We love it here! My 2 year old son does the open tot gym time every week and the mommy and me class. He has learned so much. Everyone who I have worked with there has been phenomenal. Tonya and Nicole are both great. Highly recommend their classes and programs for toddlers! -Lauren Rodriguez
Awesome place and the owner is a great guy. My toddler loves open gym on Wednesday’s!
Love toddler hour of open gym! My daughter always has a blast and takes great naps after! Nice staff too!
This place is amazing! My daughter has been going here for 3 years.I have never had any problems or issues. They have many kids that they are dealing with at a time and are very busy. Jared, Coach Jen and Amanda are awesome. Coming from someone with a business degree, this place is ran well:)
Prior to enrolling my 6 year old at Gymnastics Etc I spoke with the owner and several coaches to ensure this was a good place for her due to a slight physical disability she was born with. Everyone I spoke to assured me the class she was signed up for would be perfect, my daughter was thrilled, I was thrilled.Fast forward a few weeks and my daughter’s coach approaches me stating that she’s been hearing a few (much older) girls making fun of my child because of her physical disability. my daughter is 6, these kids were at least 10-13.Before the coach mentioned this to me, she asked my daughter, who before her bringing it up, hadn’t heard the rude comments. Her coach proceeded to tell her what the girls were saying. She was crushed.Livid, at the situation I asked the coach what was being done to address the issue with the parents of the bullies (aka: a**hole kids who are picking on my child). Her response, “I told them to stop, but they kept doing it.” I asked her why it was being addressed with me instead of the bullies parents, you know, the parents of the kids that are actually doing something wrong, she said “addressing it with the bullies parents never crossed my mind”.I am irate at how this situation was handled, I’ve reached out to the owner on several occassions now with no response. What kind of person blames an innocent 6 year old for the bad decisions of kids who are twice her age? What kind of person tells a 6 year old that kids are making fun of her? What kind of person blames the victim of bullying; instead of placing the blame where it belongs - with the bullies and their parents!Bottom line, this place is horrible, the kids are not properly separated by age range, the coaches obviously have no control over the actions of the kids under their care and best of all they allow bullying and blame the victim.
The coaches are very knowledgeable and the children learn alot. Its not as close as other places from my house, but worth it because of the professionalism of the program.
Great place to work out! Clean gym. Great staff, always walking around and keeping the place looking new..
My daughter did summer camp here and shell be doing it again this year along with gymnastic classes which shes been doing periodically since she was 3 years old. The progression you see and the way these children are taught exceeds expectation. I feel comfortable leaving my little one in such good hands through the summer!
I am lihana carlo and i think the gymnastics for her is alsome
I must say after two summer camps here, after school care and gymnastics this place has fallen apart since Megan left. She truly cared about each child and their well being. There are some staff left that still do the same however the staff that run the facility and make the overall decisions clearly are not considered about the kids here. Kids can not bring money on field trips so it is up to the coach if they are allowed to have popsicles. So half of the summer camp kids were allowed to have popsicles while the other half had to watch them eat them all bc their coach couldn’t or wouldn’t buy them one. When I brought this to their attention I was told sorry your child shouldn’t have had to see that. I informed them that at at rate of $147/week my child should have been allowed to have a popsicle OR parents should be allowed the option to allow their child to bring money to the field trips OR just do not allow anyone to have popsicles. This is not the first issue I have had but it was the last straw for me. I want to know w confidence that my child is cared for and treated fairly and unfortunately I no longer feel that she was at this establishment.
So, my daughter is a very functional special needs child with a speech delay and some minor fine motor delays who currently attends Gymtek and in order to accommodate her I am allowed to participate in her classes in order to make sure she is understood and doesnt get hurt as gymnastics can be dangerous. We love Gymtek and everyone on the staff there, but they dont offer private sessions on a schedule that works for us so I called Gymnastics Etc weeks ago to ask whether or not they would make the same accommodations for private lessons since they offer these sessions on a better schedule for us. Therefore, it was my intention to keep her at Gymtek and begin private sessions with them once a week also. 3 weeks went by and I hadnt recieved a callback from mgmt. Today, I called again and the gentlemen Jared who was supposed to call me back weeks ago told me flat out they could not make any accomodations other than to allow my 4 and a half yr old and I to participate in a mom and tot baby class on Tuesday while she is in school! So disgusted by the callous and heartless mgmt here that youd probably have to pay me to ever take my child to them. Funny because before we began at Gymtek, I had called around a bit and this was one of the places I spoke to, they had no problem accomodating her then... Shame on them for not accommodating for children with disabilities. 1 star because 0 wasnt an option.
Coach Kelly and coach Phil and the entire staff do such a great job with the kids.
Had a horrible experience with the owner yelling at children like he was talking an adult. Would not ever take my child back.
