Incredibly consistent and professional! This is hands-down the best barber shop in Acadiana. Does not matter whose chair you sit in, you will be satisfied every time. PS theyre fantastic with kids!

Been to Kevins a few times and the service had been fantastic. The price is actually pretty good for how well they do, most other places Ive been offering similar services are 10 bucks more at least.This is not a place that you can in and out real quick (unless maybe you request it) but thats not a knock against them. The barbers take their time to make sure your hair is right and looks good

Ive been using Kevins for a decade. The barbers are always professional and friendly. Its the kind of place that doesnt need a computer to remember what type of haircut you like. I will say that the only downfall(?) is that you would be wise to make an appointment, but thats only if you are used to places in the shopping mall that jack your dome up. Good haircuts take time and once people get one from Kevs, they keep coming back.

Smitty Lange cut my sons hair today, this is his first boys hair cut! He did an amazing job! Very retro and stylish! Everyone stopped me after in public to ask me where I brought him to get his hair cut! I couldn’t recommend anyone else to do a man or boys hair cut.

Stay away from Matt if you frequent this shop. Not only will he take two hours to get the job done, the end result will not be what you ask for. Even after showing him pictures of the haircut I wanted he still managed to get off track and do his own thing. I had to stop the cut before he was finished because I could see he was trying to give me a bald fade after I had expressed to him that is not what I wanted. After paying for a haircut from a licensed barber I would not have expected I would need to wear a cap for the next few months to hide the worst haircut I’ve ever had. I do not see how this man acquired a license and I think the owner of Kevin’s needs to shadow him until he gets better. I live close to the shop but I will drive out of my way to avoid going back here.

Best barber shop in Lafayette. Kevin and his staff are top notch. Its not a salon, so dont expect a shampoo and a wax. Its a real barber shop.

I tried to go get a hair cut without a appointment but the sign says walk-ins welcome so I went on in. After I signed in and waited an hour I was then told that I wouldnt be able to get a hair cut. I understand as far as not having a appointment, but the sign said walk-in welcome and then for me wait a hour to be turned away was beyond ridiculous.Moral of the story- make an appointment.

Super nice stylist. My kid was being a brat that day but Smitty was very nice and gave him a good haircut.

Been going for years now. Never a bad experience!

Just got my 2 year old sons hair cut and his head is all gapped up bad!! The barber cut himself, bled in my sons hair and didnt even bother to wash it out or put a bandaid to stop the blood instead he put toilet tissue in his hand and kept cutting. Now we have to go and pay someone else to try and fix the damage done to my sons hair!! Waste of money!!
