They did a great job on my manicure and polish change on my toes. The facilities were very clean. There was a small smudge on my finger after the top coat was placed and they noticed it and fixed it prior to me leaving. I appreciate their attention to detail! Thank you for your excellent service.

Took my wife in for her Birthday, after becoming increasingly frustrated looking for a place able to take walk in appointments. We went in were greeted immediately and told they would be with us shortly. We didnt even sit down in the lobby before they had it set up for the appointment. Everyone was friendly and took great care in comfort and satisfaction.

Came in hoping to get new nails for summer and my nails were not even, no apex on any of the nails (just completely flat), and definitely felt like they rushed through my nails and didn’t even bother applying a second coat to the french tips i asked for so it was extremely translucent, didn’t apply the acrylic close enough to my cuticle so they already look grown out, left me with very dry and messy cuticles, and on top of all that, had to pay 75 dollars for mediocre nails i probably could have done better at home on my own.

I love Love this place. All the staffs are very friendly. They give the best pedicure. Nails always look gorgeous and professional. The staffs are very patient and nice. Great place for relaxing and pampering.

WONDERFUL! Absolutely loved the atmosphere, and they’re very welcoming. I decided to get a flame set done and I had two wonderful ladies work on my nails and they turned out exactly how I wanted them too. They work so hard and you can tell they have pride in what they do. I’m a cosmetologist and it was amazing to see them execute everything I was expecting and even more. Beautiful little place, very clean, professional, and also I appreciate this place so much because this was my first time coming here and unfortunately I had bitten nails and they were sensitive, so both nail technicians noticed this and with no hesitation worked to be extra careful and gentle around my nails. It’s very friendly & genuine environment. You get what you pay for! Every penny was worth it!! Highly recommend to anyone.

The place it clean. The decor is nice and bright. I didnt give 5 stars because the nail tech did not put enough top coat near the cuticle and sides of my fingernails on multiple fingers during my manicure. And my polish chipped off in a few spots as a result within 2 days. But my pedicure was great! Staff was polite.

I always feel welcomed in a clean environment and am always amazed by their work! Every time I get my nails done here I noticed that they take pride in their services and always make sure I leave with exactly what I would like. They take their time and never rush their work. I leave there with great confidence knowing that I received great services for a great price. I would most definitely recommend this facility for any one of my friends and family members!

I received the Luxury Pedicure and I highly recommend it! I have been searching for a pedicure service that included everything, especially the paraffin wax. I am very picky when it comes to pedicures and this was the best pedicure I ever had. The environment was very calm and relaxing. The salon is very clean, the techs are friendly and pay close attention to detail. If I could go once a week, I would!

I made my appointment for 1 pm. I was there 10 minutes early. 1pm came and 3 people walked in. As of 1:30 I was still sitting there and the other three were getting their nails done. I stood up to say I couldn’t wait to much longer, the girl was more worried I had moved my mask down a little then the fact I had been sitting there while others were being serviced. So I just walked out. I understand being behind, but when I walked in only 1 of the 3 were working.

I have tried most of nail salons around and this is the place i have found that make me happy everytime i’m here. Tracey is my girl and she is fabulous. She is willing to do any designs i show her and take her time with everything she does. Other staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The place is very clean and they follow all the restrictions to keep everyone safe. I’m highly recommended this place.

This is my HOLY GRAIL nail place! And Tracey is my HOLY GRAIL nail tech! If shes not there, I see Martin. When I tell you I had searched for literal years for the best nail tech because I am sooooo picky about my nails, Im not exaggerating. It took me years to find Tracey, and Im so glad I did. Her work never disappoints me! My nails are always shaped perfectly and never look bulky, I always leave with sleek, slender, classy looking nails. And so far, every nail idea Ive gotten off of the internet and brought to her, she has executed perfectly!! Im always getting compliments on my nails and Im always referring people to this nail salon! Its the best in the Lansing area, in my opinion! :)

Very welcoming but very unsatisfied with my nails. Every single nail is a different shape, my acrylic is extra thick, two of my nails are crooked, and my shellac nail polish is lumpy. When I addressed the issue I got a lot of attitude, as if it’s not their job to get it right the first time. I got charged way too much to be dissatisfied. The guy would tell the lady everything I said and she would be rude about it (probably hormones bc she was pregnant) but that gives no excuse when your in customer service! Oh, not to mention my cuticles are all types of scraped up smh and to think these were my birthday nails.

This was my first time there and I got a pedicure a few days ago, I love the polish work however my feet are not smooth, they are still rough especially the heels. Usually whenever I get a pedicure the person would make sure that the bottom of my feet and the heels were nice and soft. But for the work completed at this location I still have the calluses and it feel and look like nothing was done to remove them so I’m disappointed at that. I did appreciate one lady coming over to see how everything was and for explaining their services. I will go back to see how their other services are, and I’m hoping that they do good. I would suggest to them that they do a better job removing the calluses as this is a very important part of a pedicure.

I went with a friend of mine to get my nails done. I did a gel full set based of pricing and the 5 dollar up charge for gel instead of acrylic I was expecting my total to be 38-40 my total was 62 dollars and I was only made known of one up charge. Never will be going to this salon again.

Excellent!! My husband and I went to get our nails done for our elopement during COVID season; they were able to schedule us a last minute appointment, and they had really great safety and cleanliness measures in place. They checked our temperature, were super proactive about washing their and our hands (their trash and paper towels were automated/no contact!), and had their stations that were spaced out with full shield guards. My manicurist was so thorough and made my horribly hangnailed brittle nails look like a hand models! She was very kind and gentle. We’re not from Lansing — just visiting, but I’d highly recommend this place for anyone who wants great service, and a great manicure for a great price. To the owners — thank you so much!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Called and made an appointment only to be met with disrespect once there and was helped AN HOUR later after only being told to wait “a few minutes” and watched my friend get her nails done for basically an hour before I was helped and was ignored when I tried to explain it was 50 minutes past my initial appointment time and was treated rudely, what’s the point of making an appointment if you won’t be helped on time??? DO NOT GO HERE they’re good at first but never consistent, Tracey is the only decent technician here and even then she’s rude and rushes people and it’s clear they take appointments at any time to try and get the most people in as possible even though they don’t have the time. I once experienced 5 people all come in with an appointment at 5 with only two available technicians... Anyways after I was helped 50 minutes past my initial appointment time (shouldn’t have even waited) Tracey started on my nails and was passive aggressive with attitude because of how they serviced ME and inconvenienced ME and themselves in that process and ended up switching with another nail tech halfway through because she wanted to be done. Martin finished my nails and rushed the whole time due to the close time that he wouldn’t have even been worried about if they helped me on time. On top of that he did a bad rushed job with bumpy shellac nails. I’ve also noticed for months how much they OVER CHARGE people here with little to no explanation of what items you’re charged for it’s incredibly ridiculous and should be questioned by everybody, I tired to give this place the benefit of the doubt but it’s a sneaky business. They respond to all reviews the same and act like they’ve never given bad service and that’s a lie all the bad reviews reflect nothing but the truth of how this business is run, DONT GO HERE!

I visited X-Cel with my friend, she got a shellac nails and pedicure, they also offer gel acrylic and waxing and a wide variety of nail colors, the decor is beautifully decorated and the business is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, my friend left very satisfied and happy, she plans to returning soon. 😊

Horrible experience! I arrived an hour before closing and you could tell all they were doing was looking at the clock. I told the guy who was working on my nails that one of the glued nails was crooked and he laughed and said it wasnt the final look. It was still crooked when it was all complete. I asked for some glitter details and they didnt event know how to apply the stuff! She had to redo it 3 times and the final product was HORRIBLE. I am never going back.

Pros: Atmosphere and friendliness are great! First few visits I was happy with my nails and recommended this salon to many of my friends.Cons: Had to go back twice in 5 days to fix my dip. Nails were lumpy, I did not want the gentleman who originally did them to fix them, but was made to feel like he was my only choice. He redid 3 nails, they are better but still lumpy. Then had a nail chip, I thought I was lucky to have someone else fix it, but she just filed it off and redipped it. This left that nail with speckled appearance. I won’t be back.

Place is alright, I’ve gone a few times but I kept getting bounced around from person to person in the middle of my appointment. Also I showed her a few designs and the first she said she couldn’t do and the second she said she could but then when it came time to it she said she couldn’t and it didn’t look anything like the picture. I’m not usually that picky but I will not be back

Very neat and clean. The massaging pedicure chairs are bomb! Basic pedicure is $25 the fanciest one is $37. The lady l got was thorough but didnt do the best job removing callouses (in all fairness, I do have caveman feet). The ladies are nice and speak pretty good English (no shade, just a fact). It appeared that they run a sanitary business. There are magazines and a bowl of candy out front. A couple of big tvs mounted high. They also do facials, kiddie mani pedis, and waxing too. Will definitely be back.

So Rude! Got a shellac and went on vacation. Two days later they all were peeling off! Upon my return I called to let them know and to come back in bc obviously something went wrong-they treated me VERY rudely. Dont go there...KELLY was her name
