The car we rented was dirty outside and inside, including used tissues, when we first got it. We informed the front desk agents that it looked like the car hadn’t been cleaned, and they just said sorry we will talk with our cleaning crew that they need to be more thorough in the future. Kind of a bummer starting off our honeymoon in a dirty car

While not in the main car rental building in Las Vegas, it is literally across the street. Osy other off site car rentals are a few miles away.The customer service at this facility was outstanding! Cara and Ryan went above and beyond to accommodate my needs even when unexpected circumstances presented at the end of our trip. They made a bad situation go smooth. It was nice to see Michelle at the rental counter again. Rented a car 2 years ago and was happy to see a familiar face. Glad I went early to pick up my car, knowing it’s the start of a weekend (plus it being Super Bowl Sunday and they’re sold out of cars-luckily I made advanced reservations)...she is very well organized since I saw she already had the keys and contracts all set up in her drawer! The person helping me was great and the whole process was easy and great. The only problem was the $48 “rate charge” whatever the hell that is, that got added to my bill after I dropped off the car. I dropped off the car within my 3rd day of rental so there should not have been ANY extra charge. I found that the price of this rental was WAY higher than what I signed up for especially after the bogus charge after my rental. For this reason, instead of 5 stars, they get 3 stars.
The people at the desk and the pick up booth were fantastic. This is entirely the fault of the management of the company. We waited over an hour and a half to get our car. I had reserved a car months ago for this trip and expected one to be there. We were not the only people in this situation with Advantage. Some had been waiting almost 3 hours. Poor management and scheduling. I won’t be using Advantage again. When my husband asked to speak to a manager when he called the company, he was told he could only talk to the people at the desk.
They try to sell their own insurance but it was not a hard sell. After the sales person finalized the transaction the car delivery went smooth. The car could have been clearer less no water spots on the windows.
Ive rented twice from Advantage Rent A Car this year and Ive always receive outstanding service from Michelle. She suggested places we (my boyfriend and I) could go, explained the rental agreement thoroughly and if we had questions she patiently explained the procedure. Terrible all the way around. We rented on two separate occasions for the same trip. The first occasion our car was not there over three hours after we put the time in we needed it. It was not full of gas either. The second occasion the entire car was sideswiped and we asked for a different car and they gave one to us that was completely filthy. Spills all over and just disgusting. That one was also not full of fuel. They put it right back in the line after we brought it back without even cleaning it. This place may be cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. Stay away.

The facility was out of cars and we had, at minimum, an hour wait, more likely an hour and a half, for others to return a car. I had reserved a compact car but was told that they didn’t know if a compact would be returned and might cause a longer wait. Since I was on a tight schedule I was advised to upgrade to a larger car, at my expense or cancel and go to another dealer. Not a good way to do business.

A great rental agency..... economical, well thought out...we would use them again. The cars are a little older, but nicer cars to start with. They gave me a diesel Passat, all day driving cost us 27$ in fuel!
Everything was great except when I got back home and saw a charge of $42.00 for FOUR GALLONS gas! Thats not acceptable, gas was $3.44 there. The girl asked me if I wanted them to fill it up or I could fill it up, I said I would fill it up. She never said they would charge me $8.99 a gallon. I called customer service and of course its some call center overseas where you cant understand them and all they Say is sorry I cant help you! SO BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THEYRE OUT TO RIP YOU OFF IN THE FINE PRINT!
I am very dissatisfied with Advantage. I arrived and made it clear to the agent that I had to be somewhere. The agent, Ali, asked a lot of questions and talked quite a bit. At first I thought he was just very nice, but after reviewing the bill later - when I had more time - I realized that maybe we was trying to distract me from the add-on on charges. I do not recall what he said exactly, but when he showed me the insurance page, he presented in such a way that I had to chose one. So I opted for what seemed like the basic, no charges added choice. I am certain that he did not make it clear whatsoever that there were going to be additional charges. Again, I was trying to get out the door. I signed off on everything that appeared to be for the deposit, taxes, and tank refill I requested only to realize later that insurance had been added on. I explained this to the manager and would not hear my case. Ive rented a lot in the past, and never dealt such shady tactics. Renter beware!
Weve been getting our rent a car from them for the last 5 years (switched from Budget). We always pick up at Main Street Station and Michelle is totally awesome! Shes always so on it and the guy in the lot, hes been there a while and is really helpful.
We love our Advantage Service Agent Michelle when we travel to Las Vegas located at Main Street Hotel and Casino. She gives great professional customer service with a smile and a warm welcome. When in Vegas see her and she will take great care of you.
EDIT- I would give a 0 star if I could. They potentially will try to scam you. I reserved a full size car and paid for it up front. When I got to the place, I was told the car I reserved was not there. The agent told me the car I would be getting was lower than my initial purchase so I would be saving a bit. I was ok with that. Well come to find out, she lied and charged me for an upgrade instead so my bill was much higher. I travel a lot to Arizona to help my elderly parents, my Dad has Parkinsons, so I try to limit the amount it costs me. I would have never ever in a million years agreed to paying that much more for a car. She told me my card had to be run for the $200, but never told me she was charging me more money. Agents get commissions on upgrades so she 100% scammed me. Disgusting how they can get away with this. I was told my their customer care nothing could be done as it was a valid upgrade/agreement. Thats how they get away with it. I was only partially refunded after speaking with a 3rd agent. I already reached out to the News about these guys.STAY AWAY from this place. Its not worth itHere is a crazy thought. Hold the reservation for the car that I reserved and dont just take my business and think you can figure it out later. As usual I reserve a full size only to be told none were available when I get there. So frustrating
I have often picked up a vehicle at the car rental centre at McCarran airport Las Vegas but this was the best experience I have had, as the guy was the most polite and understood what I wanted and did not push as most counter staff do. Knowing when to pressure sell and when not to waste your time. Brilliant. 5 stars

Attractive rate but not good experiences.I have reserved a small car through AirportRentalCars. After an hour waiting, they dont have a small car. At the counter, the customer service lady was very nice. But, there is no car. They offered a minivan. We only have two people and I dont need a minivan. Eventually she offered a SUV with $60 more. I thought the company should honor the same price since you dont have the car I reserved. At the car picking place, a woman there was not friendly. This was the first time I used Advantage. This may be the last time as well.
Best deal....online order...they will upgrade....especially when out of a class... Versa changed to Santa Fe....(no extra $)I am registered with them...my check in is quick
Didnt love it, and wont use again. Staff was friendly, checking in took a long time though. Car smelled gross which we didnt figure out til we left. Return was easy, no discount for stench. Took a lot longer than promised to return security deposit to credit card, website says 3-5 days, had to call on day 12 to have it re-released (and wait another 3-5 days). All in all I do not recomend and will pay a few bucks more for a major company next trip.

Super easy picking up and checking out. No high pressure tactics on the add-on optional coverages that I already knew I did not need. I saved even more by joining the Advantage rewards program including a free day for my first rental.I do not generally expect anything positive from a car rental experience. Usually it is neutral or negative. But this rental was easy, I actually did save on my 1st rental after signing up for the rewards program (versus the fake savings from other providers) and the total experience was easy and simple.I took the time to post the review because it stands out for me in my car rental experiences.

You are on your own if you dont take our extra cover summed up their attitude to customer service. Ordered a bigger and better car and was given a smaller and inferior car, although other companies do this. The staff at the counter and at the car collection point made very little effort explaining the contract or the car. When I asked questions, they were impatient. The counter staff seemed far more interested in trying to sell me extras than helping me. They added on an extra fuel payment which I saw after examining the bill, had to argue to get it removed. I would be very hesitant about using Advantage again.
Our arrival at the rental desk was met with smile and pleasant greeting. I was asked for my surname within seconds the details were confirmed. I handed over my driving licence and a credit card and within a few minutes was handed them back with the relevant paperwork for my vehicle, which was in fact upgraded. I was advised where to collect the vehicle from and did so. Not sure how long it took but it was not long at all. Very pleased.

Rented a full-size car to drive to Palm Springs at the end of June 2019.Very nice staff, very clean and nice car. Was given a VW Passat Turbo Diesel. Very happy with the no-BS car pickup (Im used to having to deny things I dont need every time I rent a car). Wife and I dont need additional coverage/etc and the salesman understood straight away.Care drove great, was fun trying a newer diesel car.Will absolutely rent from Advantage again.

I rented a car from the Advantage desk at the Stratosphere to do some errands and visit a park. It was a great experience - easy, affordable, and convenient. I would recommend Advantage to anyone in the Las Vegas area. I was given several options, including drop off points. The staff were courteous, good natured, and extremely helpful.

Stayed at the stratosphere in Vegas and rented a car for the day from advantage. The young man behind the counter was informed about courteous. Answered all my questions. We got the economy car (2017 Yaris) which was all we needed. Drove over 400 miles in one day with it and used just over one tank of gas. Would use them again had zero issues with the experience.

Had a poor experience with this rental service. the Car was disgusting spilled spoiled milk in the backseat. it smelled like ciggarettes when rented, so to avoid loosing the 200$ deposit that they dont tell you about I had to buy can of fragrance. the car is dirty and overall in poor condition. will not beusinv this rental company again
I reserved an economy car the day before and when I arrived the man at the counter was rude and flippant. He rushed me through the process and wouldnt answer questions. No economy cars were available and he could only give me one specific make and model of diesel station wagon. He made sure to be as unpleasant as possible. I asked if I could please have a car that wasnt diesel or please have a smaller car because the large cars are hard for me to drive which is why I reserved an economy size. I called customer service and they said they have no control over the people at the actual counter location and that I would have to deal with him directly. He exchanged the car for me after I went outside and realized it had trouble starting and was very damaged on the inside and outside with multiple scratches dents and intense damage to the steering wheel that made it hard to grip. He exchanged it for a car that was exactly the same make and model and was very rude about saying that those were the only cars they had available for me unless I paid more money. When I went back out to the lot. I looked around and saw that there were multiple economy size cars available. He refused to rent me any of the economy size cars that were available in the lot and I finally left because I couldnt waste any of more of my time. Id already been there for 2 hours dealing with this. Awful experience.
I am crippled and going for surgery. Advantage Rent A Car was great about getting my sister and I to the rental car since I can’t walk very well. They were so busy when we arrived in Las Vegas with at least an hour wait. When we finally got up to the counter the man helping us was very apologetic and offered us a free upgrade to a larger SUV. We rented a compact car for 3 days while staying in Vegas. The car we originally received was falling apart, dents and scratches all over and smelt like marijuana inside. When I went to adjust the incline lever to position the seat, the entire lever detached from the seat. Very dissatisfying and left us feeling fooled into spending more money for a decent rental.
Very organized and efficient system of returning the cars, checking back in and shuttling to the airport. I would choose Advantage again.
Renting a car with Advantage was relatively easy and stress free! I got a great car, polite and professional service and a very good rate. The only issue I had was trying to find the car rental shuttle at McCarren airport. There could have been more signage but otherwise a solid experience with Advantage!
My car was fine however when returning the car the line was 7 cars deep with only one attendant on duty and his phone wasn’t working efficiently so he had to keep redoing the car checkout. I finally said I have to go after waiting 15 minutes I felt sorry for the attendant. They should have enough employees to help. I asked for the manager on duty but the counter people didn’t know where he was
Good customer service and hourly flexibility. The only bad thing was that the car we rented was with one brand new tire, and three completely worn out tires. The car was also out of windshield liquid, which we found out on the middle of the trip. So the safety tech check is poor, customer service is great, the vehicle was relatively new!

Didn’t get the best deal as advertised online and stated they ran out of the small, economic and medium size cars. A few minutes later we tried with a different employee after researching Advantage / EZ Rental Car website and we got the offer we’re looking for.
The operator Jasmine forced me to take Liability even when I refused. More, she insisted that I buy Diesel from the company. I told her why 46 $, I dont think that I will use all the tank. And Finaly, i did use only the half and they dont give you back money. Finally, their offer of $ 10 plus tax is just a scam. Be careful.
The staff was very friendly and very informative. They no longer had the type of car that I reserved they upgraded us with no cost. The car was very clean. Very pleased and will be a repeat customer.
Very disappointing experience. Added fuel charges without my knowledge or consent. Final price of renting their car was more than double the estimated charge when I booked. I called customer service when I realized they had added charges not disclosed to me, but they did nothing to rectify the problem. Deceptive business practices result in my never using Advantage rent a car again.

Great service, price was right, ...okay, so I have to add an issue that all should be aware of.So I travel to Las Vegas a couple of times a year, and have always used Advantage due to the convenience and great staff. However this last time around I was issued a diesel vehicle. Now I always return with the tank full to save me some coin...but this time I had to drive clear out of my way to find a station that sells diesel. They really should be advising their guests about the availability...or in this case lack of availability of stations selling diesel fuel. Really, my checkin with Michelle at Main Street was great, but then I had to wait about half an hour for a car to become available. And then her helper had me initial for the car and did not say anything more, even as I heard Michelle tell her to make sure she went over the particulars with me. I will still rent a car from them because the remote pick up is right where I am staying. but I was quite frustrated trying to find diesel fuel. Even with gps.
The lady at the counter was talking down to me the entire time because I didnt want to upgrade the car. She also tried sneeking the insurance on the car like it was mandatory and when I declined,she said well then how are YOU gonna pay for the car if you damage it Really?! How insulting is that. She also waited to explain their debit card policy until after I slid my debit card. Convenient for her. Finally,when we got to the car,the other lady was extremely rude as well and was burdened my me asking where i bring the car back after. I dont know if it was just the location here in Las Vegas,but their are too many other car rental places to go to instead of putting up witb that level of derogatory insults for my business. Also,dont believe them when they give you the whole price for a full tank of gas here is XX less than around the city They just want the extra money. It is no cheaper through them. I highly recommend staying away and will not be going back.

This location is convenient and Michelle ( the agent) is soooo friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There is only one agent working here so the line can sometimes get quite long. But Michelle is wonderful at multitasking and problem solving that the line will dissipate quickly. Thank you also to the guys who work outside! One even assisted me to locate my car. Sorry I didn’t get a name, but he was friendly too!The team that works at your Mainstreet location is an asset to your company. Although they work under the difficult circumstances being a very, very small operation, they are extremely efficient, friendly and I will definitely rent my car here again. Worst car rental experience ever. Agents are very pushy trying to get me buy extra stuffs from them.Didnt get the car in the full as promised. First car given was with damaged all around. I asked for a different car and get an old beat up and dirty car. The agent said that all they have or I can just wait until another car is available. Cant you believe that?Definitely stay away from this company in the future.

Counter staff didnt take the time to explain anything. They just mumbled through everything. They also marked the tank was full - and it was only 3/4 full, so I ended up having to pay for 1/4 tank of fuel I didnt use.They were certainly cheaper - so I guess you get what you pay for. However, I do not plan on using advantage again. Very poor service and customer care.
