob and the team at the West Sahara location have become our go-to rental partner in Las Vegas. I travel between LA and Las Vegas every month and pretty much keep a car rented from this location all the time. As a returning customer, Rob knows me, knows what I want and need and always goes above and beyond to make doing business quick, easy and enjoyable.

Rental wasn’t clean the seats had stains outside windows were dirty as hell picking up the car was easy breezy customer service at location in Las Vegas on Sahara and Decatur was horrible as hell when I called some ghetto chick answered wasn’t paying attention to my question what so ever then hung up on me the reps look like knocks (crackheads ) just the location it self was horrible lady that checked me in was super nice though knew what she was doing

Ive been renting automobiles from Rob for close to ten years, and have never had a complaint. I figured that its way past time to acknowledge the service. Rob is always considerate, and hes very knowledgeable about his business. Professional and friendly. He does tend to go out of his way to be sure that a rental experience is a good one. The crew is helpful and friendly. Every car that Ive rented here has been spotless. Always on time. Not a bad selection of automobiles as well. This has been, and will be, my go to place when I need a vehicle.

I decided to rent my car from this location because of the outstandingreviews I read on Robert. When I went into the location to pick up thecar, Robert was professional, friendly and efficient. We were on ourway in just a few minutes. About an hour into our journey, we noticedthat the car we rented had a very strong “air freshener” odor that wasmaking us uncomfortable.I called Robert and mentioned this and he asked that we return the carand he would have another car for us. We got back to Robert whoswitched cars for us and provided an upgrade at no additional cost.Returning the car was equally efficient and we were in and out of thelocation in under five minutes.Highly recommended !

I would highly recommend renting from the Avis on W Sahara. My husband and I recently came for vacation in Vegas and rented a car for a couple of days for some out of town sight seeing. This was one of the few rental locations that did not have terrible reviews and it did not disappoint. Check it was quick and easy and they did not even try to up sell us on the vehicle or insurance like so many rental places try to do. The drop off also was seamless and took about a minute.Where the service really went above and beyond was that about 5 days after we dropped off our car we realized that our camera was missing and the last place we had it was in the car. I thought it was gone for good but I thought I would call Avis on the off chance that it showed up. Sure enough they had it. Where it gets complicated is that we were already back home in Canada and therefore would have to get it shipped. Rob from Avis was kind enough to go on his personal time to UPS to get it shipped home to us. He even had to make 2 trips UPS as shipping it back to us was more complicated than expected. This is above and beyond what I would expect from any car rental company. It was so greatly appreciated as we had a lot of valuable pictures on that camera of our kids that we did not want to lose. Thanks again Rob!! We will rent from you again.

I was a bit skeptical about this place because getting nothing but 5 star reviews is really challenging, but Im glad we decided to rent through this location. The owner was very friendly and gave us a great deal that was even better than what a Costco discount could have given us. He has a lot of interesting stories about his travels. He can suggest places to visit whenever your feet takes you. We were billed exactly what was quoted. No hidden fees. I highly recommend this location.

Flew into Vegas, was cheaper to uber to this location and rent from here instead of the airport. The Avis employee at the desk was extremely helpful, he gave us a free upgrade plus an additional driver added to the rental for free. Overall great experience.

There was a younger blonde at the front counter. I had to wait a bit for my husband and she was very impersonal and rude. Only was nice to white males that she felt had a good status. She wore flip flops and on the phone handling personal calls, very unprofessional. Also when we came to drop the vehicle back off we had to wait 45min because no one was at the location at 1pm on a Monday. It was ridiculous.

The car was immaculate, the agent was courteous and friendly. The 7 day rental was a day late, no problems from Avis. This was certainly an amazing rental experience considering I usually I rent from H. From now on Avis will be my Rental company of choice. I did not expect Avis to beat out all the other major rental companies on price. I had called every major company and everyone gave me unbelievable rates. I have AAA and AARP. No one had gave me good rates. Avis to the rescue...their rates were almost 25% less than the cheapest price quoted. This was a spur of the moment reservation. Fastest and smoothest rental car experience ever! Called the location and spoke to Rob and verified they had a vehicle that would work for me. When I went in he had me in and out within 5 minutes at a great price. The car was very clean and full of fuel. I had the car for 3 days and when I returned it the process again took less than 5 minutes.

I had to get a car around mid night. Most of the other rental agencies were closed at the Rent-A-Car center close to the Mccarran airport in Las Vegas. There was a line for AVIS but the people before me were disappointed because they didnt get the car they have researved.For me, I got the last car that was available. I had no option. Car was extremely dirty. About three days prior to return, I sent it through an automatic car washing center and cleaned it. Upon return, the agent showed me a little bend inside on the rear door. There were NO other damages or scratches. But when I got the pictures today, it shows a lot of scratch marks. They have INTENTIONALLY created those so that AVIS can get insurance money.I do not recommend AVIS, despite it is little cheaper. Most other car centers wash the cars before renting again, but not AVIS. If you add all the insurance and other bills they ask customers to buy on the day you are going to get the vehicle, you will note it is not cheap. At least, do not get a car rented from AVIS if it is not clean. It is AVISs responsibility to clean it before they rent it again.

The woman who helped me did not know how to bill through my extended warranty, I was over charged at the beginning and at the end I was charged another $300 on my card because she never properly inputted my insurance information. On west Sahara in Las Vegas. Young women very unprofessional, had very short shorts on,and did not know how to bill insurance causing me to be negative in my account.

I Rented from Avis in the Past I never had an issue with Avis until I rented from the location 4760 W. Sahara Avis Rent A Car A Representative Named Rob gives misleading information about making A New Contract For the Car. You are suppose to Sign A New Contract. Rob says everythings fine just have the Funds on your Card. No You do have to Sign A New Contract. It is Important that you keep any New Contract Documents for Future Reference reguarding Final Balance owed to Avis Rent A Car. Avis is A Great Company,but Do Not Go To Avis on W. Sahara and Decatur Blvd.

Everything seemed fine in the beginning, until we turned the car back in. I have been waiting on a refund for three weeks now. I have never had this kind of trouble when I rent from the airport. I have been given the run away regarding processing my refund. Ive talked an employee told to call back for the owner then talked to the owner waited a week for a refund talked to an employee waited another week for a refund and still nothing. I always rent from Avis and its never been like this before. Consider renting from another location.
