Hello reviewers,This was amazing service, even while packed we didnt wait long and the massage chairs were awesome. The attendants were nice and did a great job. Location was close to LaBurge and Golden Nugget.

I rarely treat myself to a manicure/pedicure. So glad I did. Also the perfect time to realize you havent shaved in months.

Awesome experience today!!! Got a file down, fill and Shellac color over my French manicure. The tech did a great job, took his time and made sure I was happy with the results. The price was also very reasonable. Its always a pleasure doing business with Avalon.

Great experience. They got me right in. Got a manicure and a deluxe pedicure with shellac polish on both. Well worth the cost. Very reasonable. My girl Ann was sweet and chatty and did a great job. I felt very pampered and tipped the s**t out of her. The next day, I brought my daughter in for the same treatment. Leyna was her girl. Sweet and efficient. The ladies were all very professional and aimed to please. Ill go back there when Im in Lake Charles again.

I paid for shellac on my hands and toes after they constantly kept insisting the polish lasts and the color doesnt fade. (all white) I paid $130 for a manicure, pedicure, and pedicure for my daughter who is only 7 with a tip for both ladies that did my hands and feet only on the count of them taking me last minute. After 4 days, the polish is now a cream color it has cooked on my toes as well. I paid extra for cuticle soaking and removal. She didnt soak my hands because she said it would be better to cut them afterward. She put a bunch of oil so I couldnt tell.. my cuticles are still hard and cracked and hurting.. very disappointed. Ive already taken the nails off

I enjoy my new nails last Saturday night. Even though its was a lot people theres yes we had to wait for hours to our nails done it was worth to waitI really like my nailsMrs. Leyna done my nails Beautiful ❤️ every body like it for real 4/2/2021My feet will be done this week I will be back with some body else with me to get there done too

So so good, they weren’t too busy so I didn’t feel rushed, got cow print nails (I posted a pic) and they turned out amazing. Staff was super friendly. If you want cow print ask for Michelle! I’ll definitely be back.

I used to use this place years ago, back in high school, but then I started working in the medical field and wasn’t really allowed to have fake nails. So I’ve been out the game for a while. Up until this past year, I took maternity leave for three months and I was getting my nails done every two weeks, I started going back Avalon during those months, and every time I would always get a dip, the technician T which is One of the guys there, always did my dip nails and he always did a fantastic job. However this time I went, I changed it up, T Wasn’t there when I got there, so I use someone else. I decided to get shellac this time, because I found this picture on Pinterest for Christmas nails and I fell in love with it. I knew they wouldn’t be able to do it with the dip, this awesome lady, I don’t know her name I wish I would have gotten it before I left. However she looked at the image and literally did the exact same as the picture. To the t. She did an amazing job, my nails are gorgeous I’m in love with them. She works so hard on them, I think it took two hours, but she was so patient so precise and a perfectionist when it came to looking at the image and copying them to my nails. I was so impressed with her that I felt the need to come on here and leave an awesome review. When I post this picture the person who did my nails will know who she is. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my nails since the day I got them. I had to go back in today, because my ring finger nail that had the glitter placed on them was sticking up and kept getting caught in my hair so I had them fix it. I saw the same technician, she rushed me to her booth, not only fixed my two ring finger nails re-apply the clearcoat thick enough to where my nails were smooth, but she also fixed my thumb nails that shipped a little bit for absolutely no charge. I was planning on paying for the fixings, however she would not let me. This place seems to amaze me more and more every time I go. Amazing people, friendly, And their jobs are always amazing on my nails. It was great! Ms. Kelly did my mani/pedi. She did a wonderful, thorough job on my pedicure. It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had there. The desk staff is very friendly and attentive.

Perfect they painted my 3 year olds nails and didnt charge but 4$ and she loved it they lady let me take pics and everything

My pedicure was good but the service could have been better. I had to wait 12 minutes after my feet done to get my toes painted. Then I was treated like another black customer who didn’t like to pay for extra. Really sad tbh

Fast friendly service

I went in yesterday to get a manicure. Lady sat me almost immediately and came to soak the shellac off my fingers. Another woman walks in and requested the tech that was with me. The tech then gets up and goes to do her pedicure instead and told me “I’ll find you someone in a minute”. I sat there soaking my fingers for 35 minutes and no one came to me. People who were walking in after me were getting techs straight to them. I got there at 2:55 and left at 4:00. Also, I didn’t even get a manicure. She straight up cut and filed my nails and put more polish on and told me I was done. I will be finding a new nail salon from now on.

I am a returning costumer of Avalon Nail Spa and used to think that their business was just THE BEST! I feel I have been a very loyal costumer and a good tipper on top of it but I have found myself leaving there VERY dissatisfied from past couple visits! First of all they have taken FOREVER to actually begin my pedicure and then it seems like it ends before it begins! They used to spend a lot of time massaging your legs and feet and making sure they scrub the bottoms really well and make sure they were nice and clean... but the last few times they made me feel like I was lucky they even put the nail polish in the right place much less give me a massage!This is a description of my latest visit: The manager asked me to pick my color and seated me where I sat for about twenty minutes watching four workers chat it up in the corner the entire time I was just sitting there! I started to get really aggravated that I was being ignored and decided I would just leave. I mean they had not even put water in the foot bowl for me to soak my feet in, I was just sitting there in an empty tub.The manager saw me getting up and decided that then he would start paying attention to me and said he just needed a few more minutes and that he would ask one of the ladies to take care of me! It took me getting up and leaving for him to finally ask his workers to render their services! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!Unfortunately I do not think I will be going back there ever again!

Felt like i was getting a pedicure with dollar store facemask was not worth $45 still have residue on my legs and the wax never actually set on my feet or my friends

Let me first start by saying that Im from Houston, so the hygienic standards may be different from a state licensing perspective. They do not have the sealed sterilized bags for each new customer and reuse all the equipment over and over. They also move very quickly and rush you. Ive never had a shellac mani done so quickly! They get you and out and keep it moving. Cant wait to return to my Houston salons!!

Worst experience ever. The nail tech that did my nails was very rude. Upon meeting Ms. Michele, she seemed very rushed for time. Rushing me to pick a color and cutting my fingers up in the process. Once I choice a color and a very simple design she agreed that she could do it. I asked very politely if she could fix some of the lines that were slanted in the design, she completely smeared it even more. In hopes of hiding it, I asked her to draw a heart on it than she realize the color did not show up as well as she thought so she took a dry paper towel and smeared it off leaving behind polish on my nail that took another color and applied it on top. It look terrible so I asked if she could fix it and she wiped both nails completely of the design and said she did not have time for that and she was leaving my nails as is. I will never reture. Not to mention that I still had to pay for the unfinished work that has lumps and air bubbles all through it. I did not deserve such rude treatment especially when Im willing to pay what Im asking for.

Rushed through my pedicure and a 5 second massage. Not a lot of color options they’ve been out of my favorite pink color for months now. Won’t be going back. Thanks for nothing Avalon.

I ask for the same technician every time and I always have a great experience. They are quick, gentle, and have affordable prices! Just my opinion though.

Great customer service, but very poor quality. Visited from Baton Rouge and was greeted with kind faces and quick service, but the workmanship is just bad. I was also disappointed with the limited polish colors to choose from. I would only return in a crunch.

Probably never going back. The lady was pretty rushed the whole time. She cut my fingers so many times while filing, it was ridiculous. Then she put two of my nails crooked and wouldnt fix it because she said it was my finger that was crooked. Which is weird because Im pretty sure the fingers that I look at every day are not crooked, theyre pretty straight. In the end it cost $40, so I paid $40 to have jacked up nails and cut up cuticles.

Hands down horrible service. First time I have ever felt unwelcome in a nail salon. Paid for the most expensive pedicure and received maybe 2 minutes of massage total. Just the worst. Eyebrow wax is horrible as well. In and out in under 40 minutes.

Recently, in October 2014, returned to this salon, after a couple of years, for my pedicures.I have added waxing services. They are very nice and very good. Last visit they had new spa chairs. Will continue visiting if the service remains the same.

Would give this place 0 stars if it was an option. I came here to get a fill and a pedicure while the pedicure went fine the young lady (Nee) who did my fill rushed on my nails so it looked a lot worse then when I first walked in there and I walked out of the place with cuts all over my finger. As I walked out the door Nee beginned to talk bad about me in Vietnamese not knowing I understood everything she was saying. All in all worse nail experience ever. I will not be returning to this place.

I brought my godmother there she got a full set and i got a refill. They cut/burned (she was bleeding) her finger with the electric file. The burned me, i had a blister from it. I had bubbles in my finger nails so did she. They rushed through instead of taking there time & TOTALLY RUDE. I have gel nails already and they said they do not do gel nails i had to get a solar refill. They asked my nanny what she wanted and I said how much is it they said 28 for the full set and 17 for the refill. I gave the lady 5$ for a tip and they ended up charging me 19 for the refill! They use cheese grater for the pedicures. I will NEVER GO IN THERE AGAIN!
