Always get my sons right. Sometimes the wait can be long but that’s because they are good at what they do. Ashely was soo patient with my younger one and all his wiggles. Also my son who has a multiple cowlicks. She was AMAZING!!

Honestly I’m only leaving this review because one of my boys had a horrible experience. The others were great! But the guy cutting my sons hair I don’t remember his name but he is tall and has dreads.. my son said he was bullying him the whole time because he was moving and was saying rude things and was pushing his fingers into his eyes too as he was doing the edgeup. How nice to bully an 11 year old. 😑Never going back here again. Extremely unprofessional and not worth the “cheaper” prices.

Eli cut my sons hair today and let me tell you Im their customer til my son is grown now. I used to go any where and they would always and I mean always mess his hair up. Eli did not mess it up and it actually looks way better than usual.

We had an appointment today at noon with a barber named “Mankey” for my son to get his haircut before back to school. We made the appointment weeks ago.We showed up at 11:50 and sat inside. We were told by another barber that Mankey would be there “in a minute”. We sat around until 12:20 and our barber never showed up.We left and now had to find another barber on a SATURDAY with no appointment any where else.. What a waste of time especially when we traveled 30 minutes for the appointment.

The barber shop I usually go to was closed today and it was my only day off so I just thought why not give it a try. I should’ve went somewhere else. The sides are extremely uneven. The guy cut much more on one side than the other. Then for the top, the guy barely cut on one side and went shorter on the other. Never going back again

Evan really took the rats nest of bleached damaged awful hair I came in with and turned it absolutely gorgeous. I got a Mohawk with blunt bangs and face framing bits on the side, and he took so much time and care to make sure it was shaved super even and straight. Asked my input every step of the way to make sure it came out exactly how I wanted. I seriously love how it came out, Ill be coming back for future haircuts for sure!

I have been bringing my son here due a while. He always gets a great cut at a great price!! Super nice people too!!

Ace of Spades is a very professional and very friendly shop. Every time I go in, all the staff welcome me. I appreciate the atmosphere they create.I always request that Annette cut my hair. She helped me learn the hair style that is best for my hair type and she always remembers how to cut my it when I go in. Each haircut is precise. There are never any awkward gaps to deal with. Shes very good at her craft.

It takes me about 40 min drive to get here and it is well worth it. Great price and professional service. I highly recommend Ace of Spades!

This place is great! I have been to plenty of barber shops and haircut places and i continue to return here for years. These people know what theyre doing and they love what they do. If theyre not busy they may have bookings so if your a walk in make sure you keep in open communications with them. They may be busy but are always worth the wait! I see gmas, men, women, and kids here often and for plenty of reasons i always make an appointment. Time is precious to us all but time is also an illusion u cant rush an art.

I walked in with my son to get him a haircut and a woman cutting hair asks one of the barbers how long? The other male barber says I have two waiting. There were 3 customers in there waiting. He says 1 hour. And I stood there with my son for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to ask me if I wanted to wait, or sign in to hold my spot, or make an appointment ...but no one said a word to me. I felt as if I was doing something wrong. Keep in mind the sign says walk-ins welcome. I think they mean UNWELCOME Extremely rude and unprofessional. I walked out and no one said a word to me. I wont return. Another customer walked out right after me.

I do not recommend this place. Called around 2:45pm and was told the wait was only 20 minutes. Got there at 3pm. 3 guys were cutting hair, all of them were nice, talkative and cool. My son went first, simple haircut, half guard on the sides and back, blend in the middle and trim about 1/2 inch off the top. The guy did nice lines but the top was barely trimmed and he never used scissors. I thought ok, son isnt in school right now, whatever.My turn, same cut as my son but I showed him a picture on my phone, of ME, with a fresh haircut and thats how I wanted it. Dude completely butchered my head and did the complete opposite. Not only that, he ran the damn clippers down my beard without saying anything. Before I knew it, I was missing half my damn beard and he said I got you. I never even asked for my beard to be touched.When it was all said and done, me and my son both had terrible haircuts, burns from the clippers that were on constantly and now I have a chopped up crooked beard that I have been growing for months.To top it off...Grand total, $57.41 and the time is now 5:58pmOh and almost forgot to mention, two barbers were using the same guards and there was no sanitation in site for the combs or clipper guards. Also, watch the charges, on the wall it shows kids cuts are $12 but they charged me $20.

Great experience and fantastic prices!I was able to get an appointment quickly, I called in the morning and was able to get in that afternoon. The service was prompt, and the shop well kept.I am very happy with the color and cut done by Evan. I never thought Id be able to afford having professional color done regularly, but Ace of Spades prices make it feasible. Absolutely love this place. I went to see Evan for a color correction and he did such a great job with my hair. Final color was an absolutely lovely shade with rose gold tone! Affordable prices and I had a good time chatting with Evan and Pati. Everyone there was friendly. Note: this is not your typical salon it is a combo of salon/barbershop so if you dont like the barbershop environment then this isnt your place.

Went in and asked for an undercut with designs, and was told the best guy for the job would be an hour and a half wait. Well worth it!! The environment itself is worth sticking around and laughing. Great service, great people. Even handed out some free wings to pluckers! I’ll definitely be going back when I need a touch up.

Evan was fantastic! He is young, fun and super nice. He did exactly what I wanted and I love my hair. He suggest adding a light pink shade, that washes out over weeks, for gray coverage, I love it. Ace Of Spades is not a fancy place, no spa feel here. It has a rather fun, barbershop vibe. Several people came in just to visit and hang out. An added PLUS Evan honors the Groupon price for future visits, you dont even have to buy a first one, which is amazing. I just dont what to spend $200.00 getting my hair done. This is my new place :) Update 04/12/2019 Evan is still my guy. I find myself saying after each visit, Evan, you never disappoint me.. Added note, if you want any kind of braiding, Patty is your girl.

Not a Bad little place in kyle. It was clean, people were friendly, the vibe was great. I enjoyed my time while jessica cut my hair, she was very nice, I had a good conversation with not only her but other barbers there as well. I will be going back. I definitely recommend this place!

Ive taken my son here several times & everyone is always very kind and professional. There have been several times I called for a last minute cut and they have always been able to work my son in the same day which is always greatly appreciated. Would recommend the shop to anyone. :)

Went in for a shave and fade. Came out with several cuts all on my neck. And the fade was non existent. Went to pay with my card and was charged on his personal phone. Didnt feel to good about it.

The barbers/stylists are very friendly and focused on the client that they are attending to. Evan is the stylist I have gone to and gives me the best cut Ive ever had! He listens and does what you ask. I dont have to fix it once I get home!

Made an appointment with Pati to clean up my fried uneven ends. She did an awesome job, and shes super friendly to boot. Definitely recommend giving her a try! She tends to be booked up, so plan on making your appointment several days in advance.

My son received a haircut here, great service but a long wait. I suggest making an appointment or coming right as they open. $13 for his haircut and line. The line up lasted him like 2 weeks.

Called and asked if they accept walk ins. Was told that if i was ready now would be a great time. I show up 5 minutes later, theres one guy cutting hair and one guy cleaning his station. No one says anything. I stand around for a little and then the guy cutting hair asks me if i have an appt. No. Ok. Have a seat well be right with you. The guy cleaning his station finishes up and leaves. The other guy was almost done so i figure whatever im a walk in ill wait. Nope. Finishes up on that guy and then another hops in the chair. I left. These guys need to communicate better or have someone help with customer service.

If I were you I would stay from this place unless you have close people you know that go here. I learned the hard way.worst place to go for a cut, went it and Eric butchered i came in for my top curls to be left and hang( had other plans for the top later) and cut the side and back and even it out a little. He was doing good at the beginning but i guess my small request was too much for him and went down hill from there. I ask to bring the side up a little and comb down that part i ask and start cut and was not paying attention at all started cut in the part of my hair that he comb down leaving short hair patches everywhere making it uneven and with the back went in a wierd angle and higher that i asked for. after that brought it up the next day (be the person i am) on the phone spoke with him for a second about it ask for a refund he said when can you come in, like he knew what he did since it was about 730 when done (the place says 8pm close) I guess he was mad that he stayed so late like i was a burden on his day. I go in no words were said just walked in first step in, he looked up and seen me pulled the money out with no hesitation knowing what he did. If he apologize because it was accident I would have been ok with it but when I first brought it up after but he stood there on the line putting on this act like he is over everyone. I see that as being terrible in a customer service as a barber.

Didnt believe the critics on the wait time. Spent 1 hour and and a half waiting to sit in a chair when there was only 2 people waiting and 3 working. Still have to wait for the hair cut.
