I had an appointment but still had to wait over an hour BUT I appreciated that they acknowledged it, apologized, and they came by to check on me periodically. Additionally, it was clean and the services of manicure and pedicure were great! I will give them another shot :)

Ever time I go there it seems like they do a rush job on my feet. I just left there and my toe hurts were the the lady was supposed to have clipped my ingrown toenails .my feet feel dry I will not be going back I try to like this place but there is no excuse for taking my money and not doing your best.

Every time I come here something always goes left. My most recent visit, I came in at 5:30 and didn’t get seated until 7:00 after several people who came in after me were seated. After getting my polish (mind you i’m only getting a polish change) situated and getting started, the lady who was working on me left to do someone else who was complaining about waiting over an hour for a pedicure and her water being cold. After finally working on me 15 minutes later after telling me it’d be 5, she proceeded to rush on my feet being careless with her filing. Thought this place would be convenient because it’s so close to my house but never again. Would not recommend!

Used to come here a lot but now it seems like their products are cheap. My nails always chip and break in less than a week (I get no chip polish). Other nail shops last longer. Good for pedicures though

I used to like this place. Now they are even more rude than ever before, and FILTHY! Pre and during the pandemic, they clearly havent cleaned the place. The little pouch that they bring out in the sterlization bag isnt sterile at all. I work in the health field, and we use those same bags. I dont believe that they clean the instruments and bring them out in new bags to trick us I suppose. Everywhere you look there is dust and or dust build up. They never, ever clean. I absolutely abhor this place now. Id rather make fake nails out of clue than go here. I go for no chip on my natural nails, but they chip less than a week after my service. What really tickles me, is that they actually EXPECT a tip. Bye yall! Tuh, no more of my money.

I waited for an hour and a half and still didnt receive any service. I left they didnt have enough staff they should not take walk ins everyone had an appointment which made the wait time longer for walk ins. Will NEVER go there again!

I got a pedicure here 2 days ago and it was a terrible experience. It was my birthday, Im a busy mom of 2 and rarely have the time to treat myself. I was very disappointed with my service, I asked the woman to get my ingrowns out, Im pregnant and it causes a lot of pain for me. She only made them worse. My feet hurt so bad. Yesterday was my baby shower and I could barely walk. This is not my first experience with a bad pedicure here, I only went here because its really close to my house and I didnt want to leave my husband alone with the kids for a long period of time.I feel they really rush pedicures, unless you pay extra $ for the deluxe your pedicure will be terrible.Theree wasnt parking when I got there I circled around 3 times and ultimately decided to park in the back and walk around. It was so tiring.

Too crowded, only allowed 6 patrons to sit inside. I was told to come back in a hour 😩, so I went somewhere else.

Ive been going here for a number of years. There are great nail techs and some that arent so great. I know which are which by now. Pedicures are great and they are clean and professional. I recently went after not going since February and was impressed that they all had barriers for the customers for the nail and feet. They practiced social distancing and only have those being serviced inside at a time. For my pedicure I had a long plastic barrier to my sides and in front of me with only my feet being exposed to be serviced.

Van, Ava, Angela, Carol, Kenny, are some of the best nail techs here. Make appointments if you can, this shop is always busy. Their customer service has improved

LEE is the best, she’s so sweet and patient! I only see her for my lashes which will last about 2 weeks or longer, she knows exactly where to place them to make sure they stay on and also wont irritate your eyes. she can do them to your liking and would even let you bring your own pair of lashes and it’s only $25!!!! Tho i havent been here for my nails yet i only go here for my lashes.

All I can say is, money well spent. I feel like a million bucks after a pedicure here. They take good care of their customers.

I would absolutely never go here again! This was absolutely the worst pedicure ever! The only thing I asked is for my nails to come out symmetrical. I came in with fairly long nails to make sure they could all be files down to the same size, because I knew that is what I wanted. Thats how I like my pedicure. She did the exact opposite. She made each other a different length and a different shape. Then had the nerve to still charge me 15 because at that point I was done I wanted to stop the pedicure. I should have known this place was trash when there was no line wait. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I came to this location as it was recommended by my best friend. I asked for pink and whites, the owner herself sat me down to do my nails. The only problem was, she refused to sit down to finish my nails. She got up literally 19 times sometimes just to signal someone to the back. After an hour in the chair I politely told her that I had another appointment. To which she visibly got angry and started insulting pink and whites(out of style) my preferred nail shape (ugly) and rushed at top speed thru the rest of my set. She sat me next to her station to dry but both lights were broken. She refused to fix them or find new ones and had already sat someone else down when I had to ask her for almond oil. Never again will I waste my money with these ingrates. Do yourself a favor and find a better shop with a functional owner that possesses social skills and a better attitude to spend your money with.

It was a good experience overall plus I love my nails. But I will say they werent being honest about the length of time in between clients. I had Von who was good, but she was all over the place because she had to keep up with the sign in sheet and client placement. They definitely would benefit from a receptionist. Things would flow ALOT better. I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

Owns up to its name!!! Very organized, clean, and classy. Feel like Im in a top luxury spa. A little pricey but worth it. Very sanitary. You can tell that all of the nail techs are experienced. Absolutely the best nail shop I have been to lately.

Love this place! Great service, they use new tools on each person, you are seated in a timely manner (good nail places always have a wait plus some nail techs honor appointment) show pictures and be pleasantly direct and you will be satisfied. Referred several others and they love the place too!

They did a pretty good job on my nails. The mail tech took forever. I was in there for over 2hrs.... Thats too long. But everyone was pleasant. But the biggest issue is someone brought their son to work. He had to be about 5yrs old... and he is sick. He has a very strange and strong cough and hr was just running around coughing not covering his mouth. He was playing and having fun but his cough was bad. People should not be subjected to illnesses like that. Youre in the service business and you get working ppl as clients...noone wants that demonic cough. That baby needed to be home in the bed with some honey and tea.

I was not very pleased with the hospitality or lack there of at this shop. We walked and got looks like who are you. And why are you here. I told them I need a pedicure. We didnt have to wait to long. They said go to nine. I have never been to this shop. So it took me a minute before I figured out where 9 was. Then Steve came and greeted me nicely. But after that it went downhill. He was rude to me. Didnt give much eye contact. Nor did he say thank you! Needless to say I will be coming back to this shop. And suggest that you train Steve a little better on how to do a pedicure properly. And how to talk to your paying customers.

My daughter does a BETTER job at giving a no chip french. PATHETIC! I thought by the name that they live up to it but nail shops nowadays think they can name themselves whatever they want and NOT live up to it. WHATEVER makes them feel better, all I can say is DONT WASTE your time. Joke of a shop!

I have been going to this Cityu Nails salon for many years. I went to City Nails this morning at 10:30 am. I signed in requesting Lee. However, I told the manager if she had an appointment, I would take anyone. The manager told me Lee could take me after her current appointment. I said I would wait. When Lee finished her client,approximately 1 hour later, she walked over to me apologizing that she had another appointment and she could not take me today.City Nails has expanded to this large luxurious nail salon. It lacks organization and customer service. I wont be returning to City Nails again. This is not my first disappointment with them but it is my last.

Ive been going to this place for over a year.This morning I went for pedicure and fill-in. I ALWAYS take my own gloves due to a latex allergy. Today, they would not use my gloves. He said the acetone breaks the gloves, so I offered him more gloves in case that happened. He refused, and told me if I wanted a pedicure he was gonna use his gloves. I said I couldnt take that chance. He stared at me like he wanted to do something to me!! He grabbed his things, took them to the back, and brought back a towel for me to use. Service is good. Was going there for like 2 months. Always got there at 7:30 after work. Went today and they tell me they close at 7:30. Says it on the sign, but says 8 on google. Drove all the way out here from Chicago. I told her that and she just apologized for the time being wrong and shuns me away. Then I call her and ask for a credit or something and the manager said I dont owe you anything. I said sorry. Bad customer service.

At first I was pretty thrilled with the service. Won’t take anything away from the older man who did my pedicure. I’ve been getting dip manicures for over a year. I’m active duty military stationed in Virginia and visiting home while my husband wraps up deployment. I needed my nails done so I opted for this location because it was the closest to me that did sip manicure. I got my nails done Sunday night and by Tuesday all but one nail had broke or cracked. Remember I get dip regularly and I have never ran into an issue with multiple broken nails within a matter of a couple days. When I came in Tina, the owner, kept insisting the issue was not the quality of work. She repeatedly blames me for the breaks and said there was nothing they could do cause they don’t guarantee break repairs. After telling her I was military and from out of town she told me she’d fix them. However, the women who fixed them would not listen to me at all when telling her how I wanted my nails. I told her the length and shape multiple times and she kept telling me no you need them short I got this. I got so frustrated I just ended up shutting up so I wouldn’t get out of character because that’s not how I was raised. She then proceeded to put acrylic on my nails even though I told her it was dip and get confrontational with me when I told her I was not going to accept acrylic. It was just complete chaos. My nails are the one thing I treat myself to as a sailor and a mother and they made my normally peaceful and enjoyable habit the complete opposite. If you have any option over the matter do not give this business your money. They clearly do not care about the happiness of their customers.

I have been using this salon for 4 years. I will never go anywhere else. Those that are complaining, well, YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE!! I have NEVER seen anyone disrespected. If you have to wait an hour its because they are BUSY, duh? In this era of you owe me customers, I feel sorry for folks who have to work with the public. The demographic in Lansing definitely is comprised of a lot of you owe me residents.This place has very competitive pricing, is a family business and treats all customers with respect.

Waited for Kim from 9:15 to 9:45 for my 9:30 appointment (scheduled two weeks ago after my last appointment). When she finally arrived, she called another person who arrived after me and before Kim. She had same appointment. I just got up and scratched my name off sign in sheet and walked out. This is second time this happened with Kim. The first time she ran out and caught me before I left. Said someone else double booked her. I don’t know what happened this time because she booked my appointment-no one else. This also happened with Hugh a couple years ago. After I waited over 30 minutes for my appointment, he told me that he had a walk in.....I won’t be going back again.

It was okay only 1 person is the best, which is Tom. All the other technicians rush and dont do a provide quality service

Watched about 3 people come in asking them to fix a manicure they messed up. I waited an hour to get my lashes fixed by Lee (who messed them up in the first place) on for her to drop my lashes on the floor, promote their own lashes and tell me she’s not going to fix them. The lashes she put on fell off the same day. Then refuse to give a refund. I would not recommend this place for lashes, manis or pedis. Horrible customer service!

This place is by far the most unprofessional nail salon that Ive ever been too. Paid 75 bucks for a full ombre set and they appeared to look nice until my nails dried and I got home. When I really sat and looked at my nails I noticed that my real nails were visible underneath. And like literally all my nails were uneven and not shaped the same. I wanted coffin shaped. Went back to get fixed. Waited 45min then They told me that coffin shaped nails are hard to accomplish. I replied, Okkkkkkk!? So is my 75 bucks your charging!!! That was my first incident.The second was when I went back for a fill.The nail tech ask what she could help me with I told her that I needed a fillin to my ombre set she said ok and started filling in my nails like she automatically knew what color ombre, where as ombre has multiple shades. Long story short she did not put the same shade and my nails were completely unacceptable. Looked like my 8 year old daughter had did them. Went to get them fixed once again and the manager had a complete attitude, had a nail tech to try n fix and he told me that they were basically doing me a favor to fix, because they get paid off commission like I didnt pay 75 the first time and 40 bucks the second time for a fill. Everything goes well at this place if u will allow ur nails to be done any ol way but the minute u speak up about ur dislikes they have a very big problem like ur not entitled to complain.All while Im unhappy tryna get my nail fixed another lady gets upset while Im there. They over charged her credit card by 48 bucks for a 10 dollar color change. Then wanted to call the cops because she wanted her money back. Save yourself the hassle, time and money. Just go someplace else.

Went to inquire about a fill in with acrylic and no chip polish..the guy come to the front and ask can he see my nails..and proceeded to tell me $40 because of the length, first off your doing a fill in not a full set of nails with no chip..seems to me he made the price up in his head..the price list clearly states $18 for fill ins,and my nails are a medium length not long,no chip is normally $10..so where is he getting the extra $12 price from..i can see them charging and extra $5 for a length they call long, but $12 is just being shady and dishonest..

Very nice shop got in and out within an hour. The lady did my nails nice nd not bubbly. The guy did my sister’s nails bubbly but overall nice shop. Acrylic nail medium set is 30 bucks nd was lowkey worth it for my set.

My favorite salon, get there early though cuz they are packed as soon as the doors open and they are expanding, hopefully this will help. Everyone there is really nice and quick but good.
