I called because my heating system would not turn on unless I turned it off and on for about 4 to 5 times using the control panel. Alaskan came out and I paid 89.00 for an inspection. They said it was an issue with a part not closing properly and said they fixed the issue. The next day, no heat again. They came back out and said it was a part needing replaced. It was $580.00. The next day, called again, no heat. This time its the outlet for the unit. So they said to call an electrician, and not to call them back out? Really disappointed that its now an electrician that I have to call. Granted this was in March, but wanted to share this because I am still not happy about spending so much money and it turned out to be a outlet that is the real issue. Now it will not turn on at all.I canceled their emails and the auto generated email asked why. I said I felt I paid to replace a part to fix my heating issue was a waste of money when it it was an outlet issue. No one responded. I will not be using them again. I cant afford to pay $669.00 to fix a issue, and still not have it fixed. Thank you for listening, and just giving honest feedback on Alaskan.

I was very impressed with the technicians at Alaskan!Tim did the maintenance flush and check on our water heater. He showed me the sediments in the drained water and thoroughly explained everything to me. He was very professional and polite!Our drain in the shower was clogged and he took out all the crud he could reach. It worked and there was no charge for that because he didnt have to use the auger. It was so nice he offered to do that!He did an excellent job!Chris was out to do our AC Maintenance. I liked how he cleaned the small electrical box and checked all the wires. He sprayed some special cleaning solution on the AC before hosing it down.He was very professional! Very thorough inspection I liked how everything was explained to me.I will definitely use Alaskan Air again and ask for the technicians that just did our services!

Saturday evening, 7pm, 105 degrees outside, I called they sent a Technician, he diagnosed problem, had part on his truck. 2 hrs. later he was done!! Couldn’t say enough about the Technician, courtesy, efficient, polite, knowledgeable. Great Co. thanks for having that kind of service and great Tech’s!!Did I mention Saturday night 7pm, 105 degrees and responds in 20 minutes!! I’d like to give them 6 stars!And what about the price you ask? Well if you factor in the temperature & the day & the time, I’d say very reasonable!!

When I got home today, my air conditioning wasn’t working. I called Alaskan and they were so helpful and told me the on call tech would call me shortly. Robert came out this evening and was absolutely great. He was friendly and went above and beyond. My house is back to a wonderful cool temperature thanks to him.

Had a problem with my AC unit not blowing any air. They were quick to diagnose and get the part ordered. Once the part was delivered they were able to get it installed the same day.

My air conditioner stopped working and I called around to see if I could get someone to come look at it. Alaskan had someone available same day. The tech arrived clean and well dressed. After going through it I was worried he would try to sell me on a new hvac system since mine is older. He said the motor was out and that we could just replace the motor since the rest of the unit was in good working condition. He ordered the part and next day came and installed the new motor. I had cool air blowing in no time. I would definitely recommend Alaskan air and give Robert, my service technician 5 stars.

Tim and Matt came out to service my hot water heater and inspect my water lines and went above and beyond in their service.Then today I called and spoke with Andrea (very friendly and helpful) about a pilot light issue and she got me on the books asap. We managed to fix the issue ourselves, so I called back and spoke with Kayla (also very friendly and helpful) to cancel. She canceled it immediately (no kind of charge) and offered to refund my payment immediately.Overall I have been extremely happy with Alaskan Plumbing for several years now. I highly recommend them!

I called them to come out and replace my moms air conditioner. They sent a young lady out who claimed to have fixed something but come to find out she just used a water hose on the unit . And it wasn’t fixed but she charged me $300 . So I called that night to have someone sent back out and I had to keep calling to catch up with someone. Finally they sent someone out the next day and he checked and said that in fact the unit was no longer any good and he assured me I would get a refund. I had to call for about 2 days, left vm and no call was returned so I actually went in and spoke with the owners and they assured me I would get a refund but I never got it . And I can’t get anyone to pick up the phone or return any call and it’s been a little over 2 weeks . Very unprofessional and I’m not pleased with the customer service they provide .

Having the AC die in July is never fun, but Alaskan was great throughout the process. Great staff and they fit us in as quickly as possible.

Alaskan started the job at the beginning of October 2020. The sales guy, Marcell, and installation technicians were great. They were prompt and on-time, did a great job and left me with a much better AC. As advertised they had to remove some drywall and insulation during the install. No surprises. With all that said, Alaskan ensured me that they were going to clean up their mess and repair the opening to my attic.The repair to my attic opening took a bit longer than anticipated. The repair is now scheduled for this weekend (2/26). The sub contractor claimed they had trouble getting a hold of me. I checked my records and couldnt find any evidence of their calls. We were able to cool down and Chad from Alaskan and I talked, I told him what I found, and he was apologetic. I very much appreciated this. I also apologized for my short tempter and we had a good talk about the path forward.Bottom line, some things were dropped by their subcontractor. Chad (and Alaskan) were willing to talk through it and still ensure the job was done. They even offered financial compensation if I had to pay anything out of pocket, but that wasnt the case. While I cant give them a 5 star review, I am making this edit from 1 to 3 stars. The willingness to talk it out and apologize goes a long way, and that is admirable since in the end we are not perfect.

We have had great service from this company twice this year. Our fan motor went out in our AC unit in July and Stephen was at our home within an hour of our call. We were back in AC comfort lighting fast. They were back at our home for winter maintenance this week and Stephen once again did an amazing job. He explain what he saw and what we could do to keep our 18 year old unit in good working order.

Called their emergency number on memorial day around noon when the AC died. They promised a call back in 24 hours.Around 3pm the next day when no callback materialized. I called again. They promiaed to send someone between 4 and 6.After waiting three hours for a tech who never showed up, i called again.The person that answered wouldnt identify herself by name and refused to give me any information. She did promise to give my message to the technician. You know... The one that didnt show up.Undependable rude and totally incapable of taking responsibility or fulfill their committmentsEdit to address the owners response.I do not and have never had an outstanding balance with alaska air. I am a tenant in the house where I live. The representative we dealt with was aware that there was a tenant on premises and a remote landlord who was paying. She spoke tp both of us. My landlord to arrange the repair and me to set up a two hour window when I would be at home to let the technicians in.I dont know what the deal with an outstanding balance was, but if there was one, it is perfectly reasonable that AA did not want to render additional service until it had been settled.However, if that was the case they should have called me directly to tell me the appointment was canceled the same way they called me directly to make it.Its common sense and common courtesy. If you tell someone ill be there between 4 and 6 wait around for me in your sweltering hot house then you decide not to come (even if you have a good reason) you call them back and tell then not to wait around for you

They have always been on time for their services. I purchased a multi year maintenance program, and they come out twice a year to make sure all systems are running correctly and to assure I wont have any untimely failures. I love to support local small business especially since Im a fairly new small business here in the Las Vegas Valley.

The Alaskan Plumbing crew installed a new water heater for us. Their two man crew was on time, and very professional and did great job. When finished their cleanup was great. From this experience I would highly recommend them.

I just want to comment on the technician-Angelica. She arrived on time and was pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable about our system.The service required her to go into the attic which she did safely. Angelica left the work area clean. When the service was complete she informed us that our ducts were very dusty and suggested a cleaning. All we ever heard about duct cleaning was that it was a scam and pretty expensive. We made no decision at this time.I would recommend your company along with this technician. She is an asset to your company.

They installed a new Hot Water Heater in December for us as an Authorized Installer of Lowes. Then we called them for a quote for new HVAC System right away. They are professional, clean uniforms with employees names on them, Company name on all their Service Trucks, had Rebates for the Lennox Unit and were reasonably priced, Install date on time, and worked so efficiently with no mess. So proud of our Unit and workmanship, and warranty. We would highly recommend Alaskan Plbg, Htg & Air over any other company out there.

Joey showed great professionalism as a face for his company. Had to do a plumbing maintenance throughout the whole house. He was so thorough, clean and kind, I almost didnt know he was there. You know its a great compnay when your employees love their job. It really shines in their work! Truly a company that cares about their employees. I pre-warned Joey about my scaredy cat potentially freaking out. So even when the cat stayed calm after Joey was working near by, you know this is a good sign of nice people. I never heard my cat scamper away. That was a huge hurdle for my cat. I just cant say enough good things about them. I will refer their good name to everyone. Truly someone you can trust!!!

Alaskan installed a new AC unit for me a couple of years ago. They were on time and clean. I had to have a check up on my unit to make sure everything was running well. Had another company put up solar and change some things to make the house more energy efficient. That didnt go so well. Call Alaskan to come back to the house to fix the thermostat. They worked their magic. I love how helpful and concern they are to make us comfortable during these hot summer days

Our A/C went out on Saturday and we had a full house with kids and grandkids. Upstairs was over 90 degrees and we were in despair until we called Alaskan. Their tech Marcel was at our house within the hour and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. Very professional and knowledgeable! He explained and educated us on the probable cause. Alaskan Heating and Air has been amazing. Been a client for many years. Had two of my HVAC systems changed, which is never an exciting expense, for some it financially devastating replacing one unit let alone two.The team at Alaskan gave us many options and never tried any crazy sales tactics to pressure us or upsell to something we didn’t need.Also they have a plumbing division and offers free inspection if worried about the life of your water heater.

The first contact with Alaskan happened after my garage flooded from a water heater tank that failed. As I searched for a plumbing company I remembered their bill board so I gave them a call. They were very fast in the response and within 24 hours of first contact I had a brand new tankless water heater installed. I was shocked when they arrived when they said. In discussions with the Service personnel I discovered that they had a service plan I could purchase to have my a/c and heat checked every spring and fall I liked it was a good deal and what I really wanted. We wound up purchasing two new HVAC systems from them. Once again they arrived when they said and made sure I understood how everything worked before they left. Alaskan is the best contractor I have ever interacted with. We have two other a/c units that will need to be replaced and with out hesitation I will use Alaskan again. I felt my needs and satisfaction were important to Alaskan.

I called Alaskan when my air conditioner stopped working. Carlos came out, checked system and found a problem with the secondary drain which caused a safety switch to engage and shut off unit so the water would not back up into the unit or flood my attic. He took care of the problem and reset the safety switch and the system is working again!Kudos to Carlos!! He is professional, used a mask and shoe covering in my home. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. He was very curt IOU’s and polite and explained everything in easy to understand terms. I had Alaskan Plumbing and AC clean the air vents in my home. The crew was very professional and were careful to keep the area clean. They pulled all the dust out of my vents. When they were gone, I noticed the air smelled cleaner. I would use them again.

Only took one day in order to get a technician to my house after I called, and it wasnt an emergency. Angelica was my technician and she was AWESOME! She was extremely detailed and thorough with her review of my air conditioning system and even cleaned up some wire issues, just because she is THAT professional. My heater went out the day after Christmas in 2019. Since buying my house in 2011 I have had nothing but problems with my AC/Heater unit. I have called and worked with so many different companies in town and after going through calling someone out to look at my unit approximately 2 times a year for 8 years I came to expect a level of service that caused me headache and stress. Until I called Alaskan, their service was undeniably the absolute best service I have ever encountered. They were responsive, on time, made me feel important and they have a level of professionalism that should be the standard. We had to get a new unit and all new duct work installed (which we knew we needed but never trusted any of the companies we had out enough to trust them with such a big job). Their pricing was right, the process was smooth and the new unit works flawlessly.I have always felt that AC companies were just salesmen trying to earn their commission and not really caring about my situation. Alaskan changed my view on all of that and constantly checked on me and informed me of how the process would work. After being burned by so many other companies I waited almost 4 months to write this review just to be absolutely SURE that everything was in working order, the whole it’s almost too good to be true thing so I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Well, it didn’t. It’s still hasn’t and at this point I am confident it never will.Alaskan is rare find in this city. I HIGHLY recommend that you call them for ALL of your needs. Like I said, I have worked with NUMEROUS companies around town and Alaskan is without a doubt 5 stars and the best company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a water heater through Lowes after my water heater went out in March. Alaskan came out the next day and were very professional, courteous and worked quickly so I wouldnt be displaced any longer than necessary. Im thankful that Alaskan is more centered on helping their customer, rather than price gouging their customers (like Goettel) I will definitely use their services again.

I bought a TRANE AC UNIT in 2017. It runs perfectly; and I wanted to keep it that way. Marcel came and did the AC UNIT inspection and did an excellent job checking all aspects of the AC UNIT. I was impressed with Marcels level of expertise in the way he went about conducting the inspection. By Marcels precision in doing the inspection; I could tell he was a TOP OF THE LINE AC UNIT TECHNICIAN. Marcel left with my AC UNIT operating as efficiently as before he came; which is all that I expected.

This is the 2nd time we’ve had an install from Alaskan (we have 2 units). Our 1st unit went out about 3 years ago and then our other unit yesterday. I think it speaks volumes that we’ve had them install twice. Their techs are professional, respectful & do amazing work. They showed up when they said they would and didn’t leave a mess behind. I seriously wouldn’t use anyone else!

OMG - what a horrible experience! We hired this company to service our commercial swamp coolers. In the spring, they were a no-call no-show. Finally sent someone a couple of days later who proceeded to do more work than agreed upon (without getting approval). Of course, we received a bill for that and numerous calls for months later asking when we were going to pay for it (their office is a mess and when I shared that Id already spoken to someone, they sounded surprised as they dont keep good records). Then when they came to do the fall service, they sent 2 people, a tweaker and a guy who spoke no English. Those guys did the job wrong. We will never use this company again. Sheesh!!

Amazing service! We knew it was time to replace our AC unit when it broke down for the third summer in a row. I called early in the morning and Marcel came to our aid that very same day. He made the purchase and installation process quick and easy. Marcel and his team Joe Bob, and Armando took care of everything the same day. They made sure to wear their masks and shoe covers and they took the time to cover their work area with plastic. First of all they charge you a starting fee. Because of that you would expect their prices for parts to be, well, maybe not reasonable but at least not astronomical. But they do not just double the price, they add a zero also. They charged me $260 for a capacitor that costs $10. I actually bought the same capacitor for $10 incl shipping as a reminder to myself not to hire Alaskan again. Then they wanted about $800 to fix an air clogged water heater line, venting it is less than 10 minutes or labor. I will fix it myself instead, not because I enjoy having to be self sufficient, but because of the way the Las Vegas market currently is, you have to.

The people are great the in home visit was not high pressure.I ended up going with a new fan and a service was included.I will be replacing my air/heater unit in the next few months and will be using Alaskan for it.

These guys were awesome! They showed up on time, covered all of my floors with plastic so there was no mess, they were polite and totally professional. AND they were fairly priced!Im editing this, because it is coming into the summer and Im realizing how much this system is saving me in electricity. When the salesman came to do the bid, he took a lot of time explaining the system I had and the other levels of AC systems (how and when they turn on/cycle). Based on this info I decided to go one level up from what I had with not that big of a price difference. Compared to last June and July, it looks as though Im saving about $60 a month on my electric bill.Thank you for taking the time to explain things to me in an easily understandable way.

Alaska Plumbing, Heating & Air had let a cat into our house while we were away. We presented the evidence in the form of doors being left open for 17 minutes at a time. It is worth noting they were the only people at our house while we were away. Chad had written inaccurately in response to a Yelp review that we said there were other contractors in our house so it could have been them. Id like to think he didnt say this to lie on purpose but may have been mistaken. Either way, the evidence was not in dispute. Fortunately, Animal Control was able to remove the cat (alive) and the cost ended up being the cost of a $800 rug and the $350 fee from Servpro. Animal Control performed the service for free.I think what was most enraging was that Chad had suggested that he didnt know who I was and we were trying to take advantage of himFirst of all, this is what business insurance is for.Secondly, I own homes in six states and employ close to 10,000 people across my various companies. I didnt get to where I am trying to take advantage of local businesses with grand schemes and fictional tales of cats being let into my home so I could try to score a cool $350 and a new rug (although it really did tie the room together)This is about right and wrong and I will fight for what is right. After reading Chads misleading Yelp reply I have a renewed sense of duty to spread the word about my experience with this company

Overall very pleased with Alaskan!!! Above and beyond!!! Jeff was the technician, he showed up professional and very nice. He had the water heater that I purchased from a big box store. And of course no blame to Alaskan, I ordered a different unit than the one I needed. My water heater was very unique and very scarce. Jeff was very quick with a solution. He got on the phone, found the unit and gave me a great quote, I knew it was a good estimate because I had already had other companies come out with offers. Jeff came back first thing in the morning with the correct unit. He had it installed, with running hot water, in just a little over 2 hours!!! I said it before, Ill say it again! Above and beyond!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. Last night my AC went out at 9:30pm. I called Alaskan and Lorenzo was at my house within 40 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had our system back working in 15 minutes. He was professional, courteous and thorough. I would definitely use Alaskan again and will request for Lorenzo.

I Have been looking for the HVAC company to replace my old and damaged air ducts. I had one estimate from one of companies. But I wanted a few more estimates. Somehow I found Alaskan company. I was blessed to meet supervisor Chad. He was sincere, honest, pleasant and very intelligent young man Who spent his time to explain about HVAC system and even checked my new air conditioning and heater to make sure they were installed well.Make a Long long story to shorter, his estimate was very good and I got an appointment for air duct installation right next day. But I wasn’t comfortable to accept the agreement because warranty on materials wasn’t clear. So sadly, I cancelled the appointment on the same night.Chad called me next morning after he made some phone calls to supplier to get the warranty information for me.He even drove to my house to show me the email from supplier’s supervisor.Actually I got the BEST material and labor warranty after I went through frustration, disappointment and doubt on Chad.I have never met anyone who was willing to go extra miles to help client to get the best warranty and satisfaction. He even saved a spot for my installation right next day with the BEST team of two installers.Armando and Alex were a great team to work together. They were very pleasant, hard workers and professional. They worked all day until 8 pm. They looked exhausted but they were still pleasant and smiling instead of being grouchy.They even picked up my filter from their shop when they went to pick up supplies. And replaced it with an old filter for me.They suctioned each air ducts outlets and floor. They covered with plastic wherever needed it.Especially Armando was very thorough when he was suctioning each air duct outlets even though he was hungry and exhausted. He even took his time to look for one screw he saw earlier on my drive way. He had to turn on the flash light from his cell phone to find it. He didn’t want me to have a flat tires from it.And Alex seems to know exactly what he was doing with his skill. We had a crew of 3 guys come out to do our install yesterday. Jamie, Jason, and Tony we amazing. They were very clean and organized in all of their installs. All three guys were awesome in the way they worked together in tight spaces and always had a smile on. Their attention to detail and personalities made this install enjoyable and stress free.. The technician, Matt R., arrived on time and politely introduced himself and asked what my concerns were and how long I expected to be in the home. He then looked at the thermostats and set them back to go on and run so he could test output (cooling issue front unit) and how cold air at the register and return were. Next he said he had to go up on the roof and do an inspection and would report to me what he found out. Front unit had to have a little Freon but the back or rear unit was fine. He then performed what he called an annual A/C cooling maintenance inspection that included washing out the coils on each unit and checking all critical functions and parts. Then he topped off the front unit with Freon and completed his work and visited with me again about what he did and some “what to be aware of issues”. Further, he recommended that I buy their annual inspection service and explained what was covered in detail and that I would save 20% on parts and up to 1lb. of free Freon. The bill came to less than I was expecting! Matt did an outstanding job and represented the company in an excellent fashion!! Would not hesitate to recommend him and Alaskan Air to anyone. I have been in Las Vegas 40 year’s best A/C service I have ever received! Utilize their service with confidence!! Thanks Matt and Alaskan Heating and Air Conditioning👍

Marcel is an amazing, honest, expert technician, working long hours around the clock to ensure everyones emergency A/C needs are met.I tried to work with my home warranty to get a tech out to repair my air conditioning unit when it failed a home inspection for a sale. Not only was the contracted tech from the other company ripping me off with more refrigerant than the system is capable of holding, but nothing was actually getting repaired. Multiple visits were required and everyone lost trust. I called back to Alaskan with my urgent request, and Marcel came back out that night to check on my unit, verify repairs, and give everyone assurance that my home was ready for the sale to proceed. I wish i had simply gone with Marcel from the beginning and never wasted time with my home warranty.Alaskan will service your appliances and systems with expert techs, who are friendly, motivated, honest, and willing to help despite the Vegas heat and long days. Alex and Tony P. cleaned our a/c ducts and also our dryer vent. They explained everything on what they were going to do. They were professionals with a good and positive attitude. They did an outstanding job. When the job was completed they showed us what they did and also asked if we had any questions.

I had a Sunday night emergency where my outside faucet broke off (in the stucco wall) I had to turn off the water at the street meter. I called Alaskan and was told one of their Techs was nearby and would be there shortly. Sure enough Tony Sanchez shows up, gave me a couple options and he replaced the faucet in about 1 hr. Replaced two water heaters one electric one gas, drained water from old heater and hauled away.

Our ac was not working and temp was supposed to hit 110 this week in Vegas. Angelique showed up on time the same day I called Alaska. After asking some investigative questions, she inspected the system. She located the issue, made a quick minor repair, and voila ac was cranking out cool air. The only thing we would request differently next time is that she not light up a celebratory cigar in our living room once the job is complete....ok ok she did not really light up a cigar but she did get ac working. Thanks Alaska.

Absolutely the best service we have ever received. We have used them for plumbing and a/c. Best company we have worked with.

After 3 weeks of being out of service, while trying to establish if my quote was the best possible price available. Alaskan did reduce my quote slightly. Still I know Im being overcharged by double. Research all part numbers on your own with a quick Google search. Then ask how many labor hours that part is expected to install. Make your own decisions based on what is best for your household. My decision is to break a 20yr relationship with Alaskan and share my experience with you. Were not looking for the cheapest parts or service. We just want to ensure we are not being RIPPED OFF! If a part from a dealer direct source costs $68, its not fair to charge $380 and say that a warranty, labor and service meets the difference in price.

I have to say that Alaskan took the stress out of making a large investment for our home so much easier. We knew we needed a new unit. And we made the right choice. Joseph Moss made this process so worth it. He was knowledgeable and professional, he answered all our questions. I will refer Alaskan to family and friends as well as Joseph and the installation men! This afternoon Jeff & Tim replaced my kitchen sink and of course the sink we purchased did not fit. When my husband called the company who sold us the sink, Jeff got on the phone and described to the sales associate what we needed. Luckily the company we purchased the sink from was less than a mile away and Jeff & Tim stayed while my husband made the exchanged. While they waited Jeff & Tim were not idle. They took my old sink apart (faucets, RO spicket), and removed the silicone seal on my counter top.

I have to tell you all about my experience with Alaskan. My main company has an office with large A/C units on top. They have handled all of them like champs, so what I did then was this. I am a property manager with 13 properties (homes) that I have another company doing all this for me. So beings that I have noticed my last company basically slacking bad, I change out them for Alaskan Heat & Air. I LOVE THEM!!! My favorite person so far is Matthew, likes being called Matt (because that was the name he left on my message) who has always been very prompt and professional. I also had another gentleman who was very nice and professional as well, I just prefer Matt. This company does everything right from calling ahead (I request a 30 minute) to let you know hes on his way. To showing you how to change out your air filters if needed in between visits. He also makes sure you have no doubts about anything or have any questions not asked or not answered to your satisfaction. They do not try to find something to replace if there isnt anything needed. Love Them!! Merry Christmas to me.

We have Alaskan maintenance service for our Air Condition units for a few years now. We have no problems since. The units are kept in a great shape. Their customer service and technical support are wonderful. Highly recommended!

Everything about my service call was great. Technician was fast to respond and knowledgeable. They lose one star on cost. Over $600 to replace a blower motor and capacitor. $400 for a $75-$100 motor seems a bit much to me. Especially since they probably get the motors even cheaper then the public can.

Robert showed up for our scheduled appointment on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining the options available to replace my old air conditioner. We settled on the best unit for my house and scheduled an installation time. His installation team showed up on time, and had removed and replaced the air conditioner in two hours time. I was very pleased with with Alaskan Heating and Air and highly recommend them.
