I will never rent from another Hertz again!We booked our rental A MONTH in advance and paid for it. We were notified 30 minutes before pick up time that they didnt have our rental and they had no other substitutes for it...which left us scrambling for a rental for our vacation. We had to call a 1800 number to receive a refund. Its been a whole Month and I have still not received a refund for a rental that we didnt even get! This company gets ZERO stars the one is so I can post this review.
The managers Chris and Ryan are very kind and nice people who are willing to work with you in the times where vehicle are in short supply. Good people to deal with.
I would avoid this location at all cost! Last time I rented from here I had the vehicle for a month and was never given a single point to my Hertz Rewards. I went to pick up my rental today that I will have for a week and they did not have the pickup truck that I reserved, instead I had to take a minivan because that is all they had left on the lot. Unfortunately I cant haul appliances in the minivan. Staff was less than friendly to say the least. The vehicle I picked up today had less than a half a tank of gas, was dirty and definitely not sanitized!

Hertz dropped the ball with my reservation. I made a car rental 7 days prior to needing a rental. I called the location around 9am to ensure my car was ready. She said it wasnt quiet ready but she would call me when it was ready to pickup.I called the location again (was placed on hold for 5 minutes) at 1:30, I was informed that my reservation still wasnt ready. I called enterprise and was able to get a rental immediately.
Spotless, disinfected car without so much as one spec of dust. Im OCD and I see dirt and smell germs when no one else does. So happy with the cleanliness of this car during a pandemic! They were not able to pick me up due to being short staffed but everyone was wearing a mask. In and out in 5 minutes. Will rent here again.
3 separate times I’ve reserved a vehicle here and every time I show up they don’t have the right size. My wife even called to make sure on Saturday that they would have it sense they never do. They assured us they would have it for that morning and they don’t have it again.30min later manager Jessica Bates is outside refusing to help while she is on the phone complaining to her upper. Meanwhile the new hire is trying to figure it out for us for about 20min now. So professional from management also the phone is on hold with three calls and the manager is still outside. Feel bad for the new hire. Also there is two customer just standing behind me waiting while she has been outside for a solid 30min.
Car was not cleaned by any means. Someone for sure peed inside this vehicle and the smell was so overwhelming it made me sick. There was food smeared all over the windows and food all over the carpet. Seats were destroyed with stains and I really don’t want to guess what the stains were. The most unsanitary situation you could ask for. I brought it back the next day because they closed before I could bring it the day of. (I was going to keep it for 2 weeks). Went to enterprise the next day. Go to enterprise, they were unbelievably polite and actually clean their vehicles. Unless you enjoy the smell and uncleanliness of sour urine.
You dont need a major credit card like some of their competitors.

Don’t waste your time. They take reservations and say they have a vehicle. Then when you get there they have nothing. Waste of time.
Everyone I talked to was courteous and polite. They helped me get into the car I needed rather quickly and returning the vehicle was just as easy. Only complaint is that they didnt answer the phone in a timely manner.
Rent a car with them and get there and dont have a car for you
Car was great everything went smooth, until I went drop off the car place was closed.called custom service she said lock the keys in the car.come Monday they wanted to charge my card $75 to unlock.call insurance they told me I am suppose to lock the keys in the car and then hertz call then state farm will unlock they said.very 😡

Excellent customer service. The people we dealt with here were very courteous & helpful. The price was excellent for the long trip we took from Lafayette Louisiana to Casa Grande Arizona. The car was clean and Im perfect condition. Well definitely be coming here again when we need a rental. Thank you for being so kind when other car rentals werent so kind to us .
My experience with Hertz was a good one until I got to the counter.The process of making the reservation was very easy. I made my reservation on line, and as far as prices are concerned, Hertz rates are very competitive.I did have a good experience with the operator on the phone; I had to change the pickup time from 11:00AM to 4:00PM, and the operator made this process easy. In a way this might be when the whole experience started to fall apart. You will notice why I say this at the end.Upon arrival to the counter I was not acknowledged until approximately after a half an hour of waiting. The staff was huddled in the back of the room having an intense discussion of what I guess could have been what plans they had for the evening, what they were going to do about all of the people waiting, or what they were going to do since they did not have any vehicles to give out. I was not able to completely establish their topic of conversation.When they finally came back to the counter, and I was able to ask a question about the availability of my reservation, the lady at the counter stated that no vehicles were available, but that she would be more than happy to cancel my reservation so that I could have the pleasure of calling around town to find another vehicle. She did not offer any explanation, acted like I was bodering her, and gave the impression that she did not have the time to deal with me. When I told her that I had heard her tell the people on the phone that no vehicles were available anywhere in town, and that canceling my reservation was not an option since I had to leave to go to work, she stated that I could wait in the lobby hoping that a costumer would return a vehicle, or I could go home and she would call me.I was about to leave, but a vehicle happened to come in, so I asked her if I could take that vehicle. She ended up telling me that she could not give that vehicle because of some tire issues. This I could understand, since giving out an unsafe vehicle puts my life at risk, and the company in a possible liability issue if an accident were to occur. Just then another car came in, and this ended up being the vehicle that I would use.The car was washed on the outside, quickly, but washed none the less. The back of the vehicle was full of dog hair, cigarette burns, and smelled like urine. (I hope it was dog urine, but who knows it could have been human, some people party like that). The vehicle had scratches, had broken panels, and broken equipment. I did not need any of it, nor do I know what the equipment was for so I did not care too much about this. The reason I even stated this here is because when I did the walk around she mentioned that she had checked the vehicle, that everything was fine, and had nothing noted on her notes. She also mentioned that it was my time to point anything out otherwise I would be liable for any damages upon return of the vehicle.Once the walk around was complete, and she gave me the keys, she did not say thank you for your business, I apologize for you two hour wait, or thank you for not acting crazy when the vehicle that you had clearly reserved & paid for was not available to pick up. No she did not say any of this, the only thing she said was that next time I changed my pick up time with a Hertz representative over the phone, I needed to make sure that I called the office to let them know since it was clear that her Hertz coworkers, at the call center, did not have enough initiative to notify them when a change was made.So at the end it was my own fault for not calling. Now I know; I know that the bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.The only plus to this is that I was able to have a very pleasant conversation with an older lady who was waiting for her son to arrive before driving to N.C.Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy comment, and I hope that some major changes are done at this location.

The staff is extremely rude. Never ever rent here! When you walk in, there is no one to greet you, I waited for 10 minutes before anyone tried to help me. The car they gave me was dirty on the outside and the interior was disgusting. They do not care. This is the worst Hertz Ive ever dealt with. Horrible! Negative 5 stars!! Go to the airport Hertz, they are much better. This is the last time I rent from hertz.
Good customer service and professionalism go a long way, and this Hertz location has neither. Employees acted aggravated that customers were there. I will never rent a vehicle from here again.
Terrible. My insurance made the reservation 10 days in advance, I called 8 days in advance to confirm and schedule pick-up. The day of pick-up, I called 20 minutes before pick-up and the girl (Amy?) said her driver picked up the ticket and was on his way. I stood by the road for 45 minutes, then called this Pinhook Hertz. Adrienne said she had no reservation for me so I spoke to Amy who apologized and said she thought the driver was coming for me, but he wasnt. He was not coming to get me. So they sent the driver. I called my insurance and requested Enterprise instead. Avoid this Hertz. I should have read the reviews before I allowed my car insurance to schedule a rental at Hertz.
This was one of the worst rental car experiences Ive had. Be careful! Hertz allows rentals but doesnt guarantee you a car. From what the representative said this process is only to lock in a rate. It doesnt matter if you reserve online, in person, on the phone, at the location or hotline, you are not guaranteed a vehicle.
The staff here is ok... They werent rude but where not friendly. Rates are ok but where higher each week.. I asked for the cheapest and I got CHEAP.. the car they gave me worked but was horrible... this is not their fault as they did not make the car... Hope I never have to rent again but I dont think I would go through them.

If I could choose no stars I would, they withdraw the money for the rental then proceed to tell me they also need a major credit card so I now tell me I have to call the 1 800 number to have my money transferred back into my account! This place is total garbage and would never refer anyone to them. Dont you think they would just hold the debit card number and once everything is finalized then withdraw the money for for the rental? Im speechless
I asked for a mid-sized vehicle, they gave me a new convertible mustang! Im not complaining!
I booked a reservation at a location across town, and when I arrived via a $12 uber I was informed that my rental was taken moments before I arrived and there were no others on lot. I did not miss my deadline. I was informed that I should have booked by calling the location. However, I did call the location - they did not answer the phone call so I was directed to an 800 number who processed the information and sent me an email confirmation of my rental.Hands down the worst rental company Ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I was offered no ride, no deals, nothing. They searched for nearby locations and stated that there was one roughly 4 miles away for $90 more than my original booked price. Pathetic customer service. Avoid at all cost. Pay the extra money to enterprise and dont deal with the possibily of this event happening to you.
Horrible service, made reservations last week for a van, Monday morning they put it in to get an oil change. Its now 2:30 and the van still not ready

I reserved a car for 6:00pm and arrived at 6:05. A very rude and obnoxious lady just kept repeating Its after 6 sir and we are closed. The website gave no indication that the store closed at 6 (The time that it let me BOOK THE RESERVATION). I even did online check-in. The staff was rude and useless.To make it worse...As I was walking out I saw the car that I had booked being given to another man. I then saw the same rude attendant that told me they were closed helping the guy! Ridiculous!I had to call Enterprise and the guy there offered to stay late to help me out.DO NOT use these idiots!

They didnt have what we reserved a month earlier. When I asked for them to call the other Hertz in town, they refused.
Don’t ever rent from this location or this company. They charged an outrageous amount on my credit card and said I reported my keys lost, so said had to tow the car and all of this was untrue. After calling the main number of the company, they were completely useless and more or less called me a liar. This company is either all screwed up or totally a rip off!!!!!
