Delani cut and styled my hair today. I expressed my preferences and she made suggestions and knew exactly what to do and executed it beautifully! We socialized so much, I worried I had distracted her from her work but she did a wonderful job! It looks very modern and artistically balanced. She is a PRO!

I enjoy going to Refinery Downtown to get my haircut. Its clean, they play good music and the atmosphere is very calming. Leah does an excellent job on my hair and I love to have my scalp massaged with the hot towel treatment on my face. It is awesome.

I’ve going here for the past 5 or 6 years and the refinery is easily the best place to get your haircut. As soon as you come in your greeted with a warm welcome from the front and your stylist as well. My stylist was Katie... and she’s absolutely the Best! She really goes above and beyond in getting to know you and exactly how you want your hair done. The best parts she also not shy to give input on what might work better for you not. Gotta go here you’ll love it!

I have been frequenting The Refinery for quite a while now. I have always been impressed with their efforts to spoil their customers. I have tried almost every service offered and have never left disappointed. The atmosphere is soothing. The staff is always professional and courteous. Jamie and Jessi are as skilled as they come. Every time I get a 30 minute massage Heathers able hands make me wish I had booked an hour. I always look and feel like a champ when I leave. Renee has furnished the business with every pampering detail that you can think of. I now even bring my 12 year old son and he always leaves with a smile. And now that they offer womens services I can try to persuade my wife to treat herself as well. I can go on forever praising The Refinery, but I would just advise anybody to just go try it and get hooked!Keep up the great work ladies!

My son and I have both gone here and been taken care of by separate barbers and this is the best haircut weve each had. I had my haircut by Leah and she was fantastic, cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and was very friendly and made me feel welcome.My son saw Melissa and she did a great job with his hair and was also very friendly. He said it was the best haircut hes ever had and felt that she treated him like a person and talked to him instead of just treating him like a little kid like some other places hes been to.

Asked for an inch or so off the front they took off 3 inches. Cost nearly $30 with tax and a tip and it looks absolutely horrible, and as a bonus they were late.

I personally will not be returning to The Refinery. I used to go regularly for hair color, but the last time I went I was charged to fix a mistake. I have darker hair and should have been told that it would take multiple sessions to lighten it before I could put in the color. However, I had it bleached once and it still had yellow undertones when the color was put in, and I dont believe I had any toner put in. This resulted in my hair being three different colors. Initially, the hairdresser wasnt going to charge me to fix it, but the manager said she had to charge me for the product. I appreciate the hairdresser offering to fix the mistake, but I find this incredibly unprofessional for a salon.

Great service, relaxing atmosphere, reasonable prices, and I love my hair!!I love going to refinery for all the things I listed but most of all because of the talented stylist. I just recently cut and highlighted my hair and it turned out great. The attention to detail is top notch. I highly recommend trying Refinery for your next haircut, color, or even their spa services...promise you will leave as happy as I did!!!

The staff has been outstanding in making the Refinery experience one of professionalism, service, comfort and pleasure. I was first afforded an opportunity to visit the refinery by virtue of a gift certificate which then translated into several return visits after being exposed to its totality of serving my needs. I see the Refinery as genuine in their approach to making ones business is welcome and appreciated. In particular I find my stylist Rene, also the owner, to be friendly, talented and pleasant in conversation.

I’ve been getting my haircut at the refinery for several years now and have never had a bad experience. Katie Francois has been cutting my hair for the last two years. She is very professional, a pleasure to visit with and does a great job. I would recommend getting the scalp massage with a hair cut.

Kelly also gave me some quite useful advice as to how to handle my hair on a daily basis. Without a doubt one of the coolest spaces in Lafayette. The Refinery is not your typical mens barber experience. Its the type of place youd expect to stumble upon in NY or LA. One visit and youll be a client for life!

Ive been getting my hair done by Leah for years now and have never had a complaint. Everyone there is always super friendly and the atmosphere is chill. The online reservation system is also easy to use, and they now use Flok as a punch card / rewards / coupon / chat type app and its pretty sweet. After being with them for this long Im confident they can handle any sort of hair style anyone requests.

I am always greeted with a hello and smile. The ladies that work at the Refinery are very professional and often funny and easy to speak to. I truly enjoy the ultimate haircut with the hot towel and the scalp masssage, it is incredible!!! Highly recommend scheduling an appointment. The website makes it very easy.

Scheduled a head & neck shave along with a beard trim. Upon arrival it is explained that we may not have enough time to do anything but the head shave. As the shaving commenced, I realized that the head shave was being done with a DISPOSABLE RAZOR. She decided that there was enough time to shave my neck but did not touch my beard which was the main reason I went there. When I go to check out, $70!!!! For a shave with a damn disposable razor. It doesn’t cost me $70 to shave in a year. What a sham, never going back.

My fiance and I live in Houston but almost every time we come back to Lafayette he makes time to visit The Refinery. He loves the hot towel shaves! As for me you can not beat the products and the friendly atmosphere, downtown Lafayette is just such a special place. Looking forward to many more trips!

My son and I make a Guys morning every three weeks when we get our hair cut. We go to breakfast, get our hair cut and get away. He and I will have a lot to remember when he grows up as Refinery is a great place to have your hair cut and get out of the salon atmosphere of so many places.
