Not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. It was so disgusting I walked out before letting them touch my feet. Definitely afraid of getting an infection. They were serving a woman with an obvious foot disease and putting the file and tools back in the drawer without cleaning them at all. When they started using a cheese grater looking callous remover on the diseased foot I almost vomited. Left ASAP. Someone else said they got athletes foot after going here and I absolutely believe it. Beware!!

Toes are holding up for weeks while the manicure chips after a few days. All I did is dishes, typing, and showering normal stuff. The DND shellac polish is not long lasting. Im convinced that it sucks. No good. The nail techs are polite and helpful. They will do for you right now.

Tina did my manicure. Its shellac. This time was better. The last time my nails started chipping on day 2 but my pedicure is holding up. Ill see what happens this time.

I was using two different colors and they didn’t match so I wanted to pick a different color She got mad and wouldn’t give me time to look for a different color. So I just went with tips. She was so mad and charged me 43.00. The price is 35.00. I still gave her a tip and she wouldn’t even look up and say thank you.

Ive had my nails done many times at other places, and have NEVER had an experience like this!! I came in to get a fill on a full set- first, after being assured they could do the design I wanted, it became apparent that it would not be what I wanted, and ultimately had to settle for something very basic and not what I really wanted, due to feeling rushed. The fill was very rushed, filing was terrible, leaving the edges of my nails jagged. I asked for them to be fixed before I left the salon, and was again rushed through “fixing” them. I even went back in after walking out, when I noticed the nails really were not satisfactory- with still no improvement. After settling for subpar nails, I was charged $91 for a basic pedicure and fill. In the last THREE days since getting the fill on my nails, I have had THREE of my nails break off while doing very mundane tasks that should NOT have broken my nails. I had one nail fixed after the initial fill, and that new one even broke off. I can honestly say I will never return to this nail salon, nor recommend it.

I would say this was the worst pedicure I ever had. For one, the business is not very clean. They didnt take our temperatures until after they let us in. The restroom is also a storage closet full of supplies, and it was very dirty. The pedicure was rushed. They did not cut my nails evenly and rushed through filing them. After giving me the warm towel, they put A LOT of lotion on my legs and did not rub it in at all, and just left it there at the end of the pedicure. I had to wash it off. The bottom of my feet were also covered in lotion when they put my shoes on. Through the whole time we were there, they tried to convince us to spend more money on fancier pedicures and shellac nails, even after we said we didnt want to. I will not be returning.

Ive been to many nail salons and none of them measure up to Nancys nails. Attention to detail and service was spot on.

I was a frequent customer to Nancys Nails until I got athletes foot shortly after a pedicure. I contacted them on facebook to let them know, and decided not to leave a public review out of respect. They offered me a 20% discount, but I did not plan on going back after that. After unsuccessfully trying to find another salon, I decided to give them another chance. The woman who did my feet did great, but as I was checking out and mentioned the discount that was offered to me, the manager was defensive and I felt like she was trying to argue with me about how I got athletes foot. I did not want to discuss it, I just wanted to pay and leave— but she continued prying and saying that I mustve got it from my shoes. Athletes foot doesnt come from dirty shoes. It comes from other people who have it. There is no way I got it from any other place since I stay home and have my own personal shower. I was willing to let this go, but after feeling slightly insulted I felt like writing this review about my experience.Advice to management: the customer is always right

I went for a full set of acrylics with colored tips. The board said 35. AFTER they started, he said it would be 50 and asked if that was okay. Not only that, my nails look rough and theres a visible brush hair in one of them.

The pricing was extremely deceiving and expensive!! Their pricing board they had in the salon says one thing and then they would tell us something completely different! I got a set of acrylic nails for 45$ (one color and no designs) and I was extremely confused because the board said acrylics were only 20$! The nails did turn out very nice but I think they were overpriced.

Myle did my full set, she always does my nails just how I ask her to. Also she is the BEST at eye brows! I come here every time! :)

I got a full set. My nails are a bit bumpy in a couple spots and they are kind of uneven. It was also rushed. Overall, my nails are pretty cute and they were nice there. I just give it three stars because they are bumpy and uneven thumbs, the design was also good but messy in some spots. There was also some paint left on my nail and some glue got on my fingers as well.

The staff is great very friendly atmosphere but the down side are the prices my daughter and I went for a nail fill they charge me 70 bucks which is the same price for a gel set which they have a price change on paper for additional 5 bucks for a fill origional price 20 so it should of been 25 bucks and they are the only place I know that will still charge you even if you bring in your own nail polish instead of using theirs I find their prices misleading not to mention my daughters nail polish is literally coming off her nail I find it a waste of money to think about coming back to this place

My experience here is mixed as my nails they look great the care of my hands while filing was not the best and I got a little burns. My daughter was taken very well care of which I’m grateful for, and the lotion and hand massage were not given to me but my daughters nail tech gave to me before I walked out.They will do in a pinch I guess but I will drive the hour and a half to go to my nail supply and that does wax treatment as well as hand massage and my nails are always straight. It’s sad that they didn’t treat us better as we always spend so much money in Our nail salon

I got a full set done. My nails are uneven and badly painted. I had the guy, dont know if the women are better. He always got a lot of glue on my skin and it is very sore now. I will never return here.

This was a amazing experience at first, but once me and my sister had gone there it’s like they took advantage of us. They treated us poorly and saying they will give us what they wanted to give us, at first we refused asking for acrylics but they kept going on and saying that the gel would be better. I payed twice as much with my money, and I didn’t have enough so my mom had to pay them an extra 15 dollars. This was a very bad experience and we don’t come to that salon anymore. I just wish they would’ve listened to our words and hadn’t thought it was funny to take advantage of a little girl and a teenager. The nails all though looked very nice but my sister didn’t even get the correct color, she got a navy blue instead of black and I got a blue white sparkle instead of a light blue black sparkle. My mother was very upset with how they treated us and wanted to slap them but also didn’t want to cause a sene

Idk where the good reviews have come from. Maybe the place has a couple good technicians and the lucky ones got them. But my mom saw one, a few nails crooked which I pointed out, she “fixed” them and still crooked and uneven, so I fixed them at home. Then I saw the guy there after her and all my nails were crooked and uneven. Pointed them out, he “fixed” them, I didn’t realize how bad they still were until looking at them more at home. Now usually I’d walk out halfway through but my wedding was the next day and knew I could fix them myself at least at home. And the paint job the guy gave me? Total joke, looked terrible. My toddler could’ve done better. Definitely won’t go again or spend money there again.

It wasnt the greatest experience however my nails were done great the guy that worked on my nail was extremely professional and nice but the ladies are not so nice I normally pay 45 theyre up there payment to 50 for powder dipped replacement nails all I need it was a refill yet I was charged 50 bucksat the end of my visit nails were complete I asked how much it is to do this again he told me 45 I absolutely be my last time I will not go back my overall experience interaction with the ladies was terrible she was loud yelling its 50 bucks is 50 bucks then I next thing I know a guy can run into the door its just not a great experience it was embarrassing to have someone yelling 50 bucks then they begin to talk and Converse back and forth yelling screaming for someone to come to the door to talk to me its just really embarrassing

I sat for 20 minutes only to have 2 customers get there nails done before me. I left and went to the other nail shop and was told that I would have to wait 1hour, at that time I phoned Nancy Nails and voiced my displeasure. I appreciated the professionalism displayed at the other shop and I had time to shop, my service was a pleasurable experience and I have a new nail salon.

The people who run the salon and do the nails are very nice. However, there is always something wrong with my pedicure- thin areas of polish, peeling off quickly, missing polish on parts of the nail, and similar issues. One of the guys who does the nails has extremely long and dirty nails that dig in whenever he grabs a finger or a toe. I keep giving them chances, and they keep wasting them. I won’t go back or recommend them.

At first it was nice then I sat in the chair for like 30 minutes waiting for someone to help me and Some workers were just sitting around not helping any one then more ppl come in and the workers start arguing and yelling at other customers and then I finally got sat down with a worker and the man was super shaky and kept cutting my finger open there was blood all on my nail and he didn’t even care or ask me if I was ok and they but the design one way on my ring finger and a different way on my other finger and the guy kept trowing stuff and the nails kept popping off I have had this guy the past few times and I don’t like him at all

During my visit to Lansing city on business. I had stopped by Nancy Nail in Lansing mall to get a pedicure. I was very please by the experience “manicurist” to assist me and done a very good service. I will return again to Nancy nail while on business in very near future.Thx.

Went into the salon to get a fix and I was told it would be $5 due to me having shellac. I told the man that’s fine and was told to sit down at a booth. When the lady came to me she told me that she would not charge since I haven’t had them done for three days. She became rude and tugging at my hands while doing my nail. Then proceeded to take a photo of my hand. Never had this happen before. She was very rude when she finished as she said “Wash your hands and go!” This was the last sraw with this place. As last week one of the lady’s slammed my debit card down as I was trying to pay for my eyebrows. I will not be spending anymore money at Nancy’s. I am fed up with the rude treatment. Will not be returning. My last fill was done by a man that put way too much polish on and the finished nails had dry clumps of polish on them. Also my nails are chipping off and they have not been done for even a week yet.

I was a walk in patient so maybe I could have gone to someone with more experience if i called ahead, but i left with nails I wanted to go home and take off. I paid $40 and i was not satisfied. I got shellac color on top of acrylic and when i left some of my nails were clumped and looked really bad.

The fact that this place is rated so high blows my mind. I came here with a friend to get my nails done, literally just a simple manicure, and when i left my nails looked awful. They looked like they had been painted by a five year old and the woman doing my nails looked lost the whole time. I dont know if she was new (I want to say her name was Diamond or something?) but I was not impressed. Her station was also filthy and unkept which freaks me out because I am alllll about sanitation when it comes to nail places. Its been a bit since Ive been here but google asked me to write a review of this place so I am. I have been getting my friend who goes here to come to my nail salon because she keeps wanting to get our nails done together but I am too horrified to go back here.
