Called Larson Air on 7/02/21. Even though there was a heatwave and it was a 3 day holiday weekend, they were able to get the supplies and the unit needed. Our AC unit was installed on 7/07. Now we are sitting in our nice COOL home. Thank you, Larson Air for a speedy response and a job well done.

It’s 115 degrees and A/C goes out. We called Larson Air, and able to get an appointment the same day. Manny and Cody came during time frame given. During 100° temperature, my AC fan went out. I called Larson AC And a nice man named Travis answered the phone. I told him my situation and that the house was overheating, so he responded to my house within one hour and fixed the issue. Complete professionalism at its best. Thank you Travis! I came across this company due to searching for HVAC service in the northwest part of Las Vegas. The reviews were great and their location was very close to me so I decided to give the company a try and I am very grateful that I did. My AC started to give me problems at 7pm and I was able to schedule service for the very next morning at 7am. Their system was quick and easy to use, and gave confirmation of appointment right away. The technician that arrived was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. I explained the issue and he walked me through instant problems that may be at fault with potential remedies and solutions. He inspected the system, showed me the issue and true to his word, fixed the problem making sure I understood what was wrong, what was needed and why it was needed. The service was quick and had my AC up and running in no time. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of routine service or in an emergency.

Cody, our service provider arrived as scheduled to do an AC tune-up & noticed a potential issue - he replaced the questionable part & was very pleasant & professional, explaining the repair as he did it. Travis, the business owner, was great to work with & responded to our needs promptly! Thank you!!!In July, during a Vegas heat wave, our air conditioner wasnt functioning properly. We contacted Travis, who assured us that his crew would respond although it was already early evening. Cody & Manny arrived within an hour, diagnosed & replaced the part & we were up & running again! Ive never had an experience like this before. What started as one of the best customer service experiences Ive had, ended up with me threatening to get police involved, because these people tried ripping me off so badly.The guys that showed up to do the job did great for the most part. They listened to my problem and set to work to find the cause. About 15 minutes later they come down and tell me its fixed. A couple of wires had vibrated off their sheathing and shorted out. The tech told me they put some electrical tape around the wires to stop them from contacting.Then they told me their electric wireing fee was a whopping $489, and that I had to pay the $89 diagnostic fee too. For a total of $578. I said that sounds like a charge for redoing the wiring on a unit, not a band-aid fix. I said that the $89 diagnostic fee and 1 hour of their labor rate seems way more realistic, which should be under $250. The tech called their boss and he said hed only be giving me a $50 dollar discount.I tried to get the tech to reason with their boss before I had to go to drastic measures, but this fell on deaf ears. They started threatening me with going back into my house and locking me out of the a/c unit, telling me I was unprofessional, that Im paying for their knowledge and not how much work they actually performed.I told them that I only agreed to an $89 diagnosis, and that I never gave the go ahead for this $489 repair before they did it. Then I told them I wasnt letting them back into my house unless the police tell me to, and that we should probably call the non-emergency line to get an officer to mediate now, because I am absolutely not going to pay what they were asking.The techs said no this is too far, well just take the $250 and pay the difference out of our checks, trying to guilt me. Long story short, I paid $250, which was still a rip off for the service I got, and we didnt end up having to call the police.So this morning I tried calling and talking to someone in charge of this place. Some guy named Travis answers the phone and tells me hes able to take the complaint, but wouldnt tell me his role in the company. Anyway I explained the situation and he starts in on the same rediculous reasoning for what they tried to charge me. But then takes it further and threatened to send me to collections for the remaining balance, and that theyd sue me for slander if I write a bad review...Avoid this place like the plague. All their good reviews were probably bought from a Chinese marketing firm for $20.

After our A/C went out during a heatwave and having a sick kid, Larson Air was the only company who was available to come that day after we called over 15 companies. They diagnosed the problem quickly and were unsure if they would be able to get the part until a couple of days later due to how old our unit was. But, they were able to get the part and our AC back up and running the next morning.

Thank to Travis and Zach for getting our air conditioner back in service today! The whole process took about 4 hours from my first call to signing the bill after the work was done – amazing customer service!I called another company early yesterday – a big commercial name here in Vegas. Someone stopped by at the end of yesterday saying we needed a belt and they’d send over a proposal for approval. When I didn’t have anything by this morning, I called again. They said I would have the proposal by the end of today… then after I approved the proposal, they would order the belt then “get back to you when it comes in to schedule installation.” I asked them if they realize this is Las Vegas and it’s nearing the middle of July with daily temps approaching 110 degrees? They said “that’s our process.” I said, “I’m calling someone else then… that’s my process.”Your honesty on the phone and quick response sold me! I’ll be recommending Larson Air to everybody from now on! Thanks again!

Last night our air conditioner unit went down. Combined with the brutal heat and having our two young children, I needed help quickly. I called Larson Air and Travis answered the phone and was on it right away!We requested service for the problem we were having with our air conditioning system at 7:45 pm with Travis for the next day between 7-8 am. First, They showed up at 7:20am the very next morning,we were highly impressed that the technician called before arrival and arrived on time. Zach was extremely professional and showed us the cause of the problem we were having and gave us his advice on the best way to fix the problem. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and capability and certainly appreciated the manner in which he discussed the problem with us.I wanted to let you know how appreciative we were of the caliber of service we received from Zach and Travis from start to finish. A few nights ago during the heat wave my AC was humming and vibrating quite a bit. After turning it off that night, it refuses to power back on. I made an appointment at 9pm that night, got a response that somebody would be at my house between 7-10 the following morning. The technician that came that day showed up at 8, and was able to identify and fix the issue within an hour. I was very impressed with how quick and responsive they were!

These Fellas are so welcoming and punctual when they arrived this morning! Very quick and efficient service! I called on Friday, Nov. 22 around lunchtime with heater issues, Travis had a new unit in my home 24 hours later! Technicians were very polite and respectful. NOW they want to charge $50.00 more than other companies to service my NEW 1 year old unit! There are a lot of a/c providers in the area. Larson is the only one I called! I messed up! Shop around if you want to save money!I just talked to Travis about the cost of servicing almost double what other companies charge. He’s got my money and doesn’t really GIVE A DAMN who I get to tune it up! Very UNPROFFESSIONAL!

We had our downstairs air conditioning go out one evening and I called and was set up for an appointment promptly the next morning to diagnose the problem. The technician, Tim, was on time and as courteous and kind as any person I have ever had in my home. Tim communicated thoroughly about what he was going to do to figure out what the problem was. He found a remedy to the situation quickly and even answered questions about our aging HVAC equipment honestly and thoughtfully. I have young children and he was so incredibly kind when interacting with them as well. I received a follow up from Larson Air the next day making sure that everything went well and to make sure that I was completely satisfied. I was completely impressed with every interaction I had with Larson Air, fantastic service over the phone and in person. I would highly recommend and use again and again.

Ive been nothing but pleased with the response and service Ive gotten from Larson Air. I messaged Travis early in the day and he was able to get out to me within a few hours and help diagnose and repair the issue I had with my unit. Travis was very knowledgeable about his craft, and had no issues answering any questions I had about my system. Cooling is expensive in Vegas, so you should anticipate shelling out for an actual fix rather than hoping for a hacked together solution that will break in less than a year. Nothing like being quoted for a $420 capacitor that costs $15 online. Buyer beware.Update: I called right after getting the reply to their message and was told someone would call me back. That was 5 days ago. I hate to tell you but 1 review doesnt always mean a fake or competitor, which at this point I dont think a competitor is trying to pull your business down any, you are doing a good job of that on your own. Also, of course my user name wouldnt be in your system, but you could find me by my last name if you actually did keep a record of your customers. I since have replaced the $15 part and it works great, however our other system still was not doing great, that you guys were suppose to check out as well when you were there, so I had another tech from a different company come out and they stated it just needed to be charged. So not only did you try to gouge me for a $15 part, but you failed to find a simple low freon in the other system either. So lets just count this as 3 strikes. Others that are reading, call around or read reviews, because it seems to be harder and harder to find a descent HVAC company in this town.

Our unit froze up, had a tech come out to check it out and he told us it was completely out of freon and that we had a major leak. He charged us $1000 for a condenser and to tell us we needed a new unit, but when he left, nothing was fixed, so why the huge price tag???Called another company today and they came out and told us that the control board is bad, they put in a jumper to get the system to work for the time being, but he said that there was no leak in the system to be found, and it was full of freon. He turned the system back on with his temp fix and it is cooling fine. Told us we are nearing the end of life of our system as it is aging, but to prolong it, we can put in a new board. End of the day, $80 service call and the air is working.You tell me, sound legit or scam to get you to buy a new system through them?I posted the above on their Facebook page and was told that they were sending their lawyers my info for slander and that we had not changed our air filters and they were filthy. This was not true, and I responded this below.Larson Air that is completely incorrect. Our air filters were not clogged, as there were just fine when the technician looked at them and even said so to my mother who was here at the time. We change them like clockwork, thank you, so your technician obviously told you a lie.I am also not afraid of your scare tactics, since it seems you have no idea who you are even speaking to. Your tech said our system was completely out of R-22, and added a couple pounds, he said it had a leak and he couldn’t find it. When you left, the system DID NOT WORK, unless you call a fan running and not cooling a working unit. Yes he changed out a part, but that did NOT make the system work. Any decent business would have taken the parts back out since they didn’t fix the problem and your end goal was to sell a new unit, yet your tech decided to leave them and charge an elderly person for them. I call that taking advantage of an elderly person.Your options, a new unit or chase down a leak (for a couple more thousand). You say the $1000 that she was charged will go towards the purchase of a new unit, but that is just a tactic to get us to use your shady company again. Interesting that the next tech found no leak when tested, but found a faulty board, which your tech didn’t even find.

I called Larson Air today so they could look at the air conditioning system on a home I recently purchased. The home inspector said that the air temperature coming out if the vents wasnt as cold has it needed to be. I guess the temperature needs to be 18-22 degrees different from the intake. Mine was only 12 degrees so there was an issue. I called and scheduled a technician for Wednesday between 12-3 pm, the technician called when he was in the way which was nice. He found that the A/C needed about 2 pounds of R-22. Thats the coolant in the system. Once he added it the home cooled down really quick. He recommended a new system because if the age of the unit. So I will be replacing the whole HVAC system in about a month.

Used Larson back in 2012 to fix a part on my air conditioner. Was pleased with their service then...cant say that now!! I had originally called an evening before they could actually come out. Knowing I had decent service from them before, I decided to wait the extra evening to call someone else because they promised me they would come out the next morning...even though it was sweltering 107° that day...BIG MISTAKE!! The service tech replaced my capacitor and everything was fine until later in the afternoon when my AC went out again! The technician was at my house in the mid morning for only about 30 minutes from the time he arrived to changing out the capacitor...later on in the day the fan stopped blowing. I would think he would make sure everything was running tip top since they charge $89 to diagnose...PLUS the nearly $500 part...SUPER DISAPPOINTED!! I feel like Im stuck now waiting for him to come out again to fix...needed to leave out of town today but thats not happening! Beware...there are other HVAC companies out there who will gladly make sure their customers are left with a properly running AC. I dont recommend this company at all, but feel like Im at their mercy to finish the job they should have properly fixed in the first place!! And I am a real customer so if any owner response says otherwise, I can easily post a pic of my invoice to prove I am a real customer!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

My furnace was a tough case. It wasnt clear why it wouldnt stay ignited, and after Joshs initial visit it was still only working occasionally. He came back a couple days later on a Friday evening to make it right, even though hed been in a car accident the day before. Its great to deal with a company that stands behind its work.

I have used them for my air conditioner and heater. A year after repairing my heater, I had to have them back out, but it was something very simple and they didnt even charge me since no parts needed to be replaced. Their response time is very fast and usually same day. I would recommend them to everybody.

They charge 129 just to show up, technician quoted a huge price said it would be well over 1,000 and the 129 stick it to you fee. I elected to call another company that was much more honest, they charged 50 to look at it and almost 1/3 of the total amount Larson quoted to fix it. I was so happy with the other company I signed a maintenance agreement with them for all my company stores.

5-stars ripoff artistBe skeptical of the fake positive reviews here (a few were even posted by last names Larson and Larsen, lol) and stay away from this place for any of your air conditioning needs. You’ve been warned. So my tenant texted me that the upstairs unit went out again. He found Larson and asked if I could call them. I called and the owner asked for my credit card info right away before he would send a tech out. This sounded a little shady already as I had never heard of this place and I’m asked to hand over my credit card number, expiration date, security code, and zip to a total stranger but I did it anyway because I know how hot it must be in Vegas. The owner said that the tech will come out between 3pm and 6pm the same day, run a diagnostic, and let me know what the problem is and that I would have to sign an approval statement before they perform the work. Sounded okay to me.So the tech called me four times. First time to let me know he tried calling my tenant to let him know he was on his way but no one picked up. Second time to let me know he had arrived and he would call me again after the diagnostic. On the third call he told me I needed two electrical parts that would cost me a total of $908. OMG! I had a real part, which was the compressor motor replaced three years ago and that was only $600. What are these electrical parts, a diode and a capacitor? He also tried to upsell me some kind of fancy $500 protection kit which I politely declined. I wanted the problem fixed so I gave him the go-ahead on the $908 fix. Half hour later he called me and told me the work is done and my total is $1,037, including a $129 diagnostic fee that no one ever mentioned, the tenant had already signed the paper, and he wanted my credit card info over the phone again. This place wins the scam artist of the day award.So the lesson here is always take your time and get multiple quotes and never jump on the first one. Unfortunately, I live 300 miles away and feel like I’m at their mercy to not price gouge me. The entire service call was less than 1.5 hours and they charged me $1,037 for probably couple dollar worth of parts. This place is a 5-star rip-off artist.

Larson just left my apartment! its 10:10 am on Thursday morning and they came shortly after we called. Finally we found a company that will work around our schedule. We called them around 9 am today in a frozen panic and the truth is the second we got off the phone with them I felt much better. I called a couple of other companies, the prices were all in the same ballpark.. We used this company because they said they would work around my schedule and be right over because I had to go to work. I am glad I did ! Anyone reading this, I 100% vouch for this company if you have heating or air conditioning issues call them they are very good .... Thanks again Travis

Called to ask how much to install freon R22 and he said he will not give price needs to come out for 79.00 and he wants to ripe you off and charge you 200 per pound the cost of r-22 is 16.00 his cost dont use this guy he will cheat you and not a good rep with BBB dont use him
