Rented via ACE at Acadiana car and truck rental. I did not know it wasnt ACE but either way, price was great online, but NO CAR AVAILABLE when I arrived from out of state!! I even called a few days before to reconfirm confirmation, ACADIANA says this happens all the time, ACE doesnt have access to their inventory, but shame on both companies for doing business like this!!

AVOID!!! Not worth the one star. This is not at the airport and you have to call for the shuttle which is just a random car with no signage. We had to ask Avis if ACE exists and where it is. After calling and being told the shuttle will be at the airport in three minutes, we waited for over ten because there is no shuttle. This woman came with an SUV with no signage and after just sitting at the pick up area for a while finally stepped out of the car and asked us if we are the people who rented it. Then she drives us to a shanty neighborhood and still no sign of the ACE rental. We go in a trailer marked Auto Rental Etc. She announces that the car that she picked us up in is the car we are renting and then we go in to do what she referred to as paperwork. She had no idea what she was doing and there was another woman inside who was talking to her like she was training a new employee. The car was covered in dents and had half a tank plus someone smoked in it. The best pry after we waited and we had to give them a copy of our insurance and sign shady papers plus give them $150 deposit they announce to us they do not work on Sunday which is when we return the car. The second woman TEXTED the manager and he would not get back to her so we had no choice but to take down an after hours tel number and get in the car to discover it has a cracked windshield. We went back inside to tell them but they had no other cars. Surprise surprise. In case you missed the beginning of this message: AVOID RENTING FROM ACE!

Polite, responsive staff. Good car but it did need new windshield wipers. Our rate was good for a busy time - Mardi gras. Id return for another rental!
