I no longer feel it is safe to leave a package for shipping at your location. The last device I dropped off there directly to one of your representatives and got a receipt for was stolen out of the box. It was a phone for my sister in Colorado that was stolen and activated on an account in Lafayette. Unfortunately, for you all, I work for the wireless company and was quickly able to report the device stolen once my sister received the empty box. I know what account and when it was activated. You can bet the police & FedEx are investigating this as we speak. Stealing a $1300 phone is not taken lightly. Good luck! I will never do business there again!
I use this store almost daily and have never had a problem.I find the staff very friendly and helpful although it is a very busy store.
Not professional. Do not use the FedEx/kinkos store on Ambassador unless you like someone who will waste your time. Dec 22. Because traffic is horrible in Lafayette at this time, I called ahead to see if they could ship a gift for me. I confirmed what would be required but they refused to even give me an idea of the shipping costs. Even though I knew the weight, and where it was going. It was a super easy thing to plug into a computer and answer me. Made me drive into town and fight traffic only to be told an outrageous price but that if i would have packaged it on my own then it was less than half the cost. My problem with this is thats why I called ahead of time. Had they given me even a reasonable guess I would have prepared ahead of time and packaged it it myself. But, they werent professional enough to care and help me ahead of time. Do not use the FedEx/kinkos store on Ambassador unless you like someone who will waste your time. Very poor customer service.
Talk about employees who don’t care about customers satisfaction. I was refused service because I didn’t have return address on 6 boxes that were prepaid labels. I’m very unhappy with my treatment
You better bring cash, checkbook and credit card, very expensive!!!
I took 4 binders of materials with indexes and dividers to be scanned to a thumb drive. It cost (640+dollars) considerably more than quoted. The worse part is everything in the binders was all mixed up. It took a worker of mine almost 7 hours to sort everything back out. My company uses fedex and this location a lot . I may have to find someone else from now on
I went there one evening and they had a person in training at the front who was struggling with a customer while I waited for more than 10 minutes while another employee was in the back talking to someone, He saw me and ignored me.
On April 21 Tuesday at about 148 I had a package I needed to return to the sender. The box had Fedex on it and the ticket had ups on it also. I seen a fedex truck parked in the park so I went to see if I could give him the package. I horned at the driver before I got down just to let him know I was coming. He put the window down and I asked him if he could take the package in a nasty voice he told me no to read the box and see what it said.i told him it was a out of state address.He told me to read further down I then said it’s says ups but the box said fedex. He told me he didn’t care what the box said. I told him he did have to be rude about it and I asked who he was he said he didn’t have to tell me who he was. He told me he was being nice and I should have asked him if he was on his lunch break before I asked him anything else. I don’t know what type of people This company hires but you really need to do better cause that was the worst experience I have ever had in my life and if I could request to never have them deliver any of my packages I would. The self-serve copiers have the technology to copy a two-sided card onto one page. Thats a convenient & green feature. Another eco-friendly feature is the option to have ones receipt emailed, instead of printed. In addition, the clerk was friendly & knowledgeable about the equipment; very customer service-oriented.
Came in a couple of time to print some business cards, the staff was very helpful both times. First time the guy set it all up for me, second time I set it up on the computer myself and the guy working was very helpful and patient. Took them less than two hours to print and cut my orders....every other place in Lafayette that Ive tried has had at least a full day or more for turn-around time. Maybe it depends on who is working, but I have had great customer service there every time!
The website did not give me the option I was looking for when printing my documents. When I asked the cashier where I could have found the option, he had no idea!! Please dont tell me that you know this option is on your site, but cant explain to me where to find it. He offered to bind my lose papers for me, but it would have been an additional $10 to my order. I could literally get the exact same thing I needed from office Depot for $6. I will not be using these services again.

If you need to ship a larger item. Trust me go somewhere else. I called the store and confirmed the item dimensions and exact weight. Was told they could pack and ship “no problem”. Showed up that morning and confirmed again with the employee the dimensions and weight and she again confirmed they could ship it. Put it on the scale, which measures less that the weight I quote, and after putting everything in the computer was told they couldn’t ship it because it was too heavy. So I packed it up AGAIN! And took it to UPS who shipped it without any issues or attitudes!
I tried to get information by calling the store. Tony answered, and promptly transferred me to customer service before letting me finish my question. UPS thanks you Tony! They answered my question.
Self service copiers are easy to use. Staff was friendly and quick to change paper on the machine as well as process supplies purchase.
Tony saved my butt and got my project printed in a timely manner despite the store being unusually busy at the time. Staff members were patient and friendly, and cared that my prints came out to my satisfaction.
Delivered package to the wrong apartment.. (human error we all make mistakes).. So when I contacted this office it was the worst experience.. Frist of all the I.T DEPARTMENT Had no idea what they were talking about.** P.S FEDEX hire new I.T workers.. Then transferred like 10 times an 8 of them were wrong. When I finally talked to someone 1. They delivered to my door( they had specific instructions to leave package at front office.2. Its in the warehouse hasnt been delivered yet3. Delivered to the front office (no package)So these people had no idea what they were doing. Until Ana Villa saved the day she was so helpful and actually found out what really happened to my package(thank you again) So my package was delivered to the wrong apartment human error mistakes happen. This company was the worst customer service I have ever dealt with an this company makes me loose faith in humanity... Horrid. I just needed to print, but instead of assisting me, they were chatting. Id expect this behavior from teens, but these were two middle aged men. The service was just horrible and frustrating. On the bright side, I found out that office depot is cheaper, more efficient, and attentive.
Paid for package to have signature. It was left under the garage. And customer service said the package was delivered on time so what does it matter? Did not give me the refund for extra 18$ because they said it was delivered on time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. USE UPS IF YOU CAN. Ups was closed and I needed to deliver the package overnight. Will never use this companys service again. Horrible experience.
A little wait to be seen sometimes by desk personnel sometimes but always a clean facility w/ professional staff.
I come here sometimes to ship out bices with premade labels. They have never been slow. Also once I went here with a large box I had trouble carrying so a gentleman helped me unload it oyt of my truck and bring it inside. Its always clean in the store and their very polite although some employees dont talk at all. Overall a good experince.
Good place to make copies and mail things out using Fedex. Like the fact that they stay open later than most places.
Im glad to see that Im not the only one who has had a bad experience at this location. Rude. Unprofessional. To the point of being childish. High school students would do a better job AND theyd be HAPPY to assist, unlike the crew of so-called adults who work at that location. Shameful!
Also I felt like FedEx Office Print & Ship Center really cared about making sure they did a good job.
I tried to drop off a package at this business in my own box with a pre-printed FedEx label. The FedEx attendant would not take it, claimed I had to put it in a FedEx box, which would cost me $2! Said that wasnt his rule, but a rule of FedEx. (FedEx has no such policy on their website.) Is this a scam this FedEx Kinkos is running??I went to a FedEx Authorized Shipcenter/Mailbox Express and they promptly took the exact same package without any fuss.
I have to go here almost every week to send stuff for work. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and the operating hours are great.
Price quotes are never the same. One person says one price n the next has a different price for the same work.
Seriously, I havent experienced internet this slow since dial-up in the 90s. They charge by the minute so I guess theyre sure to get as much of your $ as possible. Wow.
