It was okay, not the best customer service and they overcharged me for my 8 year old niece that was with me (as I was leaving I checked the prices and kids prices are less than adults - we were both charged $25. I didn’t go back to correct it though as we didn’t have time and I get embarrassed doing that type of thing). Our nails look good though! My nieces’ nail tech seemed great with kids and was very gentle.

I have gone here for years and the staff knows me and my family. They are all friendly and do wonderful work. I love the salon especially the chairs for the pedicure.

Kind staff. We had scheduled 4 Pedis and 3 of 4 were great. The gentleman who did mine was a little rough but not terrible. The three ladies did a fantastic job and were very kind and all were accommodating.Will go back.

Overall pleased but my Pedicure couldve been more professional looking.

Staff was very nice and I didnt have to wait too long once there. I did get cut once by a tool going too deep into my cuticle during my pedicure so that part sucked, but everything else was nice.

⚠⚠GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!⚠⚠ Quality is below average. They charge extra for EVERYTHING!! Things normal nail salons wouldnt. They LIED & said they were using POWDERED GEL on my daughter, I didnt say anything at the time because Im thinking maybe its something new. After leaving & researching there is NO SUCH THING!!! They LIED, used ACRYLIC & charged me for GEL NAILS!!!My Acrylic on my nails is lumpy & not smoothed out. Just pathetic! Customer service is good, but nail services are a joke. I wouldnt allow them to do my dogs nails!! Dont waste your time!!

Love the atmosphere and the owners & people that work there are very nice. Ive only been there twice so far but Ill definitely be going there more often. The newer tech, Kelly, saved my nails and did a beautiful job on a gel fill. Highly recommend.

I have been to this place twice. The first time was wonderful!! I loved the person that who did my nails (don’t know her name), she was younger, spoke really good English, she made my nails look AMAZING! The second time around, I got Charlie (had I known the girls name, I would have requested for her but I didn’t know her name :( ) .. he was really nice, and I wished I would’ve said something while I was there, but I felt like he was rushing... he also made me bleed while cutting cuticles, didn’t apologize, or made it aware to me that my finger was bleeding.. I only found out because while he sprayed alcohol on it, it was stinging! My polish was awful! Not smooth at all, the top coat didn’t even cover the polished parts... & I tipped him well (had to pay before polish, had I seen the polish after I would t have tipped as much as I did) .. very dissatisfying second experience, I will not be returning.

Polished Nail is the only place l will get my nails done at! They are very friendly, clean and follow all safety procedures. They go above and beyond to meet your expectations.

My nail tech was so sweet, I believe her name is Tina. I felt bad, as I know my hands are rough and peeling. She gave me some advice to help deal with the dry corners of my nails. I like the very natural look (no fake nails).

Just moved to Michigan and decided to try this place out as it has great reviews! I was not disappointed! I walked in on a Wednesday after the lunch hour for a mani gel and did not have to wait at all. The technicians were very nice and made sure my nails were to my liking. They turned out great and it was a cheaper price then I was used too. Recommend this business!

Its okay. My friends and I have been here a few times, one loved it, one didnt care for it. I personally like the pedicures, but I recently got a set of square acrylics and they are thick and bulky and dont look natural at all. Definitely not worth the thirty bucks and I hated them since I got them. I want them taken off but dont want to pay the $15 plus tip to have them removed.

Recommended to come here by a friend. Fantastic experience compared to any other salon Ive tried. Amazing how naive I was to other manicures Ive paid for elsewhere. THIS was a manicure. If youre looking for a fancy salon with ambience and aromatherapy, this isnt the place for you. If you want a great pedicure for less than $30, Polished is a hidden gem. The small strip mall that Polished sits in is a little run down and might turn a newcomer off but Ive visited this salon twice and both times the experience did not disappoint.They offer at least 5 or 6 pedicure stations with adjustable massage chairs and multiple options on the controls. The pedicure each time took about 20 minutes and included a foot and leg scrub, hot rock massage, lotion and a warm towel wrap, in addition to the standard pedicure. I always received two coats of color and a top coat. The polish lasts weeks!The staff are friendly and engaging if you wish to chat and Ive never had to wait for my appointment.

Not accommodating . We Called to set an appointment for a full set . employee stated they accepted walk ins but wouldn’t have time to do a full set because it was an 1 & 1/2 hour job (with 5 hours left until close) and said to come in the following week . Poor unprofessional service from staff.

Nicest staff I’ve seen in a nail salon. Top notch, safe pedicures!! That’s always something that I get nervous about when going to a new place since I’m a cosmetologist and I know that most nail salons aren’t necessarily too worried about how legal their practices are. However I did not see a single thing here that would cause worry!! Definitely coming back again!

I went here when I was 34 weeks pregnant and in need of a pedicure (since I couldnt reach my toes anymore!). The family at Polished took great care of me and made my me time special with their kind nature. Pedicure was done well and lasted for several weeks. Happy with this hidden treasure!

Ive been going to this salon for years because its the best one in the area. They have decent prices l, that do a good job but most importantly everything is clean and I dont feel worried about the sanitation of everything like a do in some other places.

My dip nails lasted one week. It started chipping about four days in then completely fell off. You get maybe a five minute massage for pedicures. Overall unpleasant and waste of my money. Go elsewhere

I am in Lansing for several weeks watching our six month old grand-daughter. I googled and read reviews as I do with everything! I could not have been happier with the way I was treated and how lovely my mani/pedi looks! The pedicure was wonderful, along with foot, leg scrub, legs hot rock massaged, followed with warm towel wrap! I like Polished Nails better than my salon at home that I have frequented for 20+ years! Asked for gel nails instead of acrylic, they used acrylic powder anyway labeled “Gel” on the front . I’ve been getting my nails done for years and I know the difference between acrylic and gel. Not to mention I paid extra for the “gel set”. Was charged $3 extra for a polish that was supposed to come with my nail set anyway. Customer service was alright but my experience was a rip off to say the least.

People really nice. But won’t go back because I was cut when guy was doing cuticles now finger is swelling .

Three people in my family had manicures at this salon today. Two manicures turned out very well while the third left the customer very dissatisfied. She complains that the manicurist filed her nails way too short and she does not like the finish on the nail polish. Also the manicurist was rough in dealing with her cuticles and they bled. She brought this to the attention of management but management defended the salon’s work and offered no help to her.

This place is great! It is best to have an appointment as they are very busy and will be honest about the wait time and appointment availability (which is greatly appreciated). This place is family owned and they are the nicest group of people and always take their time and the manis and Pedis last!

Omgoodness is this place great! Ive been here 3 times for pedicures and have had a great experience each time. The staff are friendly, and tho it wouldnt affect quality, seem American or speak English well so I can better converse with them while they worked. The young lady who worked on me the second time is a MSU student and athlete who is working on her medical degree. She was extremely friendly, funny, thorough and helped me relax thru the process as my feet are ticklish. They use hot stones to massage the lotion into your calves and then place hot towels. It was all clean and sanitized and I was comfortable knowing I wouldnt be at risk for diseases. Ive found my new favorite salon!!

This used to be a favorite place of mine for pedicures and Shellac manis. However recently, when going in for an appointment, Ive had to sit for 30 minutes or so... and that was with an appointment I made days prior! Im not sure what the issue is, and whether they get walk ins they dont turn away, but when I make an appointment, Id like to know I can get in at that time.

These guys and gals are the best. They are very good at what they do - I wont go anywhere else!

This was the worst pedicure that I’ve ever received.If I could have given a negative star - I would have.I had called in the morning when they had opened and set an appointment for 1 pm that day. I had heard through work that they used an electric foot file. I was excited about that and wanted to see if that would make a difference... so I decided to try them.I arrived a little before 1 pm. I always bring my own polish because of possible cross contamination from some other previous client.I was set up to sit in a massage chair. (Note: i was so looking forward to relaxing and receiving a competent pedicure experience ..I have worked for 6 weeks straight and wanted to finally pamper myself).The First problem I noticed was that she had only scrubbed one foot (the left foot) with the purple scrubbie and cleanser. (I thought she would come back to the right foot....she didn’t). I didn’t want to seem too picky ... so I did not say anything). When it came to applying polish - she only put one coat on and then I noticed that she was putting on the top coat. She then told me that I was done. I questioned her by saying ... “but you have only put on one coat and that’s not the true color of the polish “. As I pointed to my feet. She replied... “ oh I only did one coat?”.I said “yes ... it’s not the true color”.The technician (if she was even a nail technician- it seemed as though it was her first time).... then applied 2 nd coat and then the top coat again.Immediately she then removed the toe dividers and started to slip on my flip flops. (Trying to put the left flip flop on the right foot- until I told her that doesn’t go on that foot) I stretched out my toes—- we got the toes in and I thought she would put back on the toe dividers... she did not and then my toes went back to their natural positions. So immediately the two small toes on my left foot had been messed up. She grabbed my other shoe and I told her that these toes were messed up and needed to be redone. She tried to clean them up and then she must have saw a fuzz on the polish of the big toe. She tried to wipe it with her thumb... and then left a thumbprint on that nail. She tried to even out that polish with her finger and made it worse. I told her she’d have to redo that nail as well. She took off the polish to thebig toe-leaving the surrounding skin discolored with the red polish.(Meanwhile... the owner’s daughter-who is apparently in charge while parents are out of town -was told by the client she was working on ... “oh... she’s not happy”. The owner’s daughter made no attempt to come over and see what was going on; to question or rectify the situation; or even look over at the area)She put polish on again... shoves a tissue/toilet paper consistency type material between those toes. I asked ...”can’t we put the dividers back on?... because I can’t walk while trying to separate my toes.” She did not reply and did not put on dividers.We then attempted the right foot. Immediately I told her again that those toes need to be separated. She stuffed more tissue material between those toes.Then she indicated to move out of chair. I asked “can I sit here for a couple minutes to let them dry?”.She said nothing but indicated to move over to drying bar.I struggled walking over there... trying to keep toes separated. I sat at the drying bar chair... thinking she’d come over to turn it on. She did not! She first cleaned her whole station; finally brought over my polish - that I had brought in; and asked me if I could pay now? I hated giving my credit card to this female. She ran my card for $ 25.00I have NEVER not tipped a server/technician (and normally I tip well), but this was a horrible experience and I did not believe she deserved a tip.I am very disappointed that the owner’s daughter did not approach me, apologize for the situation and even offer to redo this pedicure herself or make an effort to even offer an apology for the situation. This is a poor business practice.I would not recommend this place.

I got gel nail polish i got a mani and a pedi French tips on pedi look good from afar but up close the white tips on a few toes do go all the way to the edge of my nail. The hot towel was a bit to hot and the water temp in foot spa was a bit to hot I got used to it tho. As for my nails he asked how long and what shape i said same length and my natural shape (Charlie the owner did all of my services) he then cut my nails down to about nothing so like a quarter inch now I have nubs and I was getting gel polish with tips and it didnt leave more than a hair line for my tips. And my polish isnt great he did 2 coats but still not fully covered with color he didnt apply it thick enough in spots so its barely there. And it went from $35 for a mani pedi to $70 for that. Everything else was good very nice and didnt hurt me. But ill probably not be back

Technician was very rough, she cut my finger twice with drill/filed nail bed to low burnt my finger😖Seemed like she was upset/rushing I asked her if it was time for her to go home becuz she kept making mistakes while she was fixing/filing parts of my nail that were rough between polish and drying...HORRIBLE 1st time IMPRESSION😒While paying she asked me twice if I wanted to give a tip..SO RUDE!!😡 I said NO!!

Short story: experienced horrible customer service in the favor of the client and my nails looked awful and $68 later for acrylic nails still arent 100% what I asked for after the redo and ones crooked. I wont be returning. Only reason I gave the 2 stars is because of Christina (she didnt perform my service but was who I talked to when I went in) and during the redo she wasnt aggressive with my nailsLong story: I came in on a Tuesday at 11:30 asked if they had an appointment. I was told to come back at 1. I was there at 12:45. I asked for almond shape with a design (which I know drives up cost) I told the technician I wasnt picky with the design I wanted something fun. The technician (who I wont name) told me she has done nails for 18 years so I thought I was in good hands. When I left my nails were very lumpy, crooked, and oval. Not almond. The technician was clearly rushing because there was 3 people who had appointments at 1:15 and I believe they realized they overbooked themselves. Then 3 more people came in 2 with appointments 1 was an add on so a total of 6 people. I reached out to them via Facebook who I believe Christina answers. They agreed that the nails were awful and yes offered to redo them but I was nervous they were going to be aggressive with my nails and asked for a refund. They said they dont give refunds but told me that because I wanted almond and a design and didnt tell them when I made the appointment that I wanted that that causes them to run over. Ive never had to tell previous nail technicians I wanted that ahead of time. I told them Id come in within the hour but couldnt do the redo because I had a friend from out of town here. When I came in the gentleman asked if I had an appointment and when I said no I came to talk about my redo. When I said redo he sat down and flipped open his iPad and proceeded to ignore me. I said I just wanted a refund and want to go somewhere else and could have my nails removed or they could clip them so they dont look good (even though they didnt look good to begin with). Was told again they dont give refunds. I told them Id hate to leave a bad review. His response: do what you have to do.... that blew my mind. Christina then came up and tried resolving the issue and booked me a redo. Thanks Christina. I came in today for my redo. I was nervous because yeah they could jack up my nails. The technician showed me the shape and I just went with it. Which yes I could have told her it still isnt what I wanted but again I was scared shed become aggressive. Theyre better. One is still a little wonky but Ill fix it... overall I wouldnt recommend this place and wasnt gonna leave a review but I felt compelled to because of the horrible experience I had and I still dont technically have what I want. I will say the redo was drama free and I did tip her for fixing her mistake because she took the time out of her day.

I got my nails done ( shellac polish )on Thursday and my nail polish started chipping by Monday so I called the salon and spoke to Charlie, he told me to come to the shop When I went in to get my nail fixed first of all this wife was rude upon my arrival . I explained that my nail started peeling therefore my polished started chipping, he said it’s not his fault he can’t help if my nail peels so I said I just had them filed 4 days ago, Charlie says then he’s going to have to charge me I said even if I just had them filed 4 days ago he gets rude after I ask the question he gets up from the nail table and says I have other customers I’m sitting there thinking your acting very unprofessional he also called me a liar because I had another nail that the polish was coming off so I said to him this nail wasn’t peeling and this polish is coming off this nail as well he says you bumped it I told him I did not bump it that’s when he called me a liar . To make a long story short Charlie and is wife is very rude .

I had my nails done today, asked for gel overlay. What they used and claimed as gel, was acrylic put into a bottle that they hand wrote gel on. Gel builder is one product and does not require a monomer. I will say that they paint nails well, but aside from that I will not be returning. Over priced scam.

I walked in for my appointment and discovered they were going to charge me an extra 15$ to take off the powder from my previous nexgen. The price was already 50 and it ended up at 65. I went across the street and it was 35 for everything! Yikes!
