I just join this gym and I love it. The best gym in Lakeland. They have EVERYTHING you need for a great workout. Staff is friendly and best of all this gym is spotless. I also love that the treadmills have little fans on them. I been to so many gyms in my life time and this one is the best so far.

Honestly one of the best gym experiences Ive ever had. All of the employees are genuinely nice! Everything is clean, kept up, and so far has never been crowded.

Well equipped facilty. Many options for work outs, cardio, free weights, basketball court, aerobic room, spinning, pool and more. Recently had a situation with a very rude, unprofessional trainer named Aaron. He said he is supposed to be master trainer perhaps to me by the way he represents himself and the company shows he has no manners or education. The cleaning guy has more pride and respect for the gym brand than him. When you signed up make sure they explain to you what is included in your membership. Request it in writing if possible. You can find other staff who are always attentive, friendly and helpful like Mike and Raul. Most people clean the equipment after being used. But I prefer to always clean it before hand.

Visited this north Lakeland location tonight and received the absolute nastiest service ever from Trenton the “operation/ sales manager”. Came in with simple questions about trials along with my father who is paying $320 monthly for their personal training. His attitude was disgusting 🤮.. he is so full of himself and should really be trained on ppl skills and customer service.. he is failing this business terribly. The owner or his manager (that he told me he didn’t have) should really look into this. Any way guys. Even if you’re paying a zillion dollars a month they don’t offer trials to new coming potential customers. What a joke. Steer clear of this place or definitely Trenton. Worst experience ever !!

Not too crowded and staff are INCREDIBLY helpful at all times. Equipment is taken care of with on-site repair guy and cleaning staff are impeccable!

This club is great. Very clean, friendly staff, and lots of space to do anything you want. Trenton the sales manager is great and very helpful. Make sure to go see him when you come in, he works from Mon-Sat!

Esporta is the best gym choice. All the equipment is new and clean. Staff is 24/7 cleaning and sanitizing equipment, all the equipment looks new and is safe. Bonus is that all the staff is super nice. Trenton (manager) and John (front desk) are awesome, they are always there to greet you and see how youre doing. They frequently have vendors come visit and free food and energy drinks, pre-workout samples etc. As far as atmosphere, there are people who are in all different points in their fitness journey so you can feel comfortable coming here. Classes are available as well as personal training. Id recommend this gym to anyone.

The gym is very clean and socially distanced right now due to covid. All the staff are extremely professional and welcoming! Trenton helped me get set up with my membership and I received excellent service. I’ve tried a few gyms in the Lakeland area and this one is by far the best one. Rates are great, too!

I’m so glad I found this place! The staff is absolutely incredible. They are super welcoming and make you feel like you are a part of a gym family. It is always super clean and they take great care of the machines and equipment. You will find everything you’re looking for at this gym!

Esporta fitness also previously known as LA fitness is a very well-run, clean facility. There is plenty to do for everyones taste and talent in exercise. You can bury yourself by yourself and do a full workout without coming into contact with anybody. There are people who work out together. The early morning crowd which Im a part of comes in spends a good hour gets their stuff done and moves on. I know there are others that come later. Theres a variety of services available and group activities. Again its a well-run clean club and Im pleased to be part of it

I absolutely love Esporta Fitness and if I can give this gym 10 stars ⭐️ I would. This is the best affordable gym in Lakeland. This gym have everything and I mean everything. Not only does this gym have a pool and a basketball court, they constantly cleaning the machines and equipment and that say a lot especially when we are in a Pandemic. Also, the manager Trent is always friendly and always available to assist with any concern I have .I would recommend this gym to everyone.

I usually don’t write reviews for stuff... but Esporta is worth it!!!! I’ve been at this location for a little over two years and have not ever had a bad experience. The gym is sparkling clean (which is a huge factor for me) and the employees are fabulous. All of the employees, Trent and Raul in particular know me by name and always make sure to chat with me when I come in. The environment is supportive and uplifting. I actually look forward to working out, who would’ve thought.... If you’re looking for a place to start your fitness journey or continue it, Esporta is just that. There is a range of people from total beginners to people who lift pretty seriously. I have learned a lot from the employees, as well as watching others, so if you have gym anxiety like me - don’t worry! I would 100% recommend this gym to anyone looking for a new place to better themselves.

The gym is nice and so is equipment. The cleanest la fitness/esporta fitness I’ve been to. I’m a truck driver that goes to locations all over the US so I’ve seen quite a few. The cleaning lady does an amazing job and is always working hard. Never overly crowded and people are respectful.

Large gym, everyone friendly, staff is awesome. Machinery is everywhere, never too crowded. Very good equipment. Very clean.

Gym is great, but you better download an album or playlist before going in as you have no service outside the cardio area and the wifi is laughable at best. I had my music cutting off every few minutes because the service was so bad it had to buffer, not being able to listen to music during a workout is a very big pet peeve of mine. I’m going to try planet fitness and if the service/wifi is better there I will be canceling my membership to Esporta. In 2021, bad wifi is just unacceptable.

Amazing place, great service

No doubt this is the best gym on the North side of Lakeland. The staff is very friendly and the best dressed out of any other gyms. this gym is well-designed and the light comes in well making me always feel like morning. if youre looking for a professional gym that is not too crowded and keeps a high standard oh, this is the gym. Go in and talk to Trent, what a great guy!

Gym is greatly spaced and clean. Front desk receptionist customer skills needs some work. I walked in for the first time to this facility, scanned in wished a good morning. She is so glued to her computer she didnt even acknowledge who is walking in and out. But, I guess we are not there for customer service. Rating is just for the facility!

New to the area and shopping for a gym in Lakeland. Stopped by LA Fitness to find out it is now Esporta. Trenton helped us he gave us a tour and explained everything. During this time we were looking at 3 other gyms as well. Trenton Helped us with a guest pass and out of for James he was the only one to reach back out to us yet didnt make us feel pressured. During our busy the gym was super clean and I always saw staff cleaning and making sure safety is top priority. Thank you Trenton and team.

The main reason I give it 5 stars is because of the staff. They are unbelievably wonderful. I personally hate the corporate chain gym style. I prefer crossfit/functional fitness type gyms but I needed pool access. (Pool is great for the size too) With that being said, everything is clean and there’s always something open. The people who work here really go out of their way to make sure you’re happy with your experience. :)

If you’re looking for a gym in Lakeland, I would check this one out. The gym is always clean, plenty of equipment so you aren’t waiting around, and the staff is helpful. Trenton is really friendly and beyond helpful when you have a question or need assistance with something!

Id give it more stars but theres definitely one thing I do not appreciate. I go there for one purpose, thats to keep myself healthy, fit and strong. I honestly dont want to see women walking around in a bra, not covered by a shirt. I dont understand why this location lets that go on. What if the men started walking around in underwear too. This place is a public place, and their should be a dress code. The yoga pants are nasty enough, but no shirt? Its just the decent thing to do, to be dressed in public.Other than that, I like the place so far.

It is very clean. The cleaning crew is constantly on the floor cleaning over and over. It has a great equipment assortment and a friendly staff. The locker room is always clean and never smells like sweaty balls. The members seem pretty nice and helpful as well. It has a huge pool and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Today was the first day of esporta fitness. This was previously and LA fitness. Its a pretty clean facility with all the equipment that you might need.the only thing that I would say is missing is a sauna. Helpful staff you should stop by there and give it a shot

One of my favourite things about this gym is how big and uncrowded it is! Tons of equipment to go around and never crowded. Other good things: cost isn’t bad, pool, ample parking, daycare, court for volleyball/basketball.Things that would make it better: sauna, more equipment (like a more versatile t-bar, stretch trainer)

I joined here about a month ago. It is a great place to work out. There are so many machines you never have to wait. I love the pool. They also offer personal training and I signed up for 6 months. Just love it!

Unfortunately this LA Fitness location lacks many of the accommodations that other locations have and they charge the same price. Furthermore, the staff relentlessly called me to try and get me to join their gym. It was to the point of me having to block the number on my phone. The manager (At the time I went) was actively making fun of other gyms and those who choose to go to them.However, the machines were nice.

The staff is wonderful. They have multiple machines of every kind. The temperature is set for working out hard. The pool is a nice temp. Everything is clean, quiet, and not crowded. No judgement zone. Patrons of all levels. Nice variety of classes offered.

Horribly managed gym! They do a DJ all the time which overpowers your own music. When I complained to the front desk the manager came up to explain it is for membership appreciation and that it wasnt his decision it came down from corporate. Funny thing is Ive been a member of LA Fitness in Jacksonville for years and never heard of corporate demanding a DJ as if you were at a club. When I pointed out to him how many people had headphones on and how it kinda ruins the workout he got offended and copped an attitude. Perfect example of insecure people in management positions. Guess they have another source of income other than memberships cause I cancelled mine.

I used to workout at Golds Gym and hated it...made the switch to LA Fitness and I absolutely love it! The gym is in a great location - always clean - and a great atmosphere! Glad I made the switch, no regrets!!

Pretty clean Gym. New Equipment. Only reason for the 1 star is their hours. Ive never seen an LA fitness with these kinds of hours. Closes way to early. Limited hrs on the weekend for people that work.

Think about it before joining, place is awesome, however, they have 20 people for you to sign up but only 1 to cancel and he is NEVER there, and he is the only one that can approve a cancellation, this is how they legally steal your money.. therefore, be aware and be sure of membership because if you change your mind you will be paying for a long time before you can even cancel

I am not feling comfortable lately

I moved to another job in Davenport and I’m trying to find a Gym like LA Fitness and there’s nothing similar....clean, full of equipment, huge space, great ventilation,soft music, TV’s, Daycare, vending machines, beautiful bathrooms, great staff, affordable and worth it price...nothing similar. I’m already missing my gym and I think the search will not be easy :(

So far, this is the best LA I’ve been to in the nation. Consistently awesome staff, clean facilities, and even the clientele seems to be “douche-bag free” here.I wish all gyms were like this one, and I hope it stays like this... pool & jacuzzi btw

Nice, typical LA Fitness which is one of the best chain gyms. They close way too early. Time for LA to catch up with the times and go 24 hours or follow Ballys into the history books.

Never got the chance to workout here. I stopped in to check out the facilities, because I was thinking about switching gyms. I walked in and asked, well call her the receptionist, if I could walk around and check the place out. She told me that you were only allowed to walk in and look around with a fitness counselor providing a tour. She asked me to sit on the seats next to the front door, practically insisting. When she came back, she told me that there was only one fitness counselor and she was with someone else. She said she would be done soon. But then she said, you can walk to the other side of the gym and sit in the lounge there. So I took my young son and we started to walk in that direction. I hadnt made it 20 steps before of the fitness counselor jumped up from the clients she was with and literally put both of her hands up in front of my face saying you cant walk through here. I told her the receptionist told me to walk through and sit in the lounge. She said I didnt realize she told you that, but you still cant walk through here. That was all I needed. I will stay with Just Move and the less pretentious, much more friendly staff.

I joined about a month ago. I love the location in North Lakeland. The place is immaculate! I love all the Zumba classes, the instructors are all nice, my favorite is Cristina, she is amazing!

Clean gym with new machines, mostly empty during the day which is nice. Lacks a racketball court, sauna, protein/smoothie bar, punching bags, and other amenities that most other LA fitnesses provide. Membership prices are nearly absurd, around $30/month with hidden fees that are conveniently not mentioned during the sign up process. Make sure you fully read the contract to avoid being taken by surprise. If you aren’t planning on coming regularly, or if this is the only LA fitness near you, the prices aren’t worth it.

I love it. I received 2 weeks free from a friend. Its to much for me to continue. I just wish they had scholarships.

Facilities are nice. Basketball court could use sidelines (out of bounds is the wall...) but otherwise everything is top notch.However, staff are completely unprepared to help with routine injuries. When my friend dislocated his finger playing basketball, he was asked if he needed an ambulance. Staff couldnt tell us where the nearest ER was; they didnt even have ice on hand (there was some lukewarm gel). Last week, another friend sprained his ankle playing basketball, and the staff didnt know where the first aid supplies were. My friend whod previously dislocated his finger had to point it out for them.Still a member. Well see for how long.

Called to inquire if it was possible that I could use my last month of membership at this location. Never set foot at this location or spoke to anyone in person yet...just called. Received a notification that I authorized a charge to switch my gym to theirs. You will be CHARGED for asking questions.

Beware of their “trial memberships”. I filled out a manual form and was told I had 5 days to try the gym and could cancel up until Feb. 3rd. I called first thing in the morning on the 3rd, spoke with the Assistant Manager, Jeremiah, and he said he would shred my manual form and nothing would be charged to my card. Later on that afternoon, my card was ran for the membership amount anyway. Now they are claiming it takes 3-5 business days to credit my credit card back. I don’t trust these people anymore and neither should you. Don’t sign anything for any trial. Other then that it’s a beautiful gym.

LA Fitness have no consideration for those with lower income and wanting to charge 50% of a yearly subscription that I won’t be able to use due to my relocation to a place with no LA Fitness. Supposedly FLORIDA’s LA FITNESS IS THE ONLY STATE THAT DOESNT CONSIDER A CLIENT’s RELOCATION TO A DIFFERENT PLACE.

One of the worst gyms I have ever been too. I was at Sarasota, and Lakeland location. I was getting trained by coaches. What a joke. Most of the time staff wouldnt show. I was told training was as I go not a years membership like I was told when i tried to cancel trainong sessions. These people are all about the sales.
