Nice new building, good amenities, ideal location next to campus for students. Now complaints.major complaints are the walls are pretty think you can hear lots from other rooms and outside your room if youre near major amenities such as the gym or game room. For some reason the TV is mounted very low as well blocking lots of space on the desk if you wanted to make use of that and late at night for some reason people will drive around very loudly in the parking garage and it will set off car alarms that are very loud this is a almost daily occurrence at the moment. Also, it doesnt show on the website but youll either get a room with a view of the strip of the parking garage which isnt ideal and if youre on the parking garage side youll defintely be dealing with those random car alarms.
So there seems to be a Huge disconnect with the lease office and maintenance team.My biggest problem is with maintenance as I literally got woken up this morning by them hammering next door at 8am. I cant even enjoy some sleep on my days off of work.Yesterday I went to my Dr appointment and when I came back to my apartment my things were moved around and the floor borders were torn off by the front entry way. I was scared and didnt know what was going on. I didnt receive any notifications so I called the office and the guy literally had no idea what I was talking about and said someone would call back but never did. I had to go to the lease office to get some answers and they had to come in my apartment to see what I was talking about. They said that maintenance got the wrong apartment and that it was a mistake. This is horrifying to me as people came into my apartment without me knowing or giving permission to do something totally uncalled for, touched my things and property. Then I had to wait for them to come fix it. Another day off wasted with inconvenience.Im wondering if I should sue because of them unlawfully entering my home without permission or notification. Im truly upset because this is not the first time maintenance has entered without my permission. They come and go as they please and I think that they should be fired and replaced with a more professional crew. Now I have so much anxiety about the next time some stranger will come into my apartment and tear things up or just walk in like they own the place. And this is what Im paying for???
My boyfriend and I were looking for a furnished place to stay for 3 months and we literally searched online to find a place that fit our budget and needs for weeks. In the end, we decided that The You was the best option since they all came furnished and with an in-unit washer/dryer. We were also looking for a place that had a decent gym and as a studio or 1 bedroom. Most furnished places either did not allow short-term stays or cost an additional $450 per month, so in the end, The You was a no-brainer.The You is also located super close to The Strip but is also conveniently located next to UNLV, meaning it is surrounded by restaurants and stores. Also, they have a large community kitchen & bbq grill on the 7th floor and an amazing 8th floor roof area with a beautiful pool. You also cant get into the lobby of the apartments unless you have a key, so we felt safer here compared to other apartments. Another plus is that they have a parking structure to park at rather than just out on the street or outside! We were initially worried that the studio would be too small for the both of us, but weve been finding that its way more roomy than we thought it would be. Were super happy with our choice so far!
I was truly excited to move here two weeks ago. Promises were made that were not kept by the management, specifically moving us to a strip view when one became available. According to Veronica, earlier today that will never happen, even though they are advertising move in specials for strip views. VERY DISINGENUOUS. Litany of problems in the unit we are in a/c conditioner is so loud that it is hard to sleep at night. Very noisy you can hear the neighbors talking on both sides.................lots of problems and maintenance not up to date with management..security cameras dont work either, one of the tenants lost his phone and could not track down at all bc NONE of the cameras work.Think twice about moving here!
Black mold, no ac, maintenance doesn’t fix work orders including move in inspections, selling leases under false pretenses, blatant lies from management and employees, petty theft from property management ALL targeted at STUDENTS who wouldn’t want to live here?! I know I love sitting in my apartment with no ac, working washing machine, or smart home system with no access to amenities!
I am absolutely loving The yoU. I recently moved here and it has surpassed my expectations in every aspect. The staff is incredibly attentive, professional and supportive. Everything is so clean and well taken care of. There are so many nice amenities and everything is so pleasant. The Vibe at The yoU is also awesome. The yoU was the perfect choice for me as it fulfills my living needs at the moment.
The staff are friendly, made a seamless move in even with the unprecedented times COVID has presented, quick and easy. The facility is always clean and all the residents are very friendly. The rooftop pool, game room, and study room, along with the restaurants was the icing on the cake for me! I think they are also doing MacBook pro giveaway if you sign your lease soon, so definitely take advantage.
Love living at The yoU. As a professional who works and plays in the city, I can tell you the location is sick.I live in a 6 pack and the space and kitchen is to die for.I can get to the strip in minutes and to the airport in minutes as well. Tons of great food, places to eat on-site as well.Staff is great and the amenities are solid as well.Love living here.
Avoid at all cost!!! do not be allured. they are shaky, flaky, and they BAIL on people. the units have black mold and are cockroach infested.
Crystal was very helpful, although prices seem steep, the building is more than worth the price. From the beautiful and spacious floor plans to the 24/7 amenities. The you living is the pinnacle of UNLV college living. The building is lined with fun shops and places to grab a bite, the word convenient has never been a better fit for how I feel in this building!!!
Before I got my keys, I signed the lease online, and got all my questions answered via e-mail promptly. Move-in process is quite simple, and I got a free set of induction cookware as well. My room is pretty much what the pictures on the website look like. Interestingly enough, the ceiling is not painted, because apparently the owner of the building prefers an industrial look. Same with certain parts of the wall out in the hallway. I personally dont care for it, but its what it is.Have been here for 2 weeks now and havent had any issues. Management is very responsive and great so far. Havent had any issues with any of the neighbors. All in all, not much to complain about.
Best staff in the leasing office EVER! Always courteous, prompt and attentive... Great price, location, amenities, you can ask for!But lets talk about that weird guy who claims that hes the owner. Always wearing the SAME CLOTHES (man go get it washed or change), but seriously, who wants to live in a COLLEGE apartment complex with this guy walking around ALL THE TIME! Probably why you cant even use the amenities (like the most amazing ROOF TOP pool) because he lives below WHERE WE ALL WANT TO PARTY! Get a job or find a place where its age appropriate vs. trying to hit up on all the college kids.Went here to visit friends and checked out to see if this is where I wanted to stay but honestly this guy is a deal breaker!
I have been living here since November of 2020. Overall not a bad spot. Its across the street from UNLV. No need to drive to the gym or class. The bottom level outside has food, coffee, boba. Rooftop pool, fireplace, and BBQ grills. Secure building access. Amazon delivery into lock boxes. The staff in the leasing office are extremely professional and work hard to resolve issues. Big shout out to Crystal, Jonathan, and Hope!
I’ve only lived here a week, but I love it! The staff are all friendly and polite, especially Chrystal and Jonathan. The building is kept clean and safety isn’t a concern. It’s a little more expensive than other UNLV housing options, but you really get what you pay for. I would recommend this for anyone attending UNLV over all the other nearby options.
Ive been here several months as of writing, and Im positive I made the right choice in moving here. Staff is lovely, the amenities are nice, and the pool is relaxing with an amazing view. The provided furnishings are also excellent, making this an easy move even across the country. The available restaurants on the first floor of the building and nearby all provide a wide selection of choices. Overall this is a great place to live.
The staff is so nice and welcoming. The amenities are amazing and the strip view studios are so much bigger than I thought, the photos online make the rooms seem smaller. I thought the rooms were a bit expensive at first but after seeing it in person, the complex has a lot to offer and they have some good specials going on.
Chill spot, really dope amenities. Staff is really nice and always helpful with my work orders & other stuff. Price is a bit high, but you do get a lot with it. Every where you look is a view of the Las Vegas strip. Very relaxing at night.
I took a tour of the apartment and it was super convenient, crystal and hope made it super easy for me to lease the appointment and give me all the information required to do so. I had an awesome experience.
Love living here! The view is beautiful, everyone is super friendly, and the staff is hands down amazing. They really do go out of their way to help you. 10/10 would move in again. On top of that, the restaurants downstairs are pretty epic!
The yoU is so different from all the other properties around UNLV! Their studios remind me of apartments in Europe or something! It’s definitely on the pricier side, but it makes sense with all that they have to offer! I toured with a couple of my friends and the staff was so nice and helpful!
My situation changed and I ended up staying at the apartments Im at now, but my friend lives here and her studio apartment is gorgeous! High ceilings, quality interior, and graceful designs provide top notch views of the strip and the valleys mountains on the upper floors. Its neat that each landing and floor is themed by a different amenity (gym, study, game room, communal kitchen, etc.). Folks in the office are super friendly, and there is a coffee house and restaurants outside the secure lobby/mailroom on the ground floor. Grocery store and gas stations are within walking distance. UNLV campus and transit center are across the street, too. Thats hard to beat!
Good customer service. And very gentle the workers there.
Love all the amenities!! The gym, study area, and game room all have a view of the strip. There is also an outdoor bbq, fire pit and rooftop pool that are open until 10pm (much later than other apartments). Not to mention super close to campus and has great restaurants downstairs (discounts for residents).
Staff is awesome and extremely helpful. Beautiful views of the strip and great food.
The you apartments are the best with customer service it’s an absolute joy to stay here love it.
Love living here, every one is super nice! The staff is amazing and always willing to help out! 10/10 would move in again. The shops on the first floor are pretty amazing too!
We love theyoU apartment community. So many thanks to Rachel and Sandy for finding us a safe, modern, clean, and cool place for our daughter to move into for her internship in Vegas. They were so helpful in accommodating our needs as we were traveling from very far and choosing this apartment sight unseen. We made the right choice... the facility is beautiful and the service is impeccable. Ignore the other reviews; the management is above standard!
Beautiful cozy great location! Staff is amazing!
It was an amazing tour, great customer service and great over all experience.
Place has nice amenities, cool rec area & study room.Perfect place for UNLV students. Enforced COVID-19 rulesBeing a med student, that’s was a PLUS 4 me! Nice staff. The only con I see is, getting locked out and there’s no oneOn staff to let you in, my experience with that was horrible!!Was locked out for 4 to 5 hours until I eventually went to university police & they called someone to let me in #markssecurity but overall nice place. Pricing is a little high butWith all you get with that price it’s okay.
Simply Amazing! Modern and sleek apartment homes. With plenty of private and community spaces! Whether you want to relax and study or if you want to have a cappuccino with your neighbors, you always have the chance to do so. It is fun enjoy a game of pool or lounge by the pool. It is a great location too!
Dont get me wrong, it is a little pricey, BUT its close to everything and the updates and amenities are amazing! I love swimming after school while watching the sunset! That was fun! Also, I found after shopping around, since all utilities are included, the price becomes reasonable and comparable! I love mine and am recommending it to everyone! Check it out for yourself and youll see what Im saying!
There is a change in management, I will adjust starts and upload information on a current topic YOU NEED to know before signing any lease!!!! As soon as I hear back from them I will post.I am one of the first 10 tenants, I’ve met personal, contractors, neighbors etc and I’ve SEEN EVERYTHING that has happened in here. Feel free to contact me with any questions that prompted you to read reviews to decide between here or elsewhere.
This place is pretty dope and it’s right across the street from in-n-out and right next door to cafe rio! I just kind of wish their gym was a bit bigger, like maybe a couple more machines like the stairs!
Great staff, clean amenities, and great resteraunts located underneath!
Worst place I have ever lived. Don’t be fooled by the view. All materials in the building are cheap and constantly break. The positive reviews are all fake. They have only 15 percent of the building occupied and that’s including Airbnb. STAY AWAY
Enjoyed my tour with Iris :) She showed me a studio that was furnished. The living place of the unit is really nice. Also the views from studio and pool were amazing balls! This is a beautiful complex.
I’ve never been more disappointed in a living arrangement in my life. Paid way too much to receive so little... I wouldn’t suggest this place to a homeless person. Sorry not sorry.
Great friendly and professional staff.
This place is amazing. Finally there is a place where you can bring a suitcase and move in to the most happening area of town. I cant wait to move in.
Apartment is decent however this has got to be worst customer service ( leasing office ) I’ve ever came across in my life. It might as well be nonexistent, The pool and Jacuzzi are out of order and just pray you don’t need any help with anything from the office. Also ridiculously overpriced!
Nice amenities and great place to stay
The staff was amazing. Loved the view from the apt million dollar views
Anyone living there at The You currently? What is the internet speed inside the Studios? Upload and Download ? Which provider? Thank you
Terrible place. Stay away. Overpriced, terrible management, terrible building quality. Not a single positive thing.
I wanna move here now lol
Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Crystal and Jonathan are gems.
Great place and great restaurants
Delusional owner and management. Rough neighborhood, no windows in any of the units; no stove in any of the units; everything is always broken and they want 90210 prices.
Ridiculously overpriced for a tiny little studio in a bad area. Who cares if it looks nice and is updated, for that price you can get a nice 500+sqft studio or a 1 bedroom in a better area.
The 8th floor rooftop pool view overlooking the city and mountains is inspiring, especially during sunset. The red rectangular design at the top and the entire architecture is distinct and striking. I love the convenience of the coffee shops and restaurants downstairs. The studio apartments include everything I need while the communal amenity spaces are perfect for meeting up with friends to work on passion projects. I love the close proximity to UNLV so I can easily check out the latest work of local artists at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art or visit the esports or robotics labs across the street. It’s also super close to Chinatown and DTLV which is a plus!
Horrible building, terrible management, surrounded by homeless people, super expensive, not even worth the one star!
Excellent customer service, and very knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all my questions without a problem.
Brand New - Beautiful and staff is friendly
Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Fresh. Innovative. Unique.
